The food was delicious, the sunset view was absolutely wonderful, and the show lasted a long time, so we were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly without getting bored! Considering how fulfilling it was, I think it was a great value for the price. The staff were very kind to our small children as well. Great service, great value, everything was just amazing, so our family decided to leave a tip on our way out! Of course, tipping was not mandatory. The perfect sunset cruise! Beautiful view of Honolulu. Great buffet and great crew. Great live music and Luau performance. Nice experience to share with family and friends.
Dinner food was superb also, you get a free drink (Mai Tai) on the house.
The top deck is a great spot for pictures and videos of sunset and Waikiki Beach.

We booked on our first day in Hawaii with a 3-star rating. Since check-in was at 16:45, we arrived in front of the Star of Honolulu by 16:30, and we were welcomed with hula dancing even before check-in, which made us feel the aloha spirit while waiting (laughs).

We boarded at 16:45 and were about the fifth group from the front, so I thought we might not have needed to rush. The communication on board was only in English, but we were given tickets for four drinks for the two of us, and after the first drink, we could request more as needed. The appetizers of cheese and fruit were served buffet-style, so even if you don't understand English, I think you can get the vibe. Our server, Ally, was incredibly kind, and we were really grateful for that.

After watching the dances and enjoying the scenery, we thought we were heading back to port, but then everyone started dancing to YMCA, which was chaotic but created a fantastic atmosphere. This is definitely one of the optional tours I would want to join again if I go back to Hawaii. Thank you, Ally! And thanks to the photographer with the distinctive countdown of 3, 2, 1!

再度ハワイに行くとしてもまた参加したいオプショナルツアーのひとつです。

- He picked us up at our hotel right on time, we didn’t have to wait a minute!
- He bought us donuts for the ride and told us great stories about Maui along the way.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable. Gorgeous views and so many stars. We even got to see Saturn and the Milky Way! Both our kids 11 &15 fully enjoyed it. One said it was their favorite activity on our trip. We will definitely be doing it again on our next trip to Maui. It’s does get cold at the top, so make sure you bring layers, hat and gloves! I had the experience in September. The car was exclusively ours, with no other customers present.

We secured Krispy Kreme donuts and recommended food, and after taking a break along the way, we drove to the summit over 3000 meters high. They provided us with warm clothing and blankets as a precaution against the cold, and while sitting and enjoying warm drinks, we were captivated by our conversation with Yamapi-san, almost missing the sunset (laughs). After sunset, we moved to the opposite side and saw a fantastical moon in a sky transitioning from red to blue.

As it got darker, we looked up at the stars and constellations, received explanations, and observed various celestial bodies through a telescope, creating an extraordinary experience.

Yamapi-san has climbed Haleakalā over 3000 times, so we felt safe leaving it in his hands. I was worried about altitude sickness and motion sickness, but I felt fine, and his stories were very interesting. He listened eagerly to our conversations, making it an enjoyable tour from start to finish.

I will definitely rely on him again when I visit Maui. Thank you very much.

I made a reservation for a private seat, but it was very close to the neighboring seats and uncomfortable. It felt cramped.
If you want to order drinks at your preferred timing, the waiter will refuse you. I thought it was supposed to be possible to order if you pay an additional fee? I was only allowed to order drinks equivalent to the drink tickets.
The food was also not very good. The lobster, in particular, had a bad smell.
The cost and service do not match.
Even if you want to see the fireworks, a large number of people gather in the aisles, making it difficult to enjoy the view. The shuttle bus for the return trip was also overcrowded, and you have to wait in line, so if you're going with multiple people, it might be better to use Uber.

However, while it was nice to have a private table by the window, the table was small and the spacing between tables was tight, which made it difficult to relax during the meal. The hula dance and other shows were enjoyable, and the highlight was when the staff joined in for a lively dance to YMCA, creating wonderful memories of Hawaii. We used this for a family trip of three. The atmosphere and view were excellent (we were by the window). Here are the downsides: the meat was too tough and didn't suit Japanese tastes. The most disappointing part was that the white wine we ordered was lukewarm and undrinkable, and the service was lacking. Considering the cost of about ¥35,000 per person, I would rate it 1 out of 5 overall. However, if it were a course around ¥10,000, I don't think there would be many complaints.

Upon boarding the cruise ship, the luxurious dinner and the interior of the ship were the first things that caught my eye. Just this alone made me feel it was worth it to be on board. I was particularly surprised by the size of the lobster.

The sunset viewed from the cruise during dinner was absolutely beautiful. It was a joy to dine while watching the sun set and seeing the neon lights of the hotels along Waikiki Beach. Diamond Head stood majestically, adding to the stunning scenery.

As we approached the end of the evening, the Hawaiian show began, and it was a lot of fun to sing and dance along with the other participants, creating a sense of unity. I was also very satisfied to experience the cultural dances of Hawaii.
