I participated in Dolphin Adventure. From the beginning, I was really looking forward to swimming with the dolphins. After receiving the explanation, we were ready to swim, but the dolphins' mood... According to the instructor, dolphins are mammals and have feelings. So, when they are not in the mood, they switch them out to avoid forcing them. I realized again that dolphins have feelings too! Finally, we had a dolphin that was ready to swim with us, and we got into the water. It was my first time touching a dolphin, and I was surprised by the strange sensation. I participated with my 5-year-old son. The dolphins were incredibly cute! We got to touch them a lot, and my son was very excited. However, there were many Japanese people in our group, and we ended up in the same group as only foreigners. The instructor who could speak Japanese was translating for the Japanese group from the back. I could understand the instructions, but it was disappointing that I couldn't translate the explanations about the dolphins for my child. It appeared that they didn't understand the attractions we had reserved unless we explained them ourselves. Additionally, even though we had arranged for a later return time, there was a miscommunication, and we ended up having to take the bus back, which was quite a hassle.
However, the Dolphin Adventure was truly amazing as we got to interact a lot with the dolphins. It was so much fun to swim while holding onto the dolphins' pectoral fins and to kiss them.
In terms of food, places like this usually don't have much that suits my taste, but the hot dogs and cheese toast were really delicious.
I realized that a basic level of English is necessary.

I participated in the Dolphin Adventure without transportation on March 17, after seeing Alan. I received a prompt response to my request, which made me feel at ease about joining. It seemed to have been cold until the day before, but the weather was truly beautiful on the day itself. We were divided into two groups, one with eight Japanese and another with seven foreigners, and we interacted with the dolphins in a pool facing the stunning blue sea. Today, the dolphins were in good condition, and my wife and daughter were looking forward to swimming with them. The dolphins turned upside down, and finally, my wife and daughter got to hold onto their pectoral fins (it wasn't the tail fin that day) for a rendezvous. Everyone got to swim with the dolphins. I captured my wife and daughter's amazing smiles on video! As for me? I ended up being the videographer, not expecting to have so much fun. I regretted not participating in such a wonderful activity! I participated with my mother! I was anxious because I can't swim, but I was okay thanks to the life jacket. My mother, in her 50s, seemed more anxious than I was, but once it started, she had a great time! Since we participated in the first session of the morning, the water was extremely cold, but I forgot all about that because the dolphins were so cute and it was so much fun! I participated on February 13th. I was really moved by my long-awaited interaction with the dolphins! When I attended, there were three Japanese staff members, which made me feel very secure about participating.

I was able to hold onto the dorsal fin and swim for just a few seconds, but there were plenty of other opportunities to interact, so I was fully satisfied. However, it was disappointing that I couldn't take photos with my own camera. They do have a photographer who takes pictures that you can purchase, but I found it expensive—about $25 for three prints of the same shot in different sizes—so I didn't buy them.

Since Sea Life Park is a bit far, I recommend heading out early. Even if you arrive early, you can watch the dolphin show, so you’ll have plenty of time to fill. I took the Blue Line trolley bus to get there. You can also ask the staff at the entrance for the bus schedule for your return trip, so you’ll be fine.

背びれにつかまって泳げるのはほんの数秒でしたが
それ以外にも、触れ合える時間がたくさんあったので
充分満足でした。
ただ、一緒に自分のカメラで撮影することはできなかったのが
残念でした。一応、向こうのカメラマンが撮影してくれた写真を
購入できるのですが１ショットを違うサイズで３枚現像された
物が確か２５ドルぐらいしたので私は高くて購入しませんでした。

シーライフパークは少し遠いので早めに出かけられることをおすすめします。
早く着いてもイルカのショーを見たりできるので時間は充分に潰せます。
私は、トロリーバスのブルーラインで行きました。
帰りのバスの時間もシーライフパークの入り口の係員に聞けば時刻表を
もらえるので大丈夫です。

I made a reservation in advance with Alan, and on the day of the event, the Sea Life Park bus picked us up at the hotel on time, and we arrived at the location without any issues. The dolphins were so cute, and the kids were thrilled. They got to touch the dolphins' backs, feed them, and even touch their teeth when they opened their mouths. The children were really looking forward to interacting with the dolphins nearby. The dolphins were well-behaved and participated happily. I think even younger elementary school students can understand and join in without any issues.

We participated in the no transportation plan at 3 PM with a group of four. The Dolphin Adventure was amazing. We were really looking forward to it before going, and after participating in the activities, all four of us returned completely satisfied. The dolphins are incredibly cute. The activities included touching the dolphins directly and observing them underwater while wearing masks, making for a packed 45 minutes that flew by. At the end, we were able to swim while holding onto the dolphin's dorsal fin. The staff took photos for us, and there were also Japanese staff members who were very kind. We participated in the early morning Dolphin Adventure with transportation included as a couple. Since we went to Hawaii to swim with dolphins, this activity was extremely satisfying.

First, there was an explanation of the program. They mentioned that we would swim while holding onto the dolphin's dorsal fin, which made me feel at ease. We started by taking pictures while swimming together. The dolphins were adorable, and it was a dream come true.

I participated in early December. It was a bit cold with a passing rain shower on the day, but the opportunity to interact directly with dolphins is rare, making it a valuable experience. There were about 10 people in total, divided into two groups: Japanese and Westerners. The staff had a great vibe, allowing us to relax and enjoy a fun time without any pressure. I definitely want to go again next time in the hot summer!

I participated in the 11 AM session without transportation, and it was so much fun! I left Waikiki around 8:30 AM by rental car, and after stopping a few times at scenic spots, I arrived at the park in about an hour (the parking fee is $3). It was very quiet in the morning, so I walked around the park before heading to the adventure check-in.

About 16 people participated, and we were split evenly into Japanese and English groups. There are two pools for training and swimming together. We were able to swim with the dolphins, but it was more about swimming on our own while touching the dolphins' heads with one hand, and it only lasted about 5 meters. There was no explanation about anyone feeling unwell that day, so if there are fewer participants, I wonder if they would pull each person along?

After that, I watched the dolphin show at 12:30 and bought some photos to take home. I was worried about my glasses and contacts, but my glasses were fine on the beachside, and there are goggles for the contacts, so it was okay. I brought an underwater camera, but underwater photography was not allowed, and there was no time to take pictures at all.

Even though it was different from what I imagined, I enjoyed it enough to recommend it! ☆

レンタカーでワイキキを８時半頃出発、途中に何度か景色の良い所で下車しながら一時間で園に到着です（園の駐車場は＄３）。午前中はとても空いていたので、園内を一周してからアドベンチャーの受付にいきました。
１６人位が参加しましたが、丁度半分ずつ日本語と英語のグループに分けられました。調教と、一緒に泳ぐためのプール二つがあります。一緒に泳ぐことはできましたが、４人ずつイルカの頭の辺りを片手で触りながら自分の力で泳ぐ、という感じでした。５ｍ程一緒に泳ぐだけであっさり終わりです。その日体調が悪いなどの説明はなかったので、参加人数が少なければ一人ずつ引っ張ってもらえるのかな？
その後１２時半のイルカショーを見て、写真を買って帰りました。メガネとコンタクトが心配でしたが、メガネはビーチサイドに、コンタクトは水中眼鏡があるので大丈夫です。水中カメラを持っていきましたが、水中撮影は不可で撮る暇も全くないです。
想像とは違っても十分楽しめたので、おすすめです☆

I attended with my daughter on October 26. Since my daughter is a bit timid, she reached a state of extreme anxiety from the dolphin splash attack that was part of the service, and after that, she clung to my leg and wouldn't let go. However, I think it was a good experience since it's not often that you get to touch a dolphin. The Sea Life Park itself was much smaller than I had imagined, which was a bit disappointing, but on the other hand, it might have been nice that it was cozy and had a rural feel.

It was amazing. The dolphins were very calm, obedient, sensitive, and truly soothing to the heart. I felt like I wanted to be with the dolphins forever. We had a great time with them, so we were satisfied, but when I thought about how many people they have to interact with every day, I felt really sorry for them. It made me reflect a bit on human selfishness, but the dolphins are the best.

I think it's worth experiencing at least once in a lifetime because you can not only see them but also touch them, feed them, and swim while holding onto their dorsal fins. You can also see various other marine creatures besides dolphins. However, the park is quite large, and the feeding show has set times, so it's impossible to see everything within a limited time. The main dolphin show alone is satisfying, but considering that lunch is also on each individual, the pricing is a bit on the higher side. Additionally, the digital camera prints for photos with the dolphins are very expensive at $26 for one shot. I participated thinking I might be able to swim with the dolphins. I understood that it might not be possible depending on the dolphins' condition. However, I wished they would have said something like, "You won't be able to swim with the dolphins today." Until the end, I was hopeful that I would get to swim with them...
Other than that, I was satisfied. I got to touch the dolphins a little, and they were so cute and healing＾＾

On October 7, it was sunny. I participated in the Dolphin Adventure that I had reserved with my sister and a friend. Since the pickup location was a bit far from our hotel, we left early and waited at the designated spot. At exactly 9:45, the bus arrived. (Generally, other tours tend to be quite late, which makes you anxious. I wonder if people in Hawaii are more laid-back?) When the driver, who spoke broken English, called my name and I took my seat, the bus was full of excited guests since it was a popular tour.

After picking up guests from other hotels, we finally arrived at Sea Life Park just before 11:00. We were scheduled to participate at 1:30, so we explored the park until then, had lunch at a restaurant (more like a snack bar) inside, and gathered at the initially designated spot 10 minutes early. We received instructions and explanations in Japanese (there's a locker to store valuables at that spot. Since you need to wear your swimsuit from the start, the locker is a bit small for changing clothes. Beach sandals are a must!!), and finally, we got to meet the dolphins.

Our group was all Japanese, so I was a bit worried about the language, but the staff spoke fluent Japanese. We even got to mimic some training, and the dolphins listened very well. Although I couldn't swim while holding onto their dorsal fins, I was thrilled to be able to swim slowly alongside them while touching them. 日本語で参加するための注意や説明を受けて、（その場所に貴重品を入れておくロッカーがある。水着を最初から着用しておくため、着替えるときは着替えもそのロッカーに入れるため少し小さい。ビーチサンダルは必須!!）いよいよイルカとご対面。
私たちの組は日本人の方ばかりだったので言葉が不安でしたが、スタッフの方も日本語がペラペラでした。
調教の真似事もさせてもらったのですが、イルカはとってもよく言うことを聞いてくれました。
背びれにつかまって泳ぐことはできませんでしたが、イルカに触れたまま一緒にゆっくりと泳ぐことができてとっても感激でした。
プログラムが終了してすぐ出発だったので、着替える場所が2箇所しかなく大変でしたけどイルカと写した写真も買って3人大満足でした。

Last time I went to Hawaii, I had a great time watching a show at Sea Life Park, so this time I decided to participate in the Dolphin Adventure as the main event of my trip to Hawaii.

I was so excited after reading all the satisfied comments from previous participants. I was told that if the dolphins were not feeling well, we might not be able to swim with them, so I tried not to get my hopes up too high, but I was still looking forward to it just in case it happened on the day of the event.

I drove directly to the location with a rental car and participated in the second-to-last session at 1:30 PM.

As for my experience, I was thrilled to be able to touch the dolphins, but it felt like almost half of the time was spent posing with the dolphins for photos.

I got to peek at the dolphins jumping through my goggles and we sent signals to the dolphins as a group using about four different training commands. After touching the dolphins several times, a Japanese trainer asked me, "How was it? Was it good? It was good, right?" and I thought, "Wait? Is this it?!" It felt a bit anticlimactic. Other Japanese participants shared the same sentiment.

Even so, I was glad to have had a valuable experience and was somewhat satisfied. However, when I changed out of my swimsuit and peeked at the next session, I was surprised to see that they were doing the "holding onto the dorsal fin and swimming one by one," which hadn’t been done in our session just moments before.

We had been talking about how it seemed the dolphins were not feeling well that day, and while we couldn’t do it, I was shocked to learn that some sessions allowed for swimming with the dolphins. I had been looking forward to it, so it was a bit of a letdown. Of course, the dolphins' health is important, but I wondered if there were other circumstances involved. Were different dolphins used for each session? I thought maybe the last session had more time available, but to have such a difference in experience just one hour apart on the same day... there was no explanation during the activity, so I couldn’t quite accept it.

Additionally, after the activity ended, there were only two changing rooms, and while waiting for my turn and going to the restroom (which was far away), the next session started right away, and there was no one left to show us the DVD or photo samples. After waiting for a while...

体験者の皆さんの大満足のコメントを読んで、ワクワクして仕方ありませんでした。
イルカの体調が悪いと背びれにつかまって泳ぐことが出来ない場合がある、ということでしたので、期待しすぎないように、でも、当日もし出来たらいいな～と、楽しみにして行きました。
レンタカーで直接現地に向かい、最後から２つ目の１３：３０の回に参加しました。

実際参加した感想として、イルカに触れることが出来て感激でしたが、半分近くがイルカとポーズをとりカメラに向かう、という写真撮影の時間という感じでした。

ジャンプする時のイルカの様子を水中めがねで覗いたり、４パターンほどある調教の合図をグループで一斉にイルカに送ってみたり、何度かイルカを触らせてもらううちに、
日本人調教師の方に「どうですか？良かったですか？ね、良かったでしょう」と言われて、え？これで終わり？！と思いました。ちょっと呆気なかったです。
他に参加されていた日本人の方も同意見でした。

それでも、貴重な体験が出来て良かったね、とそれなりに納得していたのですが、
水着から着替えて次の回を覗いてみると、ついさっきまでの回ではしていなかった“背びれにつかまって一人ずつ泳がせてもらう”というのが行われていて、ビックリしました。
それまで「今日はイルカの体調が悪かったみたいで、残念だったね」と話していたのですが、自分たちは出来なかったけれど、回によっては泳がせてもらえると知って、楽しみにしていただけにちょっとショックでした。
イルカの体調も勿論でしょうが、他に何か都合でもあるのでしょうか。回によって違うイルカなのでしょうか？
最後の回は時間に余裕がある為に可能なのかとも思ってみたのですが、同じ日で、しかもたった１時間違いで差があるなんて・・・アクティビティ中は全く説明も無かっただけに、ちょっと納得いきませんでした。

また、アクティビティ終了後、着替える部屋が２つしかなく、順番を待ったり、トイレ（遠い）に行っているうちにすぐ次の回が始まったせいか、ＤＶＤや写真のサンプルを見せてもらおうにも係員の方が一人も居なくなってしまいました。

I participated alone for the first time. My group was all foreigners, and I was the only Japanese person! I joined while only understanding half of the explanations in English, but it was amazing to swim while holding onto the dolphin's fin! However, the pickup on the way back was tough because we had to wait for 4 hours.

I was thrilled to touch the dolphins. The time went by so quickly. I wish I could have interacted with the dolphins more. We participated in the afternoon session starting at 3 PM. I wanted a photo with the dolphins, but I couldn't get one before the meeting time for our return, so I ended up not buying it. It seems that those who participated at 2:30 PM were able to buy their photos, but we, who joined at 3 PM, couldn't get the photos that others wanted as well. Since couples participating can't take pictures of themselves interacting with the dolphins from the outside, I think it would be better if they considered the time to buy photos when setting the return meeting time. I really hope they can do something about this.

もっとイルカと触れ合ったりしたかったな～
私達は午後の部での１５時からに参加しました。イルカと一緒にとった写真がほしかったのですが、帰りの集合時間までに出来てなく結局買えませんでした。14時３０からの人たちは写真を買えたみたいですが、私達１５時からの参加の写真は、ほかの人達も欲しかったのに買えずじまい…。カップルとかで参加した人達はイルカと触れ合ってる写真を外からとれない訳なんだしせめて写真を買える時間を考えて帰りの集合時間を設定していただければいいと思う。これに関してはちょっとどうにかしてほしいとおもった。

I participated in a tour where I could touch dolphins for the first time, and I absolutely think everyone should go at least once. My wife was also very satisfied and said she was glad to join. Our family had two children, aged 17 and 14, participate. Since it was required for parents to accompany children under 18, my husband and I attended as photographers and chaperones.

At the check-in counter, we were given documents and asked to sign after confirming the details. We received the documents in English, but it seemed there was also a Japanese version available.

On the day of the event, participants were divided into Japanese and English groups, and we first received important information. Then, we had the opportunity to touch the dolphins and play with them by giving commands like jumping. At this point, the Japanese group was further split into two, so it ended up being one instructor and one dolphin for every four participants, allowing for a very close interaction with the dolphins. However, the instructors spoke very little Japanese, so our children, who spoke English, ended up translating for the other participants.

After that, we got to swim with the dolphins. The dolphins were much stronger and faster than we expected, pulling us along quickly, so the photographers needed to be quick on their feet!

The instructors were very friendly and explained everything thoroughly, and the program itself provided a truly wonderful experience. We were glad to participate.

You can choose and purchase photos and DVDs according to your preference. If you only want photos, they are ready in about 5 to 10 minutes after the activity, but if you order a DVD, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. We spent that time having lunch, so it went by quickly.

チェックインカウンターでは書類を渡され、了解事項を確認後サインを求められます。
我が家は英語の書類でしたが、日本語版もあったようです。

当日の参加者は日本語のグループと英語のグループに分けられ、まず最初に注意事項などを受けます。次に実際にイルカに触れたり、ジャンプなどの指示をしてイルカと遊べます。この時に更に日本語グループ内で2つに分かれましたので実際には4人に対して一人のインストラクター&一匹のイルカという感じになり、とても身近にイルカに触れる事ができたようです。
ただこの時のインストラクターの方達は日本語が本当にカタコトしか喋れなく、英語を話す我が家の子供達が他の参加者の方に通訳をして説明していました。

その後に、イルカと実際に泳ぐ事ができます。
イルカは予想よりも遥かに力強く、素早いスピードで人間を引っ張って行きますので、カメラマンの方は素早い動きが必要ですよ(笑)

インストラクターの方はとてもフレンドリーに丁寧に説明していましたし、プログラム事態もとても素晴らしい体験ができ、参加できて良かったです。

写真とDVDを自分の好みで選んで購入する事ができます。
写真だけならアクティビティ参加後、5～10分で出来上がりますが、DVDを頼むと1時間～1時間半、仕上げにかかると言われましたが、その間、ランチをして過ごしていましたのであっと言う間でした。

このプログラムに参加した方は、食事が10%OFFで食べれますので、参加した時に腕につけて貰うバンドは、シーライフパークを出るまではずさない方がいいですよ。

It's quite a show. However, the pirate show might be a bit boring if you don't understand English. But you might be able to understand it somewhat? You should definitely go at least once. The nearby sea was really beautiful.
