I hadn't been in the ocean since I was a child, so I was quite nervous, but it was so much fun! During the initial briefing at the office, they provided explanations in English followed by Japanese, but the Japanese was quite fast, so there were some details I didn't catch. I thought it would have been great for beginners like me to have a video explanation as well. (In reality, the staff accompanied us the whole time and guided us step by step, so it worked out fine.)

Our boat had about 15 people in 6 groups, and they took photos of us diving in pairs. Since most of the participants were Japanese, I asked those who dove before me for tips. The underwater scenery was beautiful, and the fish that came to the bait in my hands were incredibly cute!

For those with long hair, if you tie it back high, your face will end up closer to the front of the helmet, which can feel cramped due to the limited space in front of you. I think it's better to tie it at the neck level.

We swayed gently for just over an hour as we headed out. It felt like seasickness was a given, and there was a prior explanation about "if you feel sick, go to the back of the boat." My husband, who is a sea man, said that "people who get overly excited or nervous at first tend to get seasick," so it might be better not to get too hyped up.

At the end, they mentioned there wouldn't be a place to change, but when we returned to the office, there was about a 20-minute break that felt like a restroom stop. So, if someone really needs to, they might be able to change quickly in the restroom. (However, since there are few restrooms, I wouldn't recommend it.) We just put on our hoodies and let ourselves dry naturally on the way back.

The photos were bundled with a video for $47. Payment was made on the spot (it was card-friendly when I went), and I wrote down my email address to receive them later. It was smooth, with a request to download them within two weeks.

子供の頃以来海に入っておらず結構ドキドキだったのですがすごーく楽しかったです。
最初に事務所でレクチャー受ける際、英語説明の後日本語でもしてくれましたが結構早口なので詳細分からないところもあり、私のような初心者にとってはビデオ説明もあったら尚よかったなぁ〜なんて思いました。(実際はスタッフがずっと帯同し、手取り足取りやってくれるのでなんとかなりますが)
私達のボートは6組15名程度、順次潜りペアの写真も撮ってくれます。日本人の方がほとんどだったので前に潜った人に要領を聞いたりしました。海中は綺麗で手元の餌に寄ってくるお魚さんがメチャメチャ可愛かったです！
髪が長い方、後ろで結ぶ際に高い位置で結ぶとその分ヘルメットの前の方に顔が来てしまうので(目の前の空間が少なく圧迫感！)首の位置で結んだ方がいいと思います。
沖に出て1時間ちょっとユラユラ揺られます。船酔いはお約束といった感じで、予め「吐く時は船の後ろで」などの説明もありました。海男の夫が言うには「最初にはしゃいだりドキドキしすぎる人が酔いやすい」ということなのでテンションも上げ過ぎない方がいいかもしれません。
最後は着替える所がないとのことでしたが、事務所に戻るとトイレ休憩な感じで20分程空白の時間があったので、どうしてもという方はトイレで急いで着替えたりできるかも。(トイレの数が少ないので推奨はしませんが^^;)。私達はパーカー羽織って自然乾燥しながら帰りました。
写真は動画とセット47ドルでした。その場で支払い(私の時はカード可)、メールアドレス書いて後でメールで受け取り。2週間以内にダウンロードして下さいという形でスムーズでした〜。

Tori-chan (the Japanese instructor) provided transportation, and we had a great time in the car. I was invited multiple times by Tori-chan to participate, but I only joined as an observer, which I really regret. My daughter and son had the best experience, seeing manta rays up close for 45 minutes, including one manta that was injured and another that swam in circles four times. Next time, I plan to go to the Big Island to see the manta rays up close and meet Tori-chan again! (^O^)

とりちゃん(日本人のインストラクター)が送迎もしていただき楽しく車の中で過ごせました。
私は、とりちゃんから「参加したら？」と何度も誘ってもらいましたが見学だけの参加でしたがとても後悔をしています。娘と息子は、45分間マンタを近くで見て中には、傷ついたマンタちゃんがいたり4回もぐるぐる回ってくれるマンタちゃんがいたりで最高の体験が出来たと言っていました。次回は、マンタちゃんを近くで見ることととりちゃんに会いにハワイ島に行こうと思っています(^O^)

I couldn't see any big jumps, but I was able to see spouts near the boat multiple times. The guide spoke English, but they showed us a Japanese explanation file. It was also nice to be able to view Mauna Kea from the sea.

大きなジャンピングは見れませんでしたが、何度も船の近くで潮吹きを見ることができました。
ガイドは英語でしたが、日本語の解説ファイルを見せてくれました。
マウナケア山を海から眺めることもできて良かったです。

The father and their 3-year-old child entered the pool while the mother watched from a distance. The child seemed scared and cried, leading to a retreat to the poolside during the dolphin interaction time. However, when it was time for photos with the dolphins, the child finally stopped crying, and they were able to take pictures successfully. The dolphin instructor explained everything in English. The program details and instructions were clearly communicated by the Japanese staff. The photos taken can be purchased, and if you buy all of them, you also receive a cute USB with dolphin data. The father was able to take some unique dolphin photos as well. It seemed a bit scary for the 3-year-old, but there were older children who interacted well with the dolphins. Although the mother wanted to take photos herself, it was quite difficult since she was observing from a distance, making it hard to use her smartphone or digital camera. Although transportation was included, they took the bus back to Waikiki because they wanted to return early, which took 90 minutes.

3歳の子どもとパパとでプールに入り、ママは遠目からその姿を見ていました。
子どもは怖かったのか泣きじゃくり、イルカとの触れ合いタイムはプールサイドへ。。。
イルカとの写真の時にはようやく泣き止み、無事に写真は撮ることができました。
イルカのインストラクターさんは全部英語で説明です。
プログラムの説明ややり方は日本人スタッフのためわかりやすく教えてくれます。
とってくれた写真は購入でき、全部買うとかわいいイルカさんのUSBデータももらうことができます。
パパもパパだけのイルカ写真とれました。
3歳の子どもには少し怖かったようですが、もうちょっと大きなお子さんもいて、上手にイルカと触れ合っていました。
自分で写真を撮ろうと思ってもママは遠目からの見学のため、スマホやデジカメでの写真はかなり厳しいです。
送迎込でしたが、帰りは早く帰りたかったためバスでワイキキまで帰りましたが90分かかりました。

The ship was large and had a relaxed atmosphere. The buffet was delicious. There was live music throughout the journey, which was pleasant and wonderful. I was able to see the whales spouting water multiple times, swimming, and diving with their tails up. It was exciting to wonder where they would appear and how long they would show themselves. However, the distance to the whales made it hard to feel their grandeur. I saw them several times, and it was great to see a mother and calf swimming together.

船は大きくてゆったりした感じ。
ビュッフェも美味しかったです。
乗船中ずーと生演奏の歌があり心地よく素敵でした。
クジラは何回も潮を吹いているところや泳いでいるところ、しっぽを上げて潜るところをみれました。どこに現れるかどのくらい見せてくれるか、はらはらドキドキでした。
ただクジラまで距離があり、クジラの迫力は感じられませんでした。
何回も見られたし、親子で泳いでいるのも見れたのでとても良かったです。

Nice ride, kind staff. No whales. There was a promise to have a free new cruise if whales were not spotted, but I did not see the lady, who had to organise that. So, bit disappointing all in all

I participated with my parents. There was a problem with the hotel pickup (it was because we couldn't speak English...), and we got separated from my parents. Additionally, my son's luggage went missing (laughs). However, thanks to the prompt response from the staff, we were able to reunite with my parents and thoroughly enjoy whale watching, seeing whales multiple times. Also, my son's missing luggage was delivered to the hotel. I sincerely thank the staff, especially Emiko, for their help. The meals provided during the trip were ample, and after the watching ended, fresh fruits were added, which made me feel well taken care of.

You don't need to worry if you can't speak English (laughs). I would love to use this service again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

両親と一緒に参加しました。ホテルピックアップでトラブルがあり(私達が英語が出来なかったせいですが…)両親と離れ離れに、、、更に息子の荷物も行方不明に(笑)しかしスタッフさんの迅速な対応のお陰で両親とも合流でき、ホエールウォッチングも満喫、クジラも何度も見ることが出来ました。そして、行方不明になっていた息子の荷物もホテルまで届けていただきました。日本人スタッフの恵美子さん他、スタッフ方々に心から御礼申し上げます。乗船中の食事は十分用意されていますし、ウォッチングが終わった後にはフルーツ等が新たに足されて本当に行き届いているなと感じました。
英語が話せなくても大丈夫です。(笑)
機会があればまた利用したいです。

In late February, the weather was mostly cloudy, and the waves were strong, which might not have been the best season. However, when the sun occasionally peeked out, the color of the sea transformed into a vibrant blue. While others were riding underwater scooters, I often saw sea turtles swimming near the surface, occasionally popping up to look at us. I felt like the encounter rate was similar to seeing pigeons in Tokyo. When I rode the underwater scooter, there were plenty of fish, and I spotted several sea turtles swimming along the seabed.

Among the crowd, which included families, couples, and groups of girls, I participated in a company trip with only women. I was the only man, but thanks to a friendly staff member who was a fourth-generation Japanese American, I felt less out of place as he occasionally struck up conversations with me.

Those who are prone to seasickness should be cautious. While the boat is moving, the swaying from the waves isn't too bad, but waiting on a stationary boat can make you feel queasy. You might also feel nauseous while riding the underwater scooter. Additionally, while the scooter is fine in shallow waters, just diving a little deeper can cause severe ear pain from the water pressure, which can worsen your seasickness. I experienced mild seasickness without showing it, but I saw some people who were completely out of it, clinging to the back of the boat and making multiple trips back and forth.

Overall, the courses "Hawaii Underwater Scooter BOB - Seabob Seafloor Walk & Snorkel Cruise" (the cheaper option) and "Underwater Scooter & Hawaii Kai Sandbar Half-Day Tour with Shuttle - Enjoy Snorkeling & Stand-Up Paddleboarding!" (the more expensive option) share the same departure and return points for the scooters. Participants in the more expensive option finish their scooter ride first and switch to a high-speed boat to go to another location for stand-up paddleboarding. Meanwhile, those on the cheaper option take turns finishing their scooter rides, but the waiting time can lead to seasickness. Even after everyone on the cheaper option has finished, they have to wait until the participants from the more expensive option return, which must have felt like hell for those who got seasick.

Participants in the more expensive option, who seemed a bit queasy at first, returned to the boat looking fine. I think they recovered while playing on the high-speed boat and stand-up paddleboard. Therefore, I recommend that anyone who might feel even slightly nauseous choose the more expensive option that includes stand-up paddleboarding at the sandbar. I opted for the cheaper option because I had another activity in the afternoon and wanted to return as soon as possible, but I ended up returning to the port at the same time as those on the more expensive option.

You can rent a short-sleeved wetsuit. It's fine if you don't wear one, and you can also bring your own. Even though it was the last part of winter in February, the water only felt cold for a moment when I first entered.

Photos and videos are available for purchase: individual photos are $20 each, videos are $20, and a set is $30. I received 13 photos of myself and two additional photos of sea turtles that were likely taken separately.

2月後半で曇りがち、波も強くて時期的にはあまり良い季節ではなかった
のかもしれませんが、時折太陽が顔を出すと海の色が鮮やかなブルーに変りました。
他の人が水中スクーターに乗ってる間も、船上では水面を泳ぐウミガメが横切り、船の近くで時折顔を出してはこちらを見ているのを何度も見ることが出来ました。
東京で鳩見かけるぐらいの遭遇率ではないかと思って見ていました。
また水中スクーターで潜ると、魚はたくさんいますし、海底をウミガメが数匹泳いでいました。

家族連れ、夫婦、カップル、女の子同士のグループみたいな人ばかなりの中、女性ばかりとの社員旅行で現地自由行動、これには男1人での参加だったですが、日系4世のスタッフの気さくなおじさんが時折話しかけてくれたお陰で浮いてる感が紛れました。

酔う人は注意が必要です。
船が走っている間は、波で大きく揺れてもあまり酔いません。
停まった船で待ってる間が酔います。
水中スクーターに乗ってる時も酔うかもしれません。
さらにスクーターは浅いところを潜っているうちは大丈夫ですが、
ほんの少しさらに深く潜っただけで水圧で耳に激痛がきます。
これがまた酔いの体調を悪くします。
私も表に出さないでいられる程度では軽く船酔いしていましたが、
リバースはここで言われる船尾に張り付いたり、何度も往復して完全に死んでる人達もいました。

全体の流れとして、本コース「ハワイ 水中スクーターBOB - シーボブで海底散歩＆シュノーケルクルーズ」(値段安い方)と「水中スクーター＆ハワイカイサンドバー　半日送迎付きツアー　シュノーケリング＆スタンドアップパドルボートも楽しめる！」(値段高い方)は、スクーターに乗る場所までと帰港は一緒になります。
値段高い方の参加者が先にスクーターを終え、高速ボートに乗り換えて別な場所にスタンドアップボードなどをしに行きます。
安い方の人はその間、順番にスクーターを終えていくのですが、その待ち時間が酔います。
さらに安い方の人が全員スクーターを終えても、高い値段の方の人が戻って来るまでそのまま待たされます。
船酔いした人には地獄の時間だったと思います。

値段高い方の人は最初に少し酔ってた風な人も、ケロッとして船に戻ってきました。
高速ボートや立ちボートで遊んでいる間に回復したんだと思います。
ですので、少しでも酔うかもしれない不安のある人は、サンドバーでの
スタンドアップボートなどがセットになった値段の高い方を選択した方が良いと思います。
午後から別なアクティビティがあったので、少しでも早く帰れる方をと安い方を選択したのですが、高速ボートから船に戻ってきた高い値段の方の人と一緒に帰港しますので最終的にかかる時間は同じです。

ウレタンの半袖スウェットスーツが借りられます。
着ないでもOKです。自前でもOKです。
2月の冬最終期ですが水が冷たく感じたのは入った瞬間だけです。

撮ってくれる写真や動画はバラだと写真20ドル、動画20ドル、
セットなら30ドルでした。
写真は自分を13枚と、別で撮ったであろうウミガメ写真2枚付けてくれていました。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales, but since it's nature, that's understandable. I think it would be amazing if we could see them. Even without seeing whales, you can still enjoy the cruising experience. I definitely recommend bringing binoculars!

残念ながらクジラは見れませんでしたが、自然相手なのでそこは仕方ありません。見れたら最高だと思いますよ。クジラが見れなくてもクルージング気分は味わえます。是非、双眼鏡を持参する事をお奨めします！

At first, I was about to give up because there was no sign of them at all, but suddenly they appeared right in front of me!! I didn't even have time to take a photo. They were very shy whales; once they showed up, they didn't come back for a while (laughs). Then, out of nowhere, they appeared really close! They came so close that I could see their bumps. After that, I was able to watch three whales for a long time. I could have stayed there forever, but for some reason, we moved to another spot. There, we saw two whales from a bit of a distance. I was internally complaining that we shouldn't have moved~~ while desperately trying to record a video. On the way back to the port, we encountered a pod of spinner dolphins! It was a lucky day＼(^o^)／

最初全く出る気配がないので諦めかけていましたが、突然目の前に出現！！写真を撮る余裕もなかったです。とてもシャイなクジラたちで1回出たら暫くでない(笑)そしていきなり激近で出現！イボイボが見えるくらい近くに出ました。そのあと3頭のクジラを長い間見れました。その場所にずっと居てもよかったのに、なぜかポイント移動。そこではちょっと遠めに2頭。移動しなくてよかったのに～～と内心愚痴りながらもビデオを回すのに必死。帰港するときにスピナードルフィンの群れに遭遇！ラッキーな1日でした＼(^o^)／

I participated in a tour on the afternoon of February 26, 2018. The weather was mostly cloudy, which was different from the typical image of Hawaii's skies, but the boat didn't sway much, so I didn't get seasick. As for the whales, perhaps due to the size of the boat, there were limitations on how close we could get. We were able to see them a few times in the distance. The dorsal fin came up, there was a spout, and finally, the tail fin popped up for the finish. Smaller boats from other tours were able to get a bit closer! However, they might have experienced more swaying and seasickness.

At one point, it started to drizzle and it was windy and cold, so we moved to the lounge on the second floor. During times like this, I was glad to be on this boat.

2018.2.26の午後からのツアーに参加しました。天候は曇りがちで、ハワイの空のイメージとは違いどんよりでしたが、船の揺れは少なかったので船酔いは無かったです。肝心のクジラですが、船が大きい分、近づく距離に制限があるのでしょうか？遠くで何回か見ることが出来ました。背びれが浮いてきて、潮吹き、ラストは尾びれがぴょこんと出てきてフィニッシュ。他のツアーの小さい船はもう少し近づいて見れてましたよ！でも船の揺れは大きく船酔いするかもです。
途中小雨が降り風もあり寒かったので、2階ラウンジに移動。こういう時はこちらの船で良かったと思いました。

As a qualified PADI, I found this activity to be a great alternative to full on scuba diving. With the submarine scooter you are able to sit back and enjoy the amazing underwater world.

The Bobs team were very organised and made the whole experience enjoyable and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to those afraid of discovery scuba diving. The team also take great pictures and videos for you.

I participated with my mother. At first, we were in the room where the buffet was set up, but when we stepped outside, the sea breeze felt wonderful. It can get hot if you stay outside for too long, but when you finally see the whales or their spouts, it’s exciting and fun. So, if you decide to participate, I encourage you to actively go outside and enjoy the thrill of the search.

私は母と二人で参加しました。最初は、ビュッフェが用意されている部屋の中におりましたが、一度部屋の外に出て見ると、海の風が気持ちよかったです。
ずっと外にいると暑いですが、いざクジラの姿や潮吹きを見ると興奮しますし、楽しいですよ。なので、参加される場合には、積極的に外に出て、探す楽しさを味わっていただきたいです。

I was disappointed. The waves were high, and many people on the boat got seasick. We didn't see any whales either. I don't recommend this for those who are prone to seasickness.

ガッカリでした。波が高くて船に乗って居られた沢山の方か船酔いをされてました。
鯨も見れませんでした。船酔いの弱い方にはオススメしません。

Let's bring about $15 in cash per person. Most people rented wetsuits for an additional fee. For the photos, which cost around $50, I provided my credit card number over the phone after the tour to purchase them. They will send you a URL via email to view the photos on Dropbox.
The boat can be quite rocky, so be sure to bring motion sickness medication.
It's pretty strenuous, so I recommend going to bed early the night before. Choosing a dolphin tour without any extra activities was definitely the right decision.
It felt less like swimming with dolphins and more like spotting dolphins swimming below for a few seconds, but it was moving.

１人15ドルくらい現金を持っていきましょう。別途有料でのウエットスーツはほとんどの方が頼んでいました。別途有料(50ドルくらい)の写真はツアー後に電話口にて自身のクレカ番号を伝え購入しました。写真はドロップボックスで見れるＵＲＬをメールで送ってくれます。
船は結構揺れますし酔います。酔い止めを持っていきましょう。
結構ハードなので前日は早めの就寝がおすすめです。他に余計なアクテビィティの無いイルカ中学にして正解でした。
イルカと泳ぐというよりは真下に泳いでるイルカを数十秒発見するみたいな感じでしたが、感動しました。

The tour was a lot of fun, thanks to our guide Julie and the enthusiastic staff who really got everyone excited. The nearly hour-long drive to the port was filled with beautiful natural scenery, quite different from the city of Honolulu, and the enjoyable commentary made it feel like a true Hawaiian sightseeing experience!

But above all, the dolphins were amazing!! We got to see a pod of over 80 dolphins while snorkeling. I never expected to see such a large group, so I was absolutely thrilled.

After the dolphins, we saw a small turtle and many cute Hawaiian endemic yellow butterflyfish while snorkeling. On the way back to the port, we also spotted a few whales relatively close by.

Lastly, the hula lesson on the boat was a lot of fun. However, several people were feeling seasick, so I recommend that those who are not used to boats take some motion sickness medication (like Travelmin) in advance.

ガイドのジュリさんをはじめ、スタッフの方がノリノリでみんなを盛り上げてくれて楽しいツアーでした。港までの1時間近くの道中もホノルルの街とは異なり自然の魅力いっぱいの景色と楽しい解説でハワイ観光の気分いっぱいで良かったです！
でも何よりイルカがすごい！！　　８０頭以上の群れをシュノーケルで見れました。　　こんなにたくさんの群れが見れるとは思ってもいなかったので大感激でした。
イルカの後のシュノーケルでは小さい亀１匹とハワイ固有種の黄色いバタフライフィッシュ(かわいい)がたくさん見れました。
港に帰る途中ではクジラも数頭、比較的近くで見れました。
最後に船上でのフラレッスンも楽しかったです。
ただ船酔いをしている方が何人もいたので、船に慣れていない方は、事前に酔い止め薬(トラベルミン等)を飲んでおくことをお勧めします。

I was able to see the splash and fins, and just a glimpse of the back, but it was great that my child could see them up close once.

Before the watching began, the buffet started all at once, but there weren't enough seats for all the passengers, and since I had children with me, it was quite a hassle. After the meal, there was no rotation, and we had to sit for a long time until the watching started, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal at all. I wish they had ensured enough seating for the number of passengers.

The crew members were all kind and made us feel comfortable.

潮吹きやヒレ、背中が見えた程度でしたが、一度至近距離で子供も見ることができよかったです。
ウォッチング前にいっせいにブュッフェが始まりますが、乗客全員が座れる席がなく、しかも子連れだったので困りました。
食事が終わったら次々と回転することもなく、ウォッチングが始まるまでずっと座っているところもあり、全然ゆっくり食事ができませんでした。
乗客人数の座席を確保された状態にしてほしかったです。
クルーの方たちはみんな親切で気持ちよかったです。

First, regarding the whales, they appeared around the boat multiple times. The loud sound of "pshhuu!!" when they come up from the sea was incredible. I was thrilled to see them right in front of me. However, by the time I pressed the camera shutter, they were gone, making it quite difficult to capture a photo.

The atmosphere inside the boat was relaxed and had a luxurious feel. There were breads, hams to put in the bread, and vegetables. Other offerings included fruits and cookies. Drinks available were coffee and green tea. It was simple, but sufficient.

At the end of the tour, there was a sale of photos taken before boarding the boat and pictures of the whales we actually saw. Inside the boat, there was always live guitar performances. The song selection was good, and I really enjoyed it. I truly felt it was a worthwhile tour!

However, one downside was that the announcements when the whales appeared were made in English first, followed by Japanese. It can't be helped, but by the time the Japanese announcement was made, the whales were already gone.

まず目的のクジラですが、何度も船の周りに現れてくれました。
海の上にでてくるときの、プシュー！！という大きな音。
実際に目の前で見ることができて感激でした。
ただ、カメラのシャッターを押すころにはいなくなってしまって、
写真に撮るのは至難の業かと思われます。

船内もゆったりとした雰囲気でラグジュアリー感もありました。
パンや、パンにはさむハム類、野菜など。
他はフルーツ、クッキー。
飲み物はコーヒー、緑茶。
簡単ではありますが十分です。

ツアーの最後に、船に乗る前に撮った写真と、実際に見たくじらの写真の
販売があります。
船内は常に、ギターの弾き語りの生演奏つき。
選曲もよく、とても楽しめました。
参加してよかった！と心から思えるツアーでした。

ただひとつ難を挙げますと、クジラが出現したときのアナウンスが
英語で行われた後に日本語。仕方ないのですが・・。
日本語の案内が話されているときはすでにクジラはいません。

We participated in the limited-time family campaign with our family of four. We were able to see the whale's spout and tail while enjoying a relaxing time in the second-floor seats. It was a fun experience.

While our family was fine, some members of a nearby family were seasick and were taking medication, so I think it's a good idea to prepare for seasickness.

期間限定ファミリーキャンペーンにつられ、家族4人で参加しました。クジラの潮吹き、尾びれなどが見え、2階席でゆったり過ごしながら、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
私達家族は大丈夫でしたが、近くにいらしたご家族の何人かが船酔いをされ薬を飲んでいらしたので、船酔い対策はしておいた方が良いかと思います。

I saw a lot of whales. However, the time they are visible is short, and it's difficult to know where to spot them, so it's hard to take photos.

クジラが沢山見えました。ただ、見える時間が短くどこで見えるかわからないので、写真におさめるのは難しいです。

The morning cruise was wonderful, blessed with great weather. A rainbow appeared, the sky was beautiful, and it felt great just to see people doing yoga on the beach or taking a walk. Once we headed out, we saw whales swimming in the ocean everywhere.

These are completely wild whales, right? I felt like I was in the great outdoors and lost track of time. The boat rocked quite a bit, so I couldn't take photos myself, but there was someone on board with a high-performance camera with a telephoto lens who captured some amazing shots. Everyone got the data from that person and we excitedly talked as if we had taken the photos ourselves.

The cruise also included drinks and light snacks, making it a very satisfying experience.

朝のクルーズは、天気に恵まれて、素晴らしいものでした。虹が出て、空の景色は良いし、浜辺ではヨガをやる人達がいたり、散歩するだけでも気持ち良かったです。さて、沖へ出て、海を泳ぐクジラがあちこちに居ました。
これって、完全に野生の鯨ですよね。なんか、大自然の中にいるんだ！という感覚になって、時間を忘れました。けっこう船が揺れたので、自分では写真は撮れませんでしたが、同乗してた人の中にかなり高性能の望遠レンズ付きカメラを持ってた人が、素晴らしいショットを取っていて、みんなその人からデータを貰って、あたかも自分が撮ったみたいな話をして盛り上がりました。
飲み物や軽食も付いていて、とても満足なクルーズでした。

I couldn't participate in the tour I wanted to join, so I urgently signed up for this one, and it was pretty good. My friend and I joked, "Aren't we going to ride something like a North Korean boat?" but it turned out to be a luxurious ship where we could enjoy a buffet. During our time, they served hamburgers, and we could add vegetables, cheese, and meat as we liked. There were also cookies and fruit. It felt like a light meal, but since eating too much can cause seasickness, it might have been just right.

However, on the day we went (February 18), it was cloudy, then rainy, with strong winds and cold! Even when we took refuge inside the ship, the air conditioning was blasting, making it even colder. I would have appreciated it if they had offered jackets or blankets for rent.

We saw whales three times. I only saw the tail fin, but my friend, who was feeling seasick, said they saw a breach. We also witnessed a pod of dolphins jumping over the waves, which was breathtaking.

I’m glad I could go during the limited period for whale watching. However, it was really cold and uncomfortable, so I hope that can be improved. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

行きたかったツアーに参加できなくなり、至急申し込んだツアーですが、まあまあ良かったです。
同行した友人と「北〇鮮のボートみたいなのに乗るんじゃ？」と話していましたが、豪華な船で、バイキングも食べられました。私たちの時はハンバーガーで、野菜やチーズや肉を好きなように挟めました。あとはクッキーと果物。軽食と言った感じですが、あまり食べ過ぎると船酔いするので、ちょうどいいかもしれません。
しかし、行った日（2月18日）は曇りのち雨で風も強く寒かった！船内に避難するもクーラーガンガンで更に寒かったです。上着やひざ掛けの貸し出しがあれば嬉しかったです。
クジラは3回見られました。私は尾びれだけでしたが、船酔いでつぶれていた友人は、バックジャンプが見られたとのこと。また、イルカの群れが波の上をジャンプしているのも見られて感動しました。
ホエールウォッチングができる期間は限られているということで、この時期に行けて良かったです。
ただ、本当に寒くて不快だったので、それだけ改善していただければと思います。楽しい思い出をありがとうございました。

The whale watch cruise was a great afternoon experience. The catamaran used was in top shape. The tour was not over crowded and the crew took care of everyone's needs. Saw many whales and even some dolphins and sea turtles. Glad the afternoon weather was beautiful which made being out on the open water enjoyable. Definitely do this tour again.

We were very fortunate, we had a lovely sunny day and we saw 3 or 4 whales. The crew were very helpful.The buffet meal was of good variety, tasty food and people were able to return as many times as they wanted. With regard to the whales, as stated in the tour blurbs there are rules about how close the boat can get to the whales because of this and how fast they breach and disappear I would suggest putting the camera aside and fully enjoying the experience with your own eyes, which is quite a thrill.

The day after arriving in Hawaii, I participated in a tour. The boat was three stories high, with the second floor being an indoor area with snacks and sofas, and the third floor being an open area with just tables and chairs. Even though I boarded a bit late, there were relatively many seats available on the second floor, but the air conditioning was too strong, so I moved to the open area on the third floor. There was also coffee, tea, and water available for self-service.

After departing, we quickly moved to the points of interest, visiting several spots. At first, it took a while for anything to appear, and I thought it might be a disappointing day, but then I heard cheers from a group of foreigners and saw a spout and a tail! After that, the whales appeared several times, and all the passengers gathered on one side to take pictures. Eventually, it was time to return to the port.

I was able to see the beautiful blue ocean and whales for the first time, and personally, I was very satisfied with the tour!

While moving at high speed, the boat swayed quite a bit, so I recommend bringing motion sickness medication for those who are prone to seasickness. Also, the day I participated was mostly clear with hardly any clouds, but even so, the wind and air conditioning indoors made it a bit chilly, so having a light jacket that you can put on quickly would be a good idea.

ハワイに到着した日の次の日に参加しました。
船は３階建ての船で、2階は軽食やソファーが置いてある屋内タイプ、3階は机や椅子があるだけのオープンタイプの船でした。
乗船したのが遅めでも2階は比較的席が空いてましたが、空調が強すぎたんで3階のオープンタイプの階へ。
ここにもコーヒー、紅茶、お水は置いてあったんでセルフサービスでいただきました。
出航してしばらくはポイントまで高速で移動し、いくつかあるポイントを回る感じでした。
はじめはなかなか現れず、もしかしたらはずれの日かなぁって思っていたら、外国人グループの歓声とその方角を見ると潮吹きと尾びれが！！
その後もたびたび現れては乗客みんなが片側に集まってカメラを構えるのが何度か続き、時間になって港に戻りました。
綺麗な青い海と初めて鯨を見ることができ、個人的には大満足のツアーでした♪

高速移動中は船がかなり揺れるんで酔いやすい人は酔い止めを持参することをおすすめします。
あと参加した日は雲がほとんどない快晴でしたが、それでも移動中の風や空調のきいた屋内は肌寒いので、すぐにはおれる上着があるといいと思います。

On the first day, I couldn't see any whales and it was just a boat trip, but on the day I was able to go back for free, I got to see them up close. It was really moving.
Everyone around was foreign, and since Japanese wasn't understood, those who are not good at English might have a hard time with communication. The crew members were very polite.

最初の日はクジラに会えず、船旅だけでしたが無料で振り返えさせてした日はすぐに近くで見る事が出来ました。凄く感動しました。
周りは外国人ばかりで日本語は通じませんので、英語が苦手な方は振り返る連絡など苦労するかと思います。クルーの方は凄く丁寧です。

I participated in the encounter.
Good points:
The bus is large, so it's less likely to make you feel sick.
It's sufficient for elementary school lower grades.
You can feed the birds as much as you want.

Bad points:
Each guardian needs to be a separate adult, which is not suitable for families with many children. I was charged a change fee of 99 USD when I requested a change.
The tour price is high.
The facilities are old, and the food is not great. I should have brought my own.
The meeting time for the return was at 14:30, which was busy and tiring.

Result:
If I had been familiar with it, I could have arranged it differently.

小学生低学年には充分。
とりの餌やりはやり放題。

悪いところ
保護者が１人１人ずつ別々な大人が必要で子供が多い家族には不向き。変更を求められて変更手数料とかで99USDを取られました。
ツアー代金が高い。
施設が古く食事も大したことない。持参すればよかった。
帰りの集合時間が14:30で忙しくて疲れた。

結果
慣れていれば別な方法で手配すればよかった。

Thanks to the cheerful explanation from the staff, my morning drowsiness disappeared, and I was able to participate with excitement! I got to see dolphins, sea turtles, and whales, which was truly a wonderful experience. The beauty of the ocean, the beauty of the mountains, and the sight of the dolphins swimming were all moving. The captains were also very nice, and I felt it was the right decision to join this tour. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I will definitely want to participate!

お姉さんの元気な説明で、朝の眠気も吹き飛んでワクワクした気持ちで参加ができました！
イルカもウミガメもクジラも見ることができ、本当に素敵な体験ができました。
海の綺麗さ、山の綺麗さ、イルカたちの泳いでいる姿全てが感動でした。
船長さん達もとてもいい人で、このツアーに参加して正解だったと思いました。またハワイに行くことがあれば、必ず参加したいです！！

I didn't expect to see many whales, but I was able to see quite a few. When we arrived at the boat via the shuttle bus, there were already many guests on board, but we secured a table on the second floor and enjoyed some coffee as we set sail. After about an hour, we reached the area past Diamond Head, and just when I was about to give up on seeing any whales, we spotted one blowing water and showing its tail. We were able to see it about five or six more times. The outside deck was too crowded, but it was better inside the boat where there were fewer people, making it easy to see out of the windows on both sides. It was a sunny day, and the sun was reflecting off the water, so sunglasses were a must. When I asked the bus driver on the way back to drop me off at Ala Moana, he agreed.

クジラを見ることをあまり期待していませんでしたが、たくさん見ることができました。迎えのバスで船に着くと、船内には既に多くの先客がいましたが、２階のテーブルに席を確保し、コーヒーなどを飲んでいると出航しました。１時間ほどでダイヤモンドヘッドの先につきましたが、クジラが見当たらないのであきらめていたところ、潮を吹きながら、テールを見せるクジラを発見。その後も５-６回見ることができました。外のデッキは人が多くていけませんでいたが、船の中のほうが人が少なく、左右の窓から容易にみられるので、良かったです。当日は晴れて太陽が水面に反射していたのでサングラスは必須です。帰りのバスの運転手さんにアラモアナで降りたいとお願いしたらOKでした。

I signed up for Dolphin Aloha, and both my 10-year-old and 2-year-old sons had a great time. The site mentioned to bring sandals and towels, but they turned out to be unnecessary for this course (there are a few moments where you might get a little wet, but they inform you in advance).

Before the course, the staff checks both hands. My wife was a bit worried because she had nail art, but they checked one spot on each hand, and since there were few protrusions and it was coated, we received the OK after the check.

Cameras and phones are not allowed, so you can purchase photos taken by the staff later (optional). A passport is required for credit card use, but a photo of it was also acceptable.

The course was organized into a group of only Japanese participants, and the guidance was provided in Japanese, which made it easy to participate with peace of mind. During regular periods, about half of the participants are Japanese, and during busy periods, it's about 80%.

ドルフィンアロハを申し込みましたが、10歳及び2歳の息子、二人とも楽しんでいました。
サイトにはサンダルとタオル持参とかいてあったのですが、このコースでは結果的に不要でした（少し濡れる場面はありますが、事前に言っていただけます）
コース前には両手を係の方がチェックされます。妻がネイルアートをしていたので少し心配していたのですが、両手一カ所ずつで、突起も少なくコーティングもしてあったからか、チェックしていただいた上でOKをいただきました。
カメラ、携帯が使えないので、係の方が捕られた写真をあとで購入する形です（任意）クレジットカード利用時にはパスポートが必要ですが、写真でもOKでした。
コースは日本人だけのグループが作られて、日本語で案内が行われ、安心して参加できました。通常期で半分、繁忙期だと8割が日本人とのことです。
