I had a wonderful dinner at Michel's before, so I tried to make a reservation again this time, but it was fully booked. While looking for options for our last dinner in Waikiki, I found this tour. I’m excited to hear that it’s a place used for wedding receptions. The meeting point was easy to find, so we didn’t have to go around to different hotels, making for a smooth transfer. Everyone was dressed up a bit in aloha shirts and dresses.

From the car window, we enjoyed views from the city to the highway and residential areas. While waiting for our meal to be served, which took about an hour, we strolled through the garden, made ti leaf bracelets, got traditional design tattoo stickers, and played some simple games... It was great to spend time leisurely. Since it was a private garden, we felt safe with no one else around except for the tour participants.

It was nice that we received two drink tickets. We could order drinks as soon as we arrived, and having a beer while looking at the garden and water in the evening was the best! There were several options for beer, wine, and other drinks. The meal prepared by the chef from Michel's was delicious, and I reminisced with my husband about our previous experience at Michel's, saying, "Yes, this Caesar salad! This steak sauce!" Both the shrimp and meat were satisfying, giving a more elevated impression compared to the typical barbecue or local cuisine often found on tours. As expected from Watabe Wedding.

Throughout the meal, there was live music, and we enjoyed watching various hula dances while taking in the scenery transitioning from evening to night. With only 14 participants, this hospitality felt luxurious. The show ended with an impressive fire dance and a short hula lesson, filling both our stomachs and hearts. I was a bit anxious because Japanese people don’t seem to know how to cheer during shows, and I thought it would be easier for the performers if there were more clapping and applause, but after all, there were only 14 of us (laughs).

The guide and the staff who served our meals spoke Japanese, which was great. The guide even took individual photos and explained the place, and I was happy they were able to assist despite being busy. I’m considering joining again next time with my elderly parents. Thank you very much!

結婚式のレセプションでも使われる場所とのことで期待が膨らみます。

車窓は街中からハイウェイ〜住宅地まで見られて楽しめました。
お食事が出てくるまで１時間ほど、お庭を散策したり、ティリーフで腕輪を作ったり、伝統的デザインのタトゥーシールを貼ってもらったり、簡単なゲームもありました。。。のんびり過ごせたのはとても良かった。
プライベートガーデンなので、ツアー参加者以外にいなくて安心。
ドリンクチケットが２枚付いているのも良心的。
現地に到着早々にドリンクが注文できて、夕方のお庭や水辺を見ながらのビールは最高！ビールやワイン、ドリンクは数種類ありました。
ミッシェルズにいたシェフが作るお食事は、とても美味しく、「そうそう、このシーザーサラダ！このステーキソース！」と以前のミッシェルズでの思い出を夫と話しながらいただきました。
エビもお肉も満足なもので、ツアーにありがちなバーベキューや現地料理的なものから一段上な印象です。
さすがワタベウェディング(^^)
お食事の間ずっと生演奏が流れていて、次々雰囲気の違うフラダンスを見せていただきながら、夕方から夜になっていく景色をゆったり楽しむ。参加者14人でこのおもてなし。。。贅沢だなー(^_^;)
ショーの最後は迫力のファイヤーダンスとフラのショートレッスンもついていて、お腹も心も満たされました。
日本人はショーの盛り上げ方が分からなくて、本当はもっと手拍子や拍手があったほうが演者さんが演りやすいんじゃないかなーとハラハラしたりしましたが、何しろ14人ですからね(笑)
案内の方始め、お食事のサーブをしてくれたスタッフさんは日本語が通じるので、その点も良かった。特に案内の方は個別に写真を取ってくれたり、場所の説明をしてくれたりとお忙しいのに対応してもらえて嬉しかったです。
次回は高齢の両親と参加してもいいかもと思っています

The admission ticket for Sea Life Park was valid for three days, so I enjoyed the aquarium the day before the Luau show and took my time to watch the show on the day itself. Many people were wearing aloha shirts and dresses, and it felt like everyone was looking forward to the show. There were almost no Japanese tourists, so it was great to enjoy the show in an international atmosphere. And the food was very delicious! It was our honeymoon in Hawaii, filled with first-time experiences! I was a bit anxious about fully enjoying Hawaii, so I booked this show to feel that Hawaiian vibe. To sum it up, I truly believe it was a great decision to make the reservation.

First, we received a beautiful lei made of fresh flowers! It was a bit exciting to receive that coveted lei from a hula girl, just like I had seen on TV! After that, we were kindly shown to our seats, and while enjoying a Mai Tai welcome drink and welcome pineapple, we were entertained by live ukulele performances for each guest, creating a welcoming atmosphere during the wait!

Then the luau began! We enjoyed beautiful hula dances by the hula girls and took part in an authentic hula lesson, making my heart feel Hawaiian. After the hula dance show, we indulged in a delightful buffet. The local dishes, fresh fruits, and grilled foods were all amazing, and by this point, both my eyes and stomach were completely satisfied!

But this is just the beginning! We moved to the show venue, where the hula dance evolved with the times, and the dynamic dances and songs kept raising our excitement! The final fire show was mesmerizing, and I couldn't take my eyes off it for a second! I never expected to be so moved, and both my husband and I truly felt that making the reservation was the right choice.

The day we visited, it was a private event. In a homely atmosphere, time passed without boredom as we enjoyed hula and fire dancing. I have experienced several dinner shows while watching hula, but this was the best, with delicious food and a luxurious time. The transportation to Kaneohe was also considerate, allowing us to relax without worry. The staff who spoke Japanese were kind and helped to uplift our spirits. Thank you very much. I felt a bit anxious about the seating arrangement at the buffet, but there was a newlywed couple visiting from Korea right in front of us, and we had a great time chatting during the meal. An auntie with a ukulele came over to welcome us and asked for song requests, but she was not pushy at all. When I gave her a tip to thank her, she seemed quite flattered.

After the meal, we moved to the adjacent theater. Since it was a Monday and not too crowded, we were guided to the center of the front row, and they made sure to leave space between each group. From my seat, I could see the performers' expressions clearly, and the intensity of the fire dance was so powerful that I could feel the heat. The compact design of the theater allowed even those seated further back to enjoy the show fully.

The food and live performance were absolutely amazing and created a great atmosphere! The buffet style and the variety of dishes (including desserts) made it a perfect choice to go there hungry. Additionally, there was a wide selection of alcohol and drinks! It was fun to have live music close to our seats and to interact with the staff.

We were able to enjoy the band performance up close, which was very exciting. The dance and songs, including those by Michael Jackson, really got everyone pumped up. I'm glad we could spend our last night in Hawaii having such a great time.

From the moment I entered, the staff kept calling us "Ohana" (which means family in Hawaiian), and they welcomed us as if we were their real family, even giving us flower leis.

The Royal Hawaiian Center is on the 4th floor, so the access was excellent and very helpful.

The buffet offerings are the same for both VIP and original options, with not too many varieties, and the taste is just pleasantly good.

The show was very enjoyable, especially since I had a great seat in the center, three rows from the front! They entertained us with a variety of genres, from traditional Hawaiian hula and fire dancing to Michael Jackson. My parents, who are in their 60s, particularly loved it!

I rated the food a 3 and the show a 4.5, giving an overall rating of 4.

Next time I go to Hawaii, I think I will opt for a plan that includes just the show.

I think having a night like this would be fun at least once! The staff was kind, and their desire to entertain us really came through. I can recommend it!

There is a venue on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, and I was able to find it without any trouble. As soon as I arrived and completed the check-in, I was able to participate in the lei ceremony right away. Since my spouse and I wore aloha shirts, we were able to take beautiful commemorative photos with the lei draped around our necks, which was great.

Because we had reserved VIP seats, we were also guided to the buffet with priority. The freshly made roast beef and whole roasted pig were juicy, tender, and very delicious! We also received two complimentary drinks, so we had more than enough to enjoy without needing to order additional ones.

After the meal, we moved to the theater room, which was about a 3-minute walk away, to watch the Hawaiian show. The authentic hula dance was breathtaking. Additionally, we were able to see sharp dance moves and a tribute to Michael Jackson up close, making it a very meaningful time.

Being able to enjoy both the meal and such a show, I think it was overall a highly cost-effective entertainment experience. I recommend participating at least once if you come to Hawaii!

食後は徒歩3分ほどのシアタールームに移動して、ハワイアンショーを拝見しました。
本場のフラダンスは圧巻でした。
また、キレキレのダンスやマイケルジャクソンのオマージュも間近で見られて、とても有意義な時間でした。
食事とこれだけのショーを楽しむことが出来て、総じてとてもコストパフォーマンスが高いエンターテイメントだと思います。
ハワイに来たら一度は参加をお勧めします！

This was my second time.
The pick-up bus was about 10 minutes late, and the vehicle was small and cramped. The guide made excuses, saying, "There was an accident..." but the driving was rough until we arrived at Polynesian, and the guide (driver) seemed to get lost, which made me very anxious.
After arriving at the site, the guide walked ahead quickly, gave a brief explanation, and then dispersed us. It was really a haphazard tour.
The show was good, but I was dissatisfied because I couldn't explore any other areas at all...
We also visited a nearby building that made no sense for free... (I don't really understand the connection...)
It would be great if we could explore other areas in the afternoon as well.
Anyway, I thought the show was better than last time!

First, we started with a welcome drink. We toasted with a drink full of Hawaiian flavor, and since it was the first night of our trip, I was really excited. After that, we enjoyed a buffet meal. There were many Hawaiian dishes, and each one was delicious, which made me very satisfied. In particular, the whole roasted pig was impressive and tasty. During the meal, hula dancers performed in the middle of the tables, adding to the atmosphere. There was even a mini hula lesson. If you wanted to eat, it was perfectly fine to do so. Afterward, we had a dessert buffet and moved to the show venue. The show lasted over an hour, and I was very satisfied. At the end, we could take photos with the performers. As a piece of advice for those experiencing this, you receive two drink tickets (separate from the complimentary welcome drink), which can be used at either the dining venue or the show venue. When we tried to order, we were told that the ordering time at the dining venue had passed, so we had to use them at the show venue. The dining venue has a wider drink menu and serves drinks in proper glasses, which enhances the experience. At the show venue, you can drink while watching the show, but the drinks come in takeout containers and the menu is limited. Please be aware that the drink order cutoff time at the dining venue is quite early.

Good: the performers and MC where good. Bad: Food and Drink where minimum. Selection was limited. All seemed a little cheap. No quality drink choices. Best tequila was Cuervo Gold, really! What decade are we in. Ugly: the setting terrible. On a roof at the conference center. No ambiance. A conference room on the roof. Hilton could and should do better. I will not recommend. I picked this Luau mostly because of proximity to our hotel. That was a mistake. It was the worst experience of our week stay in Oahu.

I didn't receive the VIP treatment I was expecting, but I appreciated how kindly everyone was treated, regardless of their category.

The show featuring impersonators of Elvis and Michael was, of course, impressive, but the local female singers also showcased remarkable vocal talent, making it a worthwhile experience. Among them, the final act with the fire knife was thrilling; I was worried they might get burned, but it was executed perfectly—truly impressive! Good job!!

The show's progression followed the calendar year, and the deep admiration for 'Iz' from Hawaii, who appeared on the screen at the end, made the entire performance even more moving.

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see traditional Hawaiian hula dancing and fire dancing. Before the show, there was a buffet-style dinner, but with the staff's signal, everyone rushed to get their food, creating a huge line. As a result, there wasn't much time, and it felt like we just made one round through the buffet. The roast beef was delicious.

This was a brilliant adventure, from the moment you get in line to enter and get your lei, to when you find yourself on stage dancing the Hula. The activities are great with a number of free cultural classes in the “kitchen” and around the grounds. Great photo opportunities as the sun sets, with great shots of the ocean, the city if Honolulu, and the mountain ranges.

I would recommend this for any other couple, or family regardless if there are or are not children.
