Great experience with kids

We had a great time doing this. The guys were super friendly and relaxed and nice. My brother and I had some experience with scuba, but our kids--ages 16, 13 and 11--did not. It was a quick orientation and we were in the water. We walked right in off the beach. The kids did great. My son had a little trouble being comfortable breathing through a regulator, but still enjoyed it. He just stayed up closer to the surface. The other two had no difficulty with it at all. I was actually surprised at all the different fish we saw. It's not like you're swimming with hundreds of fish all around you, but that's just not available in an outing like this. But it was a great experience that all of us enjoyed and it didn't have to be an all-day commitment.

Wailua River Kayak, Rainforest Hike & Waterfall Swim Adventure with Lunch

The whole experience was fantastic! Adam, our guide, was super friendly and great to talk to. He was very knowledgeable.
For those planning this, the kayak trip was a little work so be prepared for that. My husband and I thought we were in great shape but we struggled a bit. It’s 2.5 miles of fast, no break, paddling. The hike was super fun. Again, be prepared to work a little. You will hike in ankle deep mud in places. It’s slippery so the walking stick (supplied) was a big help. We saw a
lot of people struggle.
The waterfall was breathtaking. Eating lunch there was surreal. Definitely worth doing!

Smith's Kauai Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Live Entertainment
A warm and welcoming crew

This was our first time visiting the lovely Fern Grotto, and we had a wonderful time. The crew were so sweet, especially with our daughter who got into one of the local plants that made her cry and tongue swell. They performed hula and sang beautifully, playing to the children on board. We highly recommend this short river boat ride for families with young kids.

it was a long day with many stops. some were worth the stop and some were not. if the tour drove straight to the canyon and then to the river, then It may have been worth the cost.

皆さん書いていた通り、解説が英語なので、わかればもっと楽しめたのかと思います。
いい体験ではありましたが、金額が高い。
以前テレビで見たヘリコプターからの映像が素晴らしかったので、想像していた通りかそれ以下だと思ってしまいました。
一回体験したらもういいかな。
ドアなしのヘリコプターに乗れば迫力あったのかも、と今は思っています。

Best luau in all of Hawaii

I have been to this luau at least 6 times...every time we come to Kauai! I have been to a number of others, but this one is positively the best! The gardens are so beautiful. The food is excellent. The Smith family really make you feel like ohana! The show is excellent, with dances from the many cultures that make up the Hawaiian people. The fire knife dance is really mesmerizing! This is truly a tropical paradise. Aloha!

夫婦二人で参加させてもらいました。英語が分からず他に日本からの参加者も居ないようで不安でしたが、スタッフの方海外から参加された方が、とても気さくに優しく接してくれて楽しく過ごせました、飲み物も美味しく、雄大なナパリ・コーストの風景に圧倒されました！夕日も綺麗で、本当に楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。ただ残念だったのは、イルカとクジラに会いたかったなという事です。機会があればまた参加したいです！✌️

カウアイ島に10日間の滞在の3日目に参加させてもらいましたが、
初めてカウアイ島に行く人はぜひ参加すべき！
ほぼ一日遊べてクタクタになりますが、
充実感と思い出作り、インスタ映えにも最適！
・感想 / 気に入ったところ
ーとにかく楽しかった。カウアイ島に初めて行く人は絶対に行くべき！
夫婦で大はしゃぎでした。
ー洞窟のほぼ入り口まで行き停まってくれるので、写真もゆっくり撮れます
し、クルーの方が積極的に撮ってくれます。僕らの時は、洞窟、イルカ、断
崖絶壁、サンセットタイムの4回、10-15分ほど停泊して撮影できました。
ーあの圧巻の断崖絶壁を観れたのは最高でした。そして、運よく10-20頭のイルカの群れにも囲まれたのも最高でした。
・アドバイス
ークルーザーの先端に座らせてもらいましょう。めちゃ楽しいです。
ーそして、とにかくズブ濡れになります！ので、上下含めて濡れてもよい格好にした方がいいです。顔もビシャビシャになるので、メイクにも気をつけて。濡れても染みないリュックにタオルを入れていった方がいいです。
ー焼けたくない人は、クルーザーの中にずっと入っているか、長袖マストの帽子も紐付きをオススメ。サングラスは全員マストでしょう。
ーツアーはフル英語で何を言ってるか分からないですが、特段必要な会話はジェスチャーで通じるのでご安心を。
ー朝9時くらい？に出発の戻りが18時か19時頃でした。
帰ってきたらお店回りもほぼ閉まっていて、薄暗かったです。
車の停車場所はお忘れなく。

カウアイにきてナパリコーストを体験せずに帰るわけにはいかないと
夫婦で参加。
シュノーケリングポイントには大いに不満が残るがまあ我慢。
朝食もいけるし、昼食に自分でつくるオリジナルサンドイッチは抜群にうまい。アルコールも飲み放題。最高の景色とイルカとカメとトビウオのおもてなしに満足でした。

This was our groups favorite activity. The scenery was breathtaking! Our driver was ver knowledgable and so good to make sure we each got a good look at everything. The ride was nice and smooth. Highly recommend this activity!!

Dustin did a great job interacting with all of us and we were a very diverse group (age, gender and skill level)!
He was very knowledgeable of Hawaiian culture. We also learned a lot about the plants and animals of the area. Beware of the wild boar. ;-)
The hike was muddy but not too difficult. The waterfall was spectacular and much colder than expected.
Would definitely do this again! The morning is cooler and may be drier than the afternoon.

日本には絶対ない雄大な景色を堪能しました。

レンタカーで集合場所（集合時間15時）に向かったのですが、港に向かって右側に事務所がある建物、その先すぐに広い駐車場があるので、そこに駐車してOK。事務所で画面に表示された当日の健康状態確認事項（すべて英語表記です）にチェックを入れて受付完了。15時10分船長さんが現れ、１組ずつ名前が呼ばれて全員集合を確認し、注意事項を英語で説明して港へ。私達以外に、もう1組日本人家族が参加していましたが、他の12,3組程度の方はすべて外国の方でした。乗船前に靴を脱いで裸足になり、靴置き場に預けます。（自分で持って乗る人もいました。）
15時30分出航。スタッフは船長さんを含めて3名（男性2名・女性1名）です。最初は曇っていて、海の遠方では、雨が降っているのが見えて、天気がどうなるか心配しましたが、ナパリコーストに向かう途中でどんどん晴れてきました。行きに飲み物と軽食（チーズやクラッカー等）を頂きながらクルーズを楽しみ、1時間ほど進むといよいよ断崖絶壁の山が見えてきます。
そこからは、日本にはない絶景をこれでもか！というくらい楽しめます。約1時間ほどでナパリコーストの端に到着（途中ポイント・ポイントで船の速度を落として景色を堪能します）してUターン。戻る途中、絶壁が削れていて少し洞窟みたいなっている所に船を慎重に入れて楽しみます。また、ウミガメがたくさん居る所を案内してくれて、2匹水面に現れて見ることができました。18時頃、夕食を食べました。（ご飯、おかず、結構種類がありました。）また、イルカにも会えて、水面から飛び上がり、くるくる回転して歓迎してくれました。
いよいよ19時ちょっと過ぎに、海面に夕日が沈む瞬間を、皆でカウントダウンして、日没の瞬間に拍手！！（希望者にはシャンペンで乾杯！）その後、空が夕焼けから夜に向かう色の変化に感動し、19時30分、無事港に到着し解散となりました。
船長さんは運転しながら、マイクで所々説明をしてくれ、残りの2名のスタッフは、フレンドリーに話しかけてくれたり、カメラのシャッターを押してくれたり、とても親切でした。私は帰りに車を運転しなければならなかったので、アルコールは飲めませんでしたが、他の方はまさに「飲み放題！」
最高のひと時でした。

- Check in was 8am but the boat and crew was ready at 08:20 am. Next time it will be great, when they inform the guests. Because all get nervous, if the crew isnt here or by an other adress...
- But at all it was very nice ond the crew was soooo friendly

First off let me say our tour guide Rosario was fantastic!!! He gave us such a great history lesson and for us that's everything because we love history. He also has a great sense of humor. The places we got to see were pretty great as well. Waimea Canyon is gorgeous and you must see in person as photos do not do it justice. All the little stops along the way were fun. We discovered Poipu on this trip and we love it there. We will stay there next time we are on Kauai. All in all a great time, highly recommend!!!

JT did a great job of flying and narrating the tour at the same time.
Our favorite thing was the Nā Pali Coast .
I highly recommend this amazing adventure!

It was a nice family outing. It was relaxing boat tour. One way we had musicians, singer and dancer. In the other direction there was an interesting commentary. Got off the boat to see Fern Grotto. Good price vs quality!

Easy kayaking. The hike is easy but take your time not to fall. Our guide was helpful at crossing all more challenging obatacles. Beautiful falls and swimming area. Nice lunch.

The Smith's family is awesome and entertaining. Wear mosquito repellent when going, just a taught. They sing and entertain as you travel up the fern grotto and had us all doing the hoki pokie. We will be doing their luau too so we'll let you know how it goes!

Overall I had fun. The trip is basically kayak for 2 miles, hike for 1 mile, visit a 100' water fall, and then hike back for 1 mile and then kayak for 2 miles. Since I like physical activity, this trip worked well for me.
Kayaking requires some physical work, and since there are 2 people per kayak, at last one should be in good physical shape.
Hiking was through lots of mud. You will cross streams, ankle deep mud, and will get dirty. Best to wear sandals since sneakers will be ruined. My youngest son loved this part (getting dirty is always fun).
