I had participated in the sunset and stargazing tour at Mauna Kea twice, so I thought this would be similar, but it was completely different. I definitely recommend Haleakalā instead. I especially want to recommend it to families with children. It's not as cold as Mauna Kea, and the road conditions are good. Of course, being at a lower elevation, the thin air is also different, making it much easier on the body. Moreover, the sunset was just as beautiful as at Mauna Kea.

For the stargazing, we were the only ones in the dark since there were no other tours or personal vehicles around. This is different from Mauna Kea, which is usually crowded with many tours and personal cars. And what impressed me the most was that they provided chairs and blankets. Even in the cold, I was able to relax and enjoy the stars comfortably. I definitely plan to participate again next year.

ハワイ島マウナケアのサンセット＆星空観測ツアーには2回参加していましたので、今回も同じようなものかと思いましたが、全然違いました。
ハレアカラの方が断然おススメです。
特に子供連れの方に勧めたいです。
マウナケアほど寒くないですし、道路の状態が良い。もちろん低い分、空気の薄さも違うのでかなり身体が楽でした。
しかも、サンセットはマウナケアと同じくらい綺麗でした。

星空観測は、他のツアーや、個人の車がいなかったため真っ暗な中で私たちだけでした。これも、多くのツアーや個人の車でいっぱいのマウナケアと違います。
そして、何より感動したのは椅子と毛布を用意して頂いた事。
寒い中でもゆったりした姿勢でリラックスして星を見ることができました。
来年もぜひまた参加しようと思っています。

I chose this activity for its uniqueness. You rode a horse high up to the mountain top and were given photo options using your own camera. You were matched to a horse that suited your riding experience. The riding was either up a mountain or down a mountain. Very little on the flat lie. Once to the bottom, the view of the ocean was fantastic. Again, photo options were great. The staff was most obliging. My only concern was that the
one guide's horse and the horse I was given did not get along. Everytime the guide came to check on me, my horse would fold its ears back, tremble and prepare to bolt and often broke into a canter. It was a very unnerving feeling for a beginner rider. There was only two times available to canter for the experienced riders and it was only going uphill for a short stretch. Our group had three such riders.
If you are out for fantastic views, great photo ops, then this is the ride for you.
If you are out for a lovely ride then forget this outing.

Please be prepared for "extreme cold" when you participate. Even though it's Hawaii, plan for significant warmth.

Honestly, my first impression was wondering what kind of tour has a gathering before evening and a disbanding after 10 PM. From a distance, Haleakalā looked gentle and not that cold. (In reality, it is extremely cold.) I got to meet a Nene and captured some orbs, making it a fun tour beyond just the starry sky.

The storytelling by Yamachan was quite passionate, drawing from personal experiences. Regardless of who Yamachan is, I recommend that participants in this tour open their hearts, even if just temporarily. While being cool and rebellious can be understood as self-expression, even small children were quietly listening.

Seeing the night sky with my own eyes was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

ハワイですが、かなりの防寒を予定しておいてください。

集合は夕方前なのに解散が10時以降ってどんなツアー？ってのが正直な最初の印象でした。遠くから見るハレアカラはなだらかでそんなに寒そうじゃありませんでした。(本当は極寒です。)ネネさんにも会えたし、オーブも撮れたし、なかなか星空以外に葉っぱが付いて楽しいツアーでした。

語り部たる山ちゃんのお話は自己の体験になぞらえてなかなか熱いものでした。山ちゃんがどういう人かはさておいて、このツアーに参加される方は、仮初めでも心を開いてご参加されることをお勧めします。
クールで反抗期も自己表現として理解できますが、ちっちゃな子供ですら黙って聞き入っているですからね。

自分の目で見る夜空は素晴らしいものでした。
お勧めです。

This was my first trip to Hawaii and my first solo trip abroad, and thanks to a recommendation from an acquaintance, I extended my stay in Maui. Specifically, I stayed in Maui for 11 days and then planned to spend 4 nights and 5 days in Oahu (I’m writing this on the 6th day in Maui). Since I was going abroad, I wanted to do things that I couldn’t experience on a personal trip! So, I focused on tours led by local professionals.

To cut to the chase, this tour was amazing, and more than anything, I was very fortunate to meet Yamapi in Maui. I was a bit anxious about traveling alone, but there were only five participants in total, including me and two couples, which made for a perfect group size to enjoy the experience.

First, the sunset was an incredible view like nothing I had ever experienced before, and I didn’t know how to express it, so all I could say was “Wow~~~” ^^; (After returning to the hotel and looking at the photos and videos I took with my digital camera, I could gradually feel the greatness of that moment.) In early December, there were very few Japanese and foreigners, so it was nice to be able to enjoy sightseeing in such a quiet environment.

I thought the sunset would be the highlight, but the stargazing turned out to be the main event of the tour. Yamapi, being a stargazing enthusiast, used high-performance equipment to show us some truly wonderful stars and the moon. Both the sunset and the stargazing were so fantastic that it felt like a scene from a movie, making it hard to tell whether it was reality or not.

Furthermore, as you can read from others' reviews, the most wonderful aspect was definitely Yamapi's personality and storytelling. He made sure that all participants were satisfied with thoughtful touches throughout the tour, which is what you would expect from a professional Japanese guide (laughs). The tour, with Yamapi’s storytelling in the car and listening to his favorite BGM, will surely become an unforgettable memory in my life (I’m still in my 20s and want to participate in local tours around the world, but I have a feeling that this first overseas local tour will become my all-time favorite ^^;).

Thank you so much for allowing me to experience such a wonderful tour! I am very grateful to Yamapi and Alan1.

Next time, I’d like to bring friends and family, maybe next year! Mahalo!

今回は初のハワイ＆海外一人旅でしたが、知り合いからの勧めもありマウイへの滞在を長くしました。具体的にはマウイへ11日間滞在しその後オアフへ4泊5日の予定です（この文章はマウイ6日目に書いてます）。どうせ海外へ行くなら個人旅行では体験できないことをしたい！というわけで現地のプロが行うツアー重視で考えていました。

結論から言いますとこのツアーは最高でしたし、そして何よりもヤマピーさんとマウイで出会えたことがとても幸いでした。私は一人旅なので少々不安でしたが、他は二組のご夫婦と私のみの合計5名の参加者でしたのでちょうど良い人数で楽しむことができました。

まずはサンセットですが、いままでに経験したことのない絶景でしたので何と表現したら良いかわからず、ただ「すげ~~~」としか言えませんでした^^;　（ホテルに帰ってからデジカメで撮った写真や動画を観るとその時の凄さがジワジワと実感できます）12月前半は日本人はもちろん外人さんも少ないので周りがとても静かな環境で観光できたのも良かったです。

そして、私はこれがメインかと思っていたのですが、天体観測が今回のツアーのメインでした。ヤマピーさんは天体観測マニアだけあって高性能なマシーンを駆使して私達にとても素敵な星々やお月様を見せて下さいました。サンセットも天体観測もそうですが、まるで映画の世界のようで現実なのか非現実なのかわからなくなるくらい素晴らしかったです。

さらに、他の方の感想も読むとわかりますが、一番素晴らしいのはやはりヤマピーさんの人柄と語りだと感じました。私達参加者が全員満足できるような工夫がいたるところでされていたので、さすがはプロの日本人だとも思いました（笑）車中や天体観測でのヤマピーさんの語りと車中のでヤマピーさんお気に入りのBGMを聴きながらのツアーは人生で忘れられない旅の思い出になると確信しています（私はまだ20代でこれから世界中の現地ツアーに参加したいと思っていますが、初の海外現地ツアーが歴代1位になりそうな予感がしています ^^;）

このような素敵なツアーを体験させていただき本当にありがとうございました！ヤマピーさんとAlan1さんにはとても感謝しております。

今度は来年あたりに友人や家族を連れてきたいです！マハロ！

I have climbed Haleakalā twice during the day, but experiencing it from sunset to night for the first time created wonderful memories.

First of all, since it's a high-altitude mountain, some people may feel unwell if they ascend too quickly, so we gradually climbed with appropriate breaks. The selected rest stops were great, including a light snack at Krispy Kreme and a visit to a town where artists gather, reminiscent of the hippie movement. The shops felt natural and were not the typical forced tourist traps, making the drive before the main event enjoyable.

The sunset at the summit was stunning, with the clarity of the air enhancing the colors in a way that exceeded my expectations, changing beautifully over time and keeping my eyes glued to the view. (For those taking photos, a DSLR with exposure correction might be ideal.) The starry sky was breathtaking, especially since it was a night with a dim moon, creating an overwhelming sense of presence that felt almost tangible. At night, they set up chairs in the empty parking lot, allowing us to comfortably observe while they provided warm coats and blankets for those who needed them. The explanations with a laser pointer were clear and engaging, making it feel like we were in a planetarium. Children were fascinated to see constellations and the Summer Triangle up close, which they had only seen in books.

Our tour guide, Mr. Yamauchi, received high praise from many others as well, and he truly lived up to expectations, entertaining us with natural conversation from departure to return without being pushy. The only minor issue was that getting in and out of the last seat in the van was a bit challenging due to the number of participants during summer vacation (though my size contributed to that), but overall, it was a very satisfying tour.

　ハレアカラは今まで昼間のツアーで2回上ったことがあるのですが、初めてサンセットから夜にかけてのハレアカラを体験出来て、いい思い出になりました。
　まずは標高の高い山で、一気に登ると気分悪くなる人もいるとのことで、程よい休憩間隔で徐々に登っていくのですが、休憩場所のセレクトもいい感じで、クリスピードーナツでの軽食やヒッピームーブメント？の匂いが残るようなアーティストの集まっている街、お土産店的な店でもナチュラルテイストな感じのところで、よくツアーで強制的につれこまれるような、売らんかな的な店ではないところなどがチョイスされていて、本番前のドライブでも飽きませんでした。
　山頂でのサンセットは空気の透明度が違うせいか、色の映え方が素晴らしく、期待以上の展開が時間の経過とともに変化していき目が離せない感じでした。（写真撮る人は、露出補正などしやすい一眼がいいんじゃないでしょうか）
　星空も月齢的に明るくない日であったので、圧倒的な迫力で、手のひらでなでることが出来るような錯覚に陥るほどの感じでした。夜はがらあきの駐車場に椅子をセッティングしてくれ、座った状態で（防寒用のコートやひざかけも希望者には貸してくれました）快適に観察でき、レーザーポインターでの説明も、プラネタリウムにでもいるかのようにわかりやすく行ってくれました。子供も図鑑で見ただけの星座や大三角などをじかに見ることができて、興味をひかれていました。
　ツアーガイドの山内さんも、他の方も絶賛している人が多いですが、まさに期待通りの人で、けっして押しつけがましくはない自然なトークで出発から帰着まで楽しませてくれました。
　夏休みで参加人数も多かったため、移動のバンの最後席からの乗り降りがちょっと大変（私がでかいせいもあるけど）だったことくらいが困ったけれども、他は大満足のツアーでした。

This was my first stay on Maui for our honeymoon, and it was also my first time at Haleakalā Volcano. There were other tours available, but I found this one online and chose it. In the end, it was truly great.

What was wonderful was not only the content of the tour but, above all, the guide was amazing. Unlike other tours, we stopped for a restroom break on the way to the volcano, but it wasn't just a restroom stop; we got to visit a town, do some shopping, and the guide introduced us to souvenirs, making even the restroom break enjoyable.

Additionally, the guide took a lot of photos for us and offered warm tea... And the most memorable part was the presentation during the star-gazing and the guide's storytelling. It felt like, as we were starting our new life together, I learned a lot from that story, and it motivated me to strive for a fulfilling life.

I will never forget that starry sky and what I felt at that moment. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would love to join again with my parents next time.

今回ハネムーンでマウイ島に初めて滞在し、ハレアカラ火山も初めてでした。
他にもツアーはあったのですが、ネットで見つけてこのツアー選びました。
結果、本当に良かったです。
何がいいって、内容はもちろんのこと、なんと言っても

また、他のツアーと違って火山へ行く途中、トイレ休憩に寄るのですが、ただトイレに行くだけでなく、街に立寄り買物できたり、お土産の紹介をしてくれたり、トイレ休憩までも楽しめました。
それから、写真をたくさん撮ってくれたり、温かいお茶のサービスがあったり・・・
そしてそして、一番印象に残ったのが星を鑑賞する際の演出とガイドさんの語り。
なんだか、結婚して新しい生活を始めるにあたり、あのお話は
多くを学び、そして私も自分の人生満足できるようにがんばろうって思いました。
本当にあの星空、あの時思ったこと・・・一生忘れません。

Underground cave exploring on this tour made me seriously feel like I was some scientist sent to uncover hidden secret mystical wonders of the unknown world! I felt chills being there, it was so cool!

The road to Hana was as gorgeous as I had read it was, and the ride was nice and smooth and comfortable. Overall a rockin' tour!

Everyone should take this tour. Although it is open to the public, the guides provide you with a wealth of knowledge you may not get otherwise. They also know of secluded waterfalls, so you can actually enjoy them. Dylan was an amazing guide and truly expanded our knowledge! It kept our interest the entire time.

Jeremy was a fantastic guide who made the trip worthwhile.

The staff made us feel so welcome. I was nervous about riding. Butch was our guide and he really went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire ride. He took a lot of pics for us and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will go back again for sure!

とても充実した一日が得られましたし、
甥御達には心に残る思い出となりました。
未だに山内さんの事を「ボス」と呼んでいます。

わがファミリーは全員完食でした。

Thank you for the amazing stargazing tour yesterday. It was my first tour experience on my fourth visit to Maui... I thought it would be nice to casually drive around wherever I wanted in a rental car (laughs), so I underestimated the "tour" itself.

I was deeply moved by Yama-P's knowledge of the stars, his presentation, and the stories shared in the car; I was completely satisfied. I felt like I confirmed that my way of enjoying annual trips to Hawaii was not wrong.

I was also surprised to learn that the couple Mike and Loreen, whom I met two years ago, were close acquaintances of Yama-P! I strongly felt that this was truly a "connection."

I felt a bit bad about the senior discount!

昨日は圧巻の星空ツアーをありがとうございました。四度目のマウイで初めてのツアー体験・・・レンタカーで好きな所を（適当に）まわる事がお気楽で良いと思っていたので（笑）　「ツアー」事態をなめていました。
山Pの星の知識・演出・車内のお話　すべてに感動し、大満足でした。そして、毎年ＨＡＷＡＩＩ旅行を楽しんでいる今までの生き方が間違っていなかったことを確認できた気がしました。

On March 24, I participated with my 6-year-old son. Over ten years ago, when I stayed on Maui for work, I had no idea I would see such a wonderful starry sky; I only thought, "What a pleasant island." This time, I joined because I wanted my child to have various experiences.

Our guide, Yamapi, and the Takeda family from Nagoya, who joined us, were incredibly kind, making it a memorable tour. My son, who is only 6, was moved by Yamapi's stories and seemed to take something away from it. I definitely want to participate again with my child and listen to Yamapi's stories while enjoying the beautiful starry sky.

The next day, when we received our certificates, my son was excited to see Yamapi again, and after we parted, he mentioned, "I almost cried."

Thank you for the wonderful memories. There are various tours available, but the sunset at Haleakalā, the starry sky, and Yamapi's narration are experiences I would want to join again and again. Please continue to share that emotion with many others.

I would like to participate again when I go back to Maui, so even though my son is chatty, I hope to see you again. Thank you very much.

　ガイドのヤマピーさんをはじめ、ご一緒させていただいた名古屋の竹内さんご家族にも本当に良くしていただき、大変思い出に残るツアーとなりました。
　人生経験豊富なヤマピーさんの話には、６歳の息子も感動をし、何かを感じ取っていたようです。また是非子供と一緒に参加して、素晴らしい星空を見ながらヤマピーさんのお話を聞きたいと思いました。
　翌日、Certificateをいただいた際にもう一度ヤマピーさんにお会いでき息子のテンションも上がり、別れた後「泣きそうになっちゃった。」ともらしていました。
　素敵な思い出をありがとうございまいた。色々なツアーがありますが、ハレアカラの夕日と星空とヤマピーさんの語りは、何度でも参加したいと思えるものでした。これからも多くの方にあの感動を伝えていってください。

I participated at the end of last year, but I'm very late in writing this. This tour was absolutely amazing.

After enjoying the magnificent sunset sinking into the sea of clouds from an elevation comparable to Mount Fuji, you immerse yourself in a world filled with countless stars. It's an experience you can't have in your everyday life. Also, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, was very kind and kept the guests engaged. If you're going to Maui, definitely consider joining this tour.

富士山並みの標高から、雲海に沈みゆく雄大なサンセットを鑑賞したのち、数えきれないぐらいある星の世界に浸る。
普段の日常では味わえない体験ができます。

Since it was my first time booking individually online, I was nervous until the pickup arrived, but Yamapee came to greet me personally, and it went smoothly.

The sunset and starry sky were beyond my imagination!! It's not just about watching the sunset. The clouds illuminated by the sunset along the way to the summit showed wonderful expressions one after another, making me feel like I had become a hermit. Everything is on a grand scale.

Many people seem to come to Maui seeking something beyond just the scenery, whether it's healing, purification, or to gain energy, but being in that vast nature makes the chaotic daily life feel very small, and it brings a gentle feeling.

Lying down in a completely silent place and gazing at the star-filled sky. It's just that, yet for some reason, I couldn't stop crying. It was a mysterious experience.

I am grateful to Yamapee for taking the time to let me enjoy Maui's nature.

I definitely want to go again, but I would appreciate it if the fried items in the bento could be reduced (>_<). They are heavy for my stomach...

初めてネットから個人で予約したので、お迎えが来るまでドキドキでしたが、ホテルまでYamapeeさん（若く見えますが、半世紀仲間です(*^^)）が直々にお迎えに来てくれ、スムーズでした。

サンセットと星空は、想像以上！！
ただの、夕日見学じゃないですよ。
山頂までの途中に見える、夕焼けに照らされる雲も、次々にすばらしい表情を見せてくれて、自分が仙人にでもなった感覚です。
とにかく、全てのスケールが大きいです。

癒しとか浄化とか、パワーもらいたいとか、景色という目的以外に、マウイには何かを求めて来る方が多いみたいですが、あの大きな自然の中にいると、ゴチャゴチャしている日常生活はとても小さい事に思えて、優し~い気持ちになれます。

全く音のない場所で、満天の星を寝そべって見る。
ただそれだけなのに、なぜか涙が止まらなくなる。
不思議な体験でした。

ゆっくりと時間を取って、マウイの自然を満喫させてくれるYamapeeさんに感謝です。

ぜひまた行きたいですが、お弁当の揚げ物少なくしてもらえると嬉しいなぁ(>_<)

The Waterfall hike was a lot of fun... there were opportunites to swim in the waterfall pools and to get awesome pictures under the waterfalls. words of advice... bug spray bug spray bug spray! we applied 3 different times and still got eaten up! but other than that it was a lot of fun.

This was a great tour. We were able to see a lot of the island. The first part, up to Hana, was beautiful! Our tour guide pointed out places that were historically important, and various Hawaiian plants. He also told us which plants were native to Maui and which were brought over in canoes from other Pacific islands as well as what the plants were used for. Very informative! I would not recommend driving to Hana yourself; the road is narrow - one lane in a lot of places, with hairpin corners, and mostly on the side of the cliff. The drive around the back side of the volcano was not so fabulous. It was a very dry climate there so not as lush and beautiful. We pretty much just drove through that area. Made the tour seem kind of long.

We went on the 5 hour hike and had a blast! This was by far our favorite activity on Maui. The rainforest was beautiful! We saw 4 waterfalls, 3 with pools that we were able to swim in. Our guide, Helga, was very friendly and informative. She explained about the many varieties of plants and fruits on the hike as well as sharing other information about the island. We were able to pick and sample guavas fresh from the tree! This was an easy hike through some of the most beautiful scenery on Maui. I would highly recommend this activity!

I was debating whether to drive to Haleakalā or join a tour when I found this tour through an internet search.

As someone who is always worried about restrooms, I felt reassured by the fact that the tour started in the afternoon and included plenty of breaks, so I signed up...

Participating in the tour was truly overwhelming in the best way. I completely forgot about my restroom worries and was mesmerized by the crystal-clear sky and the vast Haleakalā crater, which felt like I had arrived on another planet! The moment the sun set was a breathtaking scene that made me feel like I was on some distant star.

After the sun went down, we were told, "You can't look at the sky until I say so," and I held back until I got the go-ahead. The starry sky I saw was absolutely stunning.

I was truly amazed to see how the Milky Way looked! I had learned how to find the North Star in science class, but I had never been able to locate it on my own. However, with a high-tech pointer, they showed me how to find the North Star, and I was finally able to see it with my own eyes, which was incredibly moving.

They showed us various stars and planets through a professional telescope, and it was a day where I could truly experience what I had learned in science class.

The conversations we had while stargazing resonated deeply with my husband and me, who just got married, and I feel certain that these moments will become a source of support for us in the milestones to come.

ハレアカラ山にレンタカーで行くか、ツアーで行くかで悩んでいたときにインターネットで検索してこのツアーを見つけました。

お手洗いが常に心配な私にとって昼以降の出発で、休憩もたくさんあるという内容に安心感を抱き、申し込んだのですが・・・

参加してみて、とにかく感動することでイッパイでした。トイレの心配ばかりしていた自分などすっかり忘れて、みたことのない澄み切った空、視界に広がる大きなハレアカラのクレーターはまるで宇宙のどこかの惑星に来たよう！！夕日の沈む瞬間も本当にどこかの星へ来たような錯覚を覚える風景でした。

日が沈んだ後に、「空を見ていいというまで見てはいけませんよ」といわれ、ずっと我慢しGoサインが出たときにみた星空は本当に圧巻でした。

天の川ってこうなっていたのか！！と本当に驚きました。北極星の見つけ方も理科では習っていましたが、自分の力ではその方法で見つけられずにいました。しかし、高機能なポインターで私でもわかるように、北極星を教えてくださり、やっと自分の目で北極星を見ることができ感動しました。

本格的な望遠鏡で色々な星、惑星を見せて下さり、理科で習ってきたことを自分の目で実感できた一日でした。

星を見ながら、お話して下さったことは結婚したばかりの私たち夫婦の心の中に大きく響き、これからの私たちにとって節目節目において心の支えになっていくのは間違いないと感じています。

I visited Maui for the first time on August 21 with my 9-year-old daughter. We rented a car, but since Maui has many mountain roads and it seemed difficult to drive, especially as first-time visitors, I searched for a tour with Alan1 and decided to join this one. The deciding factor was the reviews mentioning that Yamapi, the Japanese guide, had many repeat customers. Since I'm not good at English, having a Japanese guide was the best choice for me (laughs).

On the day of the tour, we departed with a family of five from Osaka, who had three children, making a total of eight of us. With four kids, it was lively and fun! The adults were all friendly, so it felt like we were traveling with friends. We enjoyed Krispy Kreme donuts and explored a town with a gallery featuring the artwork painted on our van, and then we headed to Haleakalā. I learned that Haleakalā is as tall as Japan's Mount Fuji (very high!), and you can drive all the way to the top (amazing!).

Our experienced guide, Yamapi, made sure to take breaks at 1,000 meters and 1,500 meters to help our bodies acclimate to the altitude. He was an excellent driver, and even though we went quite high, I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. While chatting (surprisingly, the topics were about science, which was intellectual), we climbed up saying, "We're going to eat the clouds!" When we reached the clouds, we opened the car windows and all tried to "eat" the clouds. Once we emerged from the clouds, we were greeted by an endless blue sky and a sea of clouds! The view when we got out of the car was so breathtaking that I thought it might be heaven.

The sunset we saw from there was truly beautiful and magnificent, and I was deeply moved. I believe I will never forget the sunset in the panoramic nature surrounding us. The countless stars we saw after sunset were also wonderful. Both the children and adults felt the life of the Earth and experienced that we are not living alone but are being supported by it. It was a fantastic tour.

8月21日にはじめてマウイ島にきました。9歳の娘と2人でレンタカーも借りたのでですが、マウイは山道が多く運転も大変そうだし、観光名所も初めてだとわかりにくそうだったのでAlan1さんで探してこのツアーに参加させていただきました。
決め手は山ピーさんの日本語ガイドでリピーターがたくさんいらっしゃるという書き込みでした。私は英語が苦手なのでやはり
日本語ガイドが1番です(笑)
当日は山ピーさんの引率のもと、大阪から来た3人兄弟のいる5人家族と私と娘の8人で出発しました。
子供が4人いたのでにぎやかで楽しいこと！大人もみんな気さくに話せる方々だったのでなんだか友達の家族と旅行に来ているようでした。クリスピードーナツを食べ、バンに描いてある絵の画廊がある町などを探索していよいよハレアカラに向かいます。ハレアカラは日本の富士山の高さのある山だそうで（高い！）、頂上まで全部車で行けます（すごい！）。
ベテランの山ピーさんが少しずつ体が高所に慣れるよう1000メートル、1500メートルなどの地点で休憩をはさんで下さって、運転もとても上手なのでかなり高い所にいきますが、苦しくなったりは全くありませんでした。
ワイワイ（意外と話の内容は理科のお話で知的）言いながら「雲を食べるぞー！」と登って行き、雲の中に来た時に車の窓を開けてもらいみんなで口を開けて雲を食べました。雲を抜けるとそこはどこまでも続く青い空と雲の海！車を降りて立った景色は
天国かしら？と思うほどの見たこともない世界
そこから見た夕日は本当に美しく壮大で感動しました。
３６０度のパノラミックな大自然の中でみた日没は生涯忘れないと思います。日没後に見た降るような無数の星空☆も素晴らしいものでした。
子供たちも大人もみんなそれぞれ地球の命を感じ、自分ひとりで生きているんじゃなくて、生かされているんだということを体感できた素晴らしいツアーでした。
山ぴーさん、本当にありがとうございました。また参加させていただきたいと思います。

There are ups and downs, but the view of the coastline of Kafului when going down is wonderful. Along the way, a cowboy-style guide picks guava and passion fruit for us and takes commemorative photos at the summit and the coast. The horse tends to stop and graze, making it difficult to control, but it navigates well. It's an active itinerary with a total riding time of about two hours. After getting off the horse, everyone bursts into laughter at the sight of each other with bow-legged stances and tanned skin. Be sure to prepare a change of clothes, as your outfit will get dirty, and don't forget to take care of your throat and nose! Driving on the winding road with a rental car is not covered by insurance, so do so at your own risk.

　アップダウンがありますが、下りるときのカフルイの海岸線の眺めがすばらしいです。途中、カウボーイスタイルのガイドさんが、グァバとパッションフルーツを採ってくれたり、頂上と海岸で記念撮影をしてくれます。馬は、すぐ道草してしまい、なかなかいうことを聞いてくれませんが、上手にナビゲートしてくれます。乗馬時間正味２時間のアクティブな行程です。馬を降りた後、ガニ股でガングロ姿に、参加者全員大爆笑です。服がダート染めになってしまいますので、着替えの用意と喉と鼻の中のケアをお忘れなく！
