We participated as a family. Although I only understood a little English, the important points were explained slowly and clearly, allowing us to experience it without any anxiety. It was enjoyable and healing to see and interact with the various personalities of the horses, and the scenery was also wonderful.

英語が少ししかわからなかったのですが大切なポイントはゆっくり丁寧にお話ししてもらえ不安なく体験できました。
色々な性格の馬が…それを見るのも接することができるのも楽しく癒された時間で景色も素晴らしかったです。

When we arrived at the meeting place, a guide vehicle came to pick us up, and we followed that vehicle to the ranch. Since there were about 12 of us this time, it took a little time for everyone to get on the horses, but the horses were generally calm, even though some were a bit more spirited. Climbing up and down the relatively steep slopes required maintaining core stability, which might be important. When we rode on Oahu, there was a couple who couldn't maintain their position and had to be taken off their horse, but this time there was no one like that. I was moved by the beautiful ocean view from the mountain. It was a great activity to feel connected to nature.

集合場所まで行くと案内の車が来て、その車に付いて牧場まで行きました。今回は12名くらいだったので皆んなが馬に乗るまでに少し時間がかかりましたが馬はちょっと自由な子もいましたが大人しいので問題なかったです。それなりに急な斜面を登り降りするので体幹の維持ができるのは大事かもしれません。オワフ島で乗った時は体勢が維持できずに馬から降ろされてしまった夫婦がいましたが今回はそんな人はいなかったです。山から見下ろす綺麗な海に感動しました。自然を感じるにはとても良いアクティビティでした。

It was a hiking tour that I decided to join at the last minute, but the guide was a kind person. Since we don't have much English proficiency, we listened to the explanations about the plants based on the atmosphere, but along the way, we got to eat starfruit, took a break at a spot where we could see behind the waterfall, and enjoyed splashing around in the water. At another waterfall, we were able to jump in, and we had a relaxing time enjoying nature while hiking. This time, I went in sneakers, so it was a bit difficult to play at the waterfall, but I think if you bring shoes for playing in the water, you can enjoy yourself without worrying.

急遽参加を決めたハイキングツアーでしたがガイドの方が優しい人でした。私達に英語力があまりないので植物の説明などは雰囲気で聞いてましたが途中スターフルーツを食べさせてもらったり、滝を裏側がわから見れるところで休憩、水浴びしたり、もう1箇所の滝壺では飛び込みができたりゆったり自然をかんじなからハイキングを楽しめました。今回はスニーカーで行ってしまったので滝で遊びずらかったので沢遊びようの靴を持って行くと気にせず遊べると思います。

During the shuttle ride, Yamapi explained Haleakalā in both Japanese and English, providing various tips for the drive. Along the way, he helped us purchase donuts and poke bowls at a supermarket as we headed to the summit. Perhaps because it was a day when the moon didn't interfere, the road was congested, so we took photos with the Haleakalā sign with the people we were with. We managed to catch the sunset and captured a beautifully colored sky. The poke bowl we had at the summit was very delicious, and I can understand why Yamapi recommended it. The Krispy Kreme donuts also tasted better than those in Japan. The starry sky was truly moving, as he explained the constellations clearly and showed us the colors of the stars through a telescope. He even taught us how to take photos with an iPhone, allowing us to capture the beautiful Milky Way with our own phones. I highly recommend seeing the starry sky with your own eyes.

送迎の車ではやまぴーさんが日本語と英語でハレアカラの説明や運転のアドバイスなど色々お話をしてくれました。途中ドーナツとスーパーでポケ丼を購入する手伝いをしてくれて山頂へ向かいました。今回は月が邪魔しない日だったからか道が渋滞していたのでハレアカラの看板での写真撮影は一緒に行った人同士で撮影しました。なんとか日没に間に合ってとても綺麗な日の入りの空が撮影できました。山頂で食べたポケ丼はとても美味しかったです。やまぴーさんがお勧めするのも頷けます。クリスピークリームドーナツも日本で食べるより美味しく感じました。星空は星座をわかりやすく説明してくれたり、望遠鏡を使って星の色を見せてくれたりとても感動しました。iPhoneでの撮影の仕方も教えてもらえるので自分の携帯でも綺麗な天の川が撮影できました。満天の星空は是非自分の目で見てほしいです。

Since it was my first time, I changed from a solo ride to riding with two people, but I think I could have done the solo ride even as a woman. This time, after riding horses in the morning, I received an explanation and was able to go straight to the ATV ride. The explanation was clear, using a translation app, so I was able to enjoy it without any anxiety. Along the way, they took pictures at scenic spots, let me eat some nuts, and recommended great places, so I had a wonderful guide.

初めてだったので、ソロライドから2人で乗るのに変更してもらったけど、女性でもソロライドでできたかなぁと思います。
今回は朝から乗馬をやった後、説明を受けてそのままATVをやらせてもらえました。説明も翻訳アプリを使ってわかりやすく説明してくれたので、不安なく楽しめました。
途中景色の良いところで写真を撮ってくれたり、木の実を食べさせてもらえたりお勧めの場所を教えてくれたりとても良い方にガイドしてもらえました。

My son and I had a great time on Aloha blue charters in Maui! This was our first trip ona charter and it was a great trip. The captain Freddy and his fishing experts: Johanna and Duke were knowledgeable and helped us through the whole process.

Yoshi was so sweet and kind. He provided snacks, water, cold weather gear, chairs, hot chocolate. The ride felt safe. He knew all the spots to be away from crowds and with perfect views. Super knowledgeable to get fabulous pictures. Highly recommend.

Our horseback ride was amazing from start to finish! The staff at the ranch were friendly and helpful and the farm itself had many other animals to see and pet in addition to the beautiful horses. The ride was through several different areas and types of terrain and the views were incredible! Highly recommend!

Out of the two hour activity, about 15 mins is all you'll off road. You'll be told you're going to be given time to go as fast as you want and that only lasts about 45 seconds. Only two stops for views.

Great experience for stargazing and watching the Milky Way. Yoshi san is a great guide. He had also kept some light snacks and refreshments for the trip.
The only con, the drive to the top and back down is a little taxing.

Sarah was great leader. Made all feel comfortable. Great scenery and liked the history of the mountain, when we first stopped. The 2nd stop on a cliff overlooking the water was great.
Enjoyed the animals at the end.
Can’t wait to come back next year for horse back riding.

Yoshi was wonderful! We can’t say enough about his hospitality, thoughtfulness, and knowledge. Not only did he take great care in making it a wonderful experience, he made sure we had outstanding pictures of our family in the best spots to remember it. We felt very safe driving in Haleakala knowing he had 20 years of experience behind him and this trip has easily taken the number one spot of our family adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the stars and constellations as well as the geography of the area. A day and evening well spent!

I participated because it was led by a Japanese guide. The guide was knowledgeable and fun to talk to, and I'm really glad I joined! I was a bit worried about altitude sickness since we were going to a high elevation, but it was not a problem at all since we took breaks along the way. Thank you for the amazing experience!!

Despite the unfortunate weather making both the sunset and stargazing seem hopeless, our guide, Yamapi, did not give up and skillfully led us to points of interest, allowing us to witness a wonderful sight. I was truly impressed by his determination!

あいにくの天候でサンセットも星空も絶望的で他社ツアーが下山する中、ガイドのやまぴーさんだけが諦めておらずポイントを紡いでご案内頂き素晴らしい光景を目にすることができました。諦めない姿勢に感嘆です！

Celebrated birthday on this thrilling trail with stunning views, cant complain!!

Chilly at the top, so make sure to dress warmly! Besides that the views are to die for!

Well taken care of horses which we very much appreciated, with the ride having stunning coastal views!

Lots and I mean lots to do and see on this road! We had got so many wonderful scenes throughout.

We were picked up at 3 PM for Haleakalā. Despite the temperature being 29°C, we gathered with warm clothing. The car set off towards Haleakalā, taking breaks for altitude acclimatization. At 1000 meters, we stopped at a supermarket to prepare dinner. At 2000 meters, we took a bathroom break and captured photos of avocado trees.

We reached the 3000-meter mark, but some participants felt the air was thin. At 6 PM, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, treated us to various poke ingredients and rice, which we enjoyed as poke bowls in the car. Once it got dark, we had a stargazing session. Despite bringing a down coat, it was still cold, and I was surprised that my hands became numb.

We returned to the hotel around 10:30 PM, and I am grateful to Mr. Yamauchi for being talented, attentive, and smooth in conversation, keeping tourists, including children, engaged for over half a day.

ハレアカラへは15時のお迎えだった。
気温29℃なのに防寒着を持っての集合だった。
さっそくハレアカラを目差して車は出発した。高地順応のために休憩を取りながらのハレアカラ行である。
1000mではスーパーマーケットに立ち寄り夕食の用意をした。
2000mではトイレタイムでアボカドのなっている木を写真に収めた
いいよ3000mの地点に到達したが空気を薄いと感じていた参加者もいた。
18時になって添乗員ヤマウチさんが薦めてくれた種々のポキの具材とご飯をポキ丼にして車内でいただいた。
暗くなったところで天体観察である。寒さの中、星や星座の説明を聞きながら天体観察させてもらった。ダウンコートを持って行ったのにも関わらず寒かった。手が悴んで感覚がなくなってきたのには驚いた。
ホテルへ帰ってきたのは22時半ころであったが、それにしても添乗員ヤマウチさんは多才で気が利いて、話が滑らかで子供を含めた観光客を半日以上もずっと飽きさせないで案内してくれたことには感謝している。

It was truly a dream-like day (╹◡╹). It was my first time on Maui, and I received a lot of information and stories not just about Maui but other topics as well. Dining while watching the sunset from the summit was a luxurious experience that only those who have done it can appreciate. The music that played in each situation was a stylish touch typical of Yamapi, and I was so moved by the song that played while gazing at the starry sky that I ended up in tears (^◇^;). The hospitality was incredible. I gained the courage to live my life authentically. If you go to Maui, I absolutely recommend this tour. I hope to visit again in a different season. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

マウイ島は初めてだったのですが、いろいろな情報を教えて下さったり、マウイ島以外のお話なんかもたくさんしてくださいました。
また山頂では、沈んでいく夕日を見ながらの食事は、経験した者にしか味わえない贅沢な気分でした。
シチュエーション毎に流れる音楽の演出はヤマピーさんらしく粋なはからいに脱帽です。
特に星空を眺めている時に流れた曲は、感動して泣いちゃいました(^◇^;)
おもてなしが半端ないです。
これからの人生を自分らしく生きる勇気をいただきました♡
マウイ島に行かれたら、ぜーーーったいオススメのツアーですよ。

I previously participated in a stargazing and sunrise tour on the Big Island, and this sunset and stargazing tour was also amazing. Additionally, Mr. Yamauchi's guidance was excellent, and I'm really glad I joined. I would like to recommend it to my daughter and her husband as well.

以前ハワイ島で星空とサンライズのツアーに参加したことがありますが、今回のサンセットと星空のツアーも最高でした。また、山内さんのガイドも最高で、本当に参加して良かったです。娘夫婦にも薦めたいと思います。

Make sure to bundle like they say, it was very chilly when the sun quickly crept down!

With one family constantly running late, it drove the guide so mad that he stopped talking mid tour and gave us nothing.. it was sad

The guide had so many amazing stories throughout the trip! A wonderful experience exploring this side of Maui.

Although the clouds and full moon made it difficult to see a beautiful sunset and a starry sky, Yamapi's thoughtfulness and conversation were excellent. I definitely want to try again.

Yoshi was absolutely amazing! From the prompt pick up, the hospitality (tea, snacks) and the amazing knowledge, this is a tour I will always remember. Words can’t express how awesome being at that height and seeing the stars as you stand above the clouds was. Yoshi knew and shared so much and even had coats and gloves for us all as it does get cold at that height. He even showed us how to adjust the settings on our phones to timelapse and take great pictures. 1000% recommend Yoshi and this tour if you want to experience something breathtaking.

This was the second stargazing tour guided by Yamapi in 2023. It seems that visitors to Maui have returned after the Lahaina wildfire in August 2023, as the area near the summit was crowded, but we were able to fully enjoy the great nature and the starry sky in a fantastic location. We also enjoyed donuts and coffee, and I was once again impressed by the kind explanations and support from Mr. Yamauchi, a veteran of the stargazing tour. This is an highly recommended optional tour for anyone traveling to Maui.

頂上付近は混雑してましたが、絶好のエリアで大自然と星空を満喫できました。ドーナツやコーヒーなども頂いて星空ツアーベテランの山内さんの親切な説明と対応に今回も感服いたしました。マウイ島旅行では超おすすめのオプショナルツアーです。
