This was our family's first trip to Hawaii with our 6-year-old daughter. She wanted to play with dolphins, so we signed up for the experience. It's a great deal that kids can participate for free. We were picked up from the hotel around 9:30 for the 1 PM session. I ended up sleeping during the ride, but my husband mentioned that the bus driver provided some sightseeing information.

After arriving, we received a brief explanation of the facility (in Japanese), fed sea turtles, watched sea lion and dolphin shows, and spent time until 1 PM having lunch. When the time came, we returned to the area where we had the initial briefing, watched a video explanation, got our belongings ready, and headed to the pool with the dolphins. From that point on, it was mostly in English. Although I was a bit confused, I followed the actions of those around me. Our family isn't very good at English, but we still had a great time, so I think it was totally fine. During the experience, videos and photos were taken. After changing, we hurried to buy the photos and DVD. Unfortunately, there was a sudden power outage, and we couldn't purchase the DVD. We did buy all the family photos to take home. The facility isn't very large, which I think is just right given the limited time. I believe it created wonderful memories for my daughter!

６歳の娘と家族３人で初のハワイです。ハワイに行ったら、イルカちゃんと遊びたい！という娘の希望で、参加の申し込みをしました。子供が無料になるというのもお得ですよね。13時からの回に参加でしたので、９時半頃にホテルにピックアップ。到着までの間、すっかり眠ってしまった私ですが、バスの運転手の方から何らかの観光案内があったと主人は言っていました。到着後、園内の簡単な説明を受け（日本語）、海ガメに餌付けしたり、アシカやイルカのショーを観覧したり、食事を済ませて13時までの時間を過ごしました。いよいよ時間になったので最初に説明を受けた場所に戻り、ビデオで説明を受け、荷物を整えて、いざイルカちゃんのいるプールへ。そこからはほぼ英語のみです。？マークになりながらも、周りの人の動きを見て行動しました。私たち家族は全く英語が苦手なのですが、それでも楽しめたので、全然ＯＫだと思います。その間、ビデオや写真を撮影されました。着替えを済ませて、急いで写真とＤＶＤを購入に行きました。その時、急に停電になり、ＤＶＤが出来上がらず残念ながら購入を断念しました。写真は家族全員のものを購入して帰りました。園内は広くはないです。限られた時間なので調度いいと思います。娘にとって、いい思い出になったと思います！

I participated with my children (7 and 5 years old) and my grandmother. It was really cold at 9 AM, especially since it was cloudy... the water was cold too. The kids were shivering, but the locals seemed completely unfazed (as if to say, "This is normal"). Maybe their skin is different? However, according to my kids, the best part of Hawaii was touching the dolphins, so I think it was definitely worth participating. It seems to have left a strong impression on them! I think those going in February should be prepared for the cold!

On January 20th, the pool water was cold, but thinking about touching the dolphins made it all worth it!

My mother, 63, and my 5-year-old son, despite wearing life jackets, somehow couldn't stay stable and kept drifting to different spots, which drew some attention.

Although the explanations were in English and I didn't understand anything, I had an amazing time kissing the dolphins, being kissed by them, and touching their bellies—experiences that are unimaginable in Japan.

After changing, we watched the sea lion show and fed the turtles, which was an extra charge.

Instead of shopping in Waikiki, I highly recommend that everyone experience touching dolphins in the pool at least once; it will definitely create wonderful memories.

Since it's located near the coast, the seats at the very back of the sea lion show offered a fantastic view of the ocean.

１/２０の参加で、プールの水は冷たかったけど、イルカに触れると思えば、冷たくてもなんの、その！！です。

母６３歳・息子５歳は、ライフジャケットを着ているにもかかわらず、何故か？安定せずに、一箇所に止まれず、フワフワと、違う場所に移動してしまい、注意をされていました。

英語で説明されるので、全くわかりませんでしたけど、イルカに、キスしたり、キスされたり、お腹を触ったりと、日本では、考えられない素敵な時間を過ごす事ができ、最高でした。

その後着替えて、アシカショーや、亀にエサをあげました。有料ですが。

ワイキキで買い物するよりも、皆さんも一度でいいから、イルカと一緒のプールで触れ合った方が絶対に、楽しい思い出になります。

海岸近くにある為、アシカショーの座席一番後ろは、海が一望できて最高の眺めでした。

I participated in the Sea Life Park tour with my son. On the day we arrived, my 4-year-old son was in a bad mood, possibly due to the time difference, and I was worried. However, once he got to touch and kiss a dolphin, he had a big smile on his face. Even though we couldn't speak any English, we were able to communicate, and since we wore swimsuits, we could participate smoothly. The pool was quite deep, but they provided life jackets, so it was fine. The weather was good, but there was also some wind, making it cold, and we ended up shivering even while in the pool. After getting out of the pool, it took about 5 minutes to walk to the changing area, and both my son and I were so cold that we ended up changing in a sunny spot along the way. Since it was seawater, I wanted to take a shower and change, but it was too cold for that. I wouldn't recommend going from the end of January to February. However, the interaction with the dolphins seemed to leave a strong impression on my son.

息子と二人でシーライフパークツアーへ参加しました。到着した当日で時差の関係もあってか始めは４歳の息子の機嫌も悪く不安でしたが、イルカに触ってキスをしてもらったら満面の笑み。全く英語が話せなくても意思疎通でき着替えは水着を着ていったのでスムーズに参加できました。プールはけっこう深いけれどライフジャケットを貸してくれるので大丈夫。ただ天気は良かったけれど風もあって寒くプールの中でもブルブル震えながらの参加となりました。プールから出て着替える場所まで5分くらい歩くのですが息子共々寒くて途中の日向で着替えをしてしまいました。海水なのでシャワーを浴びて着替えをしたかったのですが、寒くてそれどころじゃありません。１月末から２月にかけてはあまりお勧めではないですね。イルカとの触れ合いは息子の心にすごく残ったようです。

The moment I entered the pool, it was a bit cold, but I was able to experience an interaction with dolphins, which is unimaginable in Japan. It was an exciting time not just for the kids but for the parents as well. This became the best memory of my trip. The park itself felt a bit small, but it was enough for the limited time we had after the attractions.

I always felt like it was an existence that seemed somewhat unreal, but I was able to actually touch them and swim while holding onto a dolphin, feeling its body temperature. I was a bit disappointed that the staff took the photos and sold them... But it became a really great memory!! It seems like they also recorded videos, but the editing was so funny that I don't think many people ended up buying them. The park wasn't that big, but I had a great time.

The children were very happy to be able to interact with the dolphins. There were no issues with the tour transportation. However, the Sea Life Park itself didn't have many other attractions (it's cheaper than Japan's Hakkeijima Sea Paradise), so we found ourselves with some free time. If you're mainly looking to interact with dolphins, I think the satisfaction level would be high.

イルカと触れあえることができて子供たちは大変喜んでました。
ツアーの送迎なども問題ありませんでした。
ただ、シーライフパーク自体は他にあまり見るところもなく（日本の八景島シーパラよりチープ）、時間をもてあましてしまいました。
あくまでイルカとふれあいを求めるだけなら満足度は高いと思います。

I participated in the 11:30 session on January 4th. At the reception, I couldn't understand English and only grasped that I needed to come back at 11:15. After gathering again, we were able to smoothly get to the dolphin area, but as soon as we arrived, we were handed life jackets, and it started! I'm glad I wore my swimsuit! I had heard there would be kisses on the cheek, kisses on the mouth, and handshakes, but there were no handshakes. I was really disappointed! I also wished they had taught us more about the training. I did get to touch the dolphins quite a bit. The water was cold! But it was so much fun! I want to go again!

We participated as a family of three, including our 9-year-old daughter. Our daughter, as well as us adults, were very satisfied. The intelligence of the dolphins is truly amazing. We were able to touch them up close, and they performed various tricks, making the time fly by. Since we participated from the very beginning of the day, we spent the remaining time enjoying other shows and feeding other animals, making it a fulfilling day. I definitely want to interact with dolphins! For our family, who gets motion sickness, this is a dream come true to swim with dolphins without getting seasick. My 11-year-old daughter participated in the 9 AM Discovery Swim (without transportation). The others joined at 11 AM. We had to check in by 8:00, so we left the Marriott Hotel by taxi at 7:30. We arrived 30 minutes early, which was great. The fare was about $46.

We waited in front of the counter from 8:00, but the counter didn’t open until just before 9:00. The family briefing video didn’t start until well after 9:30. So, be prepared to wait patiently! (This is advice for everyone.)

We entered the pool in groups of 10 to 14, divided into three groups. My daughter's Japanese group was on the sunny side, which was nice, but the water was still cold. We gave commands to the dolphins, petted their backs, and even kissed them. We spent more time in the pool than I expected, and my daughter’s smiling face made me very happy!

Since we were at the farthest spot from the observers, I could only take small pictures with my own camera. If I had a good zoom lens, I might have gotten better shots. Being closer to the observers would have meant taking pictures from behind, making nice shots difficult. The observers were under a tent, so it wasn’t hot, and they could sit on benches with steps.

I knew there were few changing rooms, so I hurried to the changing room as soon as we got out of the water to secure a spot! I quickly changed after taking a cold water shower. Those who took their time were shivering while waiting for a changing room to open. (It’s a dash to get there!)

Since this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I decided to buy the DVD. It includes individual kiss shots with each dolphin, but the time my daughter appeared was really short, so the price for the necessary footage was quite high! I didn’t bring a video camera, and filming from that angle was impossible, so I have no regrets about the purchase.

At 11:00, the other three family members joined the dolphin tour. To be continued there.

見学者から近い場所だと逆に背中側からの撮影になるのでやっぱりナイスショットは難しいかと・・
見学者はテントの下にいたので暑くはなく、段差のあるベンチに座っていられる。
更衣室が少ないと知っていたので、水から上がったら急いで更衣室へ。場所確保！
冷たい水のシャワーをあびてすぐに着替える。
のんびりしていた子は震えて更衣室が空くのを待っていた。（とにかくダッシュ！）
二度とない経験なので思い切ってＤＶＤを購入した。
グループ全員個々のイルカとのキスショットが入っていて、自分の娘が映っていた時間は
ほんと～に短い時間だったので、必要な映像に対する料金としてはバリ高！
ビデオを持参していなかったし、あのアングルでの撮影はもとから無理なので
購入したことには悔いはない。
11時からは他の3人の家族がドルフィンツアーに参加。つづきはそちらへ

My 11-year-old daughter participated in the Adventure Swim (I have already written about that). My 14-year-old son and my husband and I joined the dolphin tour starting at 11:00. We completed the check-in at 9:00 with our daughter (at this time, we signed an English waiver). We gathered again at the meeting place at 10:45. Around 11:30, we moved to the second floor to watch a video. We were divided into Japanese and English rooms to watch the video. Each group had about 10 people, and we moved to a place with changing rooms and lockers. There, we chose our own life jackets. Japanese women found that junior, Extra Small, and Small sizes were sufficient. My wife, who usually wears size L, was happy that Extra Small fit her perfectly. Once we put on the jackets, we moved to the pool. There was no shade or tent, and our daughter, who was just observing, was struggling with the heat. For observers, hats are essential, and having an umbrella makes it even more comfortable since the shaded areas are cooler. Each group had one dolphin. When we were in the deeper part of the pool, a Japanese guide accompanied us, providing explanations in Japanese, which was reassuring. At other times, there was only an instructor who could speak a little Japanese. Most of the instructions were about movements, so it wasn't too inconvenient, but it was frustrating that we couldn't communicate well. When things got hectic, it felt confusing. In the deeper area, we wore underwater masks to observe the dolphin's movements. Since we were wearing life jackets, we wouldn't sink, so there was no need to move our legs. Just standing straight helped maintain stability, but if we moved our legs thinking we were swimming, we would drift and couldn't stay in one spot. Also, if the jacket was too big, it would move around too much, making it unstable. The dolphin swam inside the circle created by the participants and allowed us to touch its back. If the circle wasn't neat, the dolphin would swim off in a strange direction, so it seemed important to create a well-spaced, neat circle. I held onto the dolphin's pectoral fin and swam a few meters. It felt great! We experienced kissing and interacting with the dolphin, and felt like trainers. ベストを着たらプールに移動。日陰もテントもなく、見学者の娘は暑くて参っていた。
見学者は帽子は必需品、日傘があるともっと楽。日陰は涼しいので。
1グループに１頭のイルカ。プールの深い場所の時には日本語のガイドさんが同伴なので
日本語で説明してくれ安心。その他の時は、片言の日本語ができるインストラクターのみ。
ほとんどが動作を教えるものなので、そんなに不便ではないがお互いに言葉が通じず
もどかしい思いで説明している。パニクってしまうとわけがわからない感じ。
深い場所では水中マスクを付けて、水の中のイルカの動きを観察する。
ライフベストを着けているので絶対に沈まないので足を動かす必要はない。
ただまっすぐに立っていると姿勢が安定するが、つい立ち泳ぎのつもりで足を動かすと
移動してしまって、一定の場所にいられなくなってしまう。
またベストが大きすぎると前へ後ろへ動いて安定感がないようだ。

I definitely want to interact with dolphins! For our family, who gets motion sickness, this is a dream come true to swim with dolphins without getting seasick. My 11-year-old daughter participated in the 9 AM Discovery Swim (without transportation). (The others joined at 11 AM.) We left the Marriott Hotel by taxi at 7:30 AM to check in by 8 AM. We arrived 30 minutes early, and the fare was about $46.

We waited in front of the counter from 8 AM, but the counter didn't open until just before 9 AM. The family started watching the explanatory video well after 9:30 AM. So, don't mind waiting leisurely! ← This is advice for everyone.

We entered the pool in groups of 10 to 14, divided into three groups. My daughter's Japanese group was on the sunny side, which was nice, but the water was still cold. We gave commands to the dolphins, petted their backs, and kissed them. We spent more time in the pool than I expected. My daughter had a happy smile, so I was satisfied!

見学者はテントの下にいたので暑くはなく、段差のあるベンチに座っていられる。
更衣室が少ないと知っていたので、水から上がったら急いで更衣室へ。場所確保！
冷たい水のシャワーをあびてすぐに着替える。
のんびりしていた子は震えて更衣室が空くのを待っていた。（とにかくダッシュ！）
二度とない経験なので思い切ってＤＶＤを購入した。
グループ全員個々のイルカとのキスショットが入っていて、自分の娘が映っていた時間は
ほんと～に短い時間だったので、必要な映像に対する料金としてはバリ高！
ビデオを持参していなかったし、あのアングルでの撮影はもとから無理なので
購入したことには悔いはない。

On the way to the destination, we passed by Hanauma Bay and enjoyed the stunning ocean views. After arriving, we had a brief explanation of the Sea Life Park, and then we put on jackets and moved to the area with the dolphins. Since there were many participants besides us, we were divided into groups, and our group had about eight members.

到着までにハナウマ湾を通過し、海側の絶景の景色を楽しむ
ことができました。到着後、簡単なシーライフパークの説明の後、
ジャケットを着用して、イルカのいる所に移動します。
私達以外にもたくさんの参加者がいたのでグループ分けをし、
私達のグループは８名くらいだったと思います。

イルカとは予想以上に親しくなれました。
ツルツルの体にさわったり、キスをしたり、
身近でジャンプを見れたり、今までに経験のない貴重な
体験ができました。
有料ですが、スタッフが写真を撮って、販売してくれます。
終了後は着替えて、自由行動になります。

自由行動では、カメやアザラシ、アシカの餌付けなどを見て
楽しみました。海側の景色がかなりきれいだったので、写真
をたくさん撮りました。ドルフィンアドベンチャーの時間より、
自由行動の時間の方が長かったと思います。

ちなみに参加者の約６割以上は日本人でした。
シーライフパーク内の日本人スタッフは確認できただけで３人いました。

とても貴重な体験ができたので大変感謝しています。

I went with my husband, and I had been wanting to visit Sea Life Park ever since I saw it on a TV show about Hawaii. I was looking for optional tours, and although there was a package tour available from a major travel agency, it was $22 cheaper per person to use Alan's services.

If you're planning to participate, it's better to wear your swimsuit from the hotel! I changed after arriving, but there wasn't enough time, and I ended up making the other participants wait (I apologize for that).

There were Japanese staff members, so communication in Japanese was fine.

The dolphins are incredibly cute! Being able to touch and swim with them was the best part. However, the time felt really short, and I wished I could have spent more time swimming with them.

I brought my own camera, but I couldn't take any photos at all. The staff took pictures and there was a DVD available, but the DVD was expensive, so I bought individual photos instead. They turned out to be pretty good shots, so they will serve as nice memories.

At the beginning of the Dolphin Adventure, there was a show, but I didn't realize it was happening and only saw a little bit of it. I think it would have been better if they had provided the show times and an explanation of the facility at the start.

Since I won't be able to swim with dolphins for a while, this has become a wonderful memory.

もし参加を予定している人は水着はホテルから着ていったほうがいいですよ！今回、到着してから着替えたのですが、時間がなく他の参加者を待たせてしまう感じになってしまいました。（申し訳ない）
スタッフは日本人もいて日本語でＯＫ。
なんと言ってもイルカがめちゃかわいい～。触ったり泳いだりできるなんて最高です。それの一言かな～。でも時間がすごーく短く感じました。もっと一緒に泳いでいたかったです。
写真は持っていったけど、全く取れませんでした。スタッフが写してくれた写真とＤＶＤがありますが、ＤＶＤは高かったので、写真を一枚ずつ買いました。なかなか良いショットだったので記念にはなるかなあという感じです。
最初のドルフィンアドベンチャーのところで、ショーをやるのですが、ショーをやっていることがわからず、ちょっとしか見れませんでした。最初にショーの時間と館内の説明とかがあるともっと良いと思いました。
当分イルカとは泳げないので、良い思い出になりました。

In the summer of 2005, I participated in the Dolphin Discovery Swim at Sea Life Park. It included transportation.

Participants: a total of 8 people (3 adults, 3 children, 1 observing adult, 1 toddler)
Children's ages: 7, 5, 4, and 2 years old

Since it was our first time participating, I was worried about how much the children could handle and whether they would be scared of the dolphins and drop out. However, with the children's admission being free, I felt reassured about joining.

そして、実際参加してみたら、子供達はイルカを怖がることもなく楽しいひと時をすごすことができ、子供無料はかなり得した気分になりました。

イルカに触ったりキスしたりダンスしたり、思っていた以上に盛りだくさんで大人もかなりエキサイトできます。

子供達は、半年近く過ぎた今でも、イルカの話をしているのでよっぽど楽しかったのだと思います。

　私は妻との参加で、他の日本人のかたとグループで、英語圏グループと２班だったのですが、アチラの方はノリがいいですねえ。すごく楽しそうでした。日本人だと知らない人どおしだと、どうしてもインストラクターの説明に従って動くだけになってしまいますから、今度機会があったら、仲良しグループで参加して大騒ぎしながら、イルカちゃんの飛んだりはねたりをまじかで体験して盛り上がりたいです。ＤＶＤもそのほうが楽しく観れると思います。
　当日ドタバタしないためにも、水着は始めから着用してゆくことをお勧め。シャワーや貴重品預けロッカー（無料）ありますから、終わってからゆっくり着替えられます。

I participated with my daughters (7 and 11 years old). We felt reassured during the dolphin experience because there were Japanese staff members. However, all the shows in the park were conducted in English, and both my daughters and I struggled to understand many parts.

(1) Since we participated first thing in the morning, our pickup was at 1 PM. When I requested an extension for our return time, I was told that it was conditional on participating in another activity.

(2) Photos taken during the activity were sold for $29 for two pictures, and a DVD was available for $39. As a proud parent, I ended up purchasing both, but isn't that a bit too expensive? The DVD had the date of participation written directly on it with a marker. If it costs $39, I wish they would at least use a printer.

(3) Due to the above, I signed up for the stingray experience. The explanations here were only in English. There was a snorkeling segment, but the instructions were given in English, and since it was my first time snorkeling, there was no explanation on how to breathe. Parents had to give advice from the back of the pool, and somehow, my daughters managed to keep their faces in the water and look around.

(4) After the stingray experience, the van that was supposed to pick us up at 3 PM opened its doors 15 minutes late, and we departed 40 minutes later, with no apology given. （３）上記により、エイの体験に申し込みました。ここでは英語のみの説明でした。シュノーケリングをする場面がありましたが、英語で説明が行われ、初めてのシュノーケルなのに息のつき方などの説明が皆無でした。プール後ろから親があれこれ、アドバイスをしてどうにか水に顔を浸けたまま水中を見ることが出来たようです。
（４）エイの体験終了後、３時のピックアップに対し集合場所にいたバンがドアを開けたのが１５分後、出発したのが４０分後、謝罪皆無。
嫌な思いもたくさんしましたが、娘たちはそれなりに満足した様で、次はドルフィンアドベンチャーに参加したいと言ってました。

I thought dolphins were cute before going, but since they are still animals, I had some anxiety about touching them. However, once the experience started, my worries quickly disappeared, and they were just adorable. They are gentle and very intelligent. I have a visual impairment and was looking for optional tours that I could enjoy using my other senses rather than just sight. My husband happened to find this tour where we could touch dolphins live, so we made a reservation from Japan in advance.

On the day of the tour, we entered the pool wearing life jackets. The water was cold, and everyone was vocal about it, but we quickly forgot about the chill because Ichii, the dolphin, appeared. Following the staff's instructions, we lined up and extended our arms. Ichii swam right beneath our hands on its back. It was my first time touching a dolphin's belly, and it felt rubbery yet smooth, quite different from what I had imagined.

After that, we went to the island in the center of the pool and waited. One by one, we would grab onto the dolphin's fin and swim. The staff explained how to hold onto the fin, but I was anxious about whether I could grab it at the right moment since I couldn't see.

However, when it was my turn, a female staff member stood right behind me and helped me. When the dolphin swam in front of me, she guided my hand to grab the fin. Ichii pulled me along swiftly, and I felt a pleasant breeze all over my face; it was an indescribably refreshing feeling.

I participated with my son this time. I was excited about being able to touch dolphins even before the tour, but it turned out to be an event that was even more fun than I expected. (You can see from the expressions in the photos.) I was surprised that dolphins have such smooth and soft bodies, and above all, I was amazed at how intelligent and cute they are. I had heard on TV that dolphins have a healing effect, and it was truly the case; they really calmed my mind. My wife, who was in charge of taking photos, kept regretting that she wanted to participate as well, so I highly recommend that everyone join in!

今回息子と二人で参加しました。
ツアー参加前からイルカに触れられるという事でワクワクしていましたが
実際予想以上に楽しいイベントとなりました。

In the summer of 2005, I participated in the Dolphin Discovery Swim at Sea Life Park. It included transportation.

Participants: 8 people in total (3 adults, 3 children, 1 observing adult, 1 toddler)
Children were aged 7, 5, 4, and 2.

We gathered at the bus stop of the Sheraton Waikiki. We boarded the bus after an uncle shouted, "Sea Life Park!! Mr. ○○!!" He also spoke Japanese. About half of the passengers were foreigners and half were Japanese, filling the large bus in about 8 minutes. Inside the bus, they kept the atmosphere light by alternating between speaking Japanese and English. We headed to Sea Life Park after stopping at two pickup locations.

After arriving, tickets, paper wristbands, and contracts were distributed, and we were dismissed. Some people immediately joined the activities. Since we had time until 1:15 PM, we first went to see the sea lion show. Because there were many small children, we brought our own lunch. We warmed up curry in a retort pouch and rice at the hotel and packed it in an insulated bag. We spread a sheet in the shade and enjoyed our lunch like a picnic. *Light snacks like hot dogs are sold inside Sea Life Park. Afterward, since we had time, we watched the dolphin pirate show.

　途中、2箇所のピックアップ場所を経由してｼｰﾗｲﾌﾊﾟｰｸへ向かいました。

I traveled with my husband, but I participated in the Dolphin Adventure by myself. The dolphins were incredibly cute and smart, much more than I had imagined, and it was truly moving. I had three photos taken, and although I thought $16 for the largest one was really expensive, I decided to buy it. The DVD (about 10-15 minutes) was $49, which I thought was too high, so I didn't purchase it, but it seemed like the honeymooners were buying it. The tour lasted 5 hours and I was with the dolphins for about an hour, which went by so quickly. I wanted to spend a bit more time with them, but I guess this is the limit for their health. The person who picked us up was a foreigner, and there was no explanation. I thought I would be told about the meeting place and time for the return trip once we arrived, but instead, it was straight to check-in, changing, watching the dolphin explanation video, and then playing with the dolphins. After that, we were free to explore the park, but there was no explanation about the return meeting time or place, and I couldn't find anyone else who was on the shuttle bus with me, so I ended up taking the bus back to the hotel by myself. は想像よりめちゃくちゃ可愛くおりこうで感動でした。写真は３枚撮ってもらいそのうちの１枚（１番大きいサイズ）16ドルで凄く高いと思いましたがおもいきって購入しました。DVD（１０～１５分位）４９ドルこれは高すぎで購入しませんでしたが、ハネムーナーらしき人達は購入してました。５時間３０のツアーでイルカと一緒にいられるのは１時間位であっというまでした。もう少し一緒にいたいけど、イルカの体調のためにはこれくらいが限度なのですかね～、送迎してくれた方は外国のかたで、何も説明が無く、向こうについたら帰りの集合場所や時間など言われるのかと思いきや、到着後すぐ受付-着替え-イルカの説明ビデオ見て-イルカと遊んでという具合でその後は園内を自由散策でしたが、帰りの集合時間場所の説明はとうとう無く、一緒に送迎バスに乗った人もみつけられなかったので水族館から１人でThe　ｂｕｓに乗ってホテルまで帰りました。他の方々はどうなさったのでしょうか？

I previously experienced "Splash U" twice, and this time I'm trying the dolphin training experience for the third time. For my third visit, I challenged the upgraded version of Splash U, the "Dolphin Discovery Swim," on June 1.

At 8 AM, the driver from Sea Life Park came to pick me up. He only speaks English but is very chatty and cheerful. When passing by the Honolulu Zoo, he always cracks jokes like, "Last time, a tiger escaped," and "Some people got eaten," making everyone laugh. The bus was full this time, with about 70% of the participants being foreigners.

After arriving at the site, we checked in at the entrance and put on optional wristbands. Then we entered and moved to the reception center. (By the way, since the program starts at 9:15, it's better to wear your swimsuit from the hotel beforehand.) The Japanese participants included my family (two adults and one child) and another family of three, totaling six people. Inside, we signed a contract and watched an explanatory video. ３度目の今回はスプラッシュＵがバージョンアップした

６月１日にチャレンジしてきました。

ピックアップ時間の８時にシーライフパークの運転手が
迎えに来てくれました。
この方は英語しか話せませんが、お喋りで陽気な方で
ホノルル動物園の脇を通るときに、「この前、虎が逃げた」
「何人か食われた」というギャグを必ずかましたりして
いつも参加者を笑わせてくれます。
バスの中は今回は満員状態でした。７：３位で外国の方が多かったです。

さて、現地に到着後、入り口にて確認をおこなってから
腕にオプショナルサインの腕輪をはめます。
そして中に入場して、受付センターに移動しました。
（そうそう、９時１５分からのスタートなのでホテルから
事前に水着を来て参加された方がいいですよ）
日本人の参加者は我が家（大人２名、子供１名）と
もう一組の家族３名の計６名でした。
中では契約書にサインをしてから説明ビデオを鑑賞します。
それから日本語担当の担当者：ＫＥＩＫＯさんが追加の説明を行って、
いよいよイルカプールへ移動します。
現場に着くと早速ライフジャケットを着ます。スプラッシュＵの時は
おしりの下程度の水深までしか入りませんでしたが、
今回は胸くらいまでつかる水深の所にまで入っていきます。
子供は両家族ともに小さく（我が家は５歳）親に抱っこされての参加です。
内容はイルカに触れたり、餌を与えたり、自分たちの合図でイルカが
目の前でジャンプしたり、水をかけられたりします（笑）
子供達は大きなイルカにビビリまくっていましたが、イルカに
触れてとても満足そうでした。

記念撮影時にはイルカとキスをしたり、握手をした時を撮ってくれます。
また今回は写真だけでなく映像（ＤＶＤ）も同時に撮影してくれていますので
記念に写真とＤＶＤの両方を購入してきました。

ちょっと残念なのはスプラッシュＵの時は「アカデミー」だったので
卒業証書がもらえたのですが、今回はありませんでした。
しかし、内容自体は本当にパワーアップと言うよりも
全てが変わっている感じです。スプラッシュＵに参加した時は
満足していました

I went on June 2nd. It was my first experience on my third trip to Hawaii. Even though I'm not a good swimmer, I felt safe and enjoyed myself wearing a life jacket. The tour guide was Japanese and provided simultaneous interpretation, so I was able to understand the explanations clearly. Each person got to kiss a dolphin, swim while holding onto its fin, and I even heard the dolphin's "kikiki" sound. I was truly satisfied and felt healed. ^^

However, one downside was that I thought, "There's no way to take pictures during this experience." The staff took three photos (one of the dolphin kissing my cheek, one of me kissing its mouth in return, and one of me swimming while holding onto its fin), but they weren't very good... My friend's face wasn't visible at all, and I was told that the photo of me kissing the dolphin in return was missing... I reluctantly gave up and bought just two photos to take home. There was also a DVD of the experience, but it was a bit pricey...

Well, who cares about the photos! I think anyone who just wants to touch dolphins will be satisfied. They were so cute! ☆★☆

６月２日に行ってきました。
ハワイ３度目にしてはじめての経験。泳ぎの苦手な私でもライフジャケットを着てだったので安心して楽しめました。ツアーガイドの方は日本の方で同時通訳をしながらだったので、説明もきちんと受けられました。一人一人イルカとキスしたり、ヒレにつかまって泳ぐことが出来たり、イルカの『キキキ』という声も聞くことが出来たし、本当に大満足で癒されました^^
ただ、難点は、体験して「これじゃ、撮ることは無理だな」とは思ったけど、写真が撮れないこと。スタッフの方が、３枚（イルカがほっぺにチュー、おかえしに口にチュー、ヒレにつかまって泳ぐ）を撮ってくれるのですが、あまり上手ではなく･･･。友達は全く顔が映っていなかったり、私はとったはずなのにお返しに口にチューした写真が無いと言われ･･･。泣く泣くあきらめ２枚だけ買って帰りました。体験中のDVDもありましたがちょっとお高め。。。
ま、写真なんてどうでもいい！イルカととにかく触れたいという方は満足行くと思います。
と～てもかわいかったです☆★☆
