I was really glad to meet our guide, Yama P. We had a wonderful time discussing not only Maui and Haleakalā but also various memorable topics that touched the heart. I was drawn in by Yama P's background and the inner conflicts he shared, which made me feel a strong sense of connection. Of course, the beautiful sunset and the breathtaking starry sky were also amazing. Weather can be a matter of luck, but I was fortunate to have clear skies and stunning views during my visit.

ガイドの山Pさんに会えて本当に良かったです。マウイのこと、ハレアカラのこと、天体のことだけでなく、心に残るいろいろなことを話していただき、すばらしい時間を過ごせました。
山Pさんの経歴やご自身の中にある心の葛藤などにも引き込まれ、非常に親近感がわきます。
もちろん美しいサンセットと感動の星空も最高でした。
天候ばかりは運になってしまいますが、私のときは快晴でとても綺麗に景色が見えて非常にラッキーでした。

Our group consisted of four people: my spouse and I, along with another young couple, and the guide's wife participated as an assistant. The guide, likely with a wealth of experience, had everything meticulously planned and prepared, allowing us to enjoy a safe and pleasant time. We climbed to the summit at around 3,000 meters in about an hour and a half, making stops at souvenir shops and a supermarket to choose sushi bento for dinner (included in the price) to gradually acclimatize to the altitude.

On the day of the tour, we encountered light rain on the mountainside, but with the guide's skillful driving and cheerful explanations, we reached the summit, where we found a blue sky above the clouds. We avoided crowded tourist spots and enjoyed the sunset from a quieter location, savoring sushi bento along with warm Japanese tea. Afterward, we took turns looking through telescopes while the guide explained various stars and constellations.

Two years ago, we participated in a sunset tour at Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, where the summit is at 4,000 meters and the air was quite thin, making it difficult to breathe. In comparison, Haleakalā was much more comfortable. Additionally, there is a discount for seniors, making this tour highly recommended for older travelers.

うちの夫婦と、もう1組の若いご夫婦の計４人の客に、ガイドの奥様がアシスタントで参加されました。ガイドさんはおそらく多くの経験を積まれているのでしょう、非常に周到に計画され準備されていて、安心して楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました。3000メートル級の山頂まで１時間半ほどで登っていきますが、高度に徐々に慣れるように、土産物店に寄ったりスーパーで夕食の寿司弁当（料金に含まれています）選びに立ち寄ったりします。
当日は途中の山腹で弱雨にあいましたが、霧の中を巧みな運転で不安なく、軽快な口調の説明を聞きつつ登った山頂は、雲の上の青空でした。多くの観光客がいる場所を避けて、人が少ない場所からゆっくりとサンセットを楽しみ、暖かい日本茶のサービスとともに寿司弁当をいただいたのち、交替で望遠鏡をのぞきながら多くの星や星座を解説してもらいました。
私たちは2年前にハワイ島のマウナケアのサンセットにも参加し、マウナケアは4000メートル級で山頂の空気が薄くでかなり息苦しかったのですが、それに比べればハレアカラははるかに快適でした。また熟年者には割引料金のサービスもあり、高齢者に優しいツアーとしておすすめします。

Others have praised it in their reviews, and I think that's true. It's a shame that my child was too small and fell asleep. We'll participate again when they are older.

For our honeymoon, we wanted to try the Haleakalā summit tour on Maui. We debated between the sunset + stargazing or sunrise, but since we wanted to get a good night's sleep and had a feeling that the sunset would be more beautiful, we chose that option.

The group size was just right, allowing us to see everyone's faces, and our guide was great at sharing stories, making the time pass without diminishing the excitement of the participants. It was also nice to receive recommendations on what to buy at the supermarkets and souvenir shops along the way.

The sunset was stunning, although I felt like the sun set a bit earlier than expected. Still, it was thoroughly enjoyable. However, the true highlight of the tour came afterward. In complete silence, when I looked up at the pitch-black sky for the first time, the awe I felt was indescribable. Surrounded by stars, we observed them through a telescope while receiving explanations about various constellations. It was quite cold at the summit, but they provided warm clothing, and I was so moved that I forgot about the chill, and time flew by.

I am grateful to our guide for their excellent storytelling and to have been blessed with good weather (it seems the participants from the previous day had a tough time due to poor weather).

On the way down from the summit, I fell asleep feeling a sense of satisfaction and emotion, wrapped in a relaxed mindset that life is too short to rush.

I think it would be wonderful to bring our parents next time. This was one of the few optional tours that left us very satisfied, and I highly recommend it for honeymoons (though it might be a bit tough with small children).

今回新婚旅行でマウイ島に行くにあたり、やってみたかったのがハレアカラ山頂ツアーでした。
サンセット+星空かサンライズで迷いましたが、夜はちゃんと寝たいし、なんとなくですがサンセットの方がきれいそうだなというくらいの気持ちで選びました。

参加人数も多すぎず、全体の顔も見渡せますしガイドさんのお話も上手で、車内でも参加者の楽しみな気持ちを減衰させることなく時間が過ぎていきました。
ところどころでよるスーパーやお土産屋さんでもどういったものがオススメかなど説明してもらえたのも良かったです。

サンセットもとてもきれいでしたが、少し日が落ちるのが早かったのかな？という印象ではありましたが十分堪能できました。
これだけでも比較的満足度は高かったのですが、このツアーの本領はこの後でした。
あたりは一切物音もしなくなり、完全に静まり返った中で初めて真っ暗闇の中空を見上げた時の感動は言葉では言い表すのが難しいほどのものでした。
あたり一面に広がる星に包まれ、いろんな星の説明を受けながら天体望遠鏡でその星を観察する。山頂はだいぶ寒かったですが、防寒具なども準備していただき、感動でそもそも寒さを忘れるほどであっという間に時間が過ぎていました。

終始上手にお話ししていだけたガイドさんへの感謝と、本当に天候にも恵まれ(前日参加の方々は天候に恵まれずつらいツアーとなったようです)た偶然に感謝感謝です。

山頂から降りる車の中は満足感と感動と、生き急いでも仕方ないよなというおおらかな気持ちに包まれながら寝てしまいました。

次は両家の両親を連れて行ってあげられたらすてきだなと思える、数少ないオプショナルツアーで非常に満足のいくものとなりました、新婚旅行などにオススメだと思います(小さい子連れだと少ししんどいかもしれません)。

It was truly a wonderful starry sky. I thought it would be cloudy on the day I participated, but above the clouds, it was clear, and I could see the Milky Way and shooting stars clearly. The Earth shadow appeared after sunset, and seeing the shadow of the Earth felt like a cleansing experience for my heart. While watching the stars and listening to the guide's stories, I was moved to tears. I heard it would be cold, so I layered up with sweatshirts and down jackets, which kept me warm enough to enjoy the night sky. Before heading to the mountains, we stopped by a supermarket and a souvenir shop, and the supermarket had good prices!

本当に本当に素敵な星空でした。参加した日はあいにくの曇りと思っていましたが、雲の上は晴れていて天の川も流れ星もくっきり見えました。
日が沈んだ後に現れるアースシャードー、地球の影も見え心が洗わられるような気持ちでした。ガイドの方のお話を聞きながら星を見ていると、涙が出ました。寒いと聞き、スエットやダウンを重ね着したので寒さも感じず、夜空を楽しむことが出来ました。山に行く前にはスーパーやお土産屋さんにもよるので、スーパーは値段も安くて良かったです！

Haleakalā had bad weather, so we couldn't see the sunset. However, I thought it was impressive how the guide skillfully found a spot for stargazing by slightly changing locations. The tour progressed smoothly, and I felt the guide was very capable. I'll try again next time for a revenge trip.

ハレアカラは天気が悪くサンセットは見れませんでした。
しかし、微妙に場所を変えて星空観測する場所を臨機応変に見つけるあたりプロだなと思いました。ツアーの進行もストレスなく力量のあるガイドさんだなと感じました。
また今度リベンジします。

The guide was Mr. Yamapi, and it was a wonderful experience. It was cold, but we were able to drive up to 3055 meters, and the starry sky we saw there was amazing.

ガイドが山Pさんで、とても素敵な体験ができました。寒かったけど、車で3055mまで行け、そこで見た星空は最高でした。

It might not have been Yamapi, but the person who came to pick me up was indeed Yamapi, known from Hawaii Love! The conversation in the car was interesting, and even though it was a long tour, I was entertained the whole time! I want to participate again with my family!

My husband and I participated together. The stars were beautiful. Yamapi's guidance was also excellent.

We arrived in Maui at 12:00. After picking up our luggage, it took 40 minutes by taxi to the hotel. Although our pickup was at 3:00 after check-in, we climbed Haleakalā on the first day, so I felt like we quickly got accustomed to Maui. It was wonderful from the very first day.

主人と二人で参加しました。星が綺麗でした。ヤマピーさんのガイドも最高でした。

マウイ島着12:00。荷物をピックアップしタクシーでホテルまで40分。チェックイン後3:00のお迎えでしたが、初日にハレアカラに登ったので、すぐにマウイ島に慣れることができたような気がしました。初日から最高でした。

I previously participated in the stargazing and sunrise tour, and it was amazing, so I wanted to relive that experience by joining the sunset and stargazing tour. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the sunset was a bit disappointing because of the clouds, and I thought the stargazing would be beautiful since it was close to a new moon, but we ended up seeing it at a lower elevation where the clouds were present, which was half of what we could have seen in the national park. After experiencing a sky full of stars once, I felt a bit let down. However, the guide's stories and explanations about the stars were very detailed and enjoyable, and their attentiveness was remarkable, so I plan to participate again. The stop at the donut shop and shopping at the club were also very nice. Additionally, even though I met the other participants for the first time, it was a fun tour with a friendly atmosphere. If only the stars had been visible, it would have been a five-star tour! ⭐︎

以前星空とサンライズに参加してスゴくよかったので、あの感動をと思いサンセットと星空に参加しました。残念ながらお天気の関係でサンセットは雲で微妙で星空は新月近いので綺麗に見えると思っていたのですが、雲で国立公園も出た標高が半分のところで観ました。一度満天の星空を経験した後だったので、残念だなと思いました。ガイドさんのお話しや星の説明はとても詳しくたのしかったし、気遣いもすごく行き届いたものだったのでまた参加するつもりです。途中寄ったドーナツ屋さんやクラでのお買い物もとてもよかったです。また、一緒に乗り合わせた方々とも初対面なのに和気あいあいとして楽しいツアーでした。星空さえ見えたら５星のツアーです⭐︎

This was a tour I had been interested in for a long time, recommended by a senior colleague. It was my second time at Haleakalā.

The first time, I visited Maui for a day trip and drove there. I saw a sky full of stars, but since I didn't have any knowledge about stars and had to catch a flight back, I only looked at the stars for about two minutes while descending, thinking, "Wow, it's beautiful!" before quickly returning to the car.

This time, for my second visit to Haleakalā, I knew from the beginning that it would be a full moon, and I participated in the tour for the first time. I could only see bright stars with the naked eye, but through the telescope, we were shown various stars, searched for Mickey in the full moon, and since we lacked knowledge about stars, we learned a lot from the explanations. Listening to the guide's stories helped reset my mind. Hearing from someone with so many experiences is truly valuable!

Due to my husband's work schedule, I can't plan trips around the new moon in advance, but I hope to go again when the new moon comes around.

先輩におすすめされて参加したずっと気になっていたツアーです。ハレアカラは2回目。

1回目は日帰りマウイ島でレンタカーで行きました。この時満天の星空を見ましたが、星の知識がなく、また帰りの飛行機の時間があった為、2分くらい下山途中に見て、あぁ綺麗！と感動して即車内に戻りました。

今回の2回目のハレアカラは、初めから満月だと分かっていてツアーに初参加。明るい星しか肉眼では見えませんが、望遠鏡で色々な星を見せてくれ、満月の月にミッキーをさがしたり、やはり星の知識がない私達は星の解説を聞けて勉強になりました。またガイドさんの話を聞いて心がリセットされました。色んなことを経験されてきた方からのお話は為になります！

旦那の仕事の休みの関係で、新月に狙って旅行の計画を立てることが予め出来ませんが、新月狙ってま
た行けたらいいなと思います。

I participated with three friends.
The process: Since there were participants coming from various resorts on the island, we took a welcoming car and met up with other participants at the meeting point.
After that, we stopped by a supermarket for dinner, where we bought souvenirs like coffee and almond chocolate at a cheaper price than ABC Mart, and then headed to Haleakalā!
During the journey, we climbed the mountain while listening to the guide's explanations and interesting stories.
We took a bathroom break along the way, and since we ascended gradually, I didn't really notice the changes in air pressure and oxygen levels!
Also, the scenery we saw while climbing was very beautiful, and I was taking pictures the whole time!

The summit was very cold, and without the provided warm clothing, it would have been impossible to go outside and enjoy the view.
At night, there were no streetlights at all, and since there were no guardrails on the mountain roads, those who came individually returned before sunset.

I got the impression that going individually is almost impossible.

The sunset and starry sky were more beautiful than anything I had ever seen, and I kept looking up at them (*^_^*)
During the viewing, the guide also provided explanations.
My friends were very satisfied, and we were really glad we participated.
This tour made me want to go to Maui just for it.

流れ:島内の各リゾートから参加される方がいるため、お迎えの車に乗って、合流地点で、他の参加者さんと合流しました。
その後、夕飯のためにスーパーによりますが、その時にコーヒーや、アーモンドチョコなどのお土産をABCマートよりも安く購入し、いざハレアカラへ！
道中はガイドさんの説明と、面白い話を聞きながら、山道を登って行きます。
途中、トイレ休憩をしながら、少しずつ登ったため、気圧、酸素濃度の変化もあまり気にならずにすみました！
また、登ってる間に見える景色がとても綺麗で、ずっと写真を撮っていました！

山頂はとても寒く、用意されている防寒具がなければ外に出て景色を眺めるのは無理だな。という感じ。
また夜になると全く街灯がなく、さらに山道にガードレールなどもないため、個人でいらしてた方々はサンセット前に帰っていました。

個人で行くのはほぼ無理だなという印象です。

サンセット、星空は今まで見たことない程の綺麗さで、ずっと見上げてました(*^_^*)
また鑑賞中はガイドさんの説明もあります。
友達達も、大満足で、参加して本当に良かったです。
このツアーのために、わざわざマウイ島に行きたくなるようなツアーでした。

I was truly moved to see a number of stars I've never seen before. The owner, Mr. Yamauchi, was wonderful, and it was a very pleasant tour. I completely fell in love with the charm of Maui. I definitely want to participate again.

The sunset and stars are so beautiful that it's overwhelming.
The journey to the tour is relaxed, with stops at the supermarket, Krispy Kreme, and picking up dinner♪
We also bought souvenirs at the supermarket we visited at that time.
It's cold at the summit, so I recommend dressing warmly, but they provide extra clothing and blankets for you.
It was wonderful to come together as a group to watch the sunset and stars!
This tour allows you to reflect on yourself and your life in the great outdoors.

夕日も星も綺麗すぎて圧倒されます。
ツアーまでの道のりはスーパー行ったり、クリスピーに行ったり、夕食を買ったりと、ゆったり楽しめます♪
私たちもその時に行ったスーパーでお土産を購入したりしました。
山頂は寒いので暖かい格好をオススメしますが、上に着るものや毛布は用意してくださっています。
みんなで一体となり夕日や星を見るのも、とても素敵でした！

I participated alone. It was my first time on Maui (over 10 years ago...), and the starry sky I saw at night after stopping the car was so beautiful that I decided to splurge and definitely go for this tour! The pickup arrived on time, and we had donut time around Kahului. I didn't hold back and had two! Choosing sushi at Foodland supermarket was crucial; I had to make the right choice! I bought two of the recommended Mauna Loa Coffee macadamia nuts for $6, and they were a hit at work, so definitely buy them if you find them! We gradually climbed the mountain, and the guide kept us entertained the whole time, making it enjoyable even alone. I got to see breathtaking views, eat sushi, and the starry sky was truly magnificent. It was moving!!! The explanation about the stars was professional and a bit difficult, though... I feel like it would have been even more amazing to share this experience with someone. I wish I could have brought my mom! Thank you for the wonderful tour.

一人での参加です。初めてのマウイ島で(１０年以上の昔ですが。。。)夜車を止めて見た星空が、とてもキレイだったので、奮発して絶対このツアーだっと思いできめました！
お迎えも時間通り来ていただき、カフルイあたりでドーナツタイムです。遠慮しないで２個頂いちゃいました！　フードランドのスーパーでお寿司選び。ここは外すと大変だ！　おすすめしていただいたマウナロアコーヒーのマカダミアナッツ試しに２個＄６だったので２個だけ買ったのですが、職場でとても好評で絶対見つけたら買い！ですよー　　山も少しずつ登って行ってその間もずっとガイドしていただき１人でも楽しかったです。絶景も見れてお寿司も食べて本当に満天の星空でした。感動ですよー！！！　星の解説はプロっぽいお話しなので難しいですが。。
１人できたのももったいないぐらい誰かと共有出来れば更に感動だと思います。

This time, I arrived at the location and signed up for this tour. I suddenly decided to go to Haleakalā after arriving, so I didn't have any warm clothing, and I chose this tour for the simple reason that it included warm clothing.

As a result, I was very satisfied!

I was surprised to find that almost everyone participating in the tour was a fan of the guide, Yamapi. Ignorance can be terrifying; it turns out that Yamapi is quite a celebrity. I was really surprised to learn that everyone comes to Maui to join Yamapi's stargazing tour—he's incredibly popular. And I was lucky!

I've been on various tours before, but this one was truly great. I want to go back to Maui to participate in this tour again.

今回、現地に着いてこのツアーに申し込みました。現地に着いてから急にハレアカラへ行こうと決めたので、防寒着等を持っておらず、防寒着付きという安易な理由でこのツアーに決めました。

This was the best tour I have ever participated in. The sunset at Haleakalā and the stargazing were wonderful, but I was moved by the hospitality, including Mr. Yamauchi's stories. I hope to join again someday.

I went to the summit of a 3000-meter mountain for the first time in my life. I thought it was about the same height as Mount Fuji, but we smoothly ascended while enjoying the wonderful scenery by car. The summit is quite cold, but with jackets, gloves, and warm tea provided, we were able to spend our time comfortably. There were frequent stops for restrooms, so there was no need to worry about that.
The guide, Mr. Yamauchi, is a very experienced veteran, knowledgeable about the stars, and reliable, allowing us to create one of the wonderful memories of our lives.
I highly recommend this tour to everyone; I believe it’s a fantastic experience that should be done at least once in a lifetime if possible.

人生初めての3000メートルの山の山頂に行きました。富士山と同じ位の高さかと思いますが、車で素晴らしい景色を見ながらスイスイ登って行きました。山頂はかなり寒いですが、ジャケットと手袋、温かいお茶を用意してくださり、快適に過ごすことが出来ます。トイレも頻回に止まってくださるので、トイレの心配もいりません。
ガイドの山内さんは大変なベテランで、星空の知識も詳しく、頼もしく、素晴らしい人生の想い出の一つを作ることが出来ました。
これは皆さんにオススメする、可能であれば人生に一度は体験すべき素晴らしいツアーだと思います。

My first time on Maui! First, I want to shout out that our guide, Yamauchi-san, also known as Yamachan, was amazing! On the way to Haleakalā, we started with fun conversations in the car, filled our stomachs at Krispy Kreme, and had the chance to choose sushi for dinner at a supermarket, as well as enjoy a shop selling special coffee and honey. We took our time at each place, allowing us to enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

As we ascended to the summit, the temperature dropped, but they provided us with jackets, gloves, blankets, and warm tea. The sunset was absolutely beautiful!!! I could forget the cold and just keep watching. Yamachan's timing in preparing everything according to the sunset was impressive, showcasing years of experience. We had so much fun eating the sushi we bought in the car and chatting until it got completely dark!

The excitement of looking up at the starry sky was incredible! The moment we all looked up together was truly moving!!!! This was my first time seeing such a star-filled sky!!! It was really touching!! They even showed us various stars through a telescope, which was fantastic. We could sit back and enjoy the view! Yamachan's stories were also very touching.

I hope many people get to experience looking up at the starry sky with their loved ones and hear Yamachan's stories. It was truly the best time. I participated in this tour just one day before returning home, and it became a wonderful memory. I would love to join again when I visit Maui. Thank you so much!

初めてのマウイ島！まず声を大にしてお伝えしたいのいがガイドの山内さんこと山ちゃんのガイド最高です！ハレアカラに到着するまでの道中、車内で楽しいお話から始まり、クリスピードーナッツ屋でお腹を満たし、途中スーパーで夜に食べるお寿司を選んだり買い物ができたり、特別なコーヒーや蜂蜜が販売している売店も楽しむことができたり一つ一つの場所でゆっくりと時間をとってくださり時間に余裕をもって楽しむことができました。
頂上にいくにつれて気温は下がりますが上着や手袋、毛布、温かいお茶もご用意してくれています。
サンセットはもうこれはこれは美しい！！！寒さなんて忘れてずーと見ていられます。
陽の沈む時間に合わせて色々準備してくださる山ちゃんのタイミング、長年の経験は本当にすごいです。真っ暗になるまで車内で買ったお寿司を食べたりお話をしたりすごく楽しかったです！
いざ星空を見上げるまではわくわく！せーので見上げた瞬間は本当に感動しました！！！！こんな満天の星空は人生初です！！！本当に感動します！！望遠鏡で色々な星も見せてくださったりこれまた最高です。

The sunset and night view were amazing. The jackets and blankets were appreciated, but it's best to dress warmly. Compared to the time spent viewing the craters and Haleakalā, it felt like we spent a long time shopping for souvenirs. It would have been even better if we could have visited one more sightseeing spot instead of spending so much time at the supermarket.

夕焼けも夜景も最高でした。ジャケットや毛布はありがたかったですが、たくさん着込みましょう。
クレーターとかハレアカラを見る時間に比較すると、お土産を買う時間が長かったかな。スーパー訪問を減らしてもう一箇所くらい観光スポットに連れてってくれるともっと良いかも。

This is an absolute must-do on a tour of Maui!

I deeply realized that there are many moving experiences in the world that you can only understand by experiencing them. Thank you for a wonderful time. When I close my eyes, it feels like a sky full of stars appears.

Yam P was very good at talking and it was fun the whole time, but unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to bad weather. I want to try again, but I wonder when I can go... That was the only disappointing part. It was nice to stop by the Claw Lodge, visit Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and go to the supermarket as well. I'm not sure if the starry sky was affected by the weather, but it wasn't that impressive... just as I expected. I've participated in a similar sunset and starry sky tour at Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island, and that one was definitely more beautiful and moving. If I get the chance to go again, I might want to try for a redo. The guide, Yam P, was really great, so I would like to request him again!

山Ｐさんはとても話し上手でずっと楽しくて良かったのですが、肝心のサンセット、天候が悪く見れませんでした。またリベンジしたいのですが、いつ行けるのやらです。。。そこだけが残念でした。途中クラロッジに寄ったり、クリスピークリームドーナツに寄ったり、スーパーにも行けて良かったです。星空は天候のせいなのかは分かりませんが・・・感動はさほどで。。。思った通りでした。ハワイ島のキラウェア火山で同じようなサンセット＆星空ツアーに参加したことがありますが、そちらの方が断然綺麗で感動しましたよ。また行けるときがあればリベンジしようかな。ガイドの山Ｐさんはすごく良かったのでまたお願いしたいです！！

I had heard the rumors, but I was truly satisfied with the wonderful guide☆ They created a fun atmosphere and their attentiveness was top-notch. There were also some touching stories, which made it even better. Next time, if the opportunity arises, I would like to bring my family along. Thank you very much.

The Yamapi guide is fun! They also provide details about Haleakalā. The sunset isn't just about the sun setting; there are explanations about the color gradients in the sky and the Earth's formation, which were very educational. I can't go to Maui often, but this is a tour I want to join again next time. The sushi in the bento was delicious!

やまぴーガイドは楽しい！ハレアカラの細かい部分も教えていただけます。サンセットとは日が落ちるだけじゃなく、空の色のグラデーションや地球の作りなども説明があり勉強になりました。マウイ島はなかなか行けないけど次回も参加したいツアーです

We participated as a family of four, and we were extremely satisfied with our half-day tour, thanks to our guide, Yamauchi (Yama-chan). At the Krispy Kreme store where we gathered, Yama-chan's excellent talk created a sense of camaraderie among the participants. To acclimatize to the altitude, we aimed for 3055 meters while taking breaks. On the way, when we stopped at a supermarket to buy sushi for dinner, I cleverly got Kona coffee at a discount using Yama-chan's card. (When I got home and drank it, it turned out to be delicious coffee!)

Yama-chan's talk in the car was entertaining, and I kept saying "Wow!" at the stories I was hearing for the first time. After witnessing a magnificent sunset, we were treated to a sky full of stars! Everyone was captivated by the detailed explanations using a laser pointer. Did you know that the Big Dipper actually has eight stars? This tour was not only about the beauty of nature but also about the charm of Yama-chan, who is full of humanity. My whole family wants to visit Yama-chan again.

家族４人で参加、もう何といっても山内さん（山ちゃん）のガイドに大満足の半日でした。最初に集合したクリスピードーナッツの店でツアー参加者の紹介、山ちゃんの絶妙なトークで連帯感が生まれました。気圧に慣らす為、休憩を取りながら３０５５mを目指します。途中スーパーで夕食のお寿司を買う時、私はちゃっかりコナコーヒーを山ちゃんのカードでディスカウントして貰って調達しました。（帰って飲んだら、これが大当たり！の美味しいコーヒーでした。）
車内での山ちゃんのトークが面白く、初めて聞く話に「へぇ～」の連発。素晴らしい日没を見た後の満天の星！！レーザーポインターを使ったマニアックな解説にみんな釘付けでした。北斗七星はホントは八星ですって！自然の素晴らしさは勿論人間味溢れる山ちゃんの魅力にはまったツアーでした。家族全員また山ちゃんに会いに行きたいです。

We were blessed with great weather and were able to see the best views from Haleakalā. The sunset over the sea of clouds and the starry sky were both so wonderful that words can't express them. More than anything, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, was simply amazing! He talked to us during the drive, but his storytelling under the starry sky is something I will never forget. Of course, I want to see the views and the starry sky at Haleakalā again, but I also want to meet Mr. Yamauchi again. This tour makes you feel that way. There seem to be other tours of Haleakalā, but please consider joining this one with Maui All-Stars. It will cleanse your soul.

天気に恵まれ、ハレアカラからの最高の景色を見ることができました。
雲海の中の夕焼け、満点の星空、どちらも言葉で表現できないほど素晴らしかったです。
それよりも何よりも、ガイドの山内さんの対応がともかく素晴らしかった！。運転中も色々お話してくれるのですが、特に星空の下での山内さんの語りは一生忘れられません。
ハレアカラの景色、星空がもう一度見たいのはもちろんですが、また山内さんにお会いしたい。
そんな気にさせてくれるツアーです。
ハレアカラのツアーは他にもあるようですが、マウイ・オールスターズのこのツアーに是非参加してみて下さい。心が洗われます。

I was relieved to have made a reservation in advance from Japan since it was fully booked at the time. I was captivated by the eloquent guide and had a wonderful time. I learned that Haleakalā has no "sound," which was a very strange sensation. I also enjoyed a magnificent sunset and had a great time stargazing. Lastly, I was able to hear the guide's heartwarming stories, and I truly felt that participating in this tour was a great decision.

当時は満席との事で日本から事前予約をしておいて一安心。お話の上手なガイドさんに魅せられ、楽しい時間を過ごしました。ハレアカラは❝音❞がないと教えていただき、とても不思議な感覚でした。素晴らしいサンセットも鑑賞し、星空観測も満喫。最後にガイドさんの心温まるお話をう伺うことが出来て、本当にこのツアーに参加してヨカッタと思います。

I recommend participating if you can enjoy a relaxed stay in Maui!
It seems that a permit is required to reach the summit, making it a valuable experience that you can't do on your own.
As everyone has mentioned, the tour included a sunset, mountains, clouds, and stars, all allowing you to feel the beauty of nature.
