My first skydiving experience was amazing, as I got to enjoy the breathtaking views of Hawaii from the sky!

I felt no fear at all and was able to fly while being healed by the beautiful sea, sky, and islands of Hawaii, along with the pleasant breeze. There were many Japanese participants, and since we supported each other with any uncertainties, I didn't have to worry about the language barrier.

On the day of the jump, I had the option to choose a higher altitude for the dive when making the payment. After jumping, we descended slowly with the parachute, giving us more floating time than I had imagined, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the scenery. However, jumping from a higher altitude seems like it would provide an even more exhilarating experience!

I definitely want to try skydiving again!

I have a fear of heights, so I was really nervous when I got on the Cessna and went up into the sky. When it was time to jump, the instructor encouraged me, and before I knew it, I was flying! The view was amazing, absolutely the best!

It's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand, as some people did get sick. As for the instructors, it seems like there can be a mix. We participated as a pair, and one instructor took a lot of photos and was very encouraging, while the other one was a bit cold, haha.

I feel like our time staying in the North Shore would've felt incomplete if not for getting to explore it with Aina, our personal local! We saw gorgeous places we likely never would've seen on our own, learned a surprising amount about O'ahu's history and culture in a casual way, got more familiar with the town and even returned to places on our own, enjoyed greeting Aina's friends and family along the way, got some great recommendations on where to eat, and that's just off the top of my head! I realized just how cute horses can be. My horse was smart and responded well to my handling of the reins. There were some horses that seemed a bit more free-spirited, and I noticed some people had a bit of trouble with them.

Riding while looking at the refreshing blue sea and sky became an unforgettable memory. Since we were just walking slowly in a line, it might be a bit lacking for intermediate riders.

It was fun on the comfortable bus. Our guide, Tony, was amazing; he was knowledgeable about everything, including history, even though he spoke only in English. It was also educational to feel how Americans convey their thoughts about Pearl Harbor and Japan. I'm really glad I participated.

Since Haleiwa is only about two hours, please decide on what you want to do and which shops you want to visit, and make sure to move quickly.

On weekends, Haleiwa has the whole chicken at Ray's open, so I recommend it for chicken lovers.

The roads were clear, so we returned to Waikiki before 3 PM. It was an early morning, but it was a meaningful use of time.

I had hoped to eat garlic shrimp during that time, but the actual departure from Waimea was at 11:30 AM, leaving us with only 30 minutes in Haleiwa. I was looking for a place I had never been to and a tour I had never experienced before, and I found this tour. I have been to the Dole Plantation many times, but this was the first time I learned that you can take a factory tour right across the street.

On the day of the tour, it had rained the night before, so the ground was nicely damp, which was great. Our guide, Nori, took photos at various locations and also took us to sightseeing spots other than Haleiwa Town. I think it was because there were only a few participants that he was able to accommodate our requests.

I have always wanted to enjoy Hawaii from the sky, either by Cessna or helicopter, and I chose a Cessna guided by a Japanese pilot! As a result, I was able to fully enjoy Oahu, and I was overwhelmed with emotion.

This is my second time using this service. I will arrive in Haleiwa before 9 AM. It took a little time to get through the busy downtown area on the way there due to heavy traffic. The route may change depending on the driver and traffic conditions. We have five hours on-site, but if you enjoy shopping, that might not be enough time. The main area from around Giovanni's Shrimp Truck to Surf N Sea is walkable. I gave the driver a tip for both the outbound and return trips, but I didn't see many other people doing the same.

行きの中心部を抜けるのは交通量の多さから少し時間掛かりました。
運転手や交通量により、ルートは変わるかも知れません。

It was quite difficult to go on our own, so we decided to join a tour. There was a good amount of free time, and we strolled around the city while asking our driver for recommendations on places to visit. We were very lucky to see sea turtles swimming at Haleiwa Beach. The garlic shrimp was plump and very delicious. It was a great town with a different atmosphere from the city center, and you could really feel the local vibe. I definitely want to visit again if I have the chance.

One by one, we took off, and before I knew it, it was my turn! I felt no sense of reality about diving because we were so high up, and then suddenly, we jumped. We dove straight down, spreading our arms and legs into the diving position. Even while descending rapidly, I had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. After a while, the parachute opened, and we descended gently. I savored the views over the mountains and the ocean. It's something I wouldn't do in Japan, but I found the courage to dive because it was Hawaii. I was filled with anxiety right up until the moment, but I'm glad I did it.

I was worried after reading the low reviews, but I had a great time. The bus had bad reviews, but the driver was a cheerful guy. We took the bus and checked in upon arrival. The check-in was done on an iPad, but everything was in English, so I used a translation app to input my information. As long as you do the final check and sign properly, it seems like the rest can be done casually. If you accidentally press the home button, you have to start over, so I just kept pressing next.

After that, I received a paper to give to the instructor and waited. During this time, they mentioned a fuel fee of $15 per person and asked if I wanted to take photos or videos. I declined. When my instructor arrived, I received an explanation, but I didn't understand much. Luckily, there was a Japanese staff member who helped translate. The instructions included lifting my chin a bit, holding the harness, raising my legs and arching my back when we jumped, and spreading my arms wide when they tapped my shoulders as a signal to indicate I was ready. For landing, they explained not to extend my legs but to keep them lifted.

Then we waited for the helicopter, and they tried to sell us photos and videos again during that time. They approached me three times, but I declined each time.

Finally, it was time to jump! It was high, and I felt a bit scared, but as long as I screamed while jumping, I was fine. After the parachute opened, I felt really nauseous (I have a weak vestibular system and can't ride attractions like the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios Japan).

それからインストラクターに渡す紙もらって待機になります、その際に燃料費？？が1人15$かかるのと標高高くしませんか？写真動画とりませんか？の営業かけてきます。わたしは断りました。自分のインストラクターがきたら説明を受けます，，何言ってるかさっぱりでしたが日本人のスタッフさんいたので通訳してもらいました。少し顎をあげる、ハーネスを握る、飛んだら足をあげてエビゾリになる、肩をぽんぽん叩かれたら両手広げてOKの合図、着地の時は足を伸ばすんじゃなくて浮かしてって感じの説明です。
あとはヘリくるまで待機、その際にも写真動画の営業かけてきます、計３回かけてきましたが全部断りました。
あとは飛ぶだけです！高くて少しチビりそうでしたが奇声上げながら飛べば大丈夫です。パラシュート開いてからはもう気持ち悪くて無理でした(自分は三半規管弱くてUSJのハリーポッターとか乗れません)
終わったら飛んだ証明書と封筒を渡されます、封筒にチップ(10〜30$わたしは20$にしといた)を入れて透明のBOXにいれて終わりです。
帰りのバス降りるさいのチップですが渡してない人もいましたが口コミにある通り10$渡したらめっちゃ感謝してたのであげてください。
自分は三半規管弱すぎるので2度とすることはないですがここを選んでよかったと思います。
営業と、支払い以外のお金かかるのでそこ以外はよかったので⭐︎4って感じです。

This was my first trip abroad and my first time in Hawaii, and I participated alone!

The shuttle from the Honolulu area was easy to identify, as you can see in the photo! The driver was full of humor, and even though I couldn't speak English, I was able to communicate with him.

We took a propeller plane up to an altitude of 4000-5000 meters, so I wouldn't recommend wearing short sleeves and shorts if you're sensitive to the cold or not feeling 100%.

We started the dive with a countdown of 3.2.1.Go. We swung our bodies to the left and right during the countdown, and I really liked the speedy countdown, which felt like piston transport! Even if they were asked if they were ready and still said "No," some people were half-forced to say "Yes" and dive anyway.

During the dive, we descended from above the clouds towards the ground, so the unique gravity, wind, and visibility might be challenging for some. I love activities like this, so I wasn't scared or nervous at all, but I recommend trying it at least once for the experience.

It was an incredibly exciting skydiving experience, and I would do it again!

準備できたか？と聞かれてまだNoだとしても半強制Yesでダイブしていた方もいました

ダイブ中は雲の上から地表に向かっていくので、
独特の重力、風力、視界のため苦手な方もいそうです。
私はこういうアクティビティが大好きなので怖くもなく緊張もしませんでしたが、
経験のために一度は飛んでみることをおすすめします。

非常にエキサイティングなスカイダイビング、また飛びます！笑
