I cannot begin to say how much fun I had on this cruise. Not only did we get to see whales, and the captain did a great job of getting as close as he could without disturbing them, but the activities and food on-board made the experience just THAT MUCH BETTER! It was a great experience being able to go to the top deck and view the whales and then head down into the ship for a very yummy buffet lunch. Boy were we full after that :) Cannot wait for next year so we can do this again. Two thumbs WAY WAY up!

one of the things my family wanted to do when we went to hawaii was go whale watching since we live hundreds of miles from the ocean, we figured that this would be a great opportunity and boy were we right! the staff did a great job of keeping everyone on board up to date with what was happening with the whales and the cruise was really smooth too.

My husband and I did this our first day and I was a little nervous about it, but once you get up in the air its so cool! I didn't know just how bad my husband was afraid of heights cause he got pretty scared, but you're attached to a parachute! I felt bad for dragging him up there with me, but I really loved it - a once in a lifetime thing, so why not do it while you're in Hawaii? I also read some other comments about how there was pressure to tip, but I didn't feel that way, yeah, there were 20's taped to the boat and they did ask that we "take care of them" but I thought it was only proper to tip so I gave them 10 bucks for the both of us. Don't let something like that ruin, or keep you from trying this. It was Awesome! FYI: bring a waterproof disposable camera up with you for some great shots!

We had a great time on this tour. The group was small, so the guide could be flexible and give individual attention to each participant. There was a range of activities so you could choose how active you wanted to be. We did the Wailea Falls hike and stand-up paddling. We had lunch at the cafe at Wailea Falls, very good Hawaiian-style food. We were glad we paid the extra for an instructor on the paddling as it was challenging. I would only recommend doing it on your own if you are experienced. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in learning more about the North Shore.

The ship departed with nearly 30 passengers on board. The sunset, just before it disappeared, was truly beautiful. However, shortly after boarding, I found it difficult to hold in my need to use the restroom, which was quite challenging. I held on for a while but didn’t realize there was a portable toilet available. The foreign guests were drinking and having a great time, chatting a lot. I would like to learn from them.

I have been on a catamaran several times and I really love it. This time, I had my father, who is over 60, ride it for the first time. Just before departure, thick clouds appeared, which was quite disappointing, but it seems that the charm of the catamaran cutting through the wind on the open sea was conveyed to my father. While the sunset time is nice, I personally recommend the daytime more. Under the sun, with a delicious drink in hand, relaxing to cheerful music and the rhythm of the waves... it's the best! The staff at the reception can speak Japanese.

乗馬する牧場(～!)へ着くと、英語のみの説明になり、戸惑いましたが、牧場のお母さんが英語ながら一生懸命説明してくれたので、終始楽しく乗馬できました。
日本の牧場と違い９０分も乗馬できるので、非常に満足できます。
再来年のハワイ旅行でも是非参加したいと思いますが、昼食代などが含まれていないので、ツアー代金が８０~１００ドルほどになると良いなと思いました。

This time, my youngest child was just tall enough to meet the height requirement, so we were able to ride a submarine for the first time! We traveled by boat to board the submarine, and it was great to see Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea. I was worried about getting seasick, but I managed to board the submarine without any issues. The underwater view was not as clear as I had expected, and as I had heard, the coral was in a dying state, which gave me a different impression of the underwater world than I had imagined. Two foreign staff members assisted us, one as the driver and the other explaining the parasailing and helping us put on life jackets.

They provided explanations in both English and Japanese, so it was fine even if you didn't understand English.

While the foreigners flew one by one, I requested to go up together with another person.

At first, the boat sped off quickly, which was overwhelming, but once we were flying, it wasn't scary at all!

In fact, the wind was refreshing and the view was great☆

At the end, they playfully dropped us into the sea, but if you say "NO," they won't let you fall. Haha!

The flying experience went by in a flash!!

It was $15, and they also took photos. Since it was on film, we couldn't check them on the spot, but they had a telephoto lens, so they took pictures even after we were flying. I’m looking forward to the 24 shots we took.

あっという間のフライングでした！！

15ドルでしたから写真も撮ってくれます。
フィルムなのでその場で確認することは出来ませんが、望遠レンズ付なので飛んでからも写真を撮っていました。24枚取りで出来上がりが楽しみです。

If you want to go horseback riding but don't want to do it at Kualoa and would like to do some sightseeing as well, I think this is a great option.

There were six participants, two people in three groups.

After being picked up before 9 AM, we were taken by our guide Wayne to Moanalua (the tree, what kind of tree is this?) → Dole → Haleiwa (for lunch) → North Shore (to see turtles) → horseback riding → and then back home.

It seemed that all the participants this time were repeat visitors who had already experienced the classic Oahu sightseeing course before horseback riding, so I thought it would be nice if we could arrange stops based on the participants' preferences.

The horseback riding was fantastic. Unlike Kualoa, where you ride in large groups for about 30 minutes, this time there were only eight of us: four Japanese, one from the West, and three from Southeast Asia, allowing us to take our time and climb the mountain over 90 minutes. It didn't feel at all like the experience of being "just put on a horse and walked" as it does at large facilities.

For some reason, the horse I rode had a habit of walking along the right edge of the mountain path, constantly bumping into trees and leaves.

It seems that the operation is run by a man and a woman who appear to be the owners, so there might be some horses that haven't been trained well. That was interesting in its own way. My wife was laughing the whole time watching me bump into the trees!

乗馬は最高でした。クアロアのように大人数で３０分程度というわけではなくて、今回は日本人４人、欧米系１人、東南アジア系３人＝８人というこじんまりとした人数でゆっくり９０分掛けて山を登ります。大規模施設での乗馬のように「乗せられて、ただ歩いた」って感じはまったくありません。

私の乗った馬はなぜか山道の右端ばかりを歩く（癖）ので木にや葉っぱに当たりっぱなしでした。

オーナーと思わしき男性と女性の２名で切り盛りしているようですので、中には調教がうまくいっていない馬もいるのでしょう。
それはそれで、おもしろかったです。ちょいちょい木に当たる自分を見て妻は終始大爆笑でした！

Since my horseback riding experience at a ranch in Hokkaido, I had been thinking, "I want to ride a horse again!!" When I found this activity, I immediately signed up. There were other horseback riding tours available, but I chose this one because it offered a Japanese-speaking guide.

In the morning, I was picked up from my hotel and we headed to Dole Plantation and the North Shore, stopping at each participant's hotel. Along the way, our guide Wayne shared various stories in fluent Japanese, making the car ride enjoyable and never boring.

At Dole Plantation, our time was short, so I couldn't try the popular pineapple soft serve, but I was happy to visit since I had wanted to go there. Taking photos with the train in the background before departure also became a nice memory. By the way, the restrooms at Dole Plantation are spacious and clean, so I recommend using them.

Shortly after leaving Dole Plantation, the beautiful sea of the North Shore came into view, and I felt a rush of excitement. Our guide kindly parked the car in front of the famous North Shore sign, allowing us to take commemorative photos.

ドールプランテーションでは滞在時間が短いので、人気のパイナップルのソフトクリームを食することができませんでしたが、一度訪れてみたいと思っていましたので、嬉しかったです。
発車前の汽車をバックに写真撮影できたことも良い思い出になりました。
余談ですが、ドールプランテーションのお手洗いは広くてきれいなので、こちらでお手洗いを済ませることをお勧めします。

ドールプランテーションを出発してしばらすると眼前にノースショアの美しい海が目に入り、何だか興奮してしまいました。
有名なノースショアの看板の前で、わざわざ駐車して下さるので、こちらでも記念撮影できます。

ノースショアの街で早めの昼食タイムがあります。
私たちは日曜日の参加でしたので、「フリフリチキン」の屋台（？）で昼食を取りました。
ノースショアで有名なシュリンプのお店もありましたが、「フリフリチキン」は土日のマーケットでしか味わえないと聞いていたので、迷わず決めました。
「辛いのかなぁ」とドキドキしていたら、程よいスパイシーさで美味しかったです。
お店の人がスターフルーツのお漬物（？）みたいなのを配って下さり、そちらも美味しかったです。

昼食が終わると、いよいよ乗馬になります。
渓谷乗馬チームが先に山の牧場へ送っていただきました。
ここで日本語が堪能なウェインさんとはお別れです（泣）。

山の牧場では、日本語の説明は全くなく、ＡＬＬ英語で聞き取るのに必死で、最初は泣きそうになりましたが、スタッフのおばさんが身振り手振りで一生懸命説明してくれたので、英語が分からない不安さは次第に消えて行きました。

私の乗った馬は、非常に自由気ままな馬で、のどが渇いたりすると勝手に水桶へ向かってしまったりと「手ごわそう」な雰囲気だ

My husband experienced it for the first time in 20 years, and it was my first experience, but the staff taught us various things in advance, so we felt safe entering the sea. We had a lesson with three people, including someone from Europe, and they helped us compare the waves so that everyone could ride equally. It was exciting to ride the waves and I was thrilled. I definitely want to participate again.

I participated in the 9 o'clock session with a friend. It was quite empty, so we were able to sit comfortably inside the submarine. We saw sea turtles multiple times, and it was interesting to experience the blue world. The diving time was longer than I expected, lasting about an hour. However, the noise from the motor at the back of the submarine was terrible, and I could hardly hear the explanations, which was disappointing. I recommend sitting at the front in the direction of travel.

結構空いていたので、潜水艦内はゆったりと座れました。
海ガメも何度も見れたし、ブルーの世界を体験できて面白かったです。潜水時間も思ったより長く、1時間くらいありました。ただ艦内後ろ側のモータ？音がひどくて説明がほとんど聞き取れなかったのが残念でした。進行方向の前側に座るのがお勧めです。

This was my second time in Hawaii. I had visited the North Shore before and loved the scenery and the town, so I wanted to go back. This tour included sightseeing at places I had been to before, like Moanalua Gardens and Dole, but I thought it would be fun to go horseback riding on the North Shore, so my husband and I decided to join.

At Turtle Beach, we met turtles for the first time, which we hadn't encountered during our last visit! In Haleiwa, we strolled for about an hour, including lunch, and we filled up on giant hamburgers at Kua Aina!

In the horseback riding group, there was a foreign family along with us, making a total of six people. My husband was trying horseback riding for the first time, and I hadn't ridden in a few years, so I felt a bit nervous seeing the size of the horses. However, they carefully explained the instructions, and they matched the horses to the participants' sizes—smaller horses for children and women, and larger ones for men.

We rode in a line through the mountains, with the lead instructor checking on everyone as we progressed slowly. The horses were well-trained and followed the horse in front without needing much direction, so I had no worries at all. The course had some ups and downs, which made it even more enjoyable. 6人で列を成して山の中を歩く、といった感じで先頭のインストラクターの方が参加者の様子を確認しつつゆっくり進んでいくのですが、馬はしっかり調教されていて特に指示をしなくてもちゃんと前の馬についていってくれるので、何の心配もありませんでした。
コースは起伏があってそれがまた楽しかったです。
山の上からはノースショアの海が一望できて、景色は最高！
撮影ポイントではインストラクターの方が写真を撮ってくれました。
乗馬時間は長く感じるくらい十分楽しめました。
大人から子供まで楽しめると思います！

I participated at the beginning of October. It was a relaxing trip in Waikiki, but I wanted to do some sightseeing in other places and also had a desire to go horseback riding, so I decided on this tour. I was torn between this and Kualoa Ranch, but I chose this one because the horseback riding time was longer and it included sightseeing in the North Shore.

The tour started with a meeting at the hotel at 9 AM. There were 10 people in total, including us, participating in the tour (all Japanese).

First, we made a brief stop at Moanalua Gardens for some photos. Next, at the Dole Plantation, we had about 30 minutes of free time to enjoy pineapple soft serve ice cream and stroll through the gardens. After that, we headed to Haleiwa. The drive was pleasant, with coffee fields stretching out along the way. It took about an hour and a half, but it didn’t feel long at all.

We arrived in Haleiwa around 10:30 AM. After that, we had about an hour of free time, including lunch. まずはモアナルアガーデンに少し立寄り写真撮影。続くドール・プランテーションでは３０分程の自由行動があり、パイナップルソフトクリームを食べたり、お庭を散策したり。その後、ハレイワへ向かいます。道中はコーヒー畑が広がっていたりして気持ちの良いドライブでした。時間にして１時間半くらいですが移動が長いという感じはしませんでした。
10時半くらいにハレイワに到着。その後昼食を含め１時間程の自由時間となります。ハレイワには有名なガーリックシュリンプのお店があるらしく他のツアー参加者の皆さんはそちらで昼食を取ったようです。昼食時間が相当早いので“ここで食べる！”と決めている方は当日の朝食は軽めが良いと思います。私たちはハレイワショッピングセンターで下ろしてもらいブラブラと散策。近くにあった屋台で“フリフリチキン”なるものを食べました。毎週土曜日だけ出店されるこの屋台は結構有名らしく日本人の観光客も多くいました。丸ごと焼いたチキンは熱々でしっかり味がついていて、見た目はさほどでもありません（笑）がおすすめです。
渓谷の乗馬は、起伏があり楽しいコースでしたが、景色はほとんど森林の中と言った感じでした。乗馬経験者には、少し物足りないコースかもしれません。ただ、馬の乗り方や注意点は丁寧に教えてもらえるので初心者でも全く問題ありません。乗馬の後は、ウミガメビーチに寄りましたが、道路からビーチが見下ろせるためウミガメがいないと分かるとビーチに降りることもなくそのまま帰路につきました。
半日でノースショア観光+乗馬だったのですこし駆け足でしたが、期待通り楽しむことができました。

We booked this tour on line before arriving in Waikiki. Wondered if we had made a mistake, but the tour was great. We were picked up on schedule exactly as promised. Our tour guide, Sam, was informative and knowledgeable about the island and the culture.

The best part of this tour is the choices! The next best thing is how much time you have on your own to enjoy the activity choices. Couldn't have been better. Absolutely loved it! Would go again.
