This was an absolutely recommended tour that you should definitely join.
I participated with my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, while I was on my second trip. I was looking for places that are not the usual tourist spots in Hawaii, and I discovered this tour!
After reading the reviews, I thought, "This is it!" and signed up immediately, which turned out to be a great decision; it was truly a wonderful tour.
The female guide and instructor was friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable, explaining Hawaii's legends in an easy-to-understand and thorough manner, allowing us to feel as if we were seeing the same scenery as the people from long ago. It was truly breathtaking!
At the beach where we went snorkeling, we were the only Japanese people there, and there were only a few tourists, so it felt very private. We enjoyed a lunch picnic on the beach with lunch bought from a local supermarket, soaking in the relaxed local vibe.
The care provided by the guide during snorkeling was excellent, making it easy to enjoy even for beginners.
Swimming while searching for fish among the rocks was a lot of fun.
We were able to see many cute fish.
The driving was very skillful, and it was a pleasant ride, comfortably moving while enjoying the ever-changing scenery from Waikiki.
I want to join this tour again.

シュノーケリングしたビーチには、日本人は私たちだけ、ツーリストもチラホラくらいでプライベート感満載ですし、現地のスーパーで買ったランチをビーチでランチピクニック、のんびりとロコ気分も味わえます(^^)
シュノーケリングはガイドさんのケアが素晴らしく、初めてでも安心して楽しめます。
岩場を魚を探しながら泳ぐのはとても楽しかったです。
かわいい魚をたくさん見る事ができました。
運転がとてもお上手でドライブも気持ちよく、ワイキキから刻一刻と変わる景色を見ながらの
快適な移動でした。

This is the tour for people who like to be on there own once they get there. This is broken into two parts morning activity and afternoon activity. You have a fully narrated ride over to the North Shore telling you virtually everything about the island. Also all landmarks are pointed out. You arrive get snacks if needed. You are then dropped off at your first activity. The falls etc. Pk up time is set you meet back at bus and your off to bike,kayak,shop or lunch or whatever. Your pk up time is set for your hassle free ride back to waikiki. All fully narrated back. Worth every penny. AC was our guide and knew everything about the island. Was the highlight of our trip.

It was my first trip to Hawaii, and I wanted to enjoy the unique nature of Hawaii, so I participated in this tour. As a result, I was able to enjoy the charm of Oahu, both the sea and land, which I couldn't experience in downtown Waikiki, and it was a lot of fun.

One of the highlights of this tour was our guide, Akima. He was very friendly and kind, making it feel like I was being shown around by a friend living in Hawaii, which was a truly luxurious experience. Additionally, Akima has a wealth of knowledge about Hawaii, and he happily shared interesting information about each spot we visited before snorkeling, as well as general facts about Hawaii, making our travel time very enjoyable and increasing my interest in Hawaii. This is definitely a point that stands out because we had a reliable Japanese-speaking guide.

Although it was our first experience snorkeling, thanks to Akima's patient support, we were able to enjoy snorkeling. (We saw the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a!) Even those who are not confident in their physical strength can enjoy snorkeling by holding onto the float that the guide has. (My wife did the same.)

We also visited various spots besides snorkeling. Among them, my personal highlights were the cave, a leisurely lunch on the beach, and Makua Valley. The sight of the mountains in Makaha Valley was particularly impressive and became an iconic image of Hawaii for me.

I apologize for the lengthy message, but when I visit Hawaii again (even on a different tour), I would definitely like to request this tour again. It was that enjoyable!

初めてのハワイ 旅行でしたが、ハワイ独特の自然を楽しみたかった為このツアーに参加させて頂きました。
結果、ワイキキ市街では味わうことの出来ない、海も陸も含めたオアフ島の魅力を楽しむ事ができてとても楽しかったです。

そしてこのツアーの魅力の一つが、ガイドのAkimaさん。
とても気さくな優しい方だったので、まるでハワイ在住の友達に観光案内をしてもらっているかの樣な、とても贅沢な時間を過ごす事ができました。
また、Akimaさんはハワイに関する知識がとても豊富で、シュノーケリング前に立ち寄る各スポットに関する事、及びハワイ全般に関する事等を楽しく教えて下さるので、移動中もとても楽しい時間となり、よりハワイに興味が湧きました。
これは頼りになる日本語ガイドさんがいて下さるからこそのポイントですね。


また、シュノーケリング初体験の私達でしたが、Akimaさんが根気よく付き添ってくれたお陰で楽しくシュノーケリングが出来ました。(フムフムヌクヌクアプアアが見られました！)
体力に自信のない方でもガイドの方が持っているフロートに掴まりながら泳ぐ事で楽しくシュノーケリング出来るはずですよ。（私の妻もそうしていました）

そしてシュノーケリング以外にも色々なスポットを巡りました。
その中でも個人的なハイライトは洞窟、のんびりとしたビーチでのお昼ご飯、そしてマクア渓谷です。特にマカハ渓谷の山の姿はとても印象的で私にとってのハワイの原風景となりました。

長々と書いてしまいましたが、
再びハワイを訪れる際には(別のツアーの形でも)是非お願いしたいと思います。
それほど楽しかったツアーでした。

We just wanted to get out of Waikiki for half a day and this was the perfect tour. Jarod our tour guide was 100% local and had so much interesting local knowledge to impart. Took us to some great locations. Only thing I would say was a slight negative was that the jeep is probably not that comfortable for 4 adults. Initially it was just my partner and myself and we were so excited but then picked up another 2 males - so was fairly crammed in back seat. Would have liked it to be topless as well.

We had such a good time. There was 7 of us in our group. Some of us had been to Oahu before and some had not. We wanted to take a smaller, more personal tour. So we could all be TOGETHER and learn some of the history of the islands while seeing all the sights.
Our driver was insightful, and fun. He answered all of our inquiries with so much knowledge.
Everyone of us enjoyed the whole tour. It was nice to be able to talk, visit, take pictures and not have to worry about driving and finding the way ourselves.
We didn't feel rushed... got to see everything at each stop.
Mahalo for a wonderful day...

Tori enhanced the tour with her energy and knowledge! The stop at Fumi’s was my favorite. There just happened to be several hula dancers and a musician that sang for a couple that got engaged. The shrimp was ono! The ube popsicle, too! Waimea Falls was also a treat. There was even a Farmers Market with local fruit and food. Gotta try the ice cream bananas. So good!

AC was our guide for this tour and he was funny and full of information. The lunch at the waterfall was not the best and very limited. We heard from other people that the lunch at the burger place was very good. It started to rain right after lunch which cut short afternoon activities. AC took us to the Dole plantation to try to make up for the rain. AC really tried to make the day better for us.

Our tour guide was very informative. She talked about the Hawaiin lifestyle and how things have changed for them over the years. She was also very good about teaching us some of the Hawaiin language. A very important part of the culture. One thing would have made this better would have been a better lunch menu. The buffet at Kualoa ranch was limited.

This tour was very nice. We were picked up on time and transferred to a second bus. The driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable about many things Hawaiian. He was friendly, entertaining and very personable. The stops were interesting, although it seemed a bit like we moved from one tourist shopping to another. The times were adequate at most of the stops. However, although the last stop at the Dole Planatation was an hour, we were advised to not take the 20minute train ride as it would possibly make us miss the ride back to our hotel. There were no tours at the temple or plantation which was disappointing, but plenty of shopping! The driver apparently thought there were be more traffic as we were at our hotel about two hours earlier than we expected. We would have enjoyed more time at the North Shore since we did not stop there. Maybe that could be added?

If you go to Hawaii you must see the Polynesian Cultural Centre. The last time I was here was 38 years ago. A lot has changed, but it is still a must see. The ambassador guided tour got us to each presentation at the appropriate time. There is a huge amount of information about the background of the Polynesian people. My wife and I were amazed by the Ha, Breath of Life show and we really enjoyed the prime rib and crab leg dinner.
There is no alcohol at the Polynesian Cultural Centre but one day without was probably good for us anyway.

This was a great tour for our first visit to Oahu. Our driver, Gensen, was very knowledgeable of the island. He was courteous and professional. I would highly recommend. I am very impressed with Polinesian Adventures Tours. They are exceptional, and really took care of us when we got tied up in traffic, redirecting us to another pick up point. I give them 5 Stars! Excellent!

This was my 20th trip to Hawaii, but I had hardly experienced West Oahu. The farthest I had visited in Hawaii before was Ko Olina, so I was really looking forward to this West Oahu tour.

My husband and I participated, and since we were the only two participants that day, it felt like a private tour. Our guide, Akima, was a charming and wonderful Japanese person who handled four roles: driver, guide, instructor, and photographer, all with a smile.

The tour was packed with activities, including listening to myths related to the sightseeing spots and enjoying beautiful scenery. However, the most memorable part was snorkeling and encountering three sea turtles and a manta ray. According to Akima, seeing a manta ray happens about once a year, so we were very lucky.

We also opted for the photo shoot, and since Akima is an underwater photographer, he took many wonderful pictures of us swimming with the sea turtles, which made us very satisfied.

I heard that fewer people book this West Oahu tour in winter compared to summer, so I think winter is recommended for those who want to enjoy West Oahu in a smaller group and at a leisurely pace.

私たちはオプションの写真撮影も申し込んでいたのですが、Akimaさんは水中カメラマンもやっている人なので、ウミガメと一緒に泳いでいるところ等、素敵な写真を沢山とっていただき、大変満足でした。
冬場はこの西Oahuのツアーを申し込む人は夏場に比べて少ないとのことでしたので、少人数でゆったりと西Oahuを楽しみたい人には冬場がお勧めだと思います。

We participated as a same-sex couple. Including the instructor, there were seven of us in three groups, and we had a great time with the other participants.

We visited various power spots and received energy, and I was very satisfied swimming with sea turtles while snorkeling. Everyone was fast asleep on the way back.

It was my first time in Hawaii, and I am grateful to our instructor, Akima, who taught us a lot about the charm of Hawaii and the deep attractions of West Oahu.

This is not the tour companys fault but if you want to be able to see Pearl Harbor don’t take this tour. The guide was late picking us up and we were at the end of the line. He did get our tickets for us but we spent a lot of time waiting around. There was not nearly enough time to see the site. The island tour was long and not very good. Unable to stop along the beaches due to laws. Dole plantation was a tourist trap and the macadamia shop was over run with people chowing down on the free samples. Anyway time would have been better spent seeing more of Pearl Harbor. So if you have a choice spend your time at Pearl Harbor and skip the bus tour. Find your own beach to hang out on later in the day

For everybody, who is new on the Island and interested to get quick overview with some topics, this properbly is the right thing.
Our driver was wunderful driving us savely and with some nice jokes at a side he teached us interesting facts on the Sites, we were passing and the people Livingstones here.

I have been to Oahu many times, but I had never been to West Oahu, so I decided to join this tour. The instructor was a cute woman, which surprised me a bit. However, she was very knowledgeable, and I felt reassured once we entered the water. West Oahu is said to have mostly sunny weather, and the day of the tour was no exception. We could see dolphins swimming offshore from the beach, and the views of the Kaneohe Sandbar and Makaha Valley were beautiful and magnificent. The mystical Kaneana Cave is a place that is not easily accessible, so this tour is definitely worth participating in. During snorkeling at Pokai Bay, not only did we see sea turtles, but we also encountered a manta ray! I had seen one while diving on the Big Island before, but I never expected to see one while snorkeling from the beach on Oahu. The instructor mentioned that it was her first time encountering one on this tour, and she was surprised as well. The creatures you encounter in the ocean vary by season. I would love to join another tour again.

何度もオアフには行っていますが、西オアフには行ったことがなかったため参加しました。ガイドでインストラクターがキュートな女性でちょっとビックリ。しかし、とても知識があって、海に入ると頼もしさを感じました。西オアフは基本的に晴天が多いそうですが、参加日も快晴。沖を泳ぐイルカがビーチからも見え、カネへの礼拝山やマカハの渓谷も美しく素晴しかったです。神秘的なカネアナ洞窟は、なかなか行くことは出来ないところだと思うので、このツアーに参加する価値があります。ポーカイベイでのシュノーケルでは、海亀だけではなく、ナント！マンタに遭遇！！ハワイ島でのダイビングでは以前見たことがありますが、オアフ島で、しかもビーチからのシュノーケルで見ることが出来るとは思ってもみませんでした。インストラクターの方も、このツアーでは、初めてだそうで、驚いていらっしゃいました。季節によって海で出会う生き物は色々。またご案内いただきたいと思います。

It was a tour where we drove through the western side, which I had never been to before, while listening to various explanations. Along the way, we were able to see a wild Hawaiian monk seal, which is said to be quite rare. The snorkeling lasted about an hour at the end. It was a beach with no tourists, just two locals fishing. We saw turtles and fish, but I thought it would have been better if the water clarity was higher for snorkeling. I think the tour of West Oahu is unique and good, but it felt a bit pricey. I wish it had included lunch at least.

It's a fulfilling experience that includes visiting mysterious places and enjoying snorkeling. The tour guide was knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories, which made it enjoyable. I was surprised to see a Hawaiian monk seal in the shallow waters, something you rarely encounter. At Kaneana Cave, I captured an unprecedented number of orbs in my photos. Having lunch while looking at the deep blue sea felt extraordinary and luxurious.

神秘的な場所を巡り、シュノーケリングも楽しめる欲張りな内容です。
ツアーガイドさんも知識豊富で色んなお話を聞かせてくれて楽しかったです。
滅多に出会えないハワイアンモンクシールが浅瀬にいてビックリ。
