Germaine's Luau - Fun Backyard Style Luau with Dinner, Show & Fire-Knife Dance

This is my first Luau in Hawaii and my boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed it! The location was spot on. We loved the location, since it was in front of the beach. The venue gave us a tropical vibe. When it came to the food I wasn't too sure if I would enjoy the kalua very much because I am not a porky person. However, after seeing my boyfriend eat the kalua I gave in and tried it myself. Surprisingly it was quite delicious! Too be honest, the food at Germaine's was spot on! Despite the salad, I wasn't to fond of it. Other than that, it sort of reminds me of L&L's lol. I love the idea of giving each person a ticket for one free drink, I thought that was a nice gesture. My favorite part of the evening was the fireshow and the show's overall! The dancers, story, history, and the people were all beautiful. My only wish was that their were more males show haha. I mean, I love the hula girls but where are the mens! Overall, I will definitely come back here with my friends and families..venue, food, and the experience did not disappoint at all. Thank you Germaine's for your great hospitality! Aloha, Cece

We had 8 people in our party for the sunset cruise. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. From the captain, the crew and the boat. The views were amazing, the cruise lasted just about 2 hours. The crew really made the entire trip. They were fun, attentive and interactive. The boat had just the right amount of people on it so it didn’t feel crowded. They served food in containers so everything was very sanitary. The cruise comes with 2 free drinks, but if you are generous with your bartender they might just be generous back! It was a great time and I highly recommend this as part of your Waikiki visit.

I am a widow and did this experience with my three sons - ages 24,23 and 15 .. might never happen again …as they grow older and probably have their own families .. wishing I could do it again with them.. fortunately, they enjoyed the sail and asked me when again (I had in my heart a leap of joy ) .. cause the sail was smooth and fun out the sea with lively music, some laughters when the water splashed towards us ( we were seated at the front right side of the boat) didn’t expect that to happen and got soaking wet, basking in the sun, watching the dolphins play (this was truly awesome !) and taking sunset photos. I highly recommend Moana Waikiki .. the crew was friendly and this pretty and amiable lady was going around asking if we need anything and volunteering to take photos of us - it was highly appreciated! We had so much fun! Lovely and beautiful memories to treasure!

Kualoa Ranch Private Beach at Secret Island - Kayak, SUP, Volleyball & More

We had a great time on secret island. We were running late for our scheduled time and they allowed us to reschedule. We felt it was cost effective since we had access to chairs, stand up paddle boards, and Kayaks. Overall, we would recommend.

Royal Star Pearl Harbor Experience with Tickets to Arizona Memorial & City Tour

Excellent City Tour and Pearl Harbor visit, especially with Tony as the escort. We had a timely pick-up, and learned a lot about the history of Honolulu and the island of Oahu in general. Tony was not only informative, but humorous and personable. He provided great tips on how to navigate the Pearl Harbor tour. Highly recommend!

We had so much fun on the Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails! The crew offered great service along with upbeat music and a great vibe. Our sailing occurred on a bit of a rainy afternoon, however the captain did a great job navigating us away from the rain. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with enjoying cocktails and food. I couldn't recommend Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails more!

From start to end this was a great day on the water! We had a great crew that operated the sandbar excursion flawlessly. On our day we had a bit of rain, however this did not prevent anyone from having fun. The food was great as well as the bar service. We had a great time at the Polynesian Cultural Center at all the villages. Having never been there, on the first day, we were not watching the time and when we realized the villages all closed at 5:30.. I think its wonderful to allow the guests to use the tickets for up to three days since the first day. This gave us the opportunity to return and enter the rest of the villages that we didn't have time to see on the first day. We were bummed that the luau, buffet and show were all sold out on both days.

Polynesian Cultural Center Admission Ticket with 6 Island Villages & Canoe Ride

What a fantastic way to learn about the various Polynesian cultures in and around Hawaii. Everyone was friendly. The different areas had different shows to share their culture. Most of the employees are college students from the different Polynesian areas and families. Due to Covid restrictions and timing, we were not able to attend a luau. When we return to Hawaii we will go here again (it is hard to fit it all in, in a day) and also do the luau. This was the best money we spent on the island. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! We prepurchased entry with the Veltra passes and it worked great. Moved right to the front of the line and no worries about getting in.

I was skeptical at first booking from an online site but I'm glad I did! Although we went for the cheaper route our seats were great! Check in was a breeze. No issues getting in. I heard a lot of positive reviews from this luau, unfortunately bc of covid some of the activities I was looking forward to were not available. Still a good show! Would book with them again

AMAZING TRIP!! Definitely worth it!!

We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.
Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.
Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.
Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.
Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!

The Deluxe Pearl Harbor tour is a must do trip if you're visiting Oahu! The tour seems long but we actually could have easily stayed even longer. Our tour guide Patrick was fantastic and very informative as we drove up to Punchbowl Crater, the cemetery and around Honolulu. We will definitely take this tour next time we visit.

We loved this snorkel experience from beginning to end! The staff was friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable with the ocean, fish and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.

We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!

I applaud the crew of young people, however they were too laid back & very unprofessional. “Dinner” was just a takeout tray of food. How am I expected to eat while I bob up and down on the ocean. Table, uhhh NO…The crew was more concerned with their good time & conversation. The ship was beautiful, the view was lovely but definitely not worth what I paid. I did the same sail for $50 minus the “dinner”.

Aloha Cece, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our family luau. I'm happy you took the chance and tried our "Kalua" or roasted pig, that was cooked traditional way in our underground oven, called an "Imu". It does have a different taste when it's cooked that way. Our salad is made real "local" style, usually macaroni & potato together, and similar to L&L but glad you enjoyed everything else overall. We have added a few more male dancers, as several of our male dancers are also in the Military reserves so not always available. We hope you will return one day and visit us again!!
