Glad that we chose this tour. Captain and the crew were super helpful throughout the trip. They know the best spots for snorkeling and of sandbar. They went beyond and helped me learn snorkeling. Would definitely book this tour again whenever we want to go to sandbar.

Chief's Luau - Polynesian Show & Dinner Buffet with Authentic Award-Winning Fire Knife Dancing
Great fun, lively and interactive show.

The food was pretty good. Much better than a couple other luau’s that I have been to in the area. They offered a plate with a little of everything or you could go through the line and pick only what you wanted. They had pulled pork, fried chicken, fried fish, salad, rice, asian noodles, cooked taro root, rolls and for dessert white cake with white frosting and pineapple chunks. They offered individually packaged condiments of ranch dressing, Tabasco sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, butter, as well as small cups of poi and pico de gallo.
We had the royal package and had great seats. The seating was set up in tables of 4. My husband sat side by side and another couple sat on the other side of the table. We had another table of 4 right next to us. The Covid seating restrictions have been relaxed significantly as of June 21st when we went.
The royal package benefits that the paradise didn’t get is drink service at the tables (paradise have to walk to bar), 3 free drinks, fresh orchid lei (paradise get nut lei), closer seating to stage, first to go to buffet.

It was indeed an outstanding experience doing this sunset dinner cruise with Star of Honolulu. We super enjoyed the 5-course dinner, the overflowing cocktails, the champagne and most of all the live music and cultural dances. You even made the journey more easy with your smooth pick up and drop off. All the staff were great as well! Special mention to Manager Rose for an excellent service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be booking with you again when we come back. Aloha and Mahalo❤️

I was able to book a couple days in advance. It turned out tobe one of the most enjoyable days in oahu!! The staff made sure both my mom and I were comfortable the entire time. Mike checked in with us throughout the day and spent extra time showing my mom the basics of snorkeling. The lunch was fantastic too! I recommend this as a must do. If you want to see sea turtles and experience a beautiful sandbar with amazing views do this excursion. You won't be disappointed!!!

Everything was just amazing. Worth every single penny. The crew was so attentive, detailed, helpful, caring, and so much fun! I was the only one with kiddos and pregnant and they checked in on us constantly and helped without asking. Food was amazing. Loved everything about it!

We had such a great experience on this tour! Our driver was awesome. He was super helpful and explained all the changes due to COVID. They had our numbers on the list in case they needed to call us to make sure we got back on the bus. The city tour was just a quick drive by and no getting off the bus. It was the perfect amount of time to view everything. 2 hours was plenty of time for the memorial as well as the two museums available.

Went on captain bobs back in 2016 when I visited Hawaii and I just had to take my party this time around. Definitely will recommend to everyone I know and will be sure to book captain bobs again on my next trip to Oahu!

I loved the crew and the whole vibe the Cruise offered!! We had beautiful music playing and the sunset was gorgeous! If you’re looking for one of the best evenings you’ll have in Oahu, book this cruise without any reservations. It was easy to find. There’s a direct bus that goes from the Waikiki area and lands you on the basin where you’ll find your catamaran docked! Do it!

I can not recommend this enough!! If you are on Oahu it is worth the trip to Waimea Valley. This was my family & I's absolute favorite thing we did in Hawaii! It was incredibly personable, authentic, and overall an amazing luau. They were all very nice and made a point to come to every table and talk with all of the guests. They even went above and beyond by helping the table next to us and walking their baby around in the stroller so that they could eat their dinner. Everyone was in awe at how amazing the crew made this experience for everyone. They were truly enjoying teaching everyone about the Polynesian culture from the Polynesian Islands, and it made the experience that much better. Can not recommend enough! GO GO GO!

Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort
Isiah made us at home. Jansen is anexcellent driver! When the food was served, we were treated with an authentic, honest to goodness Hawaiian luau! The performance by the house folk group was astounding! A 5 star experience!

This luau had some really good food. The drinks were ok but could be better. I had gone to a different luau and had our own table so when they told we're sitting with others I was surprised but wasn’t bad. Also the benches could use some cushion. By the time the show started my butt was already hurting.
Aloha Grisel, So happy that you enjoyed our Hawaiian/American buffet, local style. I'm not sure how many were in your party, but once the covid guidelines were altered, it allowed us to seat at least 10 ppl at a table with a little distance between parties. So sorry the picnic style benches weren't so comfortable, but it's difficult to have cushioned tables out there on the beach exposed to the heat and sunshine all day, especially since we don't have a covering overhead. The picnic tables were chosen so that people might have that kind of backyard style BBQ with family feeling in mind when they think of a luau on the beach, and because regular tables just weren't stable in the sand. The experience was far better then we could have imagined. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone was so nice and did a great job at guiding and explaining everything. You truly get to enjoy every moment and not feel rushed. We were super surprised we got to see so many sea turtles, we were not expecting to see any so that was such a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this tour.

Did the V.I.P table for my father’s Birthday and the whole family had a blast definitely would suggest booking the VIP because of the drink service and food service brought to you. It also includes a picture for every adult in your group.
