I rode a horse for the first time. I was scared because it was such a big animal, but by the end, I was able to pet its neck and nose. The scenery was also wonderful, making it a great memory. I did a 2-hour horseback riding tour at Kualoa Ranch (with transportation included). Upon arrival, everything was in English for check-in and facility guidance. I had a reservation at 12:00 and arrived around 11:30, where I received a general briefing before heading to each activity. They advised us to arrive at least 15 minutes early, and if you were even a little late, they would start without waiting. Before that, I was told to put my backpack and other belongings in a locker, but the available lockers were broken and empty... With only five minutes left until the meeting time, I was anxious, but I explained the situation to the staff who gave the briefing and was able to hand my things directly to them. I accidentally left my valuables inside, which worried me, but they were returned safely after the tour. There is a small pouch holder on the horse's saddle, so you can put a small pouch (about the size of a sacoche) and water there. Having a strap to hang your smartphone on your shoulder makes it easy to take photos. The guide spoke English but also made an effort to communicate in broken Japanese, which was nice. I also felt that they were well-trained in safety measures. This time, we went on a zip line tour as a family, and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, creating great memories.

I was saddened by the lack of English explanations due to my limited English skills. Japanese tourists are gradually returning to pre-COVID levels, and I hope they can implement Japanese guided tours at least once a day or at least every other day. The guide was friendly and took photos for us, and it felt great to drive through the beautiful land of Kualoa for two hours. I thought it would be even more enjoyable if I understood the movie explanations. We only passed by the giant fallen tree from Jurassic Park, while other tourists were taking photos, but we just walked by. When I asked the guide at the next stop why we didn't stop there, he said that this tour does not stop at that location. If that's the case, it's misleading to have that photo included in the tour description.

Also, when booking the shuttle tour, it's important to try various start times to find one that suits you, or you will waste a lot of time at Kualoa. We had a 10:30 AM start for the buggy tour, and our pickup in Waikiki was at 8:15 AM. We arrived at Kualoa around 9:15 AM, listened to the Japanese guide, watched a Japanese video, and then hurried to buy souvenirs before the tour started. The lockers were broken (it seems to always be that way), so we had to protect our souvenirs with eco-bags as much as possible and placed them at our feet in the buggy, but the eco-bags ended up covered in dust.

After finishing the buggy tour at 12:30 PM, I bought photos from the vendor and went to the restroom, only to find it was already time for the return bus. 次の停止ポイントで、ガイドさんになぜさっき止まらなかったか聞いたら、このツアーはあそこには止まらない、とのこと。だったら、このツアーにあの写真が載ってるのは間違いです。
あと、送迎ツアーを申し込む時は、開始時間を色々入力してみて自分に合った時間にしないとクアロアでタイムロスが多くなります。私たちは10時30分スタートのバギーでワイキキピックアップは8時15分でした。クアロアに9時15分頃着いて、日本語ガイドさんから話を聞いて、日本語ビデオを見て、その後、開始までの時間に急いでお土産を購入。ロッカーが故障してたので、（どうもいつもそんな感じみたい）お土産を出来る限り持参のエコバッグなどで守って、バギーの足元に置いて出発しましたが、エコバッグはホコリまみれになりました。

USJやディズニーランドでは味わえない、とっってもリアルでプライスレスな体験ができました！！

When I arrived at Kualoa Ranch by bus, it was drizzling, and at times it got stronger, so I was worried about whether we could enjoy the experience. However, after borrowing a raincoat, it cleared up and I was able to comfortably participate in the tour!

There was one instructor and about six participants, including myself, and we rode horses for about an hour and a half. We were able to enjoy the vast nature while visiting the filming locations of movies. The horses were very well-behaved and participated in the tour calmly, mostly without needing much direction from us.

The tour was conducted in English. Before participating, there were staff members who spoke Japanese, so they confirmed the meeting place and time for me, allowing me to join without any trouble or confusion!

After the horseback riding, we had some time before the return bus, so I looked at souvenirs and bought some drinks and ice cream to enjoy.

　バスでクアロアランチに着いた時はパラパラ雨が降っていて、時に強くなることがあったので体験ができるか心配していました。カッパを貸してもらって出発後は晴れて来て、快適にツアーに参加できました！

The local tour was very satisfying! The bus to the destination took a while to arrive, and when it finally did, it passed the meeting point and picked up passengers in front of a different hotel. Fortunately, someone else was inquiring about the bus information from the tour company, and we found out it was indeed the pickup bus, which saved us from any issues. However, I think it would be reassuring to have the bus company's information in advance and to receive updates if there are any changes to the pickup location.

The driver had a Japanese driver's license, and I, sitting in the passenger seat, had a copy of my passport, but it wasn't necessary. Also, wearing long pants wasn't required. There was a Japanese-speaking staff member who gathered Japanese speakers and provided an explanation in Japanese. After that, we split into groups for horseback riding, location tours, and buggies, all conducted in English. As everyone mentioned in their reviews, the sand and dust get on your face and clothes, but it's all part of the fun! I wore a mask for infection control, but I noticed some people bought scarves from the Kualoa Ranch shop to wrap around their mouths, which I thought was a good idea. We stopped at about three locations where the staff explained various things, but I couldn't understand the guide's content due to the language barrier, which was disappointing. However, I think driving myself was enjoyable. We passed through several areas with standing water, going slowly to avoid splashing or intentionally driving in quickly, getting the inside of the car soaked. Overall, the breathtaking natural views that you can't see in Japan and the fun of driving a buggy that you can't experience in Japan were amazing!

運転する人は日本の免許証を、助手席に乗る私はパスポートのコピーを用意していましたが不要でした。また長ズボンでなくても大丈夫です。「日本語の説明が必要な方はこちらへ」と日本人を集めて日本語を話せるスタッフがひと通り説明して下さり、その後、乗馬、ロケ地巡りツアー、バギー等それぞれに分かれ、英語のみに。皆さんのレビュー通り、砂ホコリで顔も服も汚れますが、それも楽しい！私は感染対策用のマスクを着けましたが、売店でクアロア牧場のスカーフを買って口に巻いている人がいて、それもいいなと思いました。3カ所ほど止まって車から降りてスタッフが色々説明してくれるのですが、英語がわからず･･･ガイドの内容がわからないのは残念でしたが、自分で運転するのは楽しいと思います。途中水が溜まっている所を何ヶ所か通過するのですが、水を飛ばさないようにゆっくり通ったり、わざと勢いよく入って車の中まで水浸しになったり。とにかく日本では見ることのできない壮大な自然の眺め、日本では体験できない楽しいバギー運転、最高でした！
