Great visit from start to finish. Once in a lifetime views and professional tour guides. We took 915am tour and it was just after a light rain had stopped, so there was minimal dust. As we were returning to starting point, it was beginning to get warm and the dirt roads beginning to get dusty. I understand that on dry days the roads get pretty dusty and in turn you get fairly dirty, so bring or prepare to buy in the gift shop a clean shirt at least if you plan on going elsewhere afterwards or just want to change out of a dirty sweaty shirt for the ride home.

The only negative was, that although I seen them wiping down the helmets, the insides are still dirty. So if your any kind of germ-a-phobe; you would want to bring a baseball cap or some type of thin head-cover to put on first to go on under your helmet. Helmets are for top of head, as luckily they don’t cover your ears.
On the other hand if your “normal”, be wild and free and just wear the helmet and carry on.

Roads are dirt as you would imagine, so be prepared for a somewhat, but not extremely bumpy ride.

Stops are made for picture taking and guides give some insight as to the history and lore of the areas where you stop to take pics and/or switch drivers. Have fun. Definitely worth the money for all ages.

The tour included a variety of activities such as farm visits, jungle exploration, and movie location tours. The farm visits had very beautiful scenery. The jungle exploration was thrilling with the ups and downs of the vehicle. I think watching the movies beforehand would make the movie location tour even more moving. The lunch was also delicious. However, the disappointing point was that there was no Japanese guide at all.

It was my first time riding, but the horse was smart, so there were no difficult maneuvers required, and I didn't have any problems. I don't speak much English, but the instructor kept checking in to see if I was okay. They explained about the filming locations and history, so I think it would have been even more enjoyable if I understood English better. I brought a body bag, but I could have used it like a waist pouch while riding. I was able to put my smartphone and water in the provided bag.

With the shuttle service, there was about two hours of free time before and after, but I didn't feel bored as I was having lunch and looking at souvenirs. I was moved by the magnificent nature and the sea. I'm really glad my first riding experience was at Kualoa Ranch! I highly recommend this activity.

Seule petit bémol le bus n’était pas très confortable et j’ai quelques petites douleurs au dos. J’ai aussi acheté la photo bien que j’ai trouvé le prix exorbitant. The basic English support was available, but there was also a Japanese explanation video for horseback riding, which I watched, so even though it was my first time riding, I quickly understood how to ride.
You wear a helmet while riding. You can leave your luggage in a locker and bring valuables and drinks with you (they lend you a pouch).
I was very satisfied with the experience as I could enjoy the scenery of both mountains and the sea in the great outdoors. The horses were also very well-behaved. It was a bit disappointing that the instructor's explanations about the location were often too far away to hear, but they took several photos for me and sent them to my smartphone. For lunch, I had fish and chips at the café inside Kualoa. It was delicious. I had some concerns after reading reviews that mentioned having too much free time, but I ended up not having enough time as I was busy looking at souvenirs.

A super fun adventure!

It was myself and my 17 and 16 year old sons. The tour guides on the trail at the ranch were really nice and informative. So cool to ride through the ranch, up the mountain and overlook the water. Beauty every where you looked. Also, the scenes were movies were filmed was fun to see.
You do get dirty - it was very dry when we went so lots of dust. If it’s wet I image you’re covered in mud. They give you goggles and buffs to cover your nose and mouth. You need them! Another reviewer suggested to bring wipes to wash your face afterwards- solid advice. We did that to get some of the dirt off our faces. Plenty more came off in the shower. Haha
The bus to/ from was comfortable and clean. Only not so great thing I can say is there was a very long wait time from when we arrived at the ranch until our scheduled tour started. Had I known that I maybe would have rented a car and drove up on our own. Price would have been Equivalent, and plenty of other places to stop in along the way. All in all it was a great adventure and I definitely recommend it!

This was so much fun!!! You definitely get super dirty but it is so worth it! You get to see so much of the ranch and the different valleys! We had Jessica as one of our tour guides and she was awesome! She did a lot of fun things with the group to make the experience more fun! If you love Jurassic World, you will love being able to see some cool things from the movie. Definitely a fantastic experience!

It's a two-hour ride through the fields and mountains of Kualoa.

For safety, you will wear a helmet, goggles, and a take-home Kualoa-patterned cloth mask. This is because you'll be kicking up sand and dust for two hours. Our family of four shared one vehicle. The driver must have a valid driver's license. If there is no licensed driver, a Kualoa instructor will drive for you.

There are breaks at key points where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, take photos, and explore movie set locations—it's a packed two hours. After the activity, when you look in the mirror, you'll be covered in dust, and you'll end up laughing as you look at each other. That's the vibe.

Since it's hot, please bring plenty of water.

Really nice activity for those that want to move their legs a bit. These bikes have a motor so for anyone that thinks is not as fit, you can definitely do it! Great vibe from the crew that works at kualoa ranch and they made the ride really fun! Also they are super available to take pictures for you and get in on the fun. Also transportation was on time and everything was organized.

I participated in a mountain bike tour for the first time. Since it was an electric assist bike, it was easy to go uphill. Even a fifth grader enjoyed it. We chose an easy course, and there were eight participants in the tour, with one guide explaining everything in English. The child didn't understand any English, but it was still fun just to explore that miraculous place. We didn't sweat excessively and could feel the refreshing breeze all over our bodies. At the filming location of Jurassic Park, they took photos and videos of each group pretending to be the cast. Everyone got into character, and we shared laughs over each other's performances, spending a wonderful time together.

My first visit to Kualoa Ranch.
I actually wanted to do the Raptor Tour, but the morning tour was fully booked, so I decided on the E Mountain Bike Tour.

I’m 152 cm tall, and I was worried about being able to ride a mountain bike, but I was able to borrow a kids' bike (there happened to be one available). However, since the wheels were small, it was quite challenging to keep up.

As for the content, we were able to visit several movie filming locations, and it felt really nice to experience the wind while biking.

There were 8 people in our team, and the staff were cheerful. They explained various things, so I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had understood what they were saying. I would like to try the Japanese Raptor Tour next time!

Since it was August, I was worried about insect bites, but there were hardly any bugs, and I didn’t get bitten. Also, since we rode for two hours, you can get sunburned! There were quite a few people participating in long sleeves. I recommend sun protection!
The tour was from 9:30 to 11:30. The bus departed at 1 PM, so after the tour, I looked around the souvenir shop and had a light lunch. I had read that the food wasn’t very good, but that wasn’t the case! If I could wish for something, it would have been nice to have a beer.

内容としては、映画のロケ地もいくつか回れたし、自転車ならではの風を感じることができてとても気持ちよかったです。

1チーム8人でスタッフの人も陽気でした。
色々と説明してくれていたので、何を言っているか分かったら、もう少し楽しめたかな・・と思います。
次回は、日本語のラプターツアーができたらまた行ってみたいです！


8月だったので虫刺されが心配でしたが虫はほとんどいなくて刺されることはありませんでした。
あと、2時間自転車で走るので、焼けます！
長袖で参加している人も結構いました。
紫外線対策をおすすめします！！
9:30~11:30がツアー参加。
13時にバスが出発するので、終わった後はお土産ショップ見たり軽くランチしました。
あまり美味しくない、、と書かれてましたがそんなことはなかったです！
欲を言えば、ビールくらい飲めるとよかったのになぁと思いました〜〜。

So much Fun!

My sister and I went to Kualoa Ranch for my birthday to do the E-Bike tour, and we are so glad that we did. It was so much fun riding E-Bikes. There was a slight delay in getting started due to the sizes of the bikes being a good fit for the riders. Justice and Christian went above and beyond to find the right bike for each rider. Once we got started on our tour, it was so much fun riding around the ranch. The ranch is so beautiful, and Justice is very knowledgeable with the history of the ranch and shared all of the "Fun Facts" with us during our stops making it interesting. The only negative thing that I could say is that I wish it was a longer ride, I didn't want to stop.
Next time I am in Oahu I will definitely be coming back :)

Due to the lack of Japanese speakers, all the information was provided in English, which I couldn't understand at all.
However, the scenery was absolutely stunning.
I could sense that all the guides were cheerful and probably made a lot of jokes.

We were not able to stop at all the sites which was disappointing. I was looking forward to taking pictures of things on the brochures and so I was disappointed. The time in between arrival and your event needs to be planned better. We had to wait two hours before the UTV tour and then another two hours after were were able to board the bus to go home. It would have been great to do another tour of something instead of waiting.
