It was the best time we have had. Learned a lot about how they grow pineapple 🍍

There was singing, services like spam rice balls, hula dancing, and a lot of other activities besides sea turtle snorkeling, which made it enjoyable! Having a Japanese guide eased my worries. The sea was also very beautiful.

However, reflecting on my experience, I had never gotten seasick before, so I didn't take any motion sickness medication, but the boat rocked quite a bit and I started to feel unwell. I think it would have been better to take the medication. Perhaps reading the lyrics while singing contributed to my nausea as well. My husband and son went up to the second floor of the boat and said they really enjoyed feeling like they were driving the boat, so I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I could have done that too...

歌あり、スパムおにぎりなどのサービスあり、フラダンスもありで、ウミガメシュノーケリング以外のものも盛りだくさんで、楽しめました！！日本人ガイドさんがいてくれたので不安もありませんでした。海もとてもキレイ。
ただ自分への反省として、今まで酔ったことがなかったので酔い止めは飲まなかったのですが、結構船が揺れて気分が悪くなってしまいました。酔い止めは飲んだ方がよかったかなと思いました。もしかしたら、歌を歌う時に文字を読んだのも、酔いに繋がったのかも。夫と息子は船の2階に上がって、自分が船を運転している気分になってとても楽しめたと言っていたので、それも出来たらもっと楽しめたな…と思いました。

I visited during the off-season. Overall, it was not crowded, and there were plenty of beach beds available. My child was too scared to go on the slides, so it ended up being a bit pricey in terms of cost performance, but I would recommend it if you can enjoy the various types of slides.

The lazy river has a gentler current compared to Japan, so it might feel a bit lacking. The wave pool had so many floaties that they ran out.

A Japanese staff member assisted with entry, which was very helpful and easy to understand.

オフシーズンに利用しました。
全体的に空いていて、ビーチベッドも十分使えました。子どもが怖がってスライダーに行けなかったので、コスパとしては高くつきましたが、いろんな種類のスライダーを楽しめるのならおすすめです。

流れるプールは流れが日本よりもゆったりしているので物足りないかもしれません。波の出るプールは浮き輪が足りなくなるくらいでした。

日本人のスタッフの方が入場のお手伝いをしてくださり、わかりやすかったです。

It was exactly as I imagined, the best. It was a bit unclear what the tipping norms were, but even those who aren't confident in their physical strength can enjoy it enough. SAP is difficult...

想像通り最高でした。チップの相場が分かりづらかったですが、体力に自信がない人も十分楽しめます。SAPは難しい…。

As soon as we boarded, we had banana bread and coffee. It was really delicious! We were able to see whales about four times. They were a bit far away, though!

乗船してすぐにバナナブレッド、コーヒーをいただきました。すごくおいしかったです！
クジラは4回ほど見ることができました。遠目ではありましたが、、！

What a great night the staff and cast were so kind. It was very entertaining. My nine-year-old said it was the best night she had in Hawaii highly recommend.

Have our own private table and food was good. Have freedom to go topside and had our dinner for the fire works. Second time doing this and would do it again.

This was a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Getting to see whales was the icing on the top of a scenic and informative trip.

All of the staff on the boat, from the Captain to the servers were all very nice, accommodating and service minded. Joshua did a great job answering questions and adding nuggets of knowledge about the trip. The ship was in great condition and prepared for the cruise, and it made for a very relaxing and comfortable voyage.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any whales on this tour, but as a fisherman, I understand the difference between fishing and catching, and sometimes the fish just aren’t cooperating and ya just need to relax and enjoy the beauty. But, the most important thing is, as Larry Fleet says in the song “Where I Find God”, “you can’t find Peace Like this in a bottle or a pill”.

I would do this trip again in a heartbeat, and if we see a whale, that would just be lagniappe!

Ashlyn was a great tour guide! Pointed out many animals and very knowledgeable and so funny!

First of all, I was worried because I can't speak English, but as soon as I arrived at the airport, the English-speaking guide approached me, which made me feel at ease. They took us around Kauai Island in a large bus. There were so many highlights, and everything was moving. Perhaps because we were able to share such wonderful views, by the time we were leaving, I had become friends with everyone, and it was sad to say goodbye. This is a tour where you can have a great time even if you're traveling alone!

まず、英語が話せないので英語ガイドさんは不安でしたが空港に着いたらすぐに声をかけてくださって安心しました。大きなバスでカウアイ島を案内してくださいます。
見どころたっぷりで全部が感動でした。
ステキな景色を共有できた為か
帰る頃には、皆さんと仲良くなりお別れが残念でした。

Authentic and warm. Food was also excellent. Location was great

I had previously used the Star of Honolulu for the sunset dinner cruise, but this was my first time participating in another activity. I was able to see whales from a distance. Even if you don't understand English, they provide simple explanations like "at 3 o'clock," so there's not much to worry about.

From the boat, I could enjoy the urban skyline of Waikiki alongside the natural beauty of Diamond Head, which truly felt like a Hawaiian landscape. The light snacks, like pineapple banana bread and Kona coffee, were delicious, making this activity enjoyable both as a whale watching experience and simply as a cruise.

スターオブホノルルはサンセットディナークルーズで利用したことはありましたが、それ以外のアクティビティで参加するのは初めてでした。
クジラは少し遠目からですが見ることができました。英語がわからなくても◯時の方向と簡潔に説明してくれるのであまり心配はありません。
船上から見るワイキキの都会的なビル群とダイヤモンドヘッドの大きな自然の部分がハワイらしい景色を感じることができました。
軽食のパイナップルバナナブレッドやコナコーヒーもおいしく、ホエールウォッチングの体験としても、シンプルにクルーズ体験としてもとても楽しめたアクティビティでした。

We participated as a family of six, including our young children. On the way to the sandbar, we spotted a few honu (sea turtles) here and there. We were able to see a heart-shaped reef, and it was a pleasant cruise while enjoying snacks and drinks on board.

After arriving at the sandbar, we split into two groups (maybe depending on the number of participants?), and we alternated between snorkeling tours and activities in two sessions. I thought snorkeling would be just one of the activities, but it felt more like a full tour, so it seemed challenging for those who aren't good swimmers. However, our children, who are not yet confident swimmers, borrowed bodyboards with windows to peek underwater and participated while being pushed by their parents, so they could enjoy it too. We saw many honu here as well.

The activities included canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and floating rings, among others, which was great to experience. Unfortunately, due to our travel schedule, we were there during a neap tide, but we chose a plan that coincided with low tide, so the water level was just knee to thigh deep, which was perfect for paddleboarding and canoeing!

At first, I thought the participation fee was a bit high, but it turned out to be a very satisfying day with the rare experience of seeing many honu.

子供(未就学児)と両親を含め家族6人で参加しました。
サンドバーに向かう最中からホヌ(ウミガメ)がチラホラ。ハート型のリーフも見る事ができ、船上でお菓子や飲み物を楽しみながらの気持ち良いクルージングでした。
サンドバー到着後は、2つのグループに別れ(参加人数にもよるのかな？)、前後半でシュノーケリングツアーとアクティビティを交代してやる感じでした。シュノーケリングはアクティビティの中の一つかと思いきや、ガッツリとツアーのような感じで泳ぐので、泳ぎが苦手な方は大変そうでした。でも、まだ泳ぎも得意とは言えない我が家の子供達は、最初からシュノーケルは使わず、水中を覗ける窓付きのボディボード(?)を借りて、それを親が押しながら参加出来たので、子供でも楽しめました。ここでもホヌが沢山見れました。
アクティビティはカヌーやサップ、浮き輪などなど、、色々体験出来て良かったです。
今回、旅程の関係で残念ながら小潮の時期でしたが、干潮の時間にツアーが重なる日とプランを選んだので、水位は膝〜もも位の深さで、サップやカヌーをやるにはちょうど良かったです！
最初は参加費が高いかなぁと思いましたが、たくさんのホヌに会える貴重な体験も出来て、大満足な1日になりました。

The show was entertaining and the Chief is so funny!!!

The weather was wonderful, and I was lucky enough to see whales, dolphins, and turtles. Our guide Yuji, along with Nora and Captain Warren, were all very kind and made the experience enjoyable. During snorkeling, I was able to see several green sea turtles. I was worried about seasickness, but I took some motion sickness medication beforehand, so I didn't have any major issues.

お天気にも恵まれ、幸運にもクジラ·イルカ·カメの全てを観ることができました。
ガイドのYUJIさんをはじめ、ノラさん、ウォーレン船長も皆さん親切で楽しめました。シュノーケルでも、アオウミガメも数匹見られました。船酔いが心配でしたが、酔い止めを飲んで行ったので特に問題なかったです。

I felt reassured because there were staff members who could speak Japanese and provided explanations.
As it was February, the water temperature was low and it was cold.
While snorkeling, there were many large sea turtles resting on the coral and swimming gracefully.

The water level was about knee-deep.

The bus guide kindly stopped by a famous malasada shop on the way back, making it a very satisfying tour.

2月とだけあって水温は低めで寒かったです。
シュノーケルは大きなウミガメが沢山いて珊瑚でおやすみやら優雅に泳いでいました。

水位は膝下くらいまでありました。

バスガイドさんが　帰りに有名なマラサダ屋に立ち寄ってくださり大変満足したツアーでした。

We participated with four adults and a 0-year-old and a 3-year-old, bringing a foldable stroller. The elevator was available, so moving to the deck was not an issue, but we couldn't change diapers (we used the stroller to do that). The stroller was necessary for our subsequent plans, but we could leave our belongings at the table we were initially guided to, so it was great that it didn't get in the way while watching the whales.

I thought seeing the whales was completely a matter of luck, but in February, we were fortunate to see them! Two whales happened to swim back and forth quite close to the surface multiple times, allowing us to capture them with our eyes, not just on video or in photos, which was lucky! The captain announced in English, "They're at 10 o'clock!" or "Look to the 9 o'clock direction!" and we moved based on that and hints from those around us. There was one person who could speak a little Japanese, so for those who are not confident in English, it might be a good idea to stick with that person. By the way, my family also saw dolphins and turtles… I'm envious!

The guides on the way there and back were English speakers and very cheerful. Especially on the way back, they were flexible, changing our drop-off point and accepting requests for unexpected stops. Since the tour ended before noon, I was thinking about going to Ala Moana Shopping Center afterward, but I was unsure how to get there. However, I learned that it was possible to get off the bus along the way, which I wanted to take advantage of, but due to various circumstances, we ended up getting off at our hotel.

I want to come back again when the kids are older!

0歳3歳大人4人、折り畳めるベビーカー持参で参加しました。エレベーター完備なので、デッキへの移動は問題ないのですが、おむつ替えは出来ませんでした(ベビーカーを使って換えました)。その後の予定のために必要だったベビーカーですが、最初に案内されるテーブルに荷物を置いて行けるので、鯨を観る時には邪魔にならず良かったです。

鯨は完全に運だとは思いましたが、流石に2月！しっかり会えました。たまたま2頭が結構近くの海面を何度も行ったり来たりしてくれたお陰で、ビデオや写真だけに追われず肉眼でも捉える事ができて、ラッキーでした！船長さんが、10時にいるよ！とか9時方向だ！とか英語でアナウンスしてくれるのと、周りの人をヒントに移動しました。お一人、日本語が少し話せる方もいたので、英語苦手な方はその方にくっついていくのもありかもです。
ちなみに、私の家族はイルカとカメも見たとの事…羨ましい

行き帰りは英語のガイドさん。行きも帰りも、陽気な方達でした。特に帰りは、降りる場所を変更してくれたり、予定外の停車場所もリクエスト受け付けてくれたりと、臨機応変に対応していました。ツアーが昼前に終わるので、その後はアラモアナショッピングセンターでと考えていましたが、どうやって行くか悩んでいました。でも、バスの途中下車が可能との事でこちらを上手く活用…したかったのですが、色々あって結局自分達のホテルで降りました。

子供が大きくなったらまた来てあげたいです！

Snorkeling at the coral reef was amazing; I saw a lot of sea turtles and was able to swim right next to them. I was a bit nervous about snorkeling during the pre-briefing, but the time spent was not too long, and we all swam together, so even someone like me, who isn't very confident in swimming, had no problems. It was great that there were plenty of rice balls, snacks, and drinks prepared on the boat.

サンゴ礁のところでのシュノーケリングはウミガメがたくさん見れましたし、すぐ近くで泳ぐこともできました。シュノーケリングは事前説明で少しビビッていましたが、時間もそれほど長くなく、結構皆さんで固まって泳いでいったので、泳ぎにあまり自信がない私でも問題なかったです。船でのおにぎりやお菓子、飲み物など十分用意されていて良かったです。

Captain Alan and Casey were exceptional guides and we had the best time. Captain Alan helped my non swimming husband snorkel and experience we never thought we could have together. We saw so many fish and turtles and the sand bar was beautiful. All the gear was in great condition and the crew was fun and friendly. I would do this again a hundred times over.

On the cruise departing from West Oahu at 1:30 PM, our family was the only Japanese participants. The crew only spoke English.

What was great was that we saw whales quite close right after departure, which was lucky. Of course, it wasn't as spectacular as the photos in the advertisements. The crew was friendly and even spoke to us, taking family photos for us. The views from the boat were also fantastic.

A bit disappointing was that we only saw whales three times in the first 30 minutes of the two-hour cruise, and the rest of the time was spent staring at the ocean surface. Considering that there are times when you might not see any whales, I might be being a bit greedy.

With the mindset that seeing whales is just a bonus, I think it would be perfect to enjoy a leisurely cruise off the coast of West Oahu as long as the weather is good.

西オアフから13時30分発の出航のクルーズで参加者の日本人は私たち家族だけでした。クルーも英語しかしゃべりません。
良かったのは、出発してすぐにかなり近くでクジラが見えたこと、これはラッキーでした。もちろん、広告の写真のようにはいきませんが。また、クルーもフレンドリーで日本人の私たちに声をかけてくれて、家族の写真を撮ってくれました。船上からの景色も最高でした。
少し残念だったのは、クジラが見えたのは2時間のクルーズのうち最初の30分くらいに3回だけで、残りは海面と睨めっこで終わったことでしょうか。クジラが見えないこともあるということを思えば、欲張りかもしれませんが。
クジラは見えればラッキーくらいの気持ちで、のんびり西オアフ島沖のクルーズを楽しむには、天候さえ良ければ最高だと思います。

I participated in mid-February!
It was rainy, but thanks to that, it wasn't too hot, and I was able to look for whales from the deck.

During the ride to the meeting point, the guide talked a lot about the area and sightseeing, making the trip enjoyable.

On the boat, we were served delicious original cake and coffee before departure, which served as a nice breakfast. The original pineapple banana cake was moist and tasty.

During the whale watching, the guide indicated where the whales were based on the direction of the clock, so there was a high probability of seeing whales multiple times.

Not only did we see whales, but we were also lucky enough to see sea turtles up close!

The view from the boat was also amazing, and I was moved by the beauty of Diamond Head and the horizon.

It became a wonderful memory, and I am very satisfied.

2月中旬に参加しました！
雨模様だったのですがそのおかげで暑すぎることなく、デッキでクジラを探すことが出来ました。

お迎えの車中ではガイドさんがエリアや観光についてたくさん話して下さり、移動も楽しかったです。

船では美味しいオリジナルケーキとコーヒーが出港前に食べられるので、朝ごはん代わりになりました。オリジナルのパイナップルバナナケーキはしっとりしてて美味しかったです。

ホエールウォッチングの最中は時計の方向でクジラがどこにいるかを教えてくれるので殆どの確率で何度かクジラを見ることが出来ます。

クジラだけではなくウミガメも近くで見ることが出来たのでとても幸運でした！

そして船上からの景色も素晴らしく、ダイヤモンドヘッドや水平線の美しさに感動しました。

とても素敵な思い出になり、満足です。

Had an amazing trip. Kind and friendly, locally owned and operated. Would highly recommend.

I took TheBus to the meeting point. It was $7 round trip (since it's $7 for unlimited rides in a day). It's necessary to check in advance how to ride TheBus and how to find routes (you can find bus stops using Google). Upon arriving at the meeting point, you will present your voucher (which is sent via email after booking) for check-in.

Once on board, there was an unlimited supply of fruit cake and coffee (though I couldn't eat that much). As for finding whales, the spouts are a good indicator. I witnessed a few spouts, but they rarely appeared above the water. I participated with the image from the last attached photo in mind, but this time we only managed to see the tail fin to some extent during the whale watching.

集合場所にはTheBusで行きました。往復＄7でOKです（一日＄7で乗り放題なので）。TheBusの乗り方や経路（Googleでバス停が案内可能です）の調べ方は事前に確認が必要です。集合場所に到着するとバウチャー（予約完了後にメールで送られる）を提示して受付となります。
乗船後はフルーツケーキやコーヒーなどは食べ放題、飲み放題でした（そんなに食べられませんが）。クジラの探し方としては、潮吹きが目印となります。何回か潮吹きを目撃しましたが、海上に現れることは少なかったです。添付の最後の写真をイメージして参加しましたが、今回は尾びれを確認できる程度のウォッチング結果でした。

I was looking for activities to do in Hawaii with my 3-year-old, and I thought this would be a good option, so I made a reservation.

First, we took a larger boat to the diving point. During the ride, they pointed out things like, "Look, they're doing whale watching over there!" which made the journey enjoyable! We were also lucky to catch a glimpse of a sea turtle. My child had a great time.

Once we were in the submarine, we spent about 45 minutes underwater. While the adults enjoyed it, my active 3-year-old got a bit bored halfway through, and we ended up showing him a video for the last 10 minutes... (laughs)

However, for the first 15 minutes, he was excitedly saying things like, "The fish are waving at me!" I think it was a memorable experience for him since he even reenacted it during bath time when we got home!

Our family is an international marriage family living abroad, so English wasn't an issue for us. The guide was cheerful and shared jokes and interesting facts, which made it enjoyable, but those who are not confident in English might feel a bit left out. I heard that Japanese audio can be downloaded, but it might not always match what the guide is saying.

Overall, I think it was an activity that families with children can enjoy!

今回3歳連れで、ハワイでできるアクティビティを探していて、これはいいんじゃないかなと思って予約しました。

まず潜水ポイントまで、大きめの船で行きます。その時にも、結構「あそこでクジラウォッチングやってるよ、ほらあの方向」とか結構教えてくれて、その道のりも楽しみました！海亀もチラッと見えてとてもラッキーでした。子供もとても楽しんでいました。

潜水艦に潜ってからは45分ほど。大人は楽しめるのですが、うちの3歳動きたい坊やは途中でちょっと飽きてしまって、残り10半のところでビデオを見せることになってしまいました、、笑

でも初めの15分は「お魚さんが手振ってるー」とか言って楽しんでいる様子でした。
家に帰ってからもそれをお風呂で再現したりしているので、きっと心に残った経験だったんだろうなと思っています！

我が家は国際結婚ファミリーで、海外在住なので英語は問題なかったのですが、ガイドが陽気な方で、ジョークをとばしたりうんちくを言ってくれるので、楽しめましたが英語が苦手な方は置いてけぼり感があるかもしれません。日本語オーディオがダウンロードできるとのことでしたが、ガイドが話していることとは必ずしも一致しないと思います。

総じて、子連れで楽しめるアクティビティだったと思います！

Fabulous show, chief was hilarious as always, and the family loved it! Will come back again!

the bus guides are great to keep you interested during the ride, making it a full around tour

We had a large group, and this was easiest way for us to not have to figure out reservation. Just perfect time for hiking as well!

Great way to start the year, we wish we were back in Hawaii listening to the wonderful local music!
