We did this "tour" on our second trip to Hawaii. It is a great opportunity to experience the North Shore on your own but still get the guided tour experience. This is a "tour" you could take multiple times and have a new experience every time. We loved the options and being able to choose our adventure once we got there.

The 6 of us were in Hawaii at Christmas 2009. Our ages ranged from 60 down to 5. We enjoyed this tour & "owboy" was great. He was so knowledgable & definetly had a sense of humor. He treated everyone of us like very good friends. We all felt really special. He gave us many tips of beating the crowds & best seating areas at the Arizona Memorial. We were taken to many great places all around the island. It was nice to be able to get out of the vehicle to actually stand on the beaches & get wet. The Mac Nut Farm had free tasting. YUM... We witnessed a pineapple carving at the Dole Plantation. We saw new pineapple fields & a religious shrine area. The tops of the cliffs gave us awesome sights. We even saw some whales playing out in the ocean along with watching the blow hole. Cowboy even gave my grandaughters some very cute young coconut souveniors that he picked up & made faces/heads out of. He explained many different features of the islands including a lot of history to help us understa

I have always had great respect and admirsation for the men and women of our armed forces, but attending the tour of Pearl Harbor increased that exponentially. I had tears in my eyes at the USS Arizona Memorial. The aren't words to describe the experience of learning what happening to all of those men on December 7, 1941. After we left the memorial we went on the Circle Island tour. As a first time visitor to Hawaii, I was in awe of the beauty this island possesses. The staff on the tour was great! Kanoelani and Ken were amazing, insightful, friendly, and very informative. They made a GREAT tour spectactular!!!

This was the best way for a first-timer to the island to visit all the high notes of the island. Our tour guide Garfield was great -- knowledgeable, courteous, and amusing. My boyfriend and I had driven around the island by ourselves the day before and it was nice to get the information on the places we had stopped at and seen, but didn't know about.
I would recommend this tour to anyone vacationing on Oahu for the first time.

Our guide (Hana) was wonderful. He made the entire tour worth it. The Pearl Harbor part of the tour is very moving. And the sites of the Island were just amazing. Even got to see them making a movie about the girl that was surfing and lost her arm to a shark a few years ago. The movie will be called "Lone Surfer".

We did this tour on our first day at Oahu, and it gave us an excellent introduction to the culture, landscapes, and lifestyles of Hawai'i. The tour was absolutely fantastic; we saw so many different and beautiful places without ever feeling rushed. Perhaps the best thing about the tour though was our guide Keau- he was so welcoming, funny, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this tour to all visitors to Hawai'i :)

We had a great time on this tour. The group was small, so the guide could be flexible and give individual attention to each participant. There was a range of activities so you could choose how active you wanted to be. We did the Wailea Falls hike and stand-up paddling. We had lunch at the cafe at Wailea Falls, very good Hawaiian-style food. We were glad we paid the extra for an instructor on the paddling as it was challenging. I would only recommend doing it on your own if you are experienced. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in learning more about the North Shore.

The Pearl Harbor Hawaii Circle Tour was unique. We started with Pearl Harbor which was poignant and beautifully done. Then we started what I like to call "see the Hawaii most people don't see".
We not only saw mountains valleys, cliffs, and ocean but landmarks, visited a farm, plantation, enjoyed lunch at a golf club (not included). The guide (driver) was funny, informative, and professional. Don't miss this tour - this is the real Hawaii.

Tour guide was knowledgeable, but I got a little tired of her reminding us that she knew all of our names. This was impressive that she could remember our names, but after a while it seemed like she was reminding us so we would give her a bigger tip. Lunch at the golf club was an odd choice...with so many Hawaiian locations available, we go to a golf club? I took the abbreviated tour (finished at 3:30 rather than 5:30), and from what I heard from those that did the full day tour, I made a wise choice. All-in-all, a good tour with a knowledgeable guide, but the Dole plantation and Macadamia nut "factory" stops didn't offer much more than shopping.

Hello All!
My husband and I took this tour on Tuesday, Oct 6th, 2009. It was the best tour ever! North Shore is beautiful and absolutely amazing. We had one activity and rode a beach cruiser to all the beaches. We hung out at Waimea Beach and the waves were pretty insane. There was a surfing competition on the other beach. We saw sea turtles and that was a SIGHT! Our tour guide Sam is the definitely the coolest guide ever. We 100% recommend this activity to everyone. No joke. If you don't believe, you guys can contact us at mdot42@hotmail.com. =D

The ride from Waikiki was long, but the driver entertained us with great facts. The hike to the waterfall was nice. Unfortunately there seemed to not be enough time to do two activities in the morning. We hiked back down to the beach and only had enough time to jump in the water before pick up. I missed jumping off the rocks:( The kayak was relaxing and provided us with a great tan!

My husband and I went to Oahu with his parents and decided to take an island tour. We did not rent a car, so this was the best way for us to see as much as possible. There are many tours available and they all seem to go to the same sights, but I am glad I booked this one because our tour guide, Lani, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and it felt like she truly enjoyed sharing everything with us even though she had done it a hundred times before. Lani was patient and friendly and happy the entire day (and it was a LONG day!). The tour is on a small bus, which worked well and seems to be common for this type of tour. There was a lot of in-and-out of the bus but not too much and the stops were all worth it. The group at HawaiiActivities was very nice about changing tour dates for me, even with last minute notice. We all enjoyed this tour and are glad we did it - it's worth the cost.
