I have been to Oahu many times, but I had never taken a tour around the island, so I joined this one-day tour!

A man named Jonah guided us in Japanese, which made it very easy to understand and enjoyable.

What I was most satisfied with was being able to visit various famous spots! We used our time effectively, and Jonah explained the recommended attractions and highlights at each stop, so even in a short time, I was able to learn a lot and it was very fulfilling♡

The tour felt more like sightseeing rather than activities, so I think even older people can enjoy it!

We also went to the mountains, so the weather was a mix of rain and sunshine, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all.

I highly recommend this tour!♡

This time, I went to Dole and Haleiwa for the first time. Since I didn't have a rental car, I signed up for a tour with Japanese language support.

Our driver, Cindy, first took us to take pictures at the King Kamehameha statue and provided various explanations. Next, we rode the train at Dole, which ran comfortably through the plantation. The pineapple soft serve was exquisite. Finally, we went to Haleiwa. When I told the driver that I wanted to eat garlic shrimp, she kindly guided us to a restaurant and even ordered for us since we couldn't speak English. It was such a relief, and we were able to fully enjoy and have fun. After eating, we enjoyed shopping and looking at the beautiful ocean, which was a lot of fun.

Next time, I would like to take a bit more time to enjoy it. Thank you very much.

As souvenirs, I also received pineapple banana cake, water, and mint candies.

Since we were hiking up Diamond Head to catch the sunrise, we had to wake up early. I had previously hiked during the day and almost suffered from heatstroke, having to turn back just before reaching the top. I recommend starting early, even in the dark! The zigzag uphill path was easy to navigate. Jonah's thoughtful preparation, such as providing flashlights for the four participants, was wonderful!

After that, our group grew from four to eight people. We also stopped by Leonard's and enjoyed delicious malasadas in the car. There were many stops along the way, and Jonah's insights about each attraction and restroom advice made this tour truly special.

Not only did we visit tourist spots, but Jonah also allowed us time to relax and enjoy the ocean view.

One regret, or rather a mistake! I was excited about Giovanni's, famous for its garlic shrimp at the Kualoa Sugar Mill, and being a fan of spicy food, I ordered the "Hot & Spicy." It turned out to be much spicier than I imagined, and I had to quickly leave that spot and rush to a bar where I could drink beer, managing to eat with a beer in hand! I should have ordered the scampi, which is labeled as the number one favorite! For those who love spicy food, be cautious!

Strolling around Haleiwa Town while checking out the shops was just the right amount of time, and I enjoyed the coffee tasting at the last coffee farm, purchasing some that I liked.

観光地だけでなく、海をゆっくりぼんやり見る時間も作って下さいました。
１つ後悔！と言うか失敗！
カフク・シュガーミルにある、ガーリックシュリンプで有名なジョバンニに心躍ったのですが、辛いもの好きで「ホット＆スパイシー」を注文してしまいました。これは、想像以上に痛い位辛く、その場をすぐに引き上げて、ビールを飲ませてくれる店に駆け込んで、ビール片手に何とか食べました！人気No1と書いてあるスキャンピを頼むべきでした！辛い物好きな方もご注意ください！
ハレイワタウンもブラブラとお店を冷かしながら歩いて、丁度良い時間でしたし、最後のコーヒーファームの試飲のコーヒーも美味しく頂き、気に入ったものを購入できました。
最後まで、運転しながらたくさんのお話をして下さったジョナさん、お世話になりました！ありがとうございました！！

I participated on January 21st. We visited various tourist spots on the East Coast in order, and we were able to take photos at each location. At Kualoa Beach, we saw a honu (sea turtle) come close to the shore to eat seaweed. At the Tropical Farm, which my wife was looking forward to, we had the experience of cracking macadamia nuts and tasting all the different varieties. For lunch, we enjoyed a large Instagram-worthy burger at the Seven Brothers at Kahuku Sugar Mill. In the afternoon, we had an hour and a half of free time in Haleiwa, and we returned to Waikiki around 5 PM.

We visited many spots, but since it was just the two of us that day, we were able to enjoy it without rushing. Additionally, our conversations with our guide, Jonah, were lively, making for a fun day.

The pickup from the hotel was very smooth. Climbing to the summit with a light in hand in the pitch dark and watching the sunrise made me feel refreshed. I've visited Hawaii many times, but I realized there are still places I haven't been to, and it felt like I rediscovered the charm of Hawaii. I encountered sea turtles at various beaches, and visiting the macadamia nut farm and coffee plantation was enjoyable as well. Above all, our guide Jonathan's chatter made it a truly delightful tour. The friendly and knowledgeable driver, who seemed to be an experienced person from Dole, drove the trolley through the vast pineapple plantation while providing detailed explanations to the participants, allowing us to enjoy the pineapple fields with peace of mind. The farm was incredibly expansive, unimaginable in Japan (about 180 Tokyo Domes?), and I learned that the workers spend all day bending over to plant 5,000 pineapple tops, realizing the tremendous effort that goes into producing such delicious fruit. At the shop, we were able to taste freshly harvested pineapples and received a whole pineapple as a souvenir, which added to our enjoyment after returning to the hotel. After the farm tour, we had lunch at a popular garlic shrimp restaurant in the center of Haleiwa, and in the afternoon, we visited the turtle rock for power sports and a soap factory that was featured on Japanese television. On the way back, the driver listened to the participants' wishes and took us to the highest parking lot on Tantalus Hill, where we enjoyed a panoramic view of Oahu. The tour was filled with new discoveries, making for a memorable day.

It was great to have a Japanese guide with us! She was a cute girl and it was fun. However, there was a lot of moving around, and it was disappointing that we didn't stay in one place for long... I was sad that I couldn't take my time for the restroom or shopping.
