Was surprised that there are no tables to eat meal at. However, crew did a great job on the cruise and food was very good! Not much of a sunset because of clouds but we did see some whales so that was good! If it wasn’t for the quality of the food, I would have been disappointed. Everyone working on the shop was very accommodating and very friendly.

Our driver Scottie from Temptation Tours was the best I've ever seen. Kept us engaged the whole ride. Knew everything about the island, people, history. Knew all of the best places to stop, where all of the good and bad bathrooms were down to the minute. Told us when the drive by pic was coming up so that we knew to get our phones/camera ready. Stopped multiple times and took the best video and pics of not only us but something cool on the stop. The wraps at lunch were superb. The captain's chairs in the van were perfect. Flying back with Troy from Maui Air was just as incredible. He played cool music and the ride was smooth. Saw a bunch of the falls and even played a little "chase and ride along" a friend he spotted in an ultralight. Highly recommend this combo. We were back at the hotel by early afternoon! Veltra Tours made it so easy and kept us up to date via email during our trip.

I'm so happy we did this on our vacation. The experience was beautiful. The boat sailed right up to the sand to pick us up. The crew were all professional and friendly. They helped us on and off in the tricky surf conditions. Quite a few people got really wet so take that warning serious and dress appropriately.

The appetizers and drinks were delicious and top-notch. The sea was a little choppy so a few people in our party were sea sick, but I recommend half a dramamine.

We saw whales breaching in the distance as the sun set over the waves. Overall and amazing experience, would recommend 10/10.

The Japanese guide, who is 75 years old, spends half a year in Hawaii and half a year in Tokyo, and he certainly doesn't look like a senior citizen. It was wonderful to see him enjoying his life. Thanks to him, I was able to communicate in Japanese, and I think it was great that I got to see whales multiple times. I would love to go again.

It was a fantastic and impressive show that my husband, who visited Hawaii for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed! However, there were hardly any Japanese people on Maui, and my husband, who doesn't understand English, couldn't follow the explanations or guidance.

I also only understood a bit (just everyday conversation), so I was anxious about communication, but I was busy supporting my husband... haha.

Since it's an overseas trip, it's natural, but be aware that it won't be like Honolulu, where you see Japanese people everywhere.

On the other hand, everyone was really friendly, and the show was incredibly lively! I definitely want to go again!

ただ、マウイ島には日本人がほとんど居らず、英語の分からない旦那は説明や案内が分かりませんでした。

A Wonderful experience! The day was beautiful, the guide was knowledgeable, the bus was comfortable, and the food was very good. We are not the sort to get up in the middle of the night for a sunrise tour, so we signed up for the sunset version instead and will view the video in reverse:-) But seriously, we enjoyed the spectacular as-advertised views, along with the narrative. Our only discomfort came with the cold temperature at the summit. Despite the fact that we were prepared, it still got pretty chilly! If you're going, take the suggestions regarding warm clothing seriously!

The Haleakalā volcano had great weather, and I was able to see breathtaking views of the sea of clouds, sunset, and starry sky. I could see many stars that I can't see in Japan, filling the sky. While listening to explanations about various stars, we observed them through a telescope. The elementary school children were also moved by the starry sky and seemed to enjoy stargazing while listening to our guide (Yama-chan).

Additionally, on the way to Haleakalā volcano, our guide provided us with information about Maui and recommendations for delicious restaurants, which were very helpful for our subsequent sightseeing. We also stopped at a donut shop, a local supermarket, and a souvenir shop at a farm, so we enjoyed shopping as well. There were restrooms available at each stop, and there are also restrooms at Haleakalā volcano, so I felt comfortable participating since I often need to use the restroom.

Snorkeling in the beautiful, sunny sea was a lot of fun. I was able to see three turtles, and both breakfast and lunch were delicious. Our Japanese guide, KANA, was very kind and made it a wonderful memory.

When we said goodbye on the boat, I regretted not being able to give a tip afterward. If I have the chance to meet her again next time, I would definitely like to express my gratitude.

On the day of the trip, the wind was strong, so we couldn't go to Molokini Island. However, instead, we visited two other locations and were able to see turtles.

At the snorkeling spots, the waves were small despite the wind, so there were no issues. The staff members were very friendly, and there was no need to worry even for beginners. Meals were prepared for both breakfast and lunch, and for lunch, we made our own burgers by choosing our own toppings.

I would like to use their services again when I come to Maui.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience despite the early start and the freezing temperature! Collected from our hotel at 3am by Netty. Very informative time on the coach, which was very comfortable but also allowed some time to nap before arriving at the mountain top. It was very cold despite wearing lots of layers ( we had been warned!) and our hotel had lent us blankets. Had about an hours wait before the sun started to come up. The sunrise was beautiful. We stopped for a good breakfast on the way back and returned to our hotel around 11am.

I was able to talk with the other participants at the first donut shop we visited, which made me feel a sense of closeness, and that was great. We climbed slowly to the summit while taking breaks, so we were able to reach the top without any issues. I enjoyed listening to the guide's fun stories and personal anecdotes, and I had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, the sunset turned out to be a sun hidden behind the clouds, but the change in the colors of the sky was moving. Thank you very much.

THIS TRIP is worth waking up in the middle of the night to catch the sunrise ABOVE CLOUD Level. Beautiful! Thoughtful bus driver also brought hot water and coffee and packaged pastries for visitors to snack on before the actual breakfast. Thank you Nettie, bus driver, for an awesome experience!!!

Preston was our driver for the tour and he was hilarious. He managed to make our entire group laugh and stay engaged on our ride up to Haleakala. We felt safe with him as our tour leader and driver and would assure anyone going with Preston that you would have a great time. I HIGHLY recommend anyone considering the visit to view the sunrise to go with a tour group as the drive up is completely dark, on extremely narrow roads, and quite difficult to navigate. We had a care rental for our entire trip but were incredibly glad that we went with the route of having an operator take us up and down the mountain. The tour was informative and just so easy--from pick-up to drop-off.

My family was blown away with how close the whales were to our boat. Two whales came right up next to our boat and lifted their heads for pictures. My family was very happy with the experience. It gets very rocky so a bigger boat for smaller kids would be suggested.

The weather was cloudy, but since it wasn't raining, we set sail hoping for clearer skies. The waves were a bit high on the way to Molokini Island, and I thought there would be some swells when we arrived. My wife was a bit nervous since it was her first time snorkeling, and the swells seemed to heighten her fear.

As we returned to the boat to head to the next point, the ride was quite bumpy, and my wife got completely seasick. We were by the window inside the boat, but even with the window closed, seawater splashed in when the waves hit.

The next point had calmer waves, but we rested on the boat. I appreciate the Japanese tour guide for being attentive to even the smallest details. This will be one of our memories.

天気は曇りでしたが、雨は降っていなかったので、晴れることを期待して、出港、モロキニ島までの少し波が高いかなという程度、モロキニ島に着くとうねりが少しあると思っていましたが、妻は初めてのシュノーケリングだったので、少し緊張気味で、うねりが恐怖を高めたみたいです。
船に戻り次のポイントに向かいますが、かなりの揺れで妻は完全に酔ってしまいました。船内の窓際でしたが、窓が閉まっていても波がかぶると海水が入ってきてしまいます。
次のポイントは、波の穏やかなところでしたが、船で休んでいました。
日本の添乗員さんは、かなり細かいところまで気を使ってもらい感謝です。
これも思い出の一つとします。

I participated in the tour, but the weather was bad, and I couldn't see anything—not even the stars or the scenery. It was a tour where I didn't understand what I was there for. There was no explanation at the time of booking, and on the day of the tour, I was told that I might not be able to see anything. If that was the case, there could have been options to switch to another tour, which is very disappointing. I invested time and money into what could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I would have appreciated at least a prior confirmation or a disclaimer. It was truly ruined. I believe tours with such a strong element of chance should not be sold.

The helicopter ride is exciting and fun. We saw the shoreline and lots of waterfalls. The Road to Hana can be long so going half-way is better. Our guide was terrific. He showed us all the important things along the way that we never would have seen if we did it on our own.

I participated in a whale watching cruise in Maui! Despite making a last-minute reservation just three days after arriving on the island, they were able to accommodate my request for a Japanese guide.

The weather was great on the day of the cruise, and not only did we encounter several whales, but we also witnessed a lot of action. At the end, we were even able to see a big jump from the whales about four times, which made for a very satisfying experience!

I had previously participated in whale watching in Oahu, but the number of whales and how close we could get to them was completely different. I'm really glad I joined this tour in Maui. Due to the geographical features, it seems that there are more whales visiting Maui than Oahu. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Maui during the whale watching season! :)

なんと最後には大きなジャンプ姿も4回ほど見られて、大満足の体験でした！
オアフ島でもホエールウォッチングに参加したことがあったのですが、クジラの数や、見れる近さも全然違い、マウイ島でこのツアーに参加できてとてもよかったです。地形の特性上、オアフ島よりもマウイ島の方が訪れるクジラの数が多いようです。ホエールウォッチングの時期にマウイ島に来られた方は是非お勧めしたいアクティビティです:)

Nice hospitable crew both on ground and in air.

Our helicopter pilot Michael was so nice that he turned around to get a nice snap which we could be in the first flyby. We took our tour during March ( US mainland spring time ).

Great and memorable 1st experience of chopper ride. Since it rained that day we saw so many waterfalls.

Our tour was to fly to the other side of the island and then ride a tour mini van through the mountains/rainforests back to the helipad. Nice Tour guide Scott as he knew the whole island bit by bit of it which gave us many memorable nature spots along the ride. He was very helpful in clicking pics and explaining us about island, people and vegetation
