After the COVID-19 pandemic, during my long-awaited trip to Hawaii, I consulted with a major Japanese travel agency's Waikiki tour desk, but they had no offerings. The Japanese tour desks that were available locally were all out of service, and I was about to give up. However, I contacted Veltra online from my hotel in Waikiki and completed my reservation, allowing me to enjoy a helicopter tour without any issues.

The local staff at the helicopter tour desk were friendly and helpful, and even with my zero English skills, I was able to enjoy a tour of Oahu without any problems.

I will continue to use this service in the future.

I have participated in sandbar tours several times before, but this tour was the most enjoyable so far because, in addition to snorkeling, there were various activities available such as stand-up paddleboarding, balls, and large floaties, which kept things fun and engaging. The staff were also bright and accommodating, making an effort to entertain us. However, one point to note is that all the explanations were in English only, so if the key points could have been communicated in Japanese as well, it would have made those who are not proficient in English feel more at ease.

今までサンドバーツアーには何回か参加したことがありますが、今回のツアーはシュノーケリング以外にも、サップボードやボール、大きな浮き輪等色々な遊び遠具が用意されていて、飽きずに楽しめ、今までで一番楽しかったです。
スタッフの方々も楽しませてくれようと明るく対応してくれました。
ただ一点、説明が全て英語のみでしたので、ポイントだけでも日本語で伝えていただけたら、英語が得意でない人も、より安心できたと思いました。

A super fun adventure!

It was myself and my 17 and 16 year old sons. The tour guides on the trail at the ranch were really nice and informative. So cool to ride through the ranch, up the mountain and overlook the water. Beauty every where you looked. Also, the scenes were movies were filmed was fun to see.
You do get dirty - it was very dry when we went so lots of dust. If it’s wet I image you’re covered in mud. They give you goggles and buffs to cover your nose and mouth. You need them! Another reviewer suggested to bring wipes to wash your face afterwards- solid advice. We did that to get some of the dirt off our faces. Plenty more came off in the shower. Haha
The bus to/ from was comfortable and clean. Only not so great thing I can say is there was a very long wait time from when we arrived at the ranch until our scheduled tour started. Had I known that I maybe would have rented a car and drove up on our own. Price would have been Equivalent, and plenty of other places to stop in along the way. All in all it was a great adventure and I definitely recommend it!

This was so much fun!!! You definitely get super dirty but it is so worth it! You get to see so much of the ranch and the different valleys! We had Jessica as one of our tour guides and she was awesome! She did a lot of fun things with the group to make the experience more fun! If you love Jurassic World, you will love being able to see some cool things from the movie. Definitely a fantastic experience!

The pre-show activities ? None of those happened.
I was really looking forward to experience their culture but NO. When we got there, we were welcomed (speech and all that) then lined up for food and drinks then the show started.

I paid for a VIP royal package expecting my experience will be smooth… The only distinction between VIP and non VIP is the table arrangement and priority line for food but doesn’t apply if you wanna get drinks… which was very inconvenient.

Bottom line, I didn’t get my money’s worth.

The cruise ship was large, with many tables arranged inside and a small stage as well. We were guided to our seats by the staff. While we were on our way to the sandbar, we enjoyed lovely music played with a ukulele, guitar, and singing.

The water level at the sandbar changes with the tides, so if you have the time, it might be a good idea to check the tide conditions in advance. We signed up at the last minute, so we didn’t check beforehand, but on the morning of our visit, the water level was about waist-deep. In some areas, it was deep enough to reach shoulder height, but even so, the clear water was beautifully colored and truly stunning.

You can freely enjoy SUP, kayaking, and snorkeling. However, there are a limited number of SUPs and kayaks, so if others are using them and they are not available, you may have to wait. We tried SUP for the first time, and it was a bit difficult to balance, and with the ocean current, it was quite challenging to go in the direction we intended. But it was a lot of fun.

One thing to be careful about is the red buoys, which indicate where you should not go beyond. If you get too close, we were told to sit down and paddle back on the SUP or to get out and walk back if you were in a kayak.

For snorkeling, we swam in an area with coral reefs, and since the water was shallow, we were able to see the fish up close. They were so beautiful that we could have watched them for a long time.

The lounge floating on the sea was also a photogenic spot. At the sandbar, you can spend your time freely until it's time to go, so when we got cold, we returned to the ship to wrap ourselves in towels and enjoyed some orange juice and donuts.

There was one men's restroom and two women's restrooms on board, which was convenient. All the staff members were bright, cheerful, and wonderful people. There was also one Japanese staff member, so I think you don’t have to worry if you're anxious about your English.

On the way back, we left the sandbar while listening to music and returned to the port. It became a very lovely memory. We had so much fun. Thank you, everyone!

シュノーケリングでは、珊瑚礁がある場所で泳ぎましたが、こちらも水深が浅いので、近くで魚たちを見ることができました。とてもきれいで、ずっと見ていられるくらいでした。
海に浮かぶラウンジもフォトジェニックな場所でした。
サンドバーでは時間まで自由に過ごすことができるので、体が冷えたら船内に戻ってタオルにくるまったり、オレンジジュースやドーナツをいただいたりしました。
船内に男子トイレは1つ、女子トイレは2つあったので、トイレに行けるのもよかったです。
スタッフのみなさんが明るく陽気で素敵な方ばかりでした。また、日本人のスタッフさんも1人いらっしゃったので、英語に不安があっても心配いらないと思います。
帰りも音楽を聞きながらサンドバーをあとにし、港へ戻りました。
とても素敵な思い出になりました。すごく楽しかったです。みなさん、ありがとうございました。

The entire experience was wonderful, especially the captain and crew. The food and drinks were great as well. My only complaint is that I wish our time at the sandbar was longer! We spent a good while at the snorkeling reef, but I wish our time at the sandbar was equal in length. 10/10 recommend!!

Our first stop was to see city sights and he allowed us time for pictures along with him taking our group pictures. The battleship was fascinating and of course Pearl Harbour was very touching. It's a two-hour ride through the fields and mountains of Kualoa.

For safety, you will wear a helmet, goggles, and a take-home Kualoa-patterned cloth mask. This is because you'll be kicking up sand and dust for two hours. Our family of four shared one vehicle. The driver must have a valid driver's license. If there is no licensed driver, a Kualoa instructor will drive for you.

There are breaks at key points where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos, and explore movie set locations—it's a packed two hours. After the activity, when you look in the mirror, you'll be covered in dust, and you'll end up laughing as you look at each other. That's the vibe.

Since it's hot, please bring plenty of water.

I highly recommend it.

We had such a unique experience going to the SandBar. It was like having our own little beach area. They provided lunch in our package. Live music was played during our boat ride there and back. They provided kayaks, paddle boards, life vests and snorkel gear. They were a fun crew and i can tell they enjoy working together. They were eager to help teach about Hawaiian culture and boat safety. It was one of the trip highlights and i would highly recommend to anyone to do it. Just be mindful of the tide as certain times the tide can be very high to your chest or low to your knees.

My family and I really enjoyed this experience. It was something that could be enjoyed by everybody, those more adventurous or for those who wanted to “chill.” The sandbar they took us to was a beautiful place and the snorkeling location was awesome. We saw different fish and even had a surreal experience swimming by sea turtles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
