Molokini Island was a bit different from what I imagined... There were many cruisers docked, and it felt undeniably like a tourist spot, but the ocean was beautiful! At another snorkeling spot, I was able to see a sea turtle and was moved by the adorable fish I encountered. The lunch during the cruising (hamburger) was delicious, and the crew was kind (it was reassuring to have Japanese crew members). Above all, how many times did we see whales!! Even though it wasn't a whale watching tour... I thought it would be lucky if we encountered any, but the captain and crew's consideration was truly wonderful. It was a fantastic tour.

沢山のクルーザーが停船していて、観光スポット感が否めませんでしたが・・・、海は綺麗！
別のシュノーケルスポットでは、海ガメを見つける事も出来、可愛いお魚さん達に出会えて感動しました。
クルージング中のランチ（ハンバーガー）も美味しく、クルーが親切（日本人クルーで安心）でした。
何と言っても、クジラを何度見た事でしょう！！
ホエールウォッチングツアーではないのに…遭遇できたらラッキー！と思ってましたが、
キャプテン、クルーの方々の配慮が本当に素晴らしい、素敵なツアーでした。

I decided to book online the day before and received a confirmation by evening. I took my 10-month-old son with me, and the boat was large enough, so there were no issues. However, the chairs on the second deck are fixed and a bit cramped. We were able to see whales multiple times, which was satisfying. The early morning tour is reasonably priced and refreshing, so I highly recommend it. The English guide only mentioned which direction we were facing, so I think it’s not a problem.

前日お昼に思い立ち現地でネット経由で申し込み、夕方には確約のお返事がきました。10が月の息子を連れて行きましたが船が大きく問題ありません。ただ二階のデッキは椅子が固定で狭いです。鯨も何回も見れ、満足です。早朝ツアーが、値段お手頃清々しくオススメです。英語のガイドでも、何時の方向に今いるよくらいにしか言ってなかったので問題ないかと思います。

I'm so happy i did the early morning whale watching. The whales came right up to our boat and we saw so many. Best tour I've done!

This is my second time. I applied again because I enjoyed it last time.
Overall, I had more fun during the first visit.
- Molokini is deep, has few fish, and is far away.
- The snorkeling off Wailea was murky. I couldn't see the sea turtles I encountered last time.
- We had a great view of the whales this time.
- The hamburger was delicious, as expected.
- The swaying and waves were still intense.

I feel like once is enough. If you're just looking to snorkel, there are many places in Maui that are closer and have plenty of fish to see.

2度目です。前回よかったのでまた申し込みました。
全体的に初回のほうが楽しめました。
・モロキニは深くて魚が少ないし遠い
・ワイレア沖のシュノーケリングは水が濁っていた。前回会えたウミガメにも会えず
・クジラは今回のほうがばっちり見えました。
・ハンバーガーはやはりおいしい。
・揺れと波は相変わらず激しい

１度行けばいいかなという感じです。
シュノーケルだけならマウイにはもっと近くでいっぱいの肴に出会えるところがおおいので。

I really wanted to participate in whale watching, but since it wasn't during the peak season of February to March, I decided to enjoy the waters of Maui with this tour instead.

Since it was my first time in Maui, I chose the 9 AM tour that included a pickup service. A minivan taxi picked us up at our hotel and then picked up a family of foreigners at a nearby hotel before arriving at the meeting point by the Banyan Tree on the ocean side. We showed our voucher to the staff, and since we needed a Japanese audio guide, we received headphones in a bag and waited under the tent for a while.

Gradually, more people gathered, and we began boarding the boat heading to the submarine offshore. This is when we took photos. After about 10 minutes, we met up with the submarine and descended the ladder backward into the vessel. There were about 15 of us in total, including small children, and we were the only Japanese people. The staff seemed to be considerate, as they seated us at the very back (stern) away from the foreigners, allowing us to relax.

Underwater, there was no rocking, and since it was morning, it felt slightly dim, but the tour progressed smoothly. Along the way, we encountered a sunken ship, which made me laugh unexpectedly due to something I saw. I thought, "In a place like this..." (chuckle).

Before I knew it, the tour was over, and we surfaced. We exchanged places with the next group of people and watched the submarine descend as we headed back to the dock. Here, we were handed the photos taken before boarding (with a backing of the Atlantis) and those who wanted to buy them could pay $20.

As we were getting off, I realized that the staff member who had been next to us during the tour spoke Japanese, so they had indeed been considerate. I gave that staff member a tip as a thank you.

Overall, I made some great memories, but since I feel satisfied after experiencing it once, I rated it four stars. I hope this is helpful!

本当はホエールウォッチングに参加したかったのですが、本格的な見頃である２月～３月では無かったので、このツアーで取り敢えずマウイの海を堪能しました。

今回マウイは初めてだったので、送迎サービスがある９時開始を選びました。
ミニバンタクシーが私達をホテルでピック後、すぐ隣のホテルで外人さんファミリーをピックアップしてバニヤン・ツリー海側の集合場所へ到着。
受付の人にVoucherを見せ、私達は日本語の音声ガイドが必要だったので袋に入ったヘッドフォンを受け取りテント下で暫く待機。
次第に人が集まってきて、沖合の潜水艦に向かう船に乗船開始。その時に写真撮影を行います。
１０分ぐらいで潜水艦と合流しタラップを後ろ向きで降りて艦内へ。
小さな子供さん達を含めて総勢１５名程で日本人は私達だけでした。スタッフが気を遣ってくれたのか、外人さん達とは離れた一番奥（船尾）に座らされノンビリと出来ました。

海中は揺れも無く、朝という事で若干薄暗い感じでしたが順調にツアーが進んで行きました。
途中、沈没船が現れるのですが、とある物で思わず笑ってしまいました。
こんな所に・・・（苦笑

そうこうしている間にツアー終了となり海面へ浮上。
次のツアーの人達と交代して、潜行していく潜水艦を見届け船着場へと向かいます。
ここで乗船前に撮影した写真（アトランティス号の台紙付き）を手渡され、買いたい人は２０＄を払います。

降りる際、ツアー中私達の隣に居てくれたスタッフが日本語を話していたので、やはり配慮してくれてたんだなと改めて実感。お礼も兼ねてそのスタッフにチップを渡しました。

評価としては、良い思い出が出来ましたが、１度体験すれば満足なので星４つとしました。
参考になれば幸いです。

I participated in the 7:30 English tour. I was able to see whales. I saw spouts and tails several times, and just as we were about to head back to the port, we spotted another whale in the distance. The boat headed towards it, and this time the whale jumped and even waved goodbye at the end. I was very satisfied, especially since jumping is not something you see every day. Additionally, on the way back, we also got to see dolphins jumping up close! I think the waves were relatively calm, but when we stopped to watch the whales, the boat swayed quite a bit as we turned to face the direction where the whales appeared.

7：30の英語ツアーに参加しました。
クジラ、見れました。潮吹きと尾ひれを何度か見て、港へ戻りかけたときにまた遠くにクジラが見えたので、そちらの方に船が向かってくれて、今度はジャンプと最後にはバイバイまでしてくれました。ジャンプは毎日見れるものではないということで、なんとも演出上手なクジラで大満足でした。さらに帰りには間近でイルカのジャンプも見れました！
波は穏やかな方だったのではないかと思いますが、クジラを見るために停まっているときは、クジラの出た方向へ船先をぐいっと向けるため、その際大きく揺れました。

Like most things on maui, they are expensive for what they are, especially the tourist items. We found a discount early bird package and I think w paid just under $50 for two of us. We also tipped the crew $5 and paid for our picture $20...like real tourists do. Both the top and particularly the picture were optional but I got roped into it. It was early in the season also, just the start of the whale season. We did spot a few whales but they were a bit far away and hard to see. We were able to see a few from shore as well, but of course, even farther away. the weather was flawless and there is no reason that I saw not to take the early morning package for the reduced price. I would definitely try to sit up front in the future, but we sat in the back. The issue being best view, but there is enough to look at with the sides and rear that even the back is more than tolerable. We took some photos, which only included little blips of whales off in the distance. I think I would target this venue for prime season to be sure to see more. My understanding is about 4000-8000 whales will congregate.. We saw maybe 5.

It was early December, but we didn't see any whales at all. However, it was a relief to see dolphins. I wished we had a fish finder. For those who get seasick, please be careful as the boat is small and wobbly. When we can't see any whales, I would appreciate a voucher for the next time.

12月上旬でしたが全くクジラは見えませんでした。しかし、イルカが見れたのは救いでした。魚群探知機でもあればいいのにと思いつつ。船酔いをする方は船が小さめで揺れるので気をつけてくださいね。クジラが見れないときは次回サービス券ぐらい欲しいものです。

A big thanks to the captain and crew of the Trilogy for providing our family with a fantastic sail and snorkle! The crew was competent and experienced while maintaining a relaxed and friendly atmosphere aboard the sleek vessel. The cruise did not dissapoint with nice meals special order to meet my gluten free dietry needs. The snorkling stops were just long enough to enjoy with plenty of time to relish some traditional sail time as the captain hoisted the billowing sails over the catamaran. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy world class snorkling on beautifully clear aquamarine waters under the azure Pacific skies.

I participated because I wanted to experience the clarity of the ocean for my first time in Maui. I have a tendency to get seasick, but I thought it would be worth it to join since I heard the boat was of a decent size. However, it turned out to be a bad idea for me. The rocking wasn't too severe, but I think those who are prone to seasickness should avoid it.

Despite that, I did my best to go snorkeling. There weren't as many fish as I expected, but the clarity of the water was outstanding, and it felt great. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any sea turtles at the spot where we were supposed to encounter them.

The water was quite cold, so I recommend renting a wetsuit. Both breakfast and lunch were very delicious. I took my lunch to go, but I think the hamburgers would have been really enjoyable to eat on the boat if I hadn't been seasick.

Above all, the Japanese guide was very attentive and friendly. I won't participate again due to my seasickness (laughs), but I'm glad I joined despite that. I would give it one star less for the lack of fish.

初めてのマウイ島のため海の透明度を体感したくて参加しました。
元々船酔いする体質ですが、それなりの大きさの船と聞いていたので、一生に一度くらいはと思って参加しましたが、やはりダメでした。揺れはあまり大きくないのですが、船酔いする体質の方はやはり避けたほうがいいと思います。
それでもがんばってシュノーケリングはしました。
思ったよりも魚はいませんでしたが、やはり透明度は最高で、気持ち良かったです。ウメガメに会えるというスポットでも今回は残念ながら会う事はできませんでした。
けっこう水が冷たいのでウェットスーツはレンタルする事をオススメします。
朝食、昼食もとても美味しかったです。昼食は持ち帰って食べましたが、船酔いさえしていなければ船の上で食べるハンバーガーはとても美味しくて気持ち良かったのではないかと思います。
なにより日本語ガイドの方がずっと気にかけて頂いて、とても感じの良いガイドさんでした。
船酔いするのでもう参加する事はありませんが(笑)、船酔いしてでも参加して良かったです。
魚の少なさに星マイナス1つです。

The whales were huge, and I was very moved. Before boarding, there was a bit of trouble, and I managed to get on the boat after some back-and-forth in my broken Japanese English. While driving around the island, I saw them jump and spout from a distance several times, but seeing them up close from the boat was a completely different level of excitement.

クジラは大きくて、とても感動しました。乗船前にちょっとしたトラブルがあり、拙いジャパニーズ英語で押し問答して何とか乗れました。島をドライブ中、何度も遠目にですがジャンプや潮吹きを見ていたのですが、やはり船上から近くで見るのとは全然迫力が違いました。

I didn't expect there to be so few types of fish. I was hoping for many more varieties, so I was a bit disappointed. I was able to see a sea turtle, but it seems that some other guests weren't able to see it. There were few Japanese people. Given the content and the amount of fish, I won't be returning.

魚の種類があんなに少ないとは思いませんでした。

もっとたくさんの種類がいると勝手に期待していたので
拍子抜け。
ウミガメを見ることができましたが他のお客さんは見れなかった人も居る様子。日本人は少ないです。あの内容であの程度の魚の量ならリピートはありません。

The boat was in excellent condition, the crew was very helpful and organized so that all were safe at all times and having the greatest experience Molikini is the most awesome snorkel trip
That we do on maui every time we vacation we have gone , but pride of maui is the best experience yet. We will definitely book on this boat again .. captain Scott made it a very safe and enjoyable experience.

This is a good tour for families with very young kids or elderly parents. Sad that we didn't get to see a variety of sea life. In addition, I was expecting a glass bottom..it's not.

The entire crew on the "Pride of Maui" was wonderful and caring. The trip was awesome. The weather was in our favor. We went out to the Molokini crater and snorkeled while there my son and I tried snuba for the first time and loved it. The guide for that was very knowledgeable and helpful. The videographer was very concerned to get everyone's picture. We moved to a different location to see the turtles and again the crew was concerned that everyone got to see a few of them. The food on board was also enjoyable. The only downside for me and my kids was that it didn't last longer.

I had made a reservation for the first departure in the morning, but due to the wind, the boat couldn't set sail. I was informed at the check-in location that it would be possible in the afternoon. Since I didn't have any plans for the afternoon, I was able to accommodate it, but I wish I had received the notification a bit earlier. It was also disappointing that the whales didn't appear very close, making it a less enjoyable tour.

朝一番の出航で予約を入れていたが風の影響で船が出航出来ず、午後からなら出来ると当日受付場所で連絡された、午後の予定を入れてなかったので対応出来たが、もう少し早く連絡があればと思った。クジラも余り近くには出現してくれなかったので残念なツアーだった。

I was looking to snorkel around Molokini and get some time sailing ... this package offered both. They have two boats so they offer two start times - 7 and 8 AM. The boats are moored at opposite ends of the marina, which is why they ask you to check in at parking, but they told us pier 99 when they confirmed the night before by phone. The large parking lot, on the opposite side of the marina from pier 99, is still a fine choice, as there is not much parking near pier 99. There is a big shopping center across the street and they direct you to park there, but the marina lot would be a better walk to pier 99. The website tells you to wear deck shoes, but they made us remove our shoes when we boarded the boat and we didn't see them again until we returned to port. They had a large tub of good sunscreen available on board, so you don't need to bring your own. The crew was great - captain Yoshi was friendly and informative, the three mates doubled as snuba instructor, snorkeling advisors and wait staff. The whole crew worked hard to make the fun for everyone. We motored directly to Mokolini, about an hour transit. Breakfast on the way included awesome cinnamon rolls, fruit and coffee. We arrived at Mokolini and started snorkeling. It was too rough for Snuba and soon the wind and waves got worse so Yoshi hauled anchor and we moved to the second snorkel location. I guess this happens frequently so we were lucky to get some time at the iconic spot. Both places had a good variety of fish and we did see a ray at the shoreline location. We had lunch at anchor at the second snorkel location - teriyaki chicken, rice, and salad and ice cream. It tasted really good after all the swimming. After hauling anchor Yoshi secured the engines and we sailed for about an hour, enjoying excellent mai tais and beer. The drink service was a little slow, so we had to push to get our two drinks during the sailing time. In conlcusion - Trilogy was pretty good.

It was my first time in Maui! The Japanese staff were very kind, and I was able to fully enjoy my experience! I want to participate again!

We participated as a family of three. Unfortunately, there weren't many fish, but the water clarity was quite nice and refreshing. The children were also satisfied. I would like to thank the Japanese assistant who helped us when my daughter got seasick. We had various conversations, and I wanted to hear more about Hawaii. Thank you very much.

家族3人で参加しました。生憎、魚影は濃くなかったものの、透明度はなかなかで気持ちよかったです。子供たちも満足しておりました。日本人のアシスタントの方には、娘が酔ってしまいお世話になりました。色々話も伺い、もっとハワイの話を聞きたかったです。ありがとうございました。

It was a great thing to do children. They had lots of fun looking at the sealife.

I was able to enjoy seeing fish, sharks, and shipwrecks, regardless of the children's ages!

I was very satisfied to meet dolphins!

I think it's better to join the first morning trip because the sea is clearer.

Can I give 10 stars? If you're a newbie, don't worry, it's easy!!! I've never done snorkeling before and my wife is afraid of water...HELLO!!! We're giving this place 5 stars!!! That should tell you that this is the go-to place on Maui for snorkeling. We were in line for registration and a couple before us who have done snorkeling many times before were ranting and raving about the exceptional amenities on this adventure. It's a class-act all the way, from start to finish. Food, alcohol, corrective lens goggles, floatation devices...the list goes on and on. I can't put into words the level of excellence that this company delivers from start to finish. EVERY element is addressed and for two newbies who never did this kind of thing and are totally out of our comfort zone, this should give you a clue as to the totality of excellence that this company delivers.

First of all, Molokini Island had excellent water clarity. There are various comments about the lack of fish, but there were times when schools of fish came up to the surface, so I think it depends on the timing. While it’s true that there were more species around the Black Rock area, if you look closely, you can still find over ten species quite easily.

However, since the water is a bit deep, you might be at a slight distance from the fish at the bottom. That said, if you go closer to the shore, the water gets shallower, and because the clarity is high, you can see the bottom well, which is enjoyable in its own way.

I experienced snuba, but on this tour, there wasn’t time for regular snorkeling at Molokini if you were doing snuba, so those who want to snorkel at Molokini should keep this in mind.

After Molokini, we went to Turtle Town, where there were relatively fewer fish, but we were able to see turtles. It seems that Turtle Town can have strong currents on some days, making it inaccessible.

The tour itself mainly had foreign guests. The captain was a Japanese person who spoke English, but this was coincidental, and I think it changes from day to day (also, everything is primarily conducted in English). If you have no understanding of English at all, it might be a bit challenging, but if you understand a little, I think it’s not a problem at all. Additionally, the crew was very friendly, and I was satisfied with the food included.

まず、モロキニ島は透明度抜群でした。魚が少ないとか色々なコメントもありますが、水面に魚群が上がってくることもあり、タイミング次第かと思います。種類等は確かにブラックロック周辺などの方が沢山みられましたが、よく探せばそれでも10種以上はすぐ見つかるかと思います。
ただ、少し水深があるので、底の方の魚には若干距離があるかもしれません。とはいえ、岸辺に行けば水深は浅くなりますし、そもそも透明度が高いので底の方もよく見えてそれはそれで楽しいです。
当方はスヌーバを体験したのですが、今回のツアーでは、モロキニでスヌーバを行う場合は通常のスノーケリングをモロキニで行う時間はありませんでしたので、モロキニでスノーケリングをしたいと考えている人はご留意下さい。
モロキニの後にタートルタウンにいきましたが、こちらは比較的魚は少ないものの、カメには会うことができました。タートルタウンは日によっては流れが強く、行けない場合もあるようです。
ツアー自体は、外国のお客さんがメインでした。船長は英語を喋る日本の方でしたが、これはたまたまで、日によって変わると思います（また、基本は英語だけで全て行われています）。英語が全くダメな方は若干ハードルが高いかもしれませんが、多少わかるのであれば全然問題はないと思います。また、クルーは大変親切でしたし、ご飯も含め満足しています。

Overall, the cruising time is too long. While we could see the whales well, the time spent getting there and returning was excessive.

全体的には、クルージング時間が長すぎる。クジラはよく見えたが、見るまでの時間や
帰る時間が長すぎる。

The guides were entertaining and we saw an octopus. Fun way to see the water if you aren't into snorkeling.

My family and I had such a wonderful time! Our guide Rusty was awesome and was so informative. He made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves. Definitely will be booking with you again.

Molokini Island has very beautiful waters and is the perfect place for snorkeling. However, on the day we experienced it, the waves were rough, making it quite challenging. There are also Japanese staff members, which is reassuring. It all depends on your physical condition.

モロキニ島は海がとても綺麗でシュノーケルをするには最適な場所でした。
しかし、私たちが体験した日は波が荒くそれどころではない状況に・・・
日本人の方もスタッフにいますので安心できます。
あとは体調次第です。

Everything about this experience was great. The crew was super friendly and funny, and the snorkel was very interesting and simple to do. Absolutely amazing.

The staff were wonderful and the SNUBA adventure was very exciting. This is a great introduction to what scuba diving might be like and the location at Monokini is a great spot to SNUBA! I will be back!

I signed up for a plan that included transportation. When I arrived at the boarding location, there were about 30 to 40 participants, most of whom were from Europe and America, with only three Asians, including myself. However, you can rest assured that a very kind Japanese female guide will take care of you in detail.

Even in Hawaii, the water temperature is low. I wore a rash guard, so I didn't rent one, but it might be a good idea to rent a wetsuit if needed (costs $10). There was a shower with warm water on the boat, so I took a shower every time I got out of the sea.

As for Molokini Island, to be honest, I didn't see many colorful fish. However, the sunlight filtering through the water made the seabed incredibly beautiful, and I was captivated by it. For lunch, we had hamburgers where we could add as many vegetables as we liked. The basic rule was one per person, but if there were leftovers, we could have seconds. I was one of the first to go, but by the time I was offered "Would you like another one?" after the meal, there were hardly any vegetables left. I recommend going early. But I was able to enjoy a hamburger with two beef patties, savoring the taste of the meat.

At the snorkeling spot we headed to after lunch, I was able to see many sea turtles. While searching for sea turtles on the seabed, they would suddenly appear next to me, and I would hurriedly swim away. I think it's quite difficult to see sea turtles while swimming on Oahu, but here I was able to see many.

For those who want to snorkel at Molokini Island, see sea turtles, or are anxious about their English skills, I highly recommend this tour!! (Of course, since it's nature, there's no guarantee you'll see sea turtles...) Above all, the way the Japanese female guide interacted with us was not the typical condescending attitude often seen from Japanese living abroad; it was very pleasant, allowing me to truly enjoy the experience. (Personally, I’m not fond of that typical attitude.)

If I visit Maui again, I would like to use this service.

送迎付きプランで申し込みました。
乗船場所に着くと3~40人程参加者がいましたが、そのほとんどは欧米の方でアジア人というか日本人は私を含めて3人だけでした。
ですが、ご安心ください。とても親切な日本人女性のガイドさんが細々と面倒を見てくださいます。

ハワイと言え水温が低いです。ラッシュガードを着ていたので借りませんでしたが、場合によってはウエットスーツのレンタルを利用すると良いでしょう。（要10ドル）
船に温水の出るシャワーがあったので、海からあがる度に浴びていました。
モロキニ島ですが、正直あまり色鮮やかな魚を見ることはできませんでした。
しかし日の光がさしこむ海底がとても美しく、魅入ってしまいました。
お昼は自分で好きなだけ野菜を挟めるハンバーガーでした。基本1人1つですが、余ればおかわりOKでした。私は1番最初に取りに行ったのですが、食後「もう1ついかが？」と言われた時には野菜はほとんどありませんでした。早めがおススメですよ。
でもビーフパテを2枚も挟んでもらって肉の味を楽しめるハンバーガーを楽しむことが出来ました。
食後向かったシュノ―ケリングスポットでは海ガメをたくさん見ることが出来ました。
海ガメを探して海底を探していると、いつの間にか隣にいたりして慌てて泳いで離れたものです。
オアフ島で泳いでいる海ガメを見ることはなかなか難しいかと思いますが、こちらではたくさん見ることが出来ました。

モロキニ島でシュノ―ケリングしたい方、海ガメを見たい方、英語が不安な方。
このツアーとってもおススメですよ！！
（もちろん自然相手なので絶対に海ガメが見れるわけではありませんが…）
なにより日本人女性ガイドさんの接し方が海外に住む日本人にありがちな上から目線で距離感を保たないくだけた態度ではなく、とても心地よいもので心から楽しむことができました。
（個人的にはあのありがちな態度は苦手です）

またマウイ島を訪れることがあれば利用したいと思っています。
