Our group was looking forward to our first luau and as we arrived at the destination it started raining. While the hosts were quick to hand out rain ponchos, the rain affected the event.

First, the hosts were rushed to get folks registered and get things moving. As a result, our group was never able to get our picture taken before the event started. Knowing this was an outdoor venue and its rainy season, I would have expected that certain things would have been under cover - like the photo area, the stage and honestly even the seating.

The food was under cover and was good. Not spectacular but good. A couple of our group had raw fish and were all sick that night so having certain foods outside for an extended period was not smart.

The performance from the warriors was good. They tried to show the different dress/dance of various polynesian groups but it would have benefited from more clarity on their differences as they all stared looking the same.

The ONE performance I was looking forward to was the fire dance. It was a disappointment. I expected all the adult performers to have choreographed a phenomenal dance of fire, complete with fire twirling, throwing etc. Instead they handed the "fire dance" off to one young boy for a solo act and two young boys to show off what they learned. YES, they were very good! but the magic of a "warrior tribe" dancing the fire dance was lost. The adults did come back for a grand finale - but it seems confusing at best.

Not what I expected.

Overall, excellent experience. The show was awesome showing the traditional style of dances and performances of the Hawaiian culture. The buffet itself had many selections to choose and eat. The most highlight of the show was the HA breath of life where it was the fire rings twisted by several different men on the show which was pretty cool. We also did the islands of Polynesia 2 hour guided tour where we sat down and peeled bananas and coconut looking like materials with the dressed up villagers on site.

The buffet had a variety of options, and the show was really wonderful! The kids were also very happy. If it weren't for the unnecessary comments from the male driver who picked us up, it would have been perfect. It was none of his business, and his attitude was too rude.

Booked whilst in Australia, on the night it was easy to locate, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and drink were plentiful and more than expected. The entertainment was very good and as whole the night was a fantastic event. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal and a show.

[VELTRA Staff Experience]
I had a spectacular experience at the Na Lei Aloha Show! The location is within walking distance from most hotels in Waikiki. The food was the best I've ever had at a luau. The all-you-can-eat buffet at Hyatt Hotel features perfectly cooked prime ribs, short ribs, and pork ribs. It's a seafood lover's paradise! They have high quality snow crab legs, made-to-order sushi, poke station, an incredible variety of salads, hot dishes, and an impressive selection of desserts. It’s hard to pick favorites because every dish was outstanding, I can't wait to go back.

The setting had a lovely intimate atmosphere, and the servers were attentive to every detail. The show was absolutely delightful, highlighting Hawaiian culture and the significance of the Lei, showcasing a wide array of flowers used to create these meaningful flower necklaces. The dancers were incredibly talented, and the storytelling was captivating—I couldn't stop smiling!

It was too long of a day! Our bus left PCC after 9:20pm which meant we got back to Waikīkī almost 11pm. The day was great but the ending with the timing of the bus was a sour note.

As we walked in we were greeted with a beautiful cold lei that made us feel welcomed. The location was perfect for Waikiki away from the crowds with stunning views of the ocean/sunset. The food was truly out of this world from just about every thing you could possibly think of. Sushi, meats, a quality salad bar, Korean BBQ, and not to mention the yummy dessert bar. Food for every pallet in the family.

The show was truly engaging, sweet, and wholesome. Based on the history of Waikiki and the importance of flowers being made into leis. Not like any other show i've seen on island. The duration of the activity was perfect, not too long not too short didn't feel rushed to eat or didn't feel like the show was dragging on. Would definitely recommend this for couples and friends looking to celebrate in a unique way.

Dinner show performance
I was overwhelmed by the dynamic fire knife dance. I was surprised to see them putting fire in and out of their mouths!!

The male singer's guitar performance and singing were also great. For people of our age (76 and 83 years old), it was nostalgic to hear Hawaiian songs like "Kaimana Hila," which brought back memories of our youth... and the conversation flowed. Personally, I requested "Aloha 'Oe," but it was a bit disappointing that they said they didn't know it and I couldn't hear it.

The semi-open-air dining venue was full of a sense of freedom, and enjoying delicious food while being close to live music and dance, along with the beautiful natural scenery, made it even more enjoyable. I want to come again.

などの懐かしいハワイアンソングも聴けて我が青春をおもいだし....話が弾む。個人的には"アロハ・オエ"をリクエストしたが知らないと言う事で聴けなかったのがチョッピリ残念。

半ばオープンエアーの食事会場は解放感いっぱい、生の音楽、ダンスを間近に接し美しい自然の景色を見ながらの食事は美味しさ倍増でした。
又、来たい。

My husband and I had a fantastic day at the polynesian culture centre.
We went to many of the activities and to the Gateway dinner. We felt it was excellent and a beautiful display plus we learnt a lot.

I was particularly wishing to go to a Luau and that was what I thought I booked from Australia before we went.....however discovered while there that I had booked the Gateway dinner. Bit disappointed but the dinner was lovely and the whole experience fantastic!!! Thank you all so much...

During Dinner Everyone So Kind and Nice !! We had our baby and a stroller and they went above and beyond to help us feel welcome. They were extra kind to our little one. A good family vibe.

I made some wonderful memories in Hawaii. When I arrived at the venue, I was given a lei, and I took photos with the beautiful ocean in the background and made a ti leaf bracelet.

When dinner started, the hula dance show began as well, and I was glad to enjoy a fun dinner. The menu included appetizers, salad, main courses, and desserts, all of which were beautifully presented and delicious, featuring Hawaiian cuisine that left me very satisfied.

The fire dance was impressive, with the fire being spun vigorously, and it looked even cooler as the sun set during the performance.

I was also happy to take photos with the hula and fire dancers.

会場へ着くとレイをかけてもらって、きれいな海を背景に写真を撮ったり、ティーリーフのブレスレットを作ったりしました。

食事が始まると、フラダンスショーも始まり、楽しくディナーをとることができてよかったです。メニューは、前菜、サラダ、メイン、デザートとどれもきれいで美味しく、ハワイらしい料理もあり、大満足でした。
ファイアーダンスは、火を激しく回して、日が暮れた後のパフォーマンスだったので一層カッコよく見えました。

フラとファイアーダンスのダンサーの方々とも写真を撮ってもらえてよかったです。

We purchased tickets for the show only but walked past the all-you-can-eat buffet and I must say, it looked very good.
The show was very entertaining and well worth the money. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a “must have adventure” that we would highly recommend from couples to families. We spent a day and enjoyed every second of it. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and kept it quiet but loved the experience of the Tahitian wedding ceremony where we renewed our promise. The food experience was outstanding, we tried a lot of food that we never tried before. The raw tuna was our favourite. 1 day was not enough to have the time to have some art workshop to do and sadly we couldn’t go back to have an Okulele session.

I went on the first day of our arrival in Hawaii with my mom! It was so much fun! I'm glad we went on the first day, feeling like "We made it to Hawaii!"

The experience was very nice as far as the show however the food was not great at all very low budget set up and selection of food for the price as well as the fruit punch and water were in igloos

The Hula Garden at Kahalu'u Pond was truly magical! I've attended many Polynesian shows and luaus in Hawaii over the past 10 years, but this one stands out as the most stunning location. It's not your typical luau. It offers a sophisticated dining experience with breathtaking views of Kaneohe Bay and the Kualua Ranch mountain range. The intimate setting sets the stage for an elevated experience: fine dining amidst lush greenery and an ancient fishpond. I'd say it's one of Oahu's best-kept secrets, a hidden gem that only a few people know about. 

The food was exceptional, featuring a 4-course dinner freshly prepared by the renowned Michel's Restaurant. Starting with the chilled roasted tomato bisque, tofu poke, and salad was a treat! The main course of steak, abalone & garlic shrimp was absolutely delicious. The mango mousse cake for dessert was light and refreshing. What I loved most about this evening was the lack of a crowded, touristy luau feel. The entertainment was delightful, featuring a lively band, singer, and dancers performing at various spots throughout the venue. The grand finale featuring a skilled fire knife dancer was truly impressive.

Tips:
- I suggest booking with transportation; it's complimentary. Parking is limited and comes at an additional cost.
- If you're seeking a big luau production, this may not be the one for you. But if you want a distinctive, less crowded, out-of-the-ordinary experience, this is the perfect fit.
- If food quality is important to you, then this dinner show is what you're looking for! The food quality exceeded my expectations, it's restaurant quality! And the menu offers completely different options compared to traditional luau buffets.
- I think this dining show is recommended for all types of travelers and local residents alike, even if you've been to a luau previously.
- This is a fantastic choice for marking a special occasion and a truly romantic experience.

It was a really great ground, but you will be tired after exploring PCC.

The kids had a lot of fun, we think we would skip next but its worth it one time!

I used this for my honeymoon. Since it was my first time in Hawaii, I made a reservation here in advance. There were many foreigners around, and I was initially anxious about my English, but I managed even without speaking much.

After the buffet, there was a hula dance lesson that interested participants could join.

I really enjoyed the show, but I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I could understand English better. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were quite a few empty seats, but I think it's a great deal to enjoy a buffet and a show at this price!

初めてのハワイということもあり、事前に予約ができるこちらを予約しました。
周りは外国人の方が多く、もともと英語に不安がありましたが話せなくてもなんとかなります。
ビュッフェのあとには、フラダンスのレッスンがあり希望者は参加ができます。

ショーはとても楽しめましたが、英語が理解できたらより楽しめたのかなぁと思いました。
平日だったからなのか、空席が結構ありましたが、このお値段でビュッフェ、ショーが観れるのはお得だと思います！

There were many participants, and it felt like a dinner show. We had to wait quite a while to get our food. The Mai Tai was a bit too sweet.

参加者が多くてディナーショーの雰囲気でした。料理を取るのにもかなり待ちました。マイタイは少し甘すぎでした。

On the last day of my stay in Hawaii, I chose to participate in a dinner and hula show curated by Michel's! The pickup was not at the hotel entrance but next to the bus stop, which made me a bit anxious, but they arrived on time, and I was able to board safely. It was a good decision to take the tour since it took a while to reach the hula garden via the highway.

When we arrived at the hula garden, a hula girl welcomed us with a shell lei. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but the dinner location offered a wonderful view surrounded by a lake and mountains. Since we had some time before dinner, we enjoyed taking photos and making bracelets with ti leaves!

The much-anticipated dinner was indeed delicious, as expected from a Michel's curated experience, and I was very satisfied. During dinner, I was able to feel the essence of Hawaii while watching the hula dance up close. The fire show towards the end of the performance was very powerful and exciting! At the end, I was invited by a hula girl to try a hula lesson. I found it more challenging than it looked, and I realized that hula dance has great depth!

There were Japanese staff members at the hula garden who provided information about Hawaii. They were very lovely women! The meal and the atmosphere were so pleasant that time flew by! On the way back, I was taken back to the original pickup location. I had the best night on my last day ♡ I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it!

ピックアップはホテルエントランスではなく、
バスストップの横だったので少し不安でしたが
時間どおりお迎えに来ていただき無事に乗車することが出来ました。
フラガーデンまでは高速に乗り時間がかかるので、ツアーにして正解でした。
フラガーデンに着くとフラガールがシェルレイをかけてくれお迎えをしてくれました。
この日はあいにくの曇り空でしたが、ディナーの場所は湖と山に囲まれた素敵な景色が広がっているところでした。ディナーまで少し時間があったので写真を撮ったり、ティーリーフでブレスレットを作ったりして楽しく時間を過ごしました！
お待ちかねのディナーは流石ミッシェルズが監修しているだけのことがあり、とても美味しくいただくことができ満足しました。
ディナー中、フラダンスを間近で見てHawaiiを感じる事ができました。ショーの終盤のファイアーショーは、とても迫力があり興奮しました！最後にはフラガールに誘われフラレッスンを受けてみました。見ているより実際にやってみると難しく、フラダンスは奥が深いなぁと感じました！フラガーデンには日本人のスタッフがいらっしゃってHawaiiの情報などを教えて下さいました。とても素敵な女性スタッフの方でした！！お食事、その場の雰囲気がとても良くあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました！帰りも最初にピックアップしていただいた場所まで送ってもらいました。最終日最高の夜を過ごす事が出来ました♡是非、迷われている方はこちらのツアーをオススメします！

I thoroughly enjoyed a full day walking around the Polynesian Cultural Center, being introduced to the different cultures, learning history, watching free performances, and buying HI things for family back home. The buffet dinner was outstanding with excellent, friendly service from staff.

The best part was the "HA Breath of Life" show. I've seen Broadway in NY and a show in the west end of London, and this show as just as good, maybe even better as it revolves around true cultural experiences for the audience to witness. I actually got tear-upped more than once. I hope many other will get the opportunity. It was worth every penny and the late bus ride back into Honolulu.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Luau. The show was fantastic and the food was great! The scenic drive to and from was a cherry on top.

Had to get a taxi to the show which was lucky we found one that could take my husbands mobility scooter.
Made some phone calls to complain and sent an email to complain
We were promised a ride back to hotel on bus.
The hostess on the bus on the way was very rude to us
We did receive a small refund which we will grateful for.
Just a suggestion (which I did mention in my emails) for future tours. That maybe your host on the buses actually go and check with all persons that may be waiting by the pickup point or little further away from pickup point. You are dealing with tourists and not everyone will know where the exact pickup points are. Also in our case have the actual name of the tour in front window of bus. Our bus did not have this. Otherwise we would like have know. The host for our tour actually started walking down towards where we were standing but turned back around half way down. She would have seen my husband was in a mobility scooter and would i assume have this information written on your paperwork.

We participated as a couple! Since it was my husband's birthday, we wanted to have a delicious meal that would also be memorable, so we chose this tour.

The shuttle was so comfortable that I ended up sleeping the whole way. We had about an hour before the show started, but the staff took our photos together and we were able to enjoy drinks beforehand, so the time flew by. I had seen reviews before and honestly wanted to relax without participating in games or activities, so it was great that there was no pressure to join in.

I appreciated being able to borrow insect repellent spray.

The first half featured hula dancing, and the final performance with fire was amazing. The hula dancing was a bit long, so it could have been shortened a little. The food was served at just the right timing. It turned out to be a memorable dinner.

夫の誕生日ということもあり、美味しくて思い出にも残る食事にしたいと思いこちらのツアーを選びました。

送迎車ではずっと寝てしまうほど快適でした。
ショーが始まるまで1時間ほどありましたが、係の方がツーショットを撮って下さったり、ドリンクも先に飲めたりであっという間でした。
以前口コミを見ていて、ゲームやアクティビティは正直参加せずのんびりしたいなと思っていたので、強制参加のような雰囲気はなく良かったです。
虫除けスプレーを借りられるのが有り難かったです。

中盤くらいまではフラダンスで、最後に炎のパフォーマンスで素晴らしかったです。
フラダンスの時間が長かったので、もう少し配分が少なくても良かったです。
料理もちょうどいいタイミングで運ばれてきました。
思い出に残るディナーになりました。

The dinner cruise on Star of Honolulu was awesome. The crew were very welcoming and efficient. The dancers were terrific-we really enjoyed them and how close to the audience they were. But the food was the best part. Crab legs, beef and chicken with all the trimmings. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

One of the joys of going to Hawaii is being able to see Presley. I have been a big fan since he was alive. I got to see him again this time. From a distance, this Presley looked quite similar to him. His physique, voice, and singing were nearly perfect. The venue was at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which is close to the hotel, and even better, there is a food court on the second floor of this building where we had dinner. He sang six songs, including "Blue Hawaii" and "My Way." His show can't be seen without going to Las Vegas, but this one is not inferior; at the end, you can take a photo together. I highly recommend it.

ハワイに行く一つの楽しみは、プレスリーに会えることです。彼が生きている頃から、大のファンでした。今回も会えました。今回のプレスリーは遠目には顔もよく似ていました。体形、声、歌も満点に近い存在でした。会場は　ロイヤルハワイアンショッピングセンターにあり、ホテルから近くであり、さらにいいことはこの建屋の2階にはフードコートがあります、ここで夕食を済ませて行きました。ブルーハワイ、そして最後にマイウェーなど6曲も歌ってくれました。彼のショーはラスベガスに行かないと見れませんが、ここはそれに引け劣りません、最後には一緒に写真も撮ってくれます。おすすめです。

The Luau was amazing, food was great and the entire show was so entertaining!! Me and my partner had a great time. I definitely recommend!
