we just went to this activity last Wednesday 8.30 am and it was great! We arrived a bit early and just took a walk around the park. very nice area. They have easy parking next to the Marina where you can park for $1.00/ hour. The crew on the cruise was very nice and made us feel welcome right away. We were only 6 on the cruise witch made it very intimate. I think that is one of the great advantages of the morning cruise, We took a drink and sat on the front nats until we saw turtle and dauphins and finally on the way back a couple whales. The whales were the least impressive as you stand far away and they don t really jump out of the water as you see on TV. It was one mother and one maybe and they basically just came up to the surface to breath every so often. Everything considering, this was a great way to spend morning. Maybe a bit overpriced but the crew and amenities were great.
Compare to the huge ships, I would choose this one every time just so you actually feel like you are on a boat .
Snacks could use improvement and the way back to marina was a bit rushed

The boat is a twin-hulled vessel with dual propulsion and has a restroom. It moves within Kaneohe Bay, protected from waves by a coral reef, so there's hardly any rocking and no worries about seasickness. Participants were evenly split between Japanese and people from other countries.
It's reassuring that there are staff members who can speak Japanese.
I signed up without much expectation, but the sandbar was amazing!!! A vast expanse of white sand. People playing beach volleyball. English conversations, jokes, and laughter echoing around. Boats anchored here and there. Staff playing guitar and singing.
I truly felt like I had come to paradise. I will never forget this experience. I'm really glad I came.
At the turtle spot, I was able to see many turtles.
I was lucky enough to swim with turtles while snorkeling. They allow you to go without a life jacket, so you can enjoy deep dives. There are plenty of fish! About an hour of fun!
In March, the water is cold. It's fine while you're in, but it gets chilly once you get out, so be sure to bring a bath towel and a change of clothes.
The boat has a cabin and quite a bit of space, so you can bring in a fair amount of luggage. There are several staff members on each boat, and there’s always someone where the luggage is, so I felt safe from theft.
There are no showers, but at the end, they rinse you off with a bucket of fresh water.
Soft drinks are available for free. I was also happy to have hot cocoa after getting out of the water. The hamburgers for lunch were delicious.
All the staff were cheerful and made a great impression. They really seemed to enjoy being with the customers, which made it fun!
I met up at the location, but you can park for free at the boat harbor.
Like with any tour, changing from swimwear to clothes is done in the restroom. However, those using the shuttle can ride the bus in their swimwear.
Yuki, the Japanese staff member, was very efficient, humorous, and took great care of us.
I highly recommend this tour.

サンゴの環礁で波から守られたカネオヘ湾内を動くので、揺れはほとんど無く船酔いの心配なし。
参加者は日本人とその他国の人で半々でした。

3月だと水は冷たいです。
入水中は良いのですが、出てから寒いので、バスタオルと着替えを持ってゆきましょう。
ボートはキャビン艇で結構スペースがあるので割と荷物を持ち込めます。
一隻に数人スタッフが乗り込み、荷物のある場所には必ずスタッフがいる感じでしたので
盗難の心配もありませんでした。
シャワーはありませんが、最後にバケツ一杯くらいの真水で流してくれます。
ソフトドリンクは自由に飲めます。
最後、水からあがったらホットココアを頂けたのもうれしかった。
お昼のハンバーガーもおいしかった。
スタッフ方々全員明るく好印象です。
お客さんと一緒に楽しんでいる感がハンパなくて楽しい！
私は現地集合でしたが、ボートハーバーに無料で駐車できます。
どこのツアーもそうですが、水着→洋服の着替えはトイレで。
ただし、送迎利用の人は、水着のままバス乗ってOKだということでした。
日本人スタッフのユキさんはハキハキ・テキパキとしていてユーモアもあって
たいへんお世話になりました。

水着は事前に着用して参加し、帰りのバスも座席にバスタオルが敷いてあり、水着のまま乗り込んでホテルまで帰ることができます。こうした情報が、事前に知れるとよかったのですが、VELTRAさんを通してだとどういう風に聞くのか分からなかったので、着替えを持っていくのかどうかと出発直前まで悩みました。ＨＩＳ経由でもツアー申込ができたので、そうすればよかったかなと思いました。

日本語ガイドがいる日本船と 英語のみの英語船とがありました。
私たち家族は英語船へ、母と友人は日本語船へ乗船。
日本人に人気のサンドバーだけあって 日本船は満員でした。
それに比べて英語船は （同じ大きさですが）ゆったりのんびり。
この差が大きく出たのは ランチ時です。
ずーっと並んでいる日本人を横目に ランチのお代わりをする英語船。
亀何匹見れた？って友人に聞いたら ３匹も見れたよ～ と返事。
そっちは何匹？と聞かれ ３０匹以上見れた と返事するのが申し訳ない位。
日本人ガイドさんとは サンドバーに上陸したときに会えるので、
特に英語で困らなければ 英語船への乗船をお勧めします。
元々乗組員は全員英語 ジョークも英語ですので、わからない方にはわかりません。
シュノーケリングを楽しんで 亀を見るだけなら
英語がわからなくても大丈夫です。
ただ海の透明度は メキシコのカンクンなどに比べるとはるかに落ちますが、
こんなに一杯魚いるんだ～ と感激しました。
初シュノーケリングではまりました。
（翌年はメキシコでシュノーケリングするくらいはまりました）
It was a good fun thing to do as a family. My only complaint was we were to be released by tables for the food but apparently the Japan folks didn't get that and we ended up having to wait a long time. The ship was clean and the staff we nice.
The catamaran was the perfect vessel to get up close to Dolphins, turtles and other sea life. From the minute we got on board the entire crew had welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. The captain explained what we would see and the rules of the vessel and was ready and willing to answer any questions or address any issues. I was impressed that they offered sunscreen to use and oil for motion sickness. It was thoughtful of them and they really cared about their passengers having a good trip. They had refreshments and juices for free. They offered beer for ($1) and mixed drinks for ($2). The drinks were strong, too. : ) We saw several pods of Dolphins, turtles and a whale. It was an awesome experience. I would take my children next time we go to Hawaii. Thank you to all the crew. You were the best!
I was worried about seasickness and the possibility of falling into the sea while traveling with my almost 2-year-old and 6-year-old, but those worries were completely unfounded. At first, we only caught a glimpse of a dorsal fin, but before we knew it, we were treated to the spectacular sight of 3 or 4 whales diving one after another! Both the kids and the adults, including the captain, were thrilled. On the way back, we were also able to see dolphins.
One thing… I would have appreciated a bit more for breakfast. However, we returned to the hotel by late morning and were able to make very meaningful use of our day.

We looked around at a lot of luaus but then we luckily got recommended for chiefs from our front desk lady. The food was amazing, the stuff before was a lot of fun. The show was incredible and the chief was a blast and very funny! Would defiantly recommend it to anyone looking for a great luau at a pretty good price!
The large ship was stable, and my wife and son, who are prone to seasickness, had no issues. Although we didn't see the dynamic whales like in the pictures, we were able to spot a few whales that surfaced and spouted water.

My family of four had a great time on this cruise. We did have some trouble finding the boat in the slip at the harbor. Directions could have been better. Once we were on the boat, everything was what was expected. The crew was very nice and helpful. We found a pod of whales right away and then went and snorkeled at a reef because we had time. I participated in the morning. On the day I joined, the sandbar had water depth up to my knees, and the sandbar was not visible. It was quite cold, and I shivered. It's definitely better to wear a rash guard or something similar. Once you get into the water for snorkeling, you get used to the cold. The fish are quite deep down, so they can be a bit hard to see. However, there are plenty of coral reefs, and you can see some fish. When you dive and come back up to the boat, it gets cold again, so I recommend bringing a larger bath towel. Anyway, all the staff here are very energetic and friendly! I would love to participate again next time!

Last year, the kids went to Wet'n Wild for a summer program and had so much fun that they decided to participate again during our stay in Oahu. Since it was the off-season in February, it was only open on weekends, so there were fewer visitors, and it seemed like there were more locals. We rented a cabana, which allowed us to relax in the shade, and since we signed up for a plan that included lunch and free drinks (the containers were unique), the kids were happy. 去年子供たちがサマープログラムでWet'n wildに行き、とても楽しかったらしく、今回のオアフステイでも参加することに。2月のオフシーズンだったので週末しか営業していなかったので、入場者自体少なくロコの方が多かったように思います。地元の子供達と一緒にトルネードや他のアトラクションに乗ったりしましたが、思っていた以上に怖くて面白かったです。カバナを借りていたので、日陰でゆったりも出来ましたし、昼食とフリードリンク付き(容器が独特です)のプランに申し込みしていたので子供達は喜んでいました。昼食の味は……でしたが、泳いでお腹ペコペコの子供達は満足してました。送迎もスムーズで、帰りのバスで爆睡してました。レンタカーで行くより楽だと思います。次回も申し込みたいです。

I was told by the travel agency to book the Heaven's Sea tour early, but I completely forgot, and the tour was fully booked. So, I used Veltra.

Our guide and marine biologist, Adam, was very knowledgeable about the whales and the area and explained everything we needed to know. We saw the North Shore and spent time at the Banzai Pipeline, we visited Waimea Falls after a nice stroll/hike with lots of info about the area and the flora/fauna, we ate at Fumi's Shrimp Truck, and we stopped at a Macadamia farm/shop. It was fun, relaxed, and I learned a lot, plus the views were fantastic!

Oahu Nature Tours
On the day of our visit, the sky was cloudy and it was still a bit chilly. The pool was cold...
The slides were thrilling and great. We participated in the deluxe course, which included a 30-minute bodyboard lesson, and we had the wave pool all to ourselves. I recommend it for beginners, especially for kids. My child (8 years old) really got into it.
Overall, it felt a bit outdated, but if the weather is nice, I think it's a fun place for families with children.
The best time to visit is after April when it starts to get warmer.

今回、デラックスコースで参加しましたが、ボディーボードレッスン付（30分）で
波のでるプールを貸切にして行われます。
初めての人にはお勧めですよ。特に子供さんには良いです。
うちの子（８才）はすっかりはまってしまいました。
全体的にはちょっと古くなってきている感はありましたが、天候が良ければ子供連れには
楽しめる場所と思います。
お薦め時期は熱くなってくる４月以降がいいですね。

The weather was nice and it was a pleasant cruise, but it wasn't as good for watching as I had hoped. A couple of whales spouted, but I think many people missed them because they were small. I guess it's just luck, isn't it? Diamond Head was clearly visible and the scenery was beautiful!

We couldn't see the dolphins up close during the dolphin watching, so it seems the kids didn't enjoy it as much. However, it was nice that there was food and drinks available in case the kids got bored.

My friends and I were finally able to get together on Oahu, and we knew that we wanted to spend it out on the water. This cruise was the perfect choice since we got to snorkel at TWO spots (both filled with fish, coral, urchins, etc.), sipped on cocktails, devoured plates and plates of food, watched the sunset AND got to see whales! We literally couldn't ask for more!
After leaving the harbor, we headed out to the first snorkel spot and got the first glimpse of whales and after we got out of the water (which was really warm by the way), we saw even MORE whales!
The food was really hearty and filling (pulled pork, teriyaki chicken, a really tasty pasta salad, white rice, veggies and fruit) and the crew kept all of our drinks topped up :)
Really happy that we got to go on this cruise, and can't wait to go again on my next visit!
I couldn't recommend this tour more. It felt very local with funny local tour guides and a private reef to snorkel! Even saw four giant sea turtles while swimming! Thanks again and a hui hou! Aloha!
