Really amazing experience. We didn't waste any second. The guide picked me up at my hotel on time, he already had all tickets for the Hanauma bay and the tram so we could go snorkeling as soon as we arrived to the bay. Water was very clear and we saw tons of fish! Well worth the time and money!

As expected from a master! We were able to find and meet the turtles. I participated with my spouse and our 10-year-old daughter. The tour was excellent, but the weather was not great, and it was cold, which was a bit of a problem. We couldn't rent wetsuits in advance, and the weather can only be known on the day itself... I hope some measures can be considered for this (at least for the children).

It was me and my friend’s first time snorkeling and Dan was extremely patient. At first, I was uncomfortable with breathing under water, but Dan made sure that I relaxed myself and held on to me during the practices to ensure that I was comfortable. He took great photos for us and took us further down to see a lot of fishes and we even saw a turtle towards the end of the tour! I would highly recommend Blue Hawaii Divers to anyone who wishes to book a tour for snorkeling. It is not necessarily just for beginners, we swam in groups and there were people who have snorkeled before. On the way back to the hotel, Dan gives great suggestions on where to go, and he also gives great recommendations for food spots.

I stayed at a small hotel, and they came to pick us up properly. The guide was surprised, saying, "It's rare to see Japanese people staying here!" as it seems that Japanese often stay at famous hotels.

We headed to Hanauma Bay in a larger vehicle that could accommodate about eight people. We participated in the afternoon session, and although the parking lot seemed full, thanks to the guide's connections, we were able to enter.

At Hanauma Bay, watching a video before snorkeling is mandatory, and we were guided by our guide to watch the video. After that, we took a shuttle down to the beach.

At the beach, they managed our belongings and valuables by providing security boxes. They also lent us mats and allowed time for changing.

We put on life jackets and got ready for snorkeling.

It seemed to be high tide, and there were waves that made it difficult to move at times, but the guide was always with us, so we could snorkel without getting lost in the sea. We were able to see fish. The guide took us to a spot where we might see turtles, but we ended up feeling seasick from the waves and had to return early. The guide was considerate of our condition, and those who felt okay were taken to other spots with another guide, so I would like to try again!

They also took photos, which made me very satisfied, but it was unfortunate that I got seasick.

However, since they were attentive to our well-being and adjusted to the participants' pace, I highly recommend this tour! I strongly suggest that those who are not confident in their physical condition bring motion sickness medication.

そのあとはシャトルで浜のほうに降ります。

浜では荷物や貴重品をセキュリティーボックスに入れてくださるなど、きちんと管理してくれます。
ゴザもかしてくれたり、着替えの時間も設けてくださいました。

救命用具もつけていざシュノーケリング。

満潮時のようで、波がありうまく進むことができないときもありましたが、常にガイドさんがついてくださり、海のなかで迷うことなくシュノーケルすることができました。
魚もみることができました。
亀がいそうなスポットのほうまで案内してくれましたが、私たちは波で酔ってしまい、途中で帰ることになりました。
体調を気遣ってくださり、大丈夫な方たちはもう一人のガイドさんとほかのスポットまで連れていってもらっていたので、またリベンジしたいと思います！

写真も撮ってくれて大満足でしたが、酔ってしまったので残念でした。

ただ、体調を気遣ってくれたり、参加者のペースに合わせてくれるので、とてもおすすめのツアーです！
体調に自信のない方は酔い止めなどを持参することを強くおすすめします。

We participated in snorkeling for the first time with a child who is not a strong swimmer. Thanks to Fumio's thorough explanations at the beginning, we were able to enjoy swimming. Even in shallow areas, we saw tropical fish! The water clarity was impressive, and even though we didn't see any sea turtles, it was more than enough. Fumio diligently searched for sea turtles until the very last moment... There were so many tropical fish, it felt like an aquarium. Fumio knows the best spots for sea turtles through interactions with locals, so it's definitely better than going on your own. I absolutely want to participate in this optional tour again next time. Lastly, I am very satisfied with the many photos you sent! I appreciate the pleasant cleanup as well.

初めてのシュノーケリングで泳ぎが苦手な子どもを連れての参加でした。
最初丁寧にフミオさんが説明してくださったおかげで楽しく泳ぐことができました。

The water temperature was lower than I imagined, and the waves were quite strong, which took a toll on my stamina. I think it would be tough without a veteran guide leading the way. My child (elementary school student) started shivering from the cold, so we both decided to retire early, but my husband was able to see the turtles. Our child loves the ocean and pools and usually doesn't want to get out, so it must have been really tough for them. It was indeed cold and challenging even for adults. The swimming speed was fast, making it hard to keep up. Other children participated as well, but all of them ended up retiring. I think it's better to schedule activities for children or elderly participants during warmer water temperature periods. However, we were able to see many large fish in the ocean, and the transportation and entry process was smooth with no waiting. Those not on the tour had to stand in a long line to buy tickets. I would like to try again during a time when the water temperature is higher.

Waikiki was in the rainy season, and on that day, it was pouring rain on and off. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but my parents (in their 60s) and my 10-year-old child really enjoyed snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. The water temperature was low and a bit chilly, so we rented suits for $10 on the day. The guide, who also provided transportation, was very kind, and the three of us, being first-time snorkelers, were very pleased with the attentive service. I definitely recommend going with a guide!

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village and mistakenly misunderstood the meeting place until the day of the event, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I was unsure of what to do, so I was grateful to receive a call on the day. I would like to try again when I travel next time, hopefully in clear weather!

I participated in the morning of April 6th. The weather in Honolulu was a bit iffy, but it was nice to see clear skies once we arrived. There were only four of us, including my husband and me, so we could swim at a leisurely pace.

The visibility was a bit questionable when the weather turned cloudy, but the colorful fish swimming around made the underwater scenery beautiful! Our guide helped us find a honu, and I was able to swim with one!

It was my first time snorkeling, but our guide, Fumio, was always attentive, which made me feel safe while swimming. I had so much fun that I wished I could swim longer!

There was also a large sea lion napping on the beach! The guide mentioned that you can only see them a few times a year, so we were very lucky. I'm really glad we chose this tour with an expert guide instead of just going on our own or a transfer-only tour!

Our guide was cheerful, efficient (this is important when getting novices into a wetsuit!), and informative. She asked us what we wanted to see, and when my daughter said turtles, she took us straight to two turtles after an introductory snorkel lesson. This was my second trip to Hawaii, and I was so glad I finally took a lesson. For the next week, I was able to finally relax, enjoy, and see a lot of interesting sea life. The snorkel at Haunama was spectacular also.

The weather was cloudy with some waves, and the visibility wasn't great, but thanks to Dan and Chieko's excellent guidance, we encountered a honu (sea turtle) twice. We also came across large schools of fish and saw many colorful and rare fish.

Since my older child is 12 and my younger one is 6, they took breaks along the way. When my younger child's glasses slipped and caused a panic, they quickly helped out. My wife, who can't swim because she's afraid of water, was kindly taught how to manage. We encountered the honu again.

We ended up retiring partway through because my younger child got tired, but he seemed satisfied. I would love to do this again if the opportunity arises.

For those considering snorkeling, I highly recommend it. However, it seems there are days when the weather and waves can be challenging, so users need to understand that aspect.

Dan was super friendly and informative. We had no trouble getting picked up and into the reserve. He ensured our comfort, safety and overall quelmed the anxieties of a first time snorkeler. I was able to snorkel without any anxiety because they explained the methods and sea conditions in detail in Japanese. I hadn't reserved a diving suit in advance, but they suggested that it could help prevent cold and injuries, so I borrowed one on the day. Even with the suit on, I got quite cold after about an hour of swimming, so I was really glad I could borrow it. I was moved to see not only a variety of fish but also a sea turtle up close. They picked me up from the hotel and dropped me back off, which made for a comfortable experience. They also shared various information about Hawaii during the car ride, which was helpful. The weather wasn't very good on the day we experienced it, and the water temperature was low. We hadn't applied for a wetsuit in advance, but the guide recommended that we rent one on the spot for an additional $10. I'm really glad we borrowed the wetsuits! It was cold, and since we swam in shallow water, if we hadn't had them, I think I would have been shivering from the cold and scraping my knees.

Although the weather was bad and the water clarity was low, we were lucky enough to encounter turtles twice.

The guide spoke fluent Japanese, and I was able to casually ask various questions.

I participated in snorkeling on March 2nd. I thought the time might be short during the reservation stage, but I was able to enjoy it fully. I rented a wetsuit just in case, and I'm glad I did because the water was cold. I was also able to see a sea turtle. Thank you, fmio!

My driver was so nice and friendly ! I ended up being the only one on the shuttle ! He was so nice and friendly and told me about the island and answers all my questions ! It made my experience very good ! I also changed the time and I again was the only one to get picked up and no problem! They were very nice on the phone as well and it was a great price !

I've done snorkeling a few times domestically, but Hawaii is on a whole different scale (laughs). The fish are larger, and I even got to meet a sea turtle! It was truly moving!! It's definitely better to have a wetsuit! The rocks and coral can hit your feet. The snorkel was also the type that doesn't let water in, so I didn't end up drinking seawater even after swimming for a long time♪ The guide was very kind, and I definitely want to go again.
