Great tour Kenn was a great tour guide. just wished that diamond head was actually diamond head crater instead its diamond head beach.
if you plan on not having a car in Honolulu this tour shows you the whole island where you will find out that a car is not really needed on the island of Oahu.

My girlfriend and I came to Hawaii for our first anniversary. I had been here 3 times beforehand and my gf only once.... It had been over 10 years since my pervious visit and my gf only had two years since her's....
Suffice to say, tour was magic! Kenn whom was our tour guide was awesome, his explainations and knowledge not only on the history of Hawaii, but the views of the Hawaian people themselves was mind blowing...
It was like sitting on a bus with Morgan Freeman doing the narrative, as he gave information freely, repeated important points, and told us exactly where to sit on Pearl Harbour tour so we would get the best vantage point....
As he called us, "Professional Travellers", we were no longer classed as tourists, nor should Kenn be classed merely as a Tour Guide, more aptly described as a "Professor of Hawaiiantology"
Thanks guys! We will definitely recommend you and use you again upon our return to Hawaii when we next visit...
Mahalo!

I attended this tour with my husband who is also a veteran. We both enjoyed the tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to witness and stand where so much history took place. To see how the soldiers are honored and the peace and serenity which engulfs the monument is a must experience. We highly recommend this tour.

The Surf Bus tour to the North Shore was the best tour that we took. Our driver Justin was awesome. On the tour of the island he was very knowledgable and pointed out lots of things that we would have missed if we had just taken a rental car. This tour also gave us lots of options as far as activities and a choice of beaches to spend time at. Waimea Bay was the best beach on the island and the jumping rock was a lot of fun. I would recomend this tour to anyone!

We took this tour because it was a great variety of the island. Our guide "cowboy" was awesome and very knowledgeable. Very descriptive of the Pearl Harbor attack and then just generally around the island also. The Pearl Harbor tour was a great experience and the guide had some excellent advise to get in and out of the crowds. The Circle island was also amazing as you could see the Dole Plantation, although really only a gift shop as it is no longer a functioning plant, the Mac nut farms, and then see lots of the gorgeous surfing beaches! Overall this was a great tour, but you must be willing to get up SUPER early and be prepared to be gone all day. We were picked up from our hotel at 5:50AM, and weren't returned until around 5:30PM. But it was a great scenic day.

Pearl Harbor is a must for any hot blooded American. I was on the brink of tears most of the time. Our carefree life in the USA is provided by countless sodiers, policemen, and firemen. They are true heros.
The circle the island tour is a good way to see Oahu within hours. My only suggestion is to have lunch at one of the shrimp trucks instead of a restaurant. Honey's Restaurant is decent but hardly unique. I'd rather have a plate of shrimps on rice from a truck. That, to me, is uniquely Oahu.
The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly, deserving of praise.
It's $ worth spending if one has never been to Oahu.

Our tour guide was great and had lots of useful tips and information. The Arizona Memorial was great. Tour was a little long. Stopping at the Dole "plantation" is kind of a joke...it's just a gift shop. Other than Pearl Harbor, Ohau is overrated.

Nappy, our bus driver and tour guide, made our tour fun, friendly and informative! He is a great storyteller and really takes an interest in his guests. All day tours in large busses are often long and grueling but he took the time to get to make sure that everyone was safe and was able to enjoy each stop to the fullest. My cousin, who is a local but has never played 'tourist', thought he was wonderful! She said that she never thought taking an island tour could be so much fun. Mahalo nui loa, Nappy! The tour was wonderful and well-worth the money. A good overall view. Wonderful companions onboard. Our tour guide, Kanoelani, was very knowledgeable and even stopped at some extra places not on the itinerary. However, at the very last stop before our hotels, she said we had 15 minutes, and when I returned to the parking lot after 12 minutes, the van was pulling away without me!!!! I waved frantically and ran after it, but was not seen. I was stranded, and a woman travelling on my own, with my belongings still onboard. I was quite panicked and didn't know how to get back to town. The van did come back for me after about 10 minutes (she had to find a spot to turn around after another passenger reported me missing), but I was really scared by then. There was no apology from the tour guide, which I did expect, since she left early and did not do a head-count (only 10 on the van). I think the guides should make sure that everyone is there before leaving. It's not a difficult thin

Great to do at the beginning of the Hawaii visit. It allows you to see bits of all of Oahu. If you go at the beginning, you'll be able to return to certain cites if you felt you didn't spend enough time there. I personally would have liked to spend more than 15 minutes at the Dole Plantation. Amazing to see how terrain changes on such a small area of land! Tour guide, Greg, was very amusing!

I would have to say that this tour was great from beginning to end! Pick up was prompt and the guide actually gets out and calls your name so you don't have to worry about not getting on the wrong tour. Our guide who goes by Misty but has the most beautiful Hawaiin name (of course I would massacre it if I tried to spell it) was a fantastic guide. She knew each one of our names within the first 10 minutes and didn't forget the whole day. I have never learned so much or had such a great time on a tour. We saw things that many people don't get to see and we even got to see 2 leatherback turtles and take pictures of them. For lunch we got to eat at Honey's which was very good so that was a nice view to look at while eating. All in all we could not find a fault except for the unexpected weather that made it hard to see the beautiful color of the ocean. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see the island!!!!

We had a wonderful day. Our tour host was wonderful. His knowledge of the islands and their history was very impressive. His attitude was so wonderful and layed back. We had a few delays because of others in our group and he kept the day pleasant. We would not have seen some of the highlights he showed us had we done a tour on our own. Because this was a smaller bus we were only about 20 people which made the tour more personal. I don't think we would have enjoyed it as much had we gone on one of those huge tour buses.
Thanks to Cowboy for a wonderful day.

I would recommend it to everyone. Justin pointed out the must-see beaches (Pipeline, Sunset, Waimea) and north shore roadside eateries. North shore was unbelievable, unlike anything I've ever experienced. On the second half of the tour, we rode paddle boards which was also a blast! It was quite an upper body workout and was inexpensive too. Justin was very knowledgeable about the history of HI and kept us entertained during the drive. This was an amazing tour! Our guide was a veteran that was able to give us a different perspective to Pearl Harbor. It was not sugar coated or one-sided either. Simply amazing. He informed us prior to stopping at places how much time we would have (and what we would have less time with if we went over) and gave us instructions on how to get the most out of our time (what to do first, what not to miss). The circle island portion was insightful, and we had just about as much time as we could want at most stops (excepting the Dole plantation - kids got caught up at the pearl table). The kids were tired as we had been out late the night before at a luau, but they had enough down time between stops and napped. Not that between stops were dull moments - but for the most part interesting facts, legends, history, and jokes were shared throughout the whole tour - they were just really tired from the late night before! We had thought about renting a car and driving around on our own agenda, but
