The boat crew was amazing. You will take your shoes off prior to entering the boat and the crew assists with the facilitation of passengers onto the vessel. The main challenge is timing the waves with getting passengers on board. The crew did a great job with this and ensured everyone stayed dry (for the most part!) Once on the boat there are several different seating options: Bean bag chairs, bench seating down by the bar area, and seating on the front of the vessel. I would recommend sitting in the bean bags as they are comfortable and provide a great view (just be careful with your phone as there are slits it could possibly fall through into the ocean.)

Dinner was served on the boat and it was excellent. The brussel sprouts and chicken bites were delicious! Drinks were also served and the crew did a great job with serving everyone in a timely and frequent manner. The trip was extra special for me as my wonderful fiance (then boyfriend) proposed to me as the sun set over the mountains. My friends worked with the crew members to make the moment extra special as they deliberately turned the boat for us to see the sunset in our engagement pictures. During/after the proposal they provided us with a champagne shower and the rest of the bottle of champagne! Truly a moment we will never forget.

A++ experience!

The boat crew was outstanding. Very informative and helpful in all aspects of the trip. Many whales were spotted throughout the entire adventure and the crew's commentary on the whales was interesting. Breakfast and lunch on the boat was also excellent. Breakfast was light and more so appetizers so if you need more sustenance make plans for that. Lunch had plenty of food leftover if you wanted/needed seconds. Around lunch time the bar was opened for drinks and the bartenders were all awesome! A handful of beers (crafts, domestics) and mixed drinks were served. The snorkel gear provided by the boat was great as well. They provided anti-fog spray for the masks so don't worry about bringing any. Oh, there's also a slide on the back of the boat. Good time.

Our group was lucky enough to spot a handful of sea turtles, which really made the trip a special one. The guides on the water were careful to ensure trip members did not get too close or touch the sea turtles, which was nice to see. The bathrooms on board were clean and had no issues. The top of the boat was bench seating with plenty of room for the amount of passengers that were on the trip. Sunscreen was provided on board so do not worry about bringing your own.

Overall, there is nothing I can think of to improve the experience we had. Would highly recommend and even do again if ever back on the island! A+

At the ranch, there are ample options for breakfast/lunch that were well priced and very tasty! Plenty of opportunities to take great photos by the mountains prior to the bus picking you up as well...

The tour guides held a brief safety course before taking the group out zip lining to ensure everyone was comfortable using the equipment. Speaking of tour guides, they were all very friendly and engaging. Any and all questions were answered by them and they helped facilitate conversation among everyone participating. There were a handful of cold water stations throughout the tour so there is no need to bring any personal water...

Plenty of professional photography spots (taken automatically as you zip by them on the line) are located on the zip line tour, which will be pointed out by the guides. [None of the photos I posted are the professional photos.] I recommend purchasing the pictures (whole package rather than individuals) as the price can't be beat for the quality and quantity of photos. Oh, also bring some cash if you would like to purchase some energy shots from the photographer in case you had one too many mai tais the night before!

Overall it was a great experience worth paying for that I can't find anything to improve upon. A+!

Other things I can think of off the top of my head:
-Free locker storage for valuable items
-I would recommend bringing sunscreen and sunglasses and even a hat
-Hiking isn't that strenuous. Do not need to be in excellent shape or anything.
-Seeing where some of my favorite movies were filmed was pretty neat!
-Wear comfy tennis shoes

It was great to move by boat while watching the sunset falling into the sea. The blue glowing lights were also fantastical and beautiful. After waiting for a few minutes holding onto a buoy like a board, a manta ray came from the ocean floor. It approached right below my stomach, opening its large mouth and spinning around. I was able to see three manta rays. It was wonderful.

ボードのような浮きに掴って待つこと数分、海底からマンタがやってきました。大きなくちを開けてグルリグルリと回転しながら私のお腹のすぐ下まで来ました。３枚のマンタを見る事が出来ました。素晴らしかったです。

I participated in this tour in early February. After about two and a half hours from the pickup, we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center located on the slopes of Mauna Kea around 4 PM. We took a break for about an hour while enjoying a bento and warm miso soup, but it was quite cold at an altitude of about 2,800 meters, so I put on the fleece and down jacket I brought with me.

Then we set off towards the summit. I was worried about altitude sickness, but I made sure to stay hydrated, took in sugar with candies and chocolate, and followed the precautions of not exerting myself too much, so I was fine.

The summit was a snowy landscape, and it was very cold with the wind. The sunset from the summit was truly beautiful and moving. The clouds dyed in the sunset were very mystical.

After that, it seemed that the access road to the summit was closed due to the risk of road freezing, so I felt really lucky to have made it to the summit that day.

I was also looking forward to stargazing, but I had expected to see a sky full of stars. However, since it was four days before the full moon, the moon was bright and there were many clouds, so I couldn't see many stars. I was really looking forward to it, so it was disappointing. The guide told me that aiming for the new moon period from April to October is best for seeing the Milky Way. I definitely want to have a stargazing revenge! I would love to visit the Big Island again. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

2月初旬にこのツアーに参加しました。ピックアップから約2時間半後の16時過ぎにマウナケアの中腹にあるオニヅカビジターセンターに到着。お弁当と温かいお味噌汁をいただきながら1時間ほど休憩するのですが、標高約2800メートル付近はかなり寒く、持ってきたフリースとダウンを着込みました。
そして山頂に向けて出発。高山病が心配でしたが、こまめに水分補給し、飴やチョコなどで糖分を取り、激しい動きをしないといった注意事項をしっかりと守っていたので大丈夫でした。
山頂は雪景色で風もありとても寒かったです。
山頂からのサンセットは本当に美しく感動しました。夕日に染まった雲がとても幻想的でした。
その後、道路が凍結する恐れがあるということで山頂へのアクセスロードが閉鎖されたようで、その日、山頂まで行けたことは本当にラッキーでした。
もう1つ楽しみにしていた星空観測ですが、私は満天の星が見られるものと期待してましたが、その日は満月の4日前で、月が明るく雲も多くて、あまり星は見れませんでした。とても楽しみにしていたので残念でした。ガイドさんが4月〜10月の新月の頃を狙うと天の川がよく見えますよと教えてくれました。やはり星空観測はリベンジしたい！またハワイ島を訪れたいと思いました。素敵な思い出をありがとうございました！

I was worried about snorkeling with my child, but I felt quite reassured and satisfied with the activity because the guide stayed with us the whole time! At one point, my child started saying they were cold and wanted to get out, but I appreciated how kindly the guide handled it without any negative reactions. The shuttle car was nice, and we had a comfortable drive. They took photos with a GoPro, so we have great quality memories! Data download was also available! Thank you!

子連れでシュノーケルは不安でしたが、ガイドの先生がずっと一緒についていてくれたのでかなり安心で満足するアクティビティーでした！
途中で子どもが寒くてもう上がりたいと言い始めましたが、嫌な顔せず対応いただき有り難かったです。
送迎の車もいい車で心地よくドライブできました。
ゴープロで写真を撮ってくれたので、いい画質で良い思い出ができました！データダウンロードＯＫでした！ありがとうございます！

At the end of February, it was a bit chilly, but I was able to see sea turtles, go snorkeling, enjoy delicious lunches, and even had fun singing! However, the snorkeling spot wasn't as beautiful as I had imagined; I did see some fish, but I was expecting a clearer sea, so that was a bit disappointing. Still, I had a great time!

2月末で肌寒かったですが、ウミガメが見れたりシュノーケリングしたりお昼も美味しく、歌を歌ってくれたりして楽しく過ごせました！
ただシュノーケリングの海が思っていたよりキレイではなく魚は見れましたが、もっと透き通った海を想像していたので、そこは残念でした。でも、楽しく過ごせたので良かったです！

We participated as a couple in our 60s.
The weather was bad on the day, but we managed to reach the summit.
We couldn't see the sunset due to the blizzard, but the starry sky afterward was very beautiful.
It seems there are risks of not being able to reach the summit in winter on Mauna Kea, but the snow-covered Mauna Kea is mystical and wonderful in its own way, and I highly recommend it.

60代二人で参加させていただきました。
当日は天候が悪かったですが、なんとか頂上まで登ることができました。
吹雪でサンセットは見ることができませんでしたが、そのあとの星空はとても綺麗にみることができました。
冬のマウナケアは登頂できないリスクもあるようですが、雪の積もったマウナケアはそれはそれで神秘的で素敵でおすすめです。
ガイドのﾏｻさん、高価なカメラで撮影していただきありがとうございました。
イチカワさん、星空のレクチャーとても面白かったです。
また来ることが出来たら次こそは。

Shuttle pick up and drop off were seamless. The perfect amount of time at the Bay to get through admissions, snorkel, float, sun and snack! The gear worked well and fit like a glove.

The sunset was amazing and moving! The Mai Tai has less alcohol, so I think even those who are not strong with alcohol can enjoy it. The wind is strong and it's a bit chilly, so you'll need something to wear.

サンセットが素晴らしくて感動❣️マイタイはアルコール少なめなのでお酒の弱い方でも飲めると思います風が強く肌寒いので羽織るモノは必要です。

We participated as a family of three. The meeting time was early in the morning, but surprisingly, we received a wake-up call in our hotel room! The crew was incredibly energetic and worked hard to keep the atmosphere lively. We had a great time.

Whenever we spotted dolphins, we jumped in to see them. We repeated this a few times, going back and forth to where the dolphins were. (For those who are snorkeling for the first time, it might be a bit scary.) While there’s no worry of drowning since you wear a life jacket, the water is quite deep. The dolphins swam quite below us, and they were fast, so we couldn't see them up close, but we did get to see them jumping and swimming in groups.

A sea turtle swam slowly close to us, and my daughter was able to capture some photos of it up close. We also encountered whales from the boat.

The cheeseburger for lunch was quite substantial, and the pineapple was sweet and delicious! However, I think it might be tough for those who get motion sickness. If you don’t take precautions, it could be quite challenging. Floating and swimming in the deep sea is the most likely to cause seasickness.

At the end, we took a group photo, and they later sent the pictures via email. I think the service was attentive in every aspect.

We returned to Waikiki in the early afternoon, which allowed us to schedule other plans for the afternoon, so it was good to do it in the morning. Thank you for a fun day!

家族３人で参加しました。集合時間が早朝だったのですが、なんとホテルの部屋にモーニングコール(^^♪びっくりしました！
クルーの皆さんはめっちゃテンション高く、一生懸命盛り上げてくれ(^^)/
とても楽しく過ごせました。
イルカを見つけると、そこへ飛び込んでイルカを見る。また船でイルカのいる場所に行きイルカを見る・・・を何度か繰り返しました。
(シュノーケリング初めての方は怖いかもしれません）ライフジャケットを着ているので溺れる心配はありませんが、かなり深いので（汗）
イルカは私たちのかなり下を泳いでいて、スピードも早くてあまり近くでは見られませんでしたが、群れで海上をはねて泳ぐ姿も見れました。
ウミガメはゆっくり私たちの近くに泳いできてくれて、娘は至近距離で泳ぐ姿を撮影できました。船の上からは鯨にも会えました。
お昼のチーズバーガーはお肉がかなりボリュ－ムあり。パイナップルも甘くておいしかったです！
ただ、乗り物酔いする方にはかなりきついかと思います。対策していかないと、大変だと思います。船よりも、深い海で浮いて泳ぐことが一番酔います。

最後に全員で写真を撮り、後にメールで写真を送ってくださいました。
何から何まで行き届いたサービスだと思います。

ワイキキに戻るのはお昼過ぎ。午後からは違う予定を入れられるので午前にしてよかったです。

We would definitely recommend and do this again! We had a blast!

I didn't expect Hawaii to be this cold in February! It rained occasionally, and due to the tide, the sandbar wasn't exposed, so we were about 20 cm underwater, which was a bit different from the stunning photos you usually see. However, the snorkeling experience was enjoyable, and I appreciated the kind lessons provided. I was also grateful to be able to borrow a wetsuit.

2月のハワイがこんなに寒いとは！
時折雨降るし、サンドバーは潮位の関係で砂地は出ておらず、20cmくらい水に浸かっていて、よく見る映えな写真とはちょっと違う感じでした。
ただ、シュノーケルについては、親切にレッスンもあり楽しめました。ウェットスーツを貸していただけてありがたかったです。

I visited the Big Island for the first time. I was picked up on time at 1:20 PM from the Royal Kona Resort, and we set off on the tour. We visited two other hotels, and there were about 11 people in total on the tour.

The mountain roads were quite unpaved, and the vibrations were significant even in the tour's 4WD vehicle. After the Onizuka Visitor Center, we were advised not to sleep to prevent altitude sickness, and I think it's a good idea for those who are anxious to bring motion sickness medication.

At the Onizuka Visitor Center, we enjoyed a very Japanese-style bento and warm miso soup (the warm miso soup was great), and we stayed for a little over an hour to acclimatize before heading to the summit.

At the summit, there was still quite a bit of snow, and I was quite surprised to see locals snowboarding.

The weather was excellent, and the views and night scenery were amazing. The convenience of being able to drive to over 4,000 meters in elevation is fantastic.

However, as I mentioned in the title, the guide's voice was quite soft, and there were many times when I couldn't understand what was being said, which was disappointing. Since the guide was young, they might have been nervous. Overall, the tour itself was wonderful, and I hope for improvements in the future.

ハワイ島には初めて行きました。ロイヤルコナリゾートを時間通り13:20に迎えに来ていただきツアー出発。他のホテル2件にまわり、合計で11人ほどのツアーでした。
山道はかなり非舗装の感じが強く、ツアーの4WDでも振動がすごかったです。オニヅカビジターセンター以降は高山病の予防のため眠ってはいけなく、不安な人は酔い止めを持っていったほうがいいと思いました。
オニヅカビジターセンターではいかにもジャパニーズなお弁当と温かいお味噌汁をいただき(お味噌汁が温かくてよかったです)、高地順応のため1時間ちょっと滞在してから山頂へ。
山頂ではかなり雪が残っており、スノーボードをしている現地の人がいたことにはかなり驚きでした。
とにかく天気が良く、景色と夜景は最高でした。標高4,000m以上に車だけで行ける手軽さは素晴らしいです。
しかし、タイトルにも書きましたがガイドさんの声が小さく、何を言っているのかよくわからないことが多くあったのが残念でした。若いガイドさんでしたので、緊張していたかもしれません。ツアー自体は素晴らしいものでしたので、これからに期待したいと思います。

Riding on a horse amidst the overwhelming scenery was very pleasant. Moreover, it was a great point that I could see not only the mountains but also the beautiful ocean. I participated in the two-hour course, but it was a bit tough for someone who doesn't exercise much since there were no breaks along the way. However, the view from the back of the cute horse and seeing my family was the best!

圧倒的な景色の中、馬に揺られて進むのは、とても気持ちが良かったです。
しかも山だけではなく海まで綺麗に見えたのがとてもうれしいポイントでした。２時間コースに参加したのですが、途中で休憩がなかったので運動不足の身には少しキツかったです。でもかわいい馬の背中で見る景色と家族の姿は最高でした❗️

It was a tour where we enjoyed three activities, and as soon as one ended, the next was waiting for us. After that, we had lunch, and then the final tour followed, creating a seamless flow like being on a conveyor belt. Before we knew it, the enjoyable tour was over.

３つのアクチビテイを楽しむツアーでしたが、一つのそれが終わるとすぐ次のそれが待っていて、それがすむとランチ、そして最後のツアーとまるでベルトコンベヤーに載っているような無駄のない流れ、アッという間に楽しいツアーが終わりました。

Guides were great...clearly love what they do. Saw lots of beautiful fish. Hanauma Bay was beautiful. Go with the wetsuit if you tend to get cold easily.

We saw dolphins, turtles, and even a whale, and there was a rainbow too—it was amazing! Since it's cold in February, it's better to spend $10 to rent a wetsuit!

2月は寒いのでウェットスーツは10ドル出してでも借りた方が良いです！

I participated alone. I had some anxiety, but the check-in and boarding went smoothly. There were whales everywhere. Every time we spotted one, the captain and the other passengers would announce it and point it out, so we moved the boat left and right to take pictures! At the end of the tour, a whale came close to the boat, dove underneath, and popped up to play with us! Everyone was super excited! ☆ Since there was some wind and occasional rain (though not for long), I think it's a good idea to bring a windbreaker. It was a very valuable experience, and I was moved. Thank you very much!!

不安もありましたがチェックインから乗船、その後もスムーズでした。クジラはあちこちにいました。見えるたびにキャプテンや乗客の皆さんがアナウンスや指差しをして教えてくれたので船を右に左に飛び回って写真を撮りました！
ツアーの最後にはクジラが船に近づいてきて、船の下に潜り込み、顔を出して戯れてくれました！
みんな大興奮でした☆
風があったり、たまに雨が降ったり(長い時間ではありませんが)するので、ウインドブレーカーを持参しても良いと思います。
とても貴重な体験が出来感動しました。

We participated in the 2-hour course with five people. Since it was a last-minute reservation, we joined the final tour at 3 PM. I think it was even more enjoyable during the time when the colors of the sky change at sunset. The accompanying staff were kind and took many photos, creating great memories. I considered going solo, but I think it was better to experience it together with everyone in the five-person option, having fun and chatting.

２時間コース、５人で参加しました。
ぎりぎりの予約だったので、最終の15時台のツアーとなりました。夕焼け時に空の色も変わる時間帯でより楽しめたのではないかと思います。同行のスタッフさんが親切で写真を沢山撮っていただき、いい思い出になりました。
１人乗りと迷いましたが、みんなでわいわいしながら体験できるので５人乗りで良かったと思います。

The cost for three family members exceeded 60,000 yen. It can't be helped because of the rain... But they said, "The fact that cancellations are not allowed was written in small print when you made your reservation. I recommend postponing to tomorrow, but it will cost $20 per person, and I can't guarantee what tomorrow will be like." Well, that's true, but...

To top it off, when we saw stars peeking through the cloudy sky, they said, "It's close to a full moon today, so you won't see stars on a day like this. Please come back during a new moon next time." That really rubbed me the wrong way.

So, we ended up eating cold bento in the car and just driving around. It was a tour where we were scolded for being unprepared.

でも「キャンセルができないことは、申し込みいただいた時に小さな字で書いてありましたよね。明日への延期を薦めますが、一人２０ドルかかり、明日もどのようになるのか断言はできません」との事。まぁそうだろうけど・・・
挙句の果ては、曇り空の合間に星が見えた時も「今日は満月に近いので、こんな日に来ても星は見えません。次回申し込みする時には、新月に来てください」との事。
逆撫でるじゃねーか。
ということで、冷えた弁当を車で食べて、ひたすらドライブ。挙句勉強不足だと注意されたツアーでした。

I usually watch the Polynesian show, but this time I chose the show at the Royal Hawaiian Center. I really enjoyed it.

なかなか楽しめました

We were able to do a lot of whale watching off the coast of Lahaina on both the outbound and return trips. The views of the valleys of Maui and the cloud-covered Haleakalā from the sea were also exceptional.

往復ともラハイナ沖では　たくさんのホエールウォッチングができました
マウイの渓谷や海雲のかかったハレアカラの山も海上からの眺めは　また格別でした。

The all-you-can-eat snacks and drinks, including alcohol, were great. Meals in Hawaii are quite expensive, so I had been struggling to eat my fill for a while, but this day I had dinner here, and the cocktails were delicious too.

Of course, the cruising was amazing. I've never seen such a beautiful sunset before. A couple of mother and baby whales came close to us! You could only see their backs and tails above the water, but they were adorable. When I went whale watching in Waikiki, I could only see them tiny and far away, so I really appreciated this tour.

I highly recommend it. There was a bit of distance from the hotel to the meeting place, so it was my first time renting a car overseas, but I think driving on the Big Island is relatively easy. I'm glad my debut went well. Thanks to that, I was able to visit various beaches, and I'm grateful for that!

お菓子とアルコール含む飲み物が食べ放題　飲み放題でした。とにかくハワイの食事が高いので　なかなかお腹いっぱい食べれない日が続いていて　この日はここで夕飯がわり　カクテルも美味しくて良かったです。
もちろん　クルージングは　最高でした。あんな綺麗なサンセット今まで見た事ありません。くじらの親子も2組くらい近くに来てくれました！背中と尻尾くらいしか水面から見えませんが　可愛かったです。ワイキキに行った時もホェールウォッチングして来たのですが、ほんと遠くにちっちゃーく見えただけで　あんなものかと思ってただけに　このツアーは良かったーと思います。
おすすめです。ホテルから集合場所までちょっと距離があったので海外初めてのレンタカーでしたが、ハワイ島は運転しやすい方だと思います。デビュー上手く行って良かったです。おかげで、色んなビーチに遊びに行けて

We were visiting Hawaii on our honeymoon and wanted to do a waterfall hike. Yuji was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable about all the trees and plants and he was very nice and funny. It was a great experience !

It's a tour that lasts about 2 hours in total. We went as a couple, but ended up with another person who joined us, so there were three of us taking off together. The drivers were two cheerful individuals, and they were entertaining throughout. It was also fun to be splashed with water multiple times. If you have a GoPro that's waterproof, you'll be fine.

全部で2時間くらいのツアーです。カップルで行ったのですが1人別で来ていた方と同じになり3人で飛び立ちました。運転手は愉快な2人で終始面白かったです。何回も水に落とされるのも面白かったです。ゴープロは防水仕様なら大丈夫です。

It was a two and a half hour stage, and I had a great time without getting bored. The food was delicious as well. I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I understood English.

Horseback riding in nature was my first experience. By chance, I joined a Japanese tour, so I was able to receive guidance on how to handle the horses from the guide from start to finish.

大自然の中の乗馬　初めての体験でした。
たまたま、日本人ツアーと一緒になったのでガイドさんによる馬の扱い方などを最初から最後までお世話になることが出来ました。

Due to bad weather, we couldn't reach the summit. We also couldn't see the sunset because of the clouds. It's unfortunate since I was looking forward to it, but it can't be helped because of the weather. We were able to see the starry sky, but due to the full moon, it wasn't a perfect starry night... You really need to check the calendar before going to avoid missing out.

天候のためなので仕方ありませんが、楽しみにしていたので残念でした。
星空は見れましたが、満月のため満点の星空とはいかず。。。ちゃんと暦を見て行かないと損します。

It was the most fun activity I've experienced in Hawaii so far! (Personally) There was one staff member who spoke Japanese and was very friendly. The rest of the staff primarily spoke English, and all explanations were in English, but they communicated well with gestures, so it was not a problem at all! There were lockers and transportation available, which was great! There is a set pickup time, but there was a slight delay (typical overseas timing), but they do come to pick you up, so it's all good! If you're worried, it might be a good idea to call.

今までハワイで経験したアクティビティの中で一番楽しかったです！（個人的に）
日本語を話してくれるスタッフさんは1人いてくれてとてもフレンドリーな方でした^_^それ以外の方は基本英語だけで、説明等も全て英語ですがジェスチャー等で教えてくれたりと全く問題ないです！ロッカーや送迎もあり良かったです！お迎え時間は設定されていますが多少遅れもありました（海外タイムですね）けどちゃんと迎えに来てくれるので大丈夫です！心配だったら電話すると良いかもです^_^
