Since I had previously participated in a tour around Oahu, I chose this tour because it was different. While most tours cover similar areas, the destinations vary, and this tour focused more on trying local food, in addition to the stunning ocean views. However, even though it was a tasting experience, there was no pressure to make purchases, which was reassuring.

Also, the guide this time was an elderly Japanese man with quite a unique personality, so it might not suit everyone, but I think those who are less concerned about such things will enjoy it more.

以前にオアフ島１周するツアーにも参加したことがあるため、今回は違ったツアーということでこのツアーを選びました。どのツアーもだいたい同じところを走るのですが、訪問先が異なり、今回のツアーは、海の絶景もさることながら、どちらかというとローカルフードが試食できるのがメインのツアーでした。ただ、試食といっても、無理に購入させられることはなかったので、そのあたりは安心です。
あと、今回のガイドさんは日本人の高齢の方で、かなり癖がある方でしたので、合う合わないはあるかもしれませんが、あまり気にしない方が楽しめると思いました。

I was able to visit various places and try a little bit of different foods, which was great. The guide provided information about the tourist spots and the surroundings, which was very helpful. The driver-guide took care of 13 people by himself, and even though I participated alone, I had a lot of fun.

色々と周れて、色々と食べれてちょっとづつの試食もありますが良かったです。
観光地や通りすがりに、ここはどんなとこだとか色々と話してくれて参考になりました。

On the day of the tour, the pickup arrived on time. I shared the ride with people from Japan and likely the United States, and we listened to the explanations from our guide, who spoke fluent Japanese. We were taken to various places, including the beautiful sea that seemed to stretch endlessly, a villa owned by a celebrity, sea turtles and seals that came close to the sandy beach, and, most importantly, the food that I tried for the first time. It was a long tour of about nine hours, but it was an enjoyable experience without feeling tired.

It had been over 10 years since my last visit to Hawaii, and I have a few thoughts to share for those planning to go.

- The satisfaction of the tour can greatly vary depending on the guide. This is purely a matter of luck, but in my case, we had two buses, one with a guide and a driver, while the other had the driver also acting as the guide. There was a speaker located at the front, and if you were sitting in the back, you couldn't hear what was being said. The driver was a native Japanese person, but he spoke quickly and wasn't very articulate, making it hard to hear. Others also mentioned it was difficult to understand, but he said, "I have a lot to talk about, so I have to speak at this speed. This is normal for my hometown. Where are you from? Ah, in your area, people speak slowly," which came off as condescending without any sign of improvement. It was hard to hear until the end. Moreover, he insisted on a tip of around a certain percentage, saying it was fine if it was less, which felt like pressure. Not being able to hear was stressful, so if you end up with this guide, aim for a seat at the front.

- The ocean view is on the right side of the bus. There are many coastal drives, and the left side is just mountains, which isn't enjoyable at all. If you're participating, please make sure to secure a seat on the right side.

Other itineraries and scenery were mostly the same as everyone else's. Personally, I found Haleiwa to be the most boring. There were too many people, and the long lines meant I couldn't enter any shops during the allotted time. The ocean views were very beautiful. I hope this information is helpful!

・その日のガイドさんによりツアーの満足度は大きく変わる。
こればかりは運ですが、
私のところはバス２台で、片方はガイドさん運転手さんの二人体制、こちらは運転手さんがガイドを兼用してました。
スピーカー？が前方席のところにあり、後方に座ってると何を言ってるのか聞こえません。
運転手の方は生粋の日本人でしたが早口で滑舌もそこまでよくないので、聞こえにくいと他の方も言ってましたが「これくらいのスピードでしゃべらないと話すことが沢山あるので。私の出身地ではこれくらいが普通です。どこ出身ですか？‥あぁ、○○地方はゆっくりですからね」と悪びれる様子も改善もなく逆にお客さんをバカにするような発言。最後まで聞きづらかったです。
しかも、最後にチップは○%くらいですね、まぁそれ以下でも構いませんが、とチップ額を強制してくる始末。
聞こえないのはストレスになるので、もしこのガイドさんに当たったときに備えて前方席を狙ってください。

・海側は進行方向右の席
海沿いのドライブが多く、左側は山ばかりで全然楽しくない。
参加される方は何としても右側を死守してください。

他の行程や景色などは大方皆さんと同じです。
個人的にはハレイワが一番つまんなかったです。人が多すぎて大行列で散策時間内ではお店に入れなかったです。
海の景色はとてもきれいでした。

With a four-day free plan, you might even end up with a day where you have nothing to do. For those people, the one-day sightseeing plan on Oahu is perfect. A guide who also drives a microbus will take you to various places. Additionally, this plan is for a small group, so you won't have to worry much about others. Since the trolley is open, it's best to avoid it on rainy or cold days. Unless you have the budget to tour by taxi, I highly recommend this plan.

The Oahu Island tour was perfect for seeing a lot of the island. I appreciated that the group was smaller than some of the other tour companies we saw riding around- it allowed us to have a more personal experience. Our tour guide, John, was a wealth of knowledge about the island, its history, and its residents, and I enjoyed spending the day with him! John’s trained eye also helped us find turtles during our stop, which was a huge help! This tour was a good mix of everything - from local food to breathtaking views. I would recommend this tour be one of your first stops on your visit to Oahu, as there are many things you see along your drive that you may want to revisit during your trip (and your guide can help you determine which ones are worth your money!)

There was a bit of an internal mistake with the tour company, and the guide seemed to have a tough time, but the participants were able to enjoy themselves.

I participated alone, but it was more efficient to visit various places compared to going around on The Bus, and the meals along the way were lively and fun. The group activities during my solo trip to Hawaii were enjoyable.

I also appreciate the service spirit of the female driver.

Our tour guide “D” was so friendly, kind, informative, and very considerate. We had many stops for different tastes of Hawaii. The tasting started with Malasadas from the Leonard’s food truck. We also stopped at a macadamia nut farm that also had this sweet little pearl shop where I bought gifts for my daughters and myself. The best part for me was when we stopped at a beach to try and see turtles and my family did spot some playful ones! We stopped and had garlic shrimp for lunch which was delicious and filling and we ended the day shopping in Haleiwa Town. I think we stopped at like 3 beaches and the Blowhole. It was a whirlwind and a little taste of everything!

We booked this tour for the day before we left for home .
The trip and the wealth of knowledge Brandon imparted was so good we really did wish we had booked it at the very start of our trip so we could take advantage of all the tips and suggestions he made to maximise our experience whilst visiting the island .
Every stop we made added to our fabulous experience of the island . My only wish having now taken the tour was to have the bus stop on the north shore for 15 mins maybe to fully experience the fabulous waves we only saw from the bus window ..
Brandon was a wealth of knowledge and kept the bus engaged at all times .

This was the best circle island tour I could’ve had. Our bus driver, Lola, was fabulous. There were six of us on this tour, grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. We all very much enjoyed the tour and all of the Hawaiian history that Lola presented. We saw the best of the island (Oahu), and she got us in and out of places before they were overcrowded. We had plenty of time at all stops and never felt rushed. I could not have asked for a better experience for my family on their first trip to Oahu. I’m highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a full day’s tour. Sure, you can drive it yourself, but you’ll never get the full experience of hearing the history and stories from someone who actually lives on the island. Do yourself a favor and take this tour.

We were picked up by Dan. He is a very informative guide. After picking up everyone we preceeded to do our tour. At our first stop he served us a purple dount and water. We visited 12 places and stopped at 6 places. Just before we hit each place he gave us a lot of information plus we got to watch a video. The bus was air conditioned and had a bathroom on board. It was worth the 9 hours. We got to see some amazing sites and got to see most of Oahu.

The Dole farm and factory were a lot of fun. The ocean was beautiful as well. For lunch, a sandwich lunch box was provided. No Japanese guidebook was handed out. However, at the Dole plantation, there was a staff member who spoke Japanese and explained important parts in Japanese (it might have been a coincidence). Additionally, the guide could speak some Japanese, so there were times when they communicated using Japanese words. During the transfers, the guide explained various things about Hawaii in English. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand most of the explanations, but I still enjoyed each of the places we visited.

ドールの農場も工場もとても楽しかったです．海もきれいでした．お昼はサンドイッチのランチBOXが配布されました．
日本語の案内書は渡されませんでした．しかし，（偶然かもしれませんが）ドール農園では，日本語を話せるスタッフの方が同行してくださり，重要な部分を日本語で説明してくださいました．また，ガイドさんも多少日本語が話せる方でしたので，日本語の単語でコミュニケーションを取ってくださることもありました．
移動中はガイドさんが，英語でハワイの様々なことを説明してくださいます．

We had a great time with John!!! He knew so much about the island! we even got to see Jackie Chans, President Obamas and Bill Gates homes! It was so obvious that he is so passionate about the history of the island. He was so eager to teach us everything!
The food was spectacular, and the sites were breathtaking, but having a tour guide as passionate as John was the icing in the cake!
Guests- please be respectful when the guide is talking and keep your chatter at a minimum.

It was an amazing day! I was lucky to see both seals and turtles. It was a rare experience to enjoy food unique to Hawaii. The garlic shrimp was incredibly delicious! Although I participated alone, I was grateful that Kanako talked to me a lot. It was a meaningful day with many conversations! Thank you, Takashi, for the poetry recitation!

I had the best time on this tour. Our tour guide was amazing he was the best. The waterfall was awesome to swim in but you had to walk at least 30 min to get there which was not a bad hike at all. The scenery was beautiful and I even got a glimpse of a peacoke. The tour paid for coffee breakfast and lunch which was delicious. After the hike we went to Dole Plantation for dole whip which is pineapple ice cream.
