やまうちさんは最高の添乗員だった。

ハレアカラへは15時のお迎えだった。
気温29℃なのに防寒着を持っての集合だった。
さっそくハレアカラを目差して車は出発した。高地順応のために休憩を取りながらのハレアカラ行である。
1000mではスーパーマーケットに立ち寄り夕食の用意をした。
2000mではトイレタイムでアボカドのなっている木を写真に収めた
いいよ3000mの地点に到達したが空気を薄いと感じていた参加者もいた。
18時になって添乗員ヤマウチさんが薦めてくれた種々のポキの具材とご飯をポキ丼にして車内でいただいた。
暗くなったところで天体観察である。寒さの中、星や星座の説明を聞きながら天体観察させてもらった。ダウンコートを持って行ったのにも関わらず寒かった。手が悴んで感覚がなくなってきたのには驚いた。
ホテルへ帰ってきたのは22時半ころであったが、それにしても添乗員ヤマウチさんは多才で気が利いて、話が滑らかで子供を含めた観光客を半日以上もずっと飽きさせないで案内してくれたことには感謝している。
ハレアカラ観光には防寒着のほかに手袋が必須の持ち物であった。

Great time! Great crew! They call it appetizers, but it’s a meal. Even the drinks were superb. Fortunate enough to see one of the last whales of the season. Highly recommended! Would do again!

Discover Lanai Day Trip from Maui, Hulopoe Bay Snorkeling & Sweetheart Rock
Exceptional day cruise to Lanai

We boarded the Trilogy catamaran and saw humpback whales, ate a breakfast snack on way over to Lanai. We snorkeled and went on a nature hike. Later on we had a great lunch break at the pavilion at the small boat harbor. Our captain and crew served us very well throughout the trip. On sail back to Maui we had adult beverages and ice cream. It was first class and recommended trip for everyone

もう〜夢のような1日でした（╹◡╹）
マウイ島は初めてだったのですが、いろいろな情報を教えて下さったり、マウイ島以外のお話なんかもたくさんしてくださいました。
また山頂では、沈んでいく夕日を見ながらの食事は、経験した者にしか味わえない贅沢な気分でした。
シチュエーション毎に流れる音楽の演出はヤマピーさんらしく粋なはからいに脱帽です。
特に星空を眺めている時に流れた曲は、感動して泣いちゃいました(^◇^;)
おもてなしが半端ないです。
これからの人生を自分らしく生きる勇気をいただきました♡
マウイ島に行かれたら、ぜーーーったいオススメのツアーですよ。
また違う季節にお邪魔させてください。

以前ハワイ島で星空とサンライズのツアーに参加したことがありますが、今回のサンセットと星空のツアーも最高でした。また、山内さんのガイドも最高で、本当に参加して良かったです。娘夫婦にも薦めたいと思います。

With one family constantly running late, it drove the guide so mad that he stopped talking mid tour and gave us nothing.. it was sad

雲が多いのと満月で綺麗な夕日や満天の星空は残念でしたが、ヤマピーさんのお心遣いと会話は最高でした。又是非トライしたいと思います
このツアーは7月8月で闇夜の日がお勧めです。それと喫煙者にはありがたい山頂にも喫煙所はあります。但し火が点けばですが。

Yoshi was absolutely amazing! From the prompt pick up, the hospitality (tea, snacks) and the amazing knowledge, this is a tour I will always remember. Words can’t express how awesome being at that height and seeing the stars as you stand above the clouds was. Yoshi knew and shared so much and even had coats and gloves for us all as it does get cold at that height. He even showed us how to adjust the settings on our phones to timelapse and take great pictures. 1000% recommend Yoshi and this tour if you want to experience something breathtaking.

2023年に続き2回目やまピーさんガイドの星空ツアー。2023年8月のラハイナ大火の後、
マウイ島を訪ねる人たちも戻ってきたようで
頂上付近は混雑してましたが、絶好のエリアで大自然と星空を満喫できました。ドーナツやコーヒーなども頂いて星空ツアーベテランの山内さんの親切な説明と対応に今回も感服いたしました。マウイ島旅行では超おすすめのオプショナルツアーです。

ハレアカラの山頂から夕日と星空を観測できました。ガイドさんが立派な双眼鏡と望遠鏡を用意してくれ、星の解説と共に観測しました。今まで観たことがないほどの星が観れ、また望遠鏡を通して土星まで綺麗に観れ、とても感動しました。ぜひおすすめしたいツアーです！
ジャケットの貸し出しはありますが、夜は冷えるので暖かい格好をしてください！

とても幻想的で素晴らしい景色でした

往復長旅となるツアーでしたら、途中立ち寄りがあったりゆっくりとサンセットを楽しみながらの夕食タイムなど飽きることなく楽しめました。
夜ご飯は各自用意するので途中で立ち寄るポキを食べてもいいし、自分で用意してもいいかと思います。
