Wonderful Ride

My wife had never risen a helicopter before so opted to pay for the upgrade to ensure that she was able to sit up front.
The day was great even though it was cloudy in the mountain when left the heliport. The mountain was clear when we arrived. The pilot provided a great narration during the trip.
Would do it again!!

Great tour and great people!

Our helicopter tour was amazing. It was too cloudy to do our original tour so the pilot chose an alternative which was amazing. He was very laid back and friendly. Out submarine tour was also wonderful. The staff was very friendly and our guide was very funny.

There be amazing sights beneath the waves. What a wonderful experience for someone with bad claustrophobia (spelling it is the toughest part). You heard right you land lubbers, this terrific tour is truly for everyone. The crews are pleasant and very accommodating. Every part of the trip is safety first, and the underwater views are, well take a look. Enough said!

  • Thar she blows.

  • Keeps things shipshape topside.

  • A couple of the swabbies that make the adventure fun.

  • Room for all?

  • For real???

  • Now that's what I'm talking about.

  • Avast. Treasure onboard or just in the views?

  • Everyone needs their rest.

We had a great time on this adventure. It is suitable for all ages. It was great seeing what was on the ocean floor. The staff were very friendly. The snack provided was great. I would recommend this to everyone

Saw some very interesting sea life; the "ocean piranhas" were crazy. Wished we could have seen the sea turtles up close.

Definite Must For Anyone Going to Maui!!

I went on this ride several years ago and it was even better than I remembered. We got to see a sunken ship. We saw several different kinds of fish as well as a few sharks. We had a really good time. You can tell that the people who do this for a living really love their jobs! If you are going to Maui and do nothing else this is the one thing you ABSOLUTELY must take part in!

Fun Time

I can't physically snorkel so this was the next best thing. We saw a shark immediately--pretty cool. The staff was wonderful. The divers brought sea life to the windows for all to view. We wish we could have seen more diversity, but no one can control mother nature. We had fun and enjoyed the sea life we did see.

We had a great experience doing both the helicopter & sub tours! The guys on the sub were hilarious & very informative. My boys ages 9 & 7 loved it! We saw lots of fish & a huge spotted ray! The helicopter ride is a must for anyone coming to Maui. We saw the most beautiful waterfalls plus the 7 sacred pools & the crater. The pilot was funny & pointed out everything to us! My only suggestion is to take Dramamine before the helicopter if you usually are prone to motion sickness!

This was great for our family trip to Maui with my 2-year-old daughter. Obviously bringing her restricted us to do only a selected activities, but we're glad that we got to do this. She loved it! Highly recommended to those families with small children!

Not our favorite activity. Not much to see underwater, not like the aquarium experience we had hoped for. The staff were fabulous but still felt like a waste of time. Even our children, ages 11 and 9, were bored.

The combination of these tours is a lot of fun! We went on the Helicopter ride first and then over to the west side for the submarine. I would recommend going to the west side of the island first! If you try to drive out of there around 5pm the traffic is awful.

The helicopter tour of the island is a MUST for any first timer to the island. There are so many beautiful sights! Maybe even plan this early during your trip as it could determine places you will want to go see.

Oh and skip any big meals before either of these events!

Kids loved it

This was a very family-oriented activity. Of course, the kids loved the submarine. Being from Iowa, we don't get to see much marine life, so it was exciting to see them underwater in the wild. We will do this again when we come back to Maui someday. Mahalo!

Lot's of fun.

The submarine ride was fun. Having a reef aquarium at home, it was a joy seeing how NATURE does a reef.

The Helicopter part of this trip was top notch. The ground staff was excellent and funny. The Pilot, Cliff had a good knowledge of the area and explained to us what we were seeing as well as some Hawaiian Mythology when flying over the volcano.
