even though I couldn't make it all the way to the bottom scuba diving cause I couldn't get my breathing/hyperventilating under control I still had the best time ever just being able to experience what I did. The small Asian girl and both guys as well as the captain were awesome and the two in the water instructors were patient and encouraging. They def made it a good time and an experience in Hawaii that will last a lifetime. thank you Waikiki Dive Center. we will be back again our next trip to Hawaii. 5 STAR SERVICE!!!

Loved the shark adventure and specially the service provided by Justin and the captain. They were so supportive and helpful.
A day before we got the message with parking instructions, which really helped us specially when you are new to area. We took a wrong turn and was running late however Justin was too supportive, she was continuously with us over the phone to guide us the route and made sure we reached on time. Thanks to Captain as well who waited for us.
Now coming to actual shark adventure: It was really fun, amount of time in a cage was ample. My 10 years old also enjoyed it. There were lot sharks around the cage. Also while coming back we saw lot of Dolphins and Captain gave us sufficient time to clicks photos as well.

The show was enjoyable and the actors interacted with the audience. The luau food was very good and had a great variety.

This was exactly what we were looking for. We were hesitant to do something like this in fear of being surrounded by young drunk 20 year olds but the mood was relaxing and enjoyable. Crew and music reflected this vibe as well. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I have been to the islands many times but this was our first to the sandbar! Captain Bob’s was awesome. The boat, food, staff and the amazing sandbar was all excellent. We are making this a new tradition, for sure!

Went here for vacation, from the time you entered to the time they left they treated you like family. The dinner was great and so was the show!

We have been to luaus on all four major Hawaiian islands and they are expensive. Traveling with a party of six can be quite expensive. Being able to just purchase tickets for a luau show was very inexpensive and the value was fantastic. Great show we actual stadium style seating. And for the price, this is the best luau show on any of the islands. A short “train” ride from the entrance was also included in the price, which was only $20 per person when we went. Great value!

The best time on the island. Staff super helpful professional and knowledgeable, kept us entertained and throughout the day. Food was great, provided us water and drinks throughout the trip (BYOB) to keep us hydrated. Will recommend to anyone looking for a snorkeling adventure.

They were very nice. I did expect more manga rays but honestly didn’t know what I was expecting. Got to see a shark though so that’s cool.

Trevor, Allie and Diego were excellent hosts, both informative and entertaining. They provided all safety info in a clear manner, all the manta ray facts you could wish for, and a good laugh as well! We saw so many rays!! Allie was helpful with participants having trouble with positioning, Diego took great photos and shared them, and Trevor kept us all afloat and played great tunes. Would recommend, would go again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The weather, cloudy and quite windy, made this cruise less than hoped for.

It cause it to be shorter (didn't go all the way to end of Na Pali Coast), not able to enter the cave, not able to stay in regular snorkel location, and overall duration was 1 hour shorter than scheduled.

I realize this is beyond the control of the crew, but was disappointing.

A super fun carefree way to enjoy some drinks on a boat in Hawaii with friends and family! The crew is fun, make sure to bring cash to tip them, if you’re nice they’ll bring you drinks while you enjoy the sunset cruise. They play music too, some song were a bit old but overall the highlight of my hawaii vacation!!

We came here for the first time. We had much fun and staffs are super friendly and helpful.

This experience was worth it all! The crew was great and they took really good care of you! They pointed out the sea turtles and told us where to go so we can find them! They always made sure everyone was doing okay and if we needed anything, they would go out of their way to make sure we’re having a great time. We purchased their “special” drink and it was delicious. The boat itself is very clean as . The crew is very funny and will make your trip worth it. I can’t wait to book my next adventure with them.

Had an amazing time on a morning tour out to the Kaneohe sandbar. Very fun and friendly staff, with an additional perk of the best live music onboard. Would highly recommend!!

We had a wonderfull day, the live music, activities available and the whole mood of the trip was so much fun and relaxed!the food was just a small salad and croissant sandwich with chips and a water so if your very hungry get I’d advise you to get some food at the cafe by the docks, it’s super yummy! The trips also byo friendly so we had our own food and drinks! The staff and entertainment were amazing!there were families, children, couples and friends like our group! It was well blended and I will defiantly be coming back on my next trip to hawaii! Mahalo!

Our tour guide Lilo was kind funny and welcoming, we had a lot of fun and learned a bit too! Beautiful area, Thanks for a great wholesome day out with friends!

My partner and I enjoyed the movie tour and the jungle tour. Amazing scenery and the tour guides were great.

We had an amazing time. We got 20 minutes in the cage with a total of 6 people, and 12 people on the boat. We saw dozens of Galapagos sharks that came right up to the cage. I felt completely safe inside the cage while still feeling connected to the sharks. Both Erin and Alexis were helpful and knowledgeable. They did their best to make sure we had a fantastic time. They even stopped on the way back so we could enjoy watching the dolphins. I 100% recommend this shark tour. Just be weary that it was very rough in the cage so maybe not ideal for those not comfortable in the water.

If you visit Kauai in April and want to see the Na Pali Coast then make sure you book with Makana. To navigate the choppy waters you will want a good Captain.

The whole experience was simply awesome and whether you are in Hawaii for 2 days, 7 days , 2 weeks DO NOT MISS THIS !

Our trip with Makana Charters was a great time - our guides Cam and Asia were very helpful, knowledgeable and made the trip fun, as well as showing us amazing sights along the Na Pali Coastline. We entered a couple of awesome sea caves, saw turtles and hundreds of fish and sea life snorkeling, learned about the culture and history of the native Kauaian people, and enjoyed great views of the beautiful mountains, waterfalls and beaches all along the coastline. Safety was always front and foremost - we never felt at risk in any way. Would highly recommend Makana Charters - you can't go wrong!

This was the best snorkel trip we have ever done! The crew was extremely kind and helpful. The boat was small with about 30 people on board (versus boats with 100+), which made snorkeling and the boat ride very nice as we all had our own space. Molokini was amazing. I have never seen such great coral and fish. The visibility was like seeing in HD. At Turtle Town, the one crew member (I can't remember his name, I'm sorry!) did an amazing reef tour where he pointed out different fish, gave lots of facts, and helped us try to swim under the arches. He even pointed out a white tip reef shark! And of course, we saw some turtles. Mollie, the photographer, got lots of amazing pictures of us diving and gave us an amazing deal. She even gave us lots of helpful tips for our road to Hana experience. The food was great and I truly can not stress how amazing the crew was in making this experience one of the most memorable. I would do this again!

Walk and see at your own pace and time.
The shuttle bus is on time and not packed.
The bus drivers/tour guides provides good info and details on the sites visited.

It was a little crowded for our liking. Couldn't move freely without bumping into others or having to ask them to get up. The staffs were great. Very friendly and helpful. Best part was byob and food!
