We had a nice ride and the horses were matched up with our weight, age, and skill level as stated. This was my third time riding in 20 years and I went as a beginner and did well. I was concerned that I was a pre-pre-pre beginner. Yet I survived and have 3 nice pictures and some good memories of the trail. We had 2 tour guides and my regret is that I wished I'd given more beside $10 for a tip since they were watching my back so to speak :)

We had the best tour guide, he was very informative, friendly and funny. He made the trip, My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a great time thanks to "Robert".

Initially, I signed up because I wanted to watch the sunset from the mountain with my family, but I was surprised by the experience! I got to see the rare silver sword plant that only blooms once every few decades, and we had the chance to do serious stargazing with a telescope (we even saw shooting stars!). Above all, the explanations provided by Mr. Yamauchi, with his extensive knowledge of astronomy, were truly moving.

The only regret was that the sunset was hidden by clouds, but I had a wonderfully fulfilling time. I've heard that Hawaii is known as a mecca for stars, and it seems like many stars can be observed here. Until now, I only had the image of Hawaii as a place for marine sports, so this was a new discovery for me. Later, when I asked a few Japanese residents living in Maui, it seems that Mr. Yamauchi's stargazing sessions are quite famous.

最初は家族で山からサンセットを見られるということで申込みましたが、参加してみてびっくり！
数十年に一度しか開花しない銀剣草の花を見られたり、本格的な望遠鏡での天体観測ができたり（流れ星も見えました！）、そしてなにより山内さんの豊富な天文知識による解説が感動的でした。
唯一、サンセットが雲に隠れて見えなかったのが心残りですが、すごく充実した時間を過ごせました。
ハワイは星のメッカと言われているらしく、たくさんの星が観測できるようです。これまで、ハワイにはマリンスポーツのイメージしかなかった私には、新たな発見でした。
後でマウイ在住の日本人数人に聞いたところ、山内さんの天体観測は結構有名みたいです。

I participated in this tour through a friend's introduction. It was our first trip to Hawaii as a couple! Since I had made the reservation online in advance, it was easy to confirm everything by phone once we arrived in Maui. On the day of the tour, I went with my family. At Krispy Kreme, I was amazed that I could eat donuts right away, as in Tokyo you usually have to wait in line! After that, we enjoyed ice cream that can only be found in Hawaii, which was delicious!

After filling our stomachs, it was finally time to start our hike (by car). As we gained altitude, the scenery became incredibly beautiful, but the air got thinner and it started to get cold. Thankfully, I was lent a down jacket, so it wasn't a problem. However, being sensitive to the cold, bringing a heat pack was definitely the right choice! It seemed that Takarin didn't need one, though. Along the way, we saw a flower that only blooms once every twenty years! It was amazing!

Finally, it was time for the sunset! It was a wonderful and emotional moment. It was truly beautiful and an incredible experience that you can't see in Japan! I definitely want to go back and see it again! I hope everyone gets to experience this too. I took a lot of photos. The experience was so amazing that I forgot all about the cold!

Satisfied, we were then treated to Chef Yamauchi's special bento! It was incredibly delicious!

Lastly, we had stargazing. We all exclaimed "Wow!" at the starry sky we had never seen before. The Milky Way, constellations, and the Big Dipper... we were overwhelmed by the stunning starry sky! The crescent moon we saw through the telescope was full of craters. I was also moved by Yamauchi's stories! I feel like my emotions have grown (in a good way). I'm really glad I participated in this tour. It was a great happiness to share so many encounters and emotions with everyone and my loved ones. When I go back to Maui, I will definitely join this tour again to see Yamauchi!

今回お友達の紹介でこのツアーに参加しました。
２人での初めてのハワイ旅行！
事前にネットで予約していたのでマウイ島に着いてからは電話での確認のみで簡単でした。
当日はFamilyと一緒に行きました。クリスピークリームドーナツは東京ではまだまだ並ばないと食べれないのに…なんとすぐに食べられました！
その後は山内さんの好きなハワイにしかないアイスクリームをご馳走していただきました☆ちょーおいしかったぁ~

お腹もいっぱいになって、いよいよ登山開始！(車でね）
標高が高くなるにつれて景色はすごく綺麗で…でもだんだん空気が薄くなり、寒さがやってきました。
でも、ダウンを貸していただいたので問題なしでした。でも…寒がりなまりりんはホッカイロ持参したのは正解でした！！たかりんにはホッカイロは必要なかったみたい。。。
途中で20年に一度しかみることのできないお花をみちゃいました！！！すごいなぁ~
いよいよ☆サンセットです！！！素敵＆感動の瞬間☆
まじで綺麗で…日本では見ることのできない素晴しい感動でした！！！絶対また行きたいし、見たい！！！みんなにも是非行ってほしいです。いっぱい写真も撮っちゃいました。
寒さなんて忘れちゃうくらいすごいんだよ！

満足してその後はシェフ山内特製幕の内弁当の登場！！！

今までみたこともない星空にみんなで「すご~い」
天の川とか星座とか北斗七星とか…とにかく満点の星空に感動の連発でした☆☆☆
望遠鏡でみた三日月もクレーターがいっぱいだったよ~

自分の中で気持ちが大きくなった気がします（いい意味でね）
このツアーに参加して本当によったです。たくさんの出会いや感動をみんなで＆大切な人と感じられたことがすごく幸せでした。またマウイ島に行ったら絶対に山内さんに会いにこのツアーに参加します！

My wife,daughter and I spent 10 days on Maui.The highlight was going on this horseback ride.Trails with breathtaking views, a well informed and friendly staff.Our guides Frenchy and Steve made this very enjoyable. The staff was very good in joining riders experience to the right horse. Being beginners, we were a bit nervous at first.Our guides put us right at ease and that made for a much more enjoyable ride. I would highly recommend this activity.

We had a wonderful time at Mendes Ranch. The staff was extremely curtious and friendly. The guides were friendly, funny and knowledable!! My 8 & 10 year old boys had a fantastic time; we will not hesitate returning to Mendes Ranch on our next visit to Maui!!

My Mom and I had never been on horses before this trip. Our guide Rocky was fantastic. He was very informative about the land, the island and wonderful little details about everything. I would go back to Mendez again and again. All the guides took their time to make sure the horses were matched up perfectly with the riders. You get a little dirty when it's too dry but it's so worth it when you get to see so much of the island. Pictures to follow.

Guides were good, except folks were concerned with Damien's issues (Kauai) and extra long fingernails that were disgusting

Had a great time. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. It had been a large number of years since I had been on a horse, after 5 minutes I was loving it. They took care and time with those less experienced. Matched the horse to the person's ability.

We were a couple who reserved for January 25th, and we appreciate your hospitality. Unfortunately, due to the rain clouds, our sunset was obstructed by clouds on the mountainside, but the sky turned a beautiful orange.

Finally, we were ready to enter the world of stars—dressed in the warm down jackets provided, we sat back comfortably in our chairs, and the sky above was filled with countless stars. Our thoughts about Yamapi's star were passionately expressed, but then the rain came again. However, with the amazing telescope that perfectly focused on any star, we were able to see Subaru and the admired Andromeda.

On our way down, we stopped the car and caught glimpses of stars during breaks in the rain. Then, we headed home while listening to pleasant background music.

The mountain weather is whimsical, and while the stars were a bit disappointing, there was so much more! The hot and fluffy crispy donuts and the nostalgic taste of the Grigri ice cream were incredibly delicious, bringing back memories of Maui! I wanted to get out of the car and see the relaxed ranch.

At the shop, I sampled a lot and bought Maui-made jams and butter as souvenirs, and the recommended tea from Yamapi was also very tasty! (Next time I come, I’ll buy a lot!) The amazing bento we had in the car, with simmered dishes and tempura, was delicious too!

At the observation deck, thanks to the bad weather, we were able to see the Brocken, and the flowing clouds in the crater were like a mystical world of Dali; I could have watched it forever. Thank you for a wonderful time.

あいにくの雨雲で山腹で雲に邪魔されながらのサンセットとなってしまいましたが、
空がオレンジ色に染まってとても綺麗でした。
いよいよ星の世界へーーー
用意された暖かいダウンジャケットを着て、ゆったりとイスに座り、見上げた空は満天の星
ヤマピーの星への思いは熱く語られ、、、、、
と予定ではなるはずだったのですが、またまた雨がー
でも、ヤマピーのどんな星にもピタリとピントがあうスゴイ望遠鏡で、
スバルや憧れのアンドロメダを見ることができました。
下山途中も車を止めて、雨のあい間に星を見ました。
そして心地良いバックミュージックを聴きながら帰途へ。

山の天気は気まぐれで、、、、、星はちょっと残念でしたが、それ以外が沢山!!!
熱々フワフワのクリスピード―ナッツと懐かしい味のグリグリアイスはとっても美味しくって、
マウイ思い出の味に!!!
のんびりとした牧場は車から降りて見たかった。
クラのお店でいっぱい試食してお土産に買ったマウイ産のジャムやバター、
それとヤマピーお薦めの紅茶もとっても美味しかったです！（今度来たら、いっぱい買うぞ！）
車内で食べた、煮物も天ぷらも付いてるすっごいドカ弁も美味しかった！
展望台では悪天のおかげで？ブロッケンを見ることができたし、
雲の流れるクレーターは神秘的なダリの世界で、いつまでも見ていたかったです。
素敵な時間をありがとうございました。

I participated in this activity during my honeymoon. When I thought of Hawaii, I only considered ocean activities, but my husband, who usually doesn't express a desire to go anywhere, said he wanted to join. As a result, we decided to participate, and it turned out to be the most memorable tour among all the activities we did in Hawaii!

The emotion I felt while gazing up at countless stars, to the point where I forgot to breathe, is something I will never forget. (It was worth waiting without rushing!)

During our stay, the weather was not great with many clouds, and I almost gave up at one point, but thanks to Mr. Yamauchi, we were able to see a sky full of stars. The feeling of not giving up is truly important.

新婚旅行で参加しました。
ハワイといえば海！と思い、海のアクティビティばかり考えていた私に
普段はあまりここに行きたいなどと言わない主人が、
「参加したい」と言ったことで参加することにしました。
結果、ハワイで参加したアクティビティの中で
一番心に残る最高のツアーとなりました！

息をするのも忘れるぐらい、
時間が止まってしまったかのような
たくさんの星を見上げたときの感動、一生忘れないです。
（フライングせずに待った甲斐がありました。（笑））

滞在した数日、雲が多く天候が良いとはいえない状態で
一度は諦めかけたのですが、
山内さんのお陰で、満天の星を見ることができました。
諦めない気持ちは、本当に大切ですね。

I would not recommend driving it yourself, too much to see and the road is unbeliveable - one lane, hairpin corners, all usually on the side of a cliff!
Our driver was fairly new and forgot or didn't know alot of things we saw along the way.

This is my second time participating in the Star Tour, and it was incredibly fun again.

The coconut candy I bought at the shop we stopped at was delicious and received great reviews as a souvenir. Of course, the Krispy Kreme donuts and GURIGURI ice were also really tasty.

I would like to rely on you again next time. Thank you very much.

今回も最高に楽しかったです。

途中で寄るSHOPで買うココナツキャンディは
美味しくて御土産に大好評です。
もちろんクリスピードーナツもGURIGURIアイスも

I participated on January 4th. This is my second time being taken care of by Mr. Yamauchi.

The sunset at the summit never gets old, and this time it became another amazing memory. Just as Mr. Yamauchi said, "When you talk about shooting stars, they appear," we were able to see beautiful shooting stars, making it a very satisfying tour.

I have participated in various tours in Hawaii, but I believe Mr. Yamauchi's tour is so thoughtfully organized that anyone can enjoy it. I highly recommend it. I definitely want to be taken care of by him again next time.

山頂でのサンセットは見飽きることがなくて
今回も最高の思い出になりました。
「流れ星の話をしてると流れるんだよね~」という
山内さんのお話の通り、きれいな流れ星も
見られて大満足のツアーでした。

いままでハワイで色々なツアーに参加していますが
山内さんのツアーはきめ細かな気遣いでどなたでも
楽しめると思います。すごくお勧めです。
次回も絶対にお世話になりたいと思っています。

On November 5th, we participated as a newlywed couple. Originally, we were scheduled to join on the 4th, but there was unusually heavy rain. However, the person in charge contacted us in the morning and said it would depend on the weather the next day. We were anxious about the possibility of cancellation, but despite the heavy rain in Oahu, miraculously, Maui had clear skies, and we were able to participate on the 5th.

The tour had a total of three participants, including one other participant. On the way to Haleakalā, we were taken to have a snack and made some stops along the way, which eased our nerves as we headed up the mountain. The weather that day wasn't great, and we couldn't see the sunset.

As for the starry sky, we patiently waited while enjoying our meal for the clouds to clear, and finally, we were able to see a 360-degree view of a starry sky like we had never seen before! The stories shared were fascinating, and it was truly a heart-clearing experience. I felt it would be great for students and newlyweds.

I want to see it again. If you go to Maui, you absolutely must see it!!! Even now that we are back in Japan, we are both raving about it.

１１月５日に新婚夫婦で参加させていただきました。
本当は４日に参加の予定が、珍しくも大雨。でも担当の方から朝掛けに連絡があり、翌日の天気次第でという対応をいただきました。キャンセルになる不安もありましたが、天気予報も当日のオアフも大雨の中、奇跡的にマウイは快晴になり、５日に参加ができました。
ツアーは他の参加者さん１名との計３名での参加でした。
ハレアカラに上るまえに、道中、おやつを食べに連れて行ってくれたり、寄り道をしながら、緊張もほぐれて、山へ。
この日は雲行きがあまりよくなく、夕日は見れませんでした。
星空のほうはというと、雲が抜けてくれるのをじっくりとご飯を食べたりしてまっていて、遂に３６０度、見たことのない星空をみることができました！
お話も興味深いものがあり、本当に心が澄み渡るような体験でした。
学生の人や、新婚さんにおすすめだなぁと感じました。
また、見たいです。
マウイに行ったら、絶対に見たほうが良い！！！
と、日本に帰った今でも２人で絶賛しています。

The hike was WONDERFUL!!! The waterfalls were beautiful, and the pools we swam in were refreshing! Kristen Kelly was a very knowledgeble and fabulous guide. We'd do it again and again and again!

Our guide, Randy was fantastic. I was a little upset with your company that they did not portrait the excursion correctly. It was supposed to be an Eastern Maui excursion going 25 miles down the Road to Hana then to the Garden of Eden. This is not correct. That excursion had been replaced with a more difficult Western Maui location. We did not travel the Road to Hana, nor see the Garden of Eden. This was a more strenuous hike and climb. I have an injury to my shoulder and would have not chosen this adventure if it was represented correctly by your website and your staff that I spoke to. All in all, I would reccomend this escursion to others without existing injuries. Our guide did a great job and was very informative.

Our guide, Mike was wonderful - he was funny, knowledgable, and very helpful to everyone that needed it. We have 14 year old twins (boy and a girl) and I think they might have enjoyed the tour more than us, if that's possible. It was more than we expected and turned out to be the best tour we did in the 7 days on the islands. (we were on a cruise).

Really enjoyed visiting Hana. I heard the way there would be crazy, but it was pretty nice drive up there. The scenic views were the best !

This was the best activity, by far we experianced on our trip to Maui.
The staff was friendly, helpful and gracious. We learned alot just by listening to our guide. The Ranch was beautiful. The ride was even more than I expected. We have gone hors back riding in other places, but this trip was more memorable thean ever, for my daughter. The horse

This was my first time participating, and I was truly satisfied! The smoothness from application to participation was great, but the sunset from Haleakalā was beyond words... I was reminded that the Earth is round and that it is so beautiful.

This time, I participated with my 7-year-old child and my husband. My child seemed a bit tired and was in a bad mood, but later I heard that they secretly felt very moved and definitely want to go again! When we looked at the stars through the telescope, they were excited to see Saturn's rings, which sparked their interest in astronomy.

My husband, who usually doesn't praise people much, was surprisingly full of compliments for Yamapi during this trip. The homemade bento we had on the bus from Yamapi was also very warm and delicious!

Personally, I really liked the atmosphere of the shop we stopped by along the way; it had a great energy.

Haleakalā... It became a tour that I definitely want to experience again as it is such a sacred place.

今回初めての参加でしたが、
本当に大満足でした！！
申し込みから参加までのスムーズさももちろんですが、
ハレアカラからのサンセットは言葉で言い尽くせないほどの感動。。。
地球は丸いんだ。。地球はこんなにも美しいんだ。。。
と再確認しました。
今回は７歳の子どもとパパと３人での参加でしたが、
子どもはお疲れ気味だったのかちょっと機嫌が悪かったのですが
後で聞くと、また絶対行きたい！！！
と、密かにとても感動していたようでした。
天体望遠鏡で星を見たとき、土星の輪っか迄見えて天体に興味を盛ったようです。

普段は人をそんなに褒めることが無いパパですが、
今回の旅行ではヤマピーさんのことも大絶賛で以外でした。
バスの中で食べたヤマピーさんお手製のお弁当もとても
暖かく、美味しかったです♪

私的には途中で立ち寄ったクラのお店がとても雰囲気があって
とても好きなエネルギーの場所でした。

ハレアカラ。。。
とても神聖な場所で是非もう一度行きたいツアーになりました。

"I thought the evaluation of activities would be about half price with an additional discount, right?"

However, it turned out to be about 9500% better than I imagined, and I'm embarrassed that my expectations were so low. My three little ones returned home, each with their hearts full of emotion. It truly fulfills a parent's wish to have come to Maui.

With the inefficient 7mm lenses of our generation and the children's light reception systems that can absorb, analyze, and record any light, the experience must be different.

As a father from an old physics school, I tend to ignore phenomena that don't make theoretical sense. But in reality, I yearn for things and the universe that cannot be explained with words. This time, I was able to let my children experience a world that I wanted to convey but couldn't teach them.

Thanks to this opportunity, I will soon get an affordable telescope after returning home.

A few years from now, my children might come back with many questions. I would be grateful if they could learn from "Yamachan" again.

The participation certificate delivered to the hotel was promptly laminated and displayed on the children's desks.

P.S. The lunch was delicious! Unlike cost-focused boxed lunches, it was a menu that Japanese people could enjoy. My child, who usually dislikes vegetables, finished the simmered dish completely.

「アクティビティの評価って、半値八掛け二割引だろぅ？」

と思っていたのですが、想像よりも9500%ほど良くて、自分の想定が甘かったことが恥ずかしいです。
うちの3人のチビどもは、それぞれ感動を胸に秘めて帰りました。
頑張ってマウイ旅行に来た、親の冥利に尽きます。

我々の年代のような効率の落ちた7ミリのレンズと、どんな光でも吸収・分析・記録ができる子供たちの受光システムでは、きっと感動が違います。

父親の私は旧物理学校出身なので、理論的に筋が通っていない事象は無視します。
でも本当は、言葉で解明できない物や宇宙にあこがれます。
今回は、自分が子供たちに、伝えたくとも教えられなかった世界を体験させてもらえました。

きっかけを作っていただいたので、帰国後早々にお手軽な望遠鏡を入手します。

何年か後に、たくさんの質問を抱えて、子供たちがお邪魔するかもしれません。
また「やまちゃん」に勉強させてもらえれば幸いです。

ホテルに届けていただいた参加証明書は、さっそくラミネートして、子供達の机に飾りました。

お弁当が美味しかった~。
コスト重視の仕出し弁当とは違い、日本人が美味しくいただけるメニューでした。
普段野菜を嫌がる子供が、煮物を完食していました。

I looked at the moon through a telescope and received explanations about the stars... It was really a fun time.

I participated in the stargazing option at Mauna Kea on the Big Island in the past, but it ended in disappointment due to bad weather. This time, I had high expectations for the stargazing at Haleakalā. First of all, I am filled with gratitude for our guide, Mr. Yamauchi. On the way to Haleakalā, we made various stops, including a famous donut shop and an ice cream shop in Maui, and I was surprised by the exceptional service we received. The explanations were thorough and very kind. The sunset was blocked by huge clouds, and just when I thought we might fail at stargazing again, thanks to Mr. Yamauchi's decision, we were able to see a magnificent starry sky a little below the summit. It was the first time I saw the Milky Way so clearly, and while listening to Mr. Yamauchi's stories, my husband was moved to tears. There were six participants in total, and we all lay on the ground at the end, imprinting the starry sky in our memories. It was the best option that made me realize how small and trivial my worries really are, prompting me to think about how I want to live my life moving forward. Lastly, the summit is really cold, so please dress warmly when you participate. I wore a T-shirt with a fleece and jeans, and even though I borrowed a thicker jacket and gloves on the day, I still felt cold. I think wearing tights and bringing hand warmers would be perfect.

　私は過去にハワイ島のマウナケアスターゲイジングオプションに参加にましたが悪天候で残念な結果に終わり今回ハレアカラのスターゲイジングにかなり期待して参加しました。まずはガイドの山内さんに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。ハレアカラに向かうまでの道で色々寄り道をして頂きマウイで有名なドーナツ屋さん、アイスクリーム屋さんに寄っていただき期待以上のサービスがあったのでびっくり。説明も丁寧でとても親切。サンセットは巨大な雲に邪魔され、今回もまたスターゲイジング失敗かと諦めたころ山内さんの判断で山頂から少し下がったところで素晴らしい満天の星空を見ることが出来ました。初めてあんなはっきりした天の川を見て、山内さんのお話を聞きながら私の旦那は涙していました。全員で6名の参加で皆で最後は地面に寝転び満天の星空を目に焼き付けました。自分の悩み事が本当に小さくつまらないことだとこれからの自分の生き方を考えさせてくれる最高のオプションでした。最後に、山頂は本当に冷えていますので、十分厚着をしてご参加下さい。私はTシャツにフリースを着込み、ジーパンで参加し、当日厚めの上着と手袋を貸してもらったのに寒いと思ったのでタイツを履いたりカイロを持っていったら完璧かなと思いました。　

I joined the "Haleakalā Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour" that I randomly found during a trip to Maui, which I decided on after being invited by a friend. It felt like fate (laughs).

I was lounging by the pool all day with my lazy friend, saying things like, "It's nice to drive to Haleakalā, but it's a bit far, and I'm worried about the way back. But if someone is taking us, I want to see the stars!" However, it turned out to be an incredibly well-organized tour (laughs).

Our guide, Yamapee, truly loves Maui. But he speaks really fast—he has so much to share with us that he just keeps speeding up, and it's true (laughs).

Even though I had only been away from Japan for two days, I was so happy to have Japanese bento and thought, "Warm tea is the best!" I found myself smiling like an old lady, enjoying those little moments outside of the activities.

The sunset in Maui felt like it was saying, "Welcome!" It blew away the daily hustle and small stresses. When I was surrounded by stars in the pitch-black darkness of a silent world, my heart simply trembled. I can't put it into words. I couldn't find the right words to express it. For the first time in my life, I felt a warmth deep in my belly, and tears overflowed.

Hearing my friend, who usually struggles to express emotions, say "Amazing" made me inexplicably happy (laughs).

By the end of the tour, I found myself wanting to thank Yamapee and feeling a sense of respect for him. It's strange, isn't it? Because Maui is wonderful and great (laughs).

If I could have seen the sunset here at Haleakalā as a child, my life might have changed. Even as I grow older and become a grandmother, how wonderful it would be to see the stars here at Haleakalā. With all these thoughts in mind, I'm aiming to go back to Haleakalā again. No, I can do it. When that time comes, I will rely on Yamapee again. Thank you in advance!

たまたま見つけた「ハレアカラ山頂サンセット＆星空満喫ツアー」に参加。
これが運命でした（笑）

「ハレアカラにレンタカーで行くのはいいけど、ちょっと遠いし帰り道も心配だね
でも連れて行ってくれるんだったら、星もみたいしいいね~」なんて
面倒くさがりな友人と日がな一日をプールサイドで過していたのですが。
これがなんと、ふたをあければ至れり尽くせりのツアーでした（笑）

本当にマウイを愛しているんだな~と感じるYamapeeさんのガイド
でも実はとっても早口なんです~たくさんのことを私達につたえてくて
どんどん早口になるんです、本当ですよ（笑）

まだ２日しか日本を離れていないのに、日本食のお弁当が嬉しくって
やっぱりあったかいお茶よね~なんて、おばあさんみたいにニコニコになったり
そんなアクティビティ以外の所でその都度喜んでしまいました私たち。

マウイの夕日~夕空は「よくきたね」って言ってくれているようで
日々の慌しさ、小さなストレスを吹き飛ばしてくれましたね。
漆黒の闇、音の無い世界で星に囲まれたときにはただただ心が震えました。
言葉になりません。うまく伝える言葉も見つかれません。
私は今まで生きてきた中で、お腹のそこがじ~んと熱くなり
涙があふれたのは、初めてでした。

感動のわかりづらい一緒に行った友人がもらした「凄い」の一言
私はこの一言を聞けたこともなぜか凄く嬉しかったんです（笑）

そんなツアーが終わる頃には、なぜかYamapeeさんに感謝したくなる
なぜかYamapeeさんを尊敬してしまう自分がいて~
おかしいですよね、だってマウイがすばらしく＆マウイが偉大なのに（笑）

子供のときにここ、ハレアカラで夕日を見ることができたなら
人生が変わっていたかも。歳を重ねて、おばあちゃんになっても
ここ、ハレアカラに星を見ることができたら、どんなに素敵な人生だろう~
そんないろんなことを考えながら、日々またハレアカラに行く事を目標に
頑張っています。いえ、頑張れます。
そのときはまたYamapeeさんのお世話になります。

I had an amazing time on the tour, and it's no surprise that there are so many repeat visitors!

Previously, I participated in a stargazing tour on the Big Island of Hawaii, and since there was a high mountain and Subaru for astronomical observation in Japan, I honestly didn't have high expectations. (I'm sorry)

However, those expectations were wonderfully overturned. The starry sky and sunset were breathtaking, but what truly stood out was Mr. Yamauchi's passionate talks about stars and the universe. It made me realize how incredibly small I am in the vastness of billions of light-years.

Now that I'm back in Japan, I cherish the precious time I spent gazing at the stars, and it has become an unforgettable moment in my life. I received energy from Haleakalā, and I want to transform that energy into my own power next time!

I definitely want to participate in this stargazing experience again.

　私は以前ハワイ島での星空ツアーに参加して、
山の高さや、日本の天体観測のすばるがあったので
実はあまり期待していませんでした。（すみません）

　でもその期待を見事に覆されました。
満天の星空やサンセットもさることながら、

トークが素晴らしくて、何億光年の世界からすると
自分はすごくちっぽけだなぁと思いました。
　日本に帰ってきた今となっては時間を忘れて

This tour guided by Mr. Yamauchi has become a staple for me.

Two years ago, I happened to join this tour, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. That's why, whenever I have the time, I return to Haleakalā to heal my tired body and mind. This tour itself has become a therapy for me that surpasses any pleasant spa or massage.

The breathtaking scenery, craters, sunsets, and stars that you see on this tour are something I highly recommend everyone to experience. How wonderful it would be to share this emotion with others.

Moreover, I am continually amazed by Mr. Yamauchi's hospitality. Perhaps it is his desire to bring joy to us guests. He provides service from every angle, which is incredibly comforting.

二年前、たまたま参加したツアーでしたが、その感動ははるか予想を越えています。

I was thrilled to see the world of stars that is rarely visible in Japan, with real Saturn and nebulae clearly visible through the telescope. Additionally, there were unique touches throughout the tour that you wouldn't experience with major tour companies, making it a very satisfying experience. Thank you very much.

I'm excited to see the stars at Haleakalā, and I've become a repeat visitor to Maui.

The "star crystals," which are said to outnumber the grains of sand on Earth, are truly moving! Standing before stars that have traveled billions of light-years makes me realize that even though life is only about 100 years long, I need to live it more joyfully, and it gives me a lot of energy.

The energy and power are surely special because Haleakalā is a place where many spirits gather. The spirits that appear in photos seem to envelop my body in a mysterious phenomenon. I want everyone to experience this rather than just hear about it!

The grand stars, along with the lively talk and heartfelt messages from Mr. Yamauchi, always warm my heart. The impact of Mr. Yamauchi's words is not just because of the greatness of nature, but also because of his unique personality as a guide. His desire to bring joy to others is filled with thoughtful care and a spirit of service, making it a truly warm experience to gaze at the stars, creating the best moments.

I've never felt such a luxurious time before, and I want as many people as possible to experience this emotion. It will always be a special place for me!

ハレアカラで見る星が楽しみで、マウイのリピーターになっています。

地球上の砂よりも多いという“星の結晶”は本当に感動！！！
何億光年にもわたってやっと見ることができる星を前にすると“人生長くても100年”という自分の短い人生を、もっと楽しく生きなきゃと、元気をとてももらいます。

そのエネルギーとパワーは、精霊が多く集まるハレアカラだから特別なんですねーきっと。本当に写真に写る精霊は、自分の体を覆うように見える不思議な現象です。
これは言葉で伝えるより、まず体感して欲しいです！！

壮大な星も、楽しく教えてくれる山内さんの軽快なトークと心にしみるメッセージで、毎回胸が熱くなります。
山内さんの言葉が胸を打つのは、大自然の素晴らしさがある以上に、やっぱり山内さんのガイドだからこその人柄ですね。
人に喜んでもらいたいという山内さんの思いが、細やかな心遣いとサービス精神にあふれていて、とってもあったかい気持ちになる中で星を見上げるので、最高の瞬間になる気がします。

本当にこんな贅沢な時間を感じたのは初めてで、一人でも多くの人にこの感動を体験して欲しいです。これからも私にとって特別な場所です！！

I participated in this tour with my mother because we wanted to see a beautiful sunset. The sunset at Haleakalā was even more wonderful than we expected, and we were enchanted by the pink-hued sea of clouds, taking lots of photos together.

As if that wasn't enough, the main event was stargazing! I was moved by the starry sky and felt the mysteries of the universe when looking through the telescope at the beautiful stars and planets. It might have been the most touching experience of my life! Even if you don't know much about stars, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, explains everything in a fun and engaging way with his extensive knowledge, making it truly enjoyable. He's quite the star enthusiast (laughs).

Moreover, from stories about stars to our everyday events, Mr. Yamauchi's heartwarming tales really touched me and made me feel warm inside. It can be cold at the summit, but they lend you jackets, gloves, and blankets, so it's all good. It's also nice that they serve warm tea at just the right time.

Overall, it's a fun and moving tour, and I hope as many people as possible get to experience the beautiful sunset, the starry sky, and Mr. Yamauchi's kindness. I will definitely go again! Thank you for the wonderful experience, Mr. Yamauchi.

美しいサンセットが見たくて、このツアーに母と二人で参加しました。
ハレアカラで見る夕焼けは期待以上にすばらしく、ピンク色に染まる雲海に
うっとりし、母と一緒にはしゃいでいっぱい写真を撮ってしまいました。
これだけでも大満足なのに、メインはスターゲイジングだったんですね~。
満天の星空に感動し、望遠鏡で見せてもらう美しい星たちや惑星には
宇宙の神秘を感じます。あんなに感動したのは生まれて初めてかも！
星のことは良く知らなくてもガイドの山内さんが幅広い知識で軽快に楽しく
説明してくれるのでほんとに楽しめます。かなりの星オタクですね（笑）
また、星の話から私たちの身近な出来事まで、山内さんの心温まるお話に
またまた心を打たれ、優しい気持になれますよ。山頂は寒いですが、
ジャケットと手袋と毛布を貸してくれるので大丈夫です。
また、ほどよいタイミングで暖かいお茶を配ってくれたりするのも嬉しいですね。
とにかく楽しくて感動できるツアーなので、美しい夕焼けと満天の星空と、
山内さんの優しさを、一人でも多くの人に味わって欲しいなあ。
