I participated on July 20, 2023.
The wind was a bit strong, but the weather was clear, and I thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at the sandbar and Half Moon Reef.
The sandbar was shallow enough to reach my knees, and I had fun taking photos and practicing snorkeling. The water clarity was amazing.
The BBQ hamburger lunch was incredibly delicious, and as expected, American hamburgers are exceptional.
While snorkeling at Half Moon Reef, I was able to see many beautiful fish around the coral reef.

Hawaii should be proud of the information given for the Polynesian culture. It was very enlightening and entertaining. I'd recommend this luau to anyone who is visiting the island. There is almost no support in Japanese. We participated as a family with children, but since we couldn't understand English, the kids got bored. I wouldn't recommend it if you can't speak English. Unless you really want to see the dance here, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and there was a show available for about the same price, so I regretted not going there as it would have saved us travel time.

Many places offer optional tours, but I booked with Veltra because they were cheaper due to a campaign. I've been on the Star of Honolulu multiple times, but it was my son's first experience, so I made the reservation.

There was a hurricane approaching the Big Island, so the boat swayed a bit. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks, but due to the rocking of the boat, I felt a bit nauseous halfway through.

It was quite pricey, but dining on a course meal in downtown Honolulu would cost about the same, so I recommend it. However, after arriving, we were shown to our seats, and even though there were empty seats, we could only see the dancers' backs from our seats behind the show.

When you book with Veltra, a night view tour is included for free, but it was disappointing that the local tour was not conducted. I wish they had planned an alternative tour.

　なかなかのお値段でしたがホノルルの街中でコース料理を食べても同じ位の高値なのでおすすめです。ただ着いてから席に案内されるのですが席が空いているのに、ショーの後ろ隣の席でダンサーの後ろ姿しか見れませんでした。
　ベルトラさんで申し込みすると夜景のツアーが無料で付いてくるのですが現地ツアーの催行が無く残念でした。代替ツアーを計画してくれれば良かったのに。

We used the sunset cruise the day after our arrival in Hawaii. To sum it up in one word, I highly recommend it!

As it was our honeymoon, we considered dining at a restaurant in Waikiki with the whole family, but due to the weak yen and tips, the prices were quite high, which made us hesitate.

At that time, I remembered the Star of Honolulu, which we had boarded for whale watching before, and decided to try the sunset dinner cruise this time. This was a great decision!

Before departure, we were welcomed with hula, and we received non-alcoholic sparkling drinks for toasting, along with two drinks, a whole lobster, and an American steak. While it wasn't a quiet seat like a high-end restaurant, the Hawaiian live music and jazz performances were enjoyable, and the experience was worth the price, leaving us satisfied.

The cruise went by in a flash, and in the end, the crew really got everyone excited, making it truly fun. We are talking about wanting to go on the dinner cruise during the fireworks on Friday next time.

There are a lot of amazing reviews, but I didn't find it to be that great.

Reason 1: "The boat is too small, and there isn't enough space to change or sit." Since this is a quite profitable tour, I wish they would use a bigger and more functional boat. Even when it starts to rain, if there are many customers, there isn't enough space for everyone to get under the roof.

Reason 2: "They don't lend wetsuits." Since we swim in quite deep water, I think they should provide wetsuits for safety. However, as mentioned earlier, the boat is small and there are no showers. Improvements are needed for both the boat itself and safety management.

The hamburger was similar to Mos Burger. It was tasty, but it felt pretty average.

The bus, like others have mentioned in their reviews, was cold. It would be nice if we could take our time changing on the boat, but the boat's restroom is cramped, making it difficult to change. There are no showers on the boat either.

The time we could swim was not very long. We saw turtles, but there weren't many fish. The sandbar wasn't as heavenly as one might expect, and it wasn't that stunningly beautiful.

Reason 3: The timing is too late. If they departed earlier, I think there would be more fish, but we arrive at the sandbar close to noon, so I believe the timing is too late. By the time we start snorkeling, the sea has already begun to get murky. It would be better to leave around 7 AM.

泳いでられる時間もそんなに長くない。亀はみれたけど、魚もそんなにいなかった。サンドバーも天国といえるほどではなく、そんなに感動的なほどきれいでもない。

その3　時間帯が遅すぎる。
もっと早い時間帯に出発すれば、魚もいるんじゃないかと思うけど、正午近くにサンドバーに着くので、これも時間設定が遅すぎると思う。シュノーケリングするころには、既に海はにごりはじめている。
７時とか出発にすれば良いんじゃないか。

ガイドさん（？）は、日本人の女性がとても親切でしたが、最初から最後までビキニで、「なんでかな？」と思いました。スタッフの外国人の女性もひもパンでした。スタイル良いけど、ずっとビキニでいる必要はないのでは・・・（特に船上）。ビキニスタイルもサービスの一環なのかな？　大変ですね。

We made a last-minute reservation in Japan for dinner on the day we arrived in Hawaii. In a word, it was amazing!! We chose the buffet, which included desserts and had plenty of food!! We were lucky to have a window seat! During sunset, we were free to get up from our seats, so we took a lot of photos and enjoyed watching Hawaiian dances while eating. The sunset was beautiful, and we could see Diamond Head, making it a wonderful memory!! We also made friends with the overseas guests at the next table, which made for a fun time!! I highly recommend this tour if you come to Hawaii!!

The pick-up and drop-off were easy to understand, and boarding and disembarking at the port were smooth. However, the explanations in Japanese were limited to what was written in the menu, and all announcements on the ship were in English, so I think it would be fine for those with a certain level of language skills or those who are not concerned about that.

The buffet was sufficient in both quantity and taste. Enjoying the sunset on the deck while feeling the breeze was very pleasant, and the view of Diamond Head and the streets of Waikiki from the sea was wonderful.

We had such a great time on this snorkeling trip! It was very planned, the crew was polite, accommodating and very friendly and the lunch was delicious. Our whole experience was incredibly enjoyable. Word of advice to the future participants- listen carefully to the instructions before snorkeling and you’ll see a lot under the water. We saw many fish and a turtle. It was amazing!

I was satisfied with the deliciousness of the food. The lobster, in particular, was excellent! It was great that the staff cut it into easy-to-eat pieces. My elderly mother was also very happy and was thrilled with the commemorative photo with her grandchild, where they were embracing each other.

I was worried about seasickness, but I hardly felt any rocking, and the women's restroom was clean and well-maintained.

The show was impressive, and it was fun to end with the YMCA dance. When we disembarked, it was raining, and it was difficult to get to the bus at the front. I received several emails from Veltra and the operating company informing me of the early morning meeting time, stating "Meet at Honolulu Airport at 5:30." However, the day before, I received a short message saying, "Meet at 5:00!" When I arrived in Honolulu and spoke during the reconfirmation call, I was told it was 5:30, but shortly after, I was told it was 5:00, so I hurriedly called back.

The office was supposed to be available for calls until 14:30, so I planned to confirm at 2:17, but no one answered the phone. With no other options, I decided to leave my hotel in Honolulu at 4:30 to match the earlier meeting time. I thought it was different from the voucher I received, but in the end, it seemed that 5:30 was fine. I suspect there was a typo in the short message, but I wish they had confirmed before sending it. It was very frustrating.

As for the Kauai Island tour, the driver and guide's fun personality allowed all 12 participants to have a great time throughout. Both the sightseeing and lunch exceeded my expectations. We were the only Japanese couple, but there was an international atmosphere with participants from various places. I highly recommend this tour if you're going to Kauai Island!

観光も、お昼ご飯も、期待以上に満足できました。
日本人は私たち夫婦だけでしたが、色々なところから集まったインターナショナルな雰囲気でした。
カウアイ島へ行くならこのツアーがおすすめです♪

It is a memorable day for us, we went to Arizona memorial, bowfin submarine in the morning, we had lunch at the hangers, then visited the battleship. We don’t need to worry about the tickets, shuttle and lunch, all have been arranged well, we have enough time to visit everywhere we like, I highly recommend the trip.

The Polynesian show is very impressive，all the staff on board are nice, because of the weather we didn’t saw the beautiful sunset, but we saw the rainbow. we did not like food, anyhow it is a nice journey !

I don't understand much Japanese, but I had a great time. It felt a bit reassuring that they seemed to seat other Japanese guests next to me. Everyone was a cheerful crew, and we ended up getting excited with the song "YMCA."

First of all, we passed Hanauma Bay and stopped at the Lanai Lookout, which was an unexpected bonus that I wouldn't have ever seen, being on a work trip with a very brief window to go out on a Sunday. I'm very grateful to him for a joyful trip, the extra stop (thank you!!!!!), and the information he shared en route to Hanauma Bay, about where different creatures may be seen, areas of the bay, types of fish, and even local characters (yes, fish). One of the fish characters (I think a Humuhumu? but I could be wrong) was described as a chihuahua who will pester you if you cross paths, LOL! The bay is simply some of the most beautiful water and fish I've ever snorkeled in the company of. Just incredible. 11/10. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I was surprised that the seats were more cramped than I expected, but the live performance made the time fly by. It's better to go with an empty stomach since the main course was served before departure! I mentioned my nut allergy twice, once when making the reservation and again on the day, but the macadamia nut gelato was served as is, so those with allergies should be careful. I boarded on Friday, and we were lucky with the weather, so we were able to see the fireworks. Although Japanese is not spoken, dancing to the YMCA with everyone was fun. There were also people who got married on that day, which was a heartwarming end to the trip. It became a wonderful travel memory!

思ったより席がぎゅうぎゅうでびっくりしましたが、生ライブもありあっという間の時間でした。出航する前にメイン料理まで出てきたのでお腹を空かせて行ったほうがいいです！ナッツアレルギーだと事前の予約時と当日の2回伝えたのですが、食後のマカダミアナッツジェラートはそのまま出てきたので、アレルギーをお持ちの方はお気をつけください。金曜日に乗船し、天候にも恵まれたので花火も見ることができました。日本語は通じませんが、みんなで踊るYMCAも楽しかったです。当日入籍した方も乗船してて最後はほっこり。とても良い旅の思い出になりました！

A rainbow appeared over Diamond Head, and the view from the deck was amazing. The lobster was delicious. I wish there had been a few more dishes that were easy for kids to eat.
