You never get tired of seeing sandbar and Galapagos sharks in their natural environment. Third time out with OneOcean and second with safety diver Kayleigh. We even were treated to surfacing humpbacks on the way out! Look forward to my fourth dive!

I had a wonderful time on the cruise ship. Crab and steak are my favorite foods, but my most memorable experience was with my tour bus driver, Lola Tripp. She was an amazing woman, and her lively personality and insight into oahu made my trip worthwhile. I definitely recommend anyone who wants a good experience to apply for the Lola bus! Give five stars.

This was well worth it. It was a great trip, whales came right up to the boat to say hi. Great pictures even for amateur photographers.

We had a “whaley” good time! Two humpback whales swam around, under, and emerged out of the water right next to our boat, swimming around us for about 20 minutes! We were fortunate to have a prolonged close-up encounter, within feet of these beautiful creatures. A large group of dolphins also swam by, jumping in and out of the water! The views were outstanding and our guides were a lot of fun, informative and very friendly! (I even dropped my sunglasses in the ocean and one of our guides managed to grab them before they sank-above and beyond!) The drinks and appetizers were delicious, and to top it off there were beautiful rainbows along the coast as we sailed along the sea! Sea Maui Sunset Sail was wonderful and our FAVORITE thing we did in Maui!

Very nice time on the ship. Plenty of room to move around to see whales. Saw 8 whales on our trip. Lots of blows and flukes. I recommend this trip to anyone looking for a whale sighting. The boat was professionally staffed and the buffet was good.

At first, the children were happy to be on the boat, but perhaps due to bad luck, even though the weather was nice, we couldn't see anything. They provided trivia about whales over the intercom, but everyone around seemed a bit deflated since we didn't see anything. I'll just chalk it up to bad luck.

最初は船に乗れて子供も喜んでいましたが、運が悪かったのかて天気も良かったけれども何も見れませんでした。クジラのトリビアなどを船内放送で教えてくれるのですが、何も見れなかった事に対して周りもしらけ気味。運が悪かったと思っておきます

This was one for the books for my wife, and I. You need to know how to swim and snorkel. The Manta Rays were swimming all around us eating the plankton, it was very active during the 45 mins. One went inverted and swam about 1" from our chests. We recorded the footage with a GoPro! This is a bucket list adventure. I would recommend this to anyone!

(I fully understand that we are dealing with wild animals.)
Unfortunately, it seemed like the dolphins were on strike that day, as we cruised for over two hours without encountering a single one.
The spotted dolphin we finally managed to find swam by so quickly that it was gone in an instant.
Perhaps because we spent so much time searching for dolphins, our snorkeling with Professor Honu lasted only about 20 minutes.
I went to the office later to pick up my graduation souvenir, but since some people might be leaving the next day, it would be appreciated if it could be given to participants at that time.
The spam rice ball was delicious.

この日はあいにくイルカ先生のストライキのようで、2時間以上クルージングしたと思いますが1頭も出会えませんでした。
やっとのことで探せたマダライルカは、泳ぐスピードが速すぎて一瞬で過ぎ去りました。
ドルフィン探しに時間を費やしたためか、ホヌ教授とのシュノーケリングは20分程度でした。
後日オフィスに卒業記念品を受け取りに行きましたが、翌日が帰国日という人もいると思いますので、参加した時に頂ける方がありがたいです。
スパムおむすびは美味しかったです。

Sunken ships have become artificial reefs, and there were a lot of fish. Unfortunately, it was disappointing that the colors were not visible, possibly due to the lack of light. I saw a turtle, and before getting on the submarine, I was able to see a whale.

沈没船などが漁礁になって、魚が沢山いました。残念ながら光があまり届かないせいか、カラーで見えないのが残念でした。カメがいました、潜水艦に乗るまでにクジラが見れました。

Ocean was beyond amazing! This was like a dream come true. Ocean taught us about sharks and their environment and behaviors. She taught us ocean conservation and shark conservation. The tides we a bit tough so highly advise being mentally prepared and physically prepared. Overall amazing experience. I can’t wait for my next trip to Oahu and do this again. The best experience ever. I hold such a special place in my heart for the ocean and seeing how special of a place it holds to ocean is heartwarming and amazing. This experience brings such joy to my soul. Amazing.

At first, I was disappointed because I couldn't see any whales on the day I had reserved, but I was able to get another boarding ticket. And on the second try! I saw them! I was really lucky since I had a free day! After we spotted the whales, the captain quickly moved to a spot where we could see them well, which made it very easy to view! I was so moved! Thank you! Since it was a large cruise ship, I didn't experience any seasickness. By the way, the shuttle bus fee of $15 is self-funded. We used THEBUS.

最初、予約していた日には鯨は見れず落胆していましたが、再度乗船チケットを発券してもらいました。で、２回目！見れました！予定が無い日があったので本当にラッキーでした！鯨発見後は、キャプテンが鯨がよく見えるスポットに素早く移動していただいたいおかげで、とても見やすかったです！感動しました！ありがとうございましたら！大型客船の為、船酔いも無しでした。因みに送迎バス代15ドルは自己負担です。私達はTHEBUS利用しました。

This time, we participated in a family trip with my 84-year-old mother-in-law, my 78-year-old aunt, my wife, and my daughter. The weather was perfect, and the view of Diamond Head from the sea was amazing. Additionally, the lei-making and hula dance lessons were a great memory, as both my mother-in-law and aunt are experienced and were very happy. We were also moved to encounter the main attraction, the whales. The boat was large, and the crew was wonderful, making for a great experience. Thank you to all the crew members.

今回は84歳の義理母、78歳の叔母、妻と娘の5人での親孝行旅行で、ツアーに参加しました。
天気も最高で、海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドの景色は最高でした。
また、レイ作りやフラダンスレッスンは、母も叔母も経験者なので良い思い出になったと大喜びでした。
メインの鯨とも遭遇できて感動しました。
船も大きくクルーも素敵な方ばかりで、いい気持ちでした。
クルーの皆様有難うございました。

I was able to see the backs and tails of whales from quite a distance several times, but I was hoping to see them up close, so I felt a bit disappointed, which led to this rating. Around mid to late March seems to be the end of the season, so it might be that there are many instances where you can't see them.

かなり遠くにクジラの背中や尾ひれを何回か見ることが出来ましたが、もっと近くでクジラを見られることを期待してしまっていましたので、ちょっと残念な気持ちになってしまい、このような評価となりました。3月中旬-下旬あたりは時期的にもう終盤のようですので、見れないことも多いかもしれません。

After the first day of the Star Cruise in Hawaii, on the second day, we went whale watching on the Majestic. The boat is smaller than the Star Cruise, but because there were fewer people and it was smaller, moving around was smooth when whales appeared on the right or left. The staff's service was average, but they were very friendly.

We had a shuttle from the hotel, but since it was close to Kaka'ako, after the tour, we used Uber instead of taking the bus for a smooth transition and explored the art scene. This is an event I would like to attend again when I come back to Hawaii.

ハワイで1日目のスタークルーズに続き、2日目はマジェスティック号でのホエールウオッチングに行きました。
スタークルーズより船は小ぶりですが、クジラが右に見えたり左な見えたりする時、人が少ないのと小さいことで、移動がスムーズでした。
スタッフの対応も普通といえば普通ですが、とてもフレンドリー。
ホテルからの送迎でしたが、カカアコにも近いので、終わった後はバスに乗らず、Uberを使いスムーズに移動し、アートの散策をして来ました。
また、ハワイに来た時に伺いたいイベントです。

As the only Japanese participant who didn't understand English that day, I approached the experience with a spirit of challenge. I was given a brochure with clear explanations in Japanese about the ship and the whales. While the staff were attentive with drinks and other services, I felt that there was a slight lack of effort in helping customers spot the whales. I was able to see a few jumps and blows faintly, but I thought the price for this activity was too high, even considering the cost of living.

この日の日本人参加者が、英語の分からない自分1人だったこともあり、どうなる事か…と、チャレンジ精神で臨みました。日本語で分かりやすく記載されている船内やクジラの説明のリーフレットを渡されました。係員の方々は、飲み物など、気を配ってくださいましたけれど、肝心なクジラをお客様に探して見てもらおうといった姿勢が若干欠けていたと感じました。
ジャンプやブローは何回かうっすらと見れましたが、このアクティビティ料金では（物価が高いとは言え）高すぎると思いました。

I participated in the early morning plan because the price was a bit cheaper and I wanted to make effective use of my time. It was great that the public parking in Lahaina was available at that time.

Even if you don't understand English, it's fine since you're just there to see the whales. It was easy to understand when everyone pointed at the spouts. You can see spouts here and there. I didn't see any big jumps, but I did see tails and fins.

I checked in 30 minutes early, but I had to wait about an hour before boarding. We departed about 30 minutes later than scheduled, so I think the subsequent departure times were also delayed.

I brought a jacket, but the weather was relatively nice, and it wasn't cold even in short sleeves.

料金が少し安いのと時間を有効に使いたかったので、早朝プランに参加しました。この時間だとラハイナの公共駐車場も空いていたので良かったです。
英語が分からなくてもクジラを見るだけなので大丈夫です。潮吹きなど皆が指を差すので分かりやすかったです。あちらこちらで潮吹きは見られます。大ジャンプは見られなかったですが、尾やヒレは見れました。
30分前にチェックインでしたが、乗船するまで1時間程待たされました。予定の出航時間より30分ほど遅れたので、以降の出航時刻もずれ込んだと思います。
上着は持参しましたが、比較的天気も良く半袖でも寒くなかったです。

We saw so many whales and the crew was fabulous! We will do this again.

I saw a whale flapping its tail right in front of me. I was satisfied because I got to see it up close multiple times. Along the way, I also encountered a pod of dolphins. The explanations were in English, but I was able to understand most of it.

目の前でクジラがしっぽをバタバタ。
何度も近くで見れたので、満足です。
途中、いるかの群れにも会いました。
説明は、英語でしだが、大体は、理解できました。

It was a wonderful experience swimming with dolphins and turtles, and even meeting a whale, which will remain a memorable moment! The ride to the port was also very enjoyable, as the guide kept us entertained with interesting stories and great storytelling skills!

イルカと亀と泳げて、クジラにも会えとても思い出に残る素敵な体験でした！
港に向かう車内も、ガイドの方が思わず聞いてしまうお話しと話術で盛り上げてくださりとても楽しかったです！

I was unsure of the meeting place and, despite not understanding English, I called and was guided until I arrived.

Although they didn't speak Japanese, their sincere assistance made it a pleasant experience to board, and I am truly grateful.

The boat was beautiful, and the crew was kind; I’m glad I chose the Honi Olani.

Whales...
It was an afternoon plan.
About ten minutes after departure, we saw a whale breaching, and after that, we spotted several blows, with a baby whale coming to play right next to the boat.
It was a unique experience thanks to the catamaran with a deck.

Seeing whales in nature is truly moving!

集合場所がわからず、英語がわからないながらも電話した所、つくまで誘導していただきました。
日本語は通じ無いですが、対応に誠意があり気持ちよく乗船することができ感謝しかないです。

船もキレイでクルーの方も親切でホニ・オラニ号にしてよかったです。

クジラ・・・
午後プランでした。
出向して10分くらいでクジラのブリーチング、その後は何頭ものブローが見え、子クジラが船の直ぐ横に遊びにきてくれました。
デッキ付きのカタマラン船ならではの体験でした。

自然の中で見るクジラの姿に感動します！

The tour started at 3 PM. There is a restaurant next to the meeting place for the tour on the beach at Hilton Hawaiian Village, so we took our time having lunch there before joining the tour.

I had some concerns because I heard there was bad weather until the day before, and it was an afternoon tour, but those worries were unnecessary as we were able to see a lot of fish.

午後3時からのツアーでした。
ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジのビーチ内、ツアー集合場所横にレストランがあるので、そこでゆっくり昼食をとってから参加しました。

前日まで荒天だったと聞くし、午後のツアーだし、と少し心配していましたが、そんな心配は無用で、たくさんの魚たちに会うことができました。

Shortly after setting sail, we were able to see two shadows, and the journey continued alongside a mother and her calf. It was a tour where we shared the excitement with the crew while watching their backs, dorsal fins, and occasionally seeing them spout water.

The crew and captain's announcements were in English, but perhaps because there were many Japanese participants, they used simple words. We were also able to view specimens of vertebrae and some simple research materials, and they provided explanations while we looked at them.

Although the weather in the Waikiki area was unfortunate, we were not caught in the rain while at sea and were able to enjoy a relaxing time while watching a beautiful rainbow.

出航してまもなく、２つの影を見ることができ、そのまま親子二頭に付き添う航海でした。
背中、尾びれ、たまに潮吹きを見守りながらクルーさんと感動を分かち合う、そんなツアーでした。

クルー、船長さんのアナウンスは英語ですが、日本人の多いツアーだからか、簡単な単語を使ってくれます。
背骨の標本や、簡単な研究資料なども閲覧可能で、見ていると説明もしてくださいました。

ワイキキエリアはあいにくのお天気でしたが、海上で雨に降られることもなく、綺麗な虹を見ながらのんびりした時間を過ごすことができました。

I participated based on the information that whales are still migrating in March. But in the end, it was just a brief glimpse of something far away, and I couldn't tell if it was really a whale or not. We weren't given any re-boarding tickets either. Hmm, is this how it usually is...? I've heard rumors that they haven't been seen at all for the past two weeks. I wish they had canceled it then... The wind was also too strong, and it wasn't pleasant at all. I won't be doing this again!

3月は鯨がまだ回遊しているという情報をもとに参加。　でも結局ほんとに遠くにチラッと見えたか見えないかで終了。　再乗船券も配られず。う〜ん　こんなもんなんですかねぇ〜。。。　風の噂にここ２週間ぐらい全然見えないと言う事。　なら中止して欲しかった。。。　風もあまりに強く気持ちよかったわけでもなく。　再度はないですね！

The children participated. My youngest daughter, who is 8 years old, later said it was an event to take pictures with dolphins. It certainly seemed like a photo session; they did swim with the dolphins, but after swimming about 5 meters just for the sake of taking pictures, it was over. It felt more like an event just to press the shutter...

However, the photos turned out very well and became a great keepsake.

I think how close you can see them depends on luck. However, there are plenty of whales, so there are many chances to see them. They show various movements and are quite adorable. Even if I couldn't understand much of the guide's explanations during the English tour, just being able to see the whales was exciting enough, so I had a great time.

Depending on the sea conditions, the wind out at sea can be strong, and it was quite cold while watching the whales from the deck. I'm glad I brought my down jacket from Japan! Next time, I want to see them even closer.

どのぐらい近くで見られるかは時の運かと思います。しかしクジラはたくさんいるのでかなりの数のチャンスはあります。そしていろいろな動きを見せてくれて可愛いです。英語ツアーであまりガイドの説明は分からなくてもクジラに会えるだけでかなり興奮するので問題なく楽しめました。
海の状況にもよりますが沖の風は強く、それでも甲板にてクジラを見続けたかたのでかなり寒かったですが、日本から持って行ったダウンジャケットを持っていて正解でした！次はもっともっと近くで見たいと思いました。

Overall, it was a fun experience, the weather was great, and all the staff were nice. The photographer was very enthusiastic and took a lot of photos, which made me happy. However, I had thought that we would be able to dive and swim alongside the dolphins as shown in the tour photos. I was told on the bus heading to the boat that we should not dive when we see the dolphins and should only look at them with our faces in the water. This was a bit different from what I had imagined.

I did get to see the dolphins, and I understand that it’s a good rule to avoid stressing them out, but I wish that this was explained in more detail in the tour description.

全体的に楽しく、天気にも恵まれ、スタッフの方も皆さんいい人でカメラマンさんもテンション高くいっぱい写真撮ってくれて嬉しかったです。
ただ、このツアーの写真で乗っているように潜って並んで泳げると思っていたので、船に向かうバスの中でイルカを見るときは潜らないでください。顔をつけて見るだけにしてください。と言われて想像と少し違いました。
イルカも見れたし、イルカにストレスを与えないためとの事なので良いルールだと思いますが、ツアーの説明のところに詳しくそのように書いて欲しかったです。

The guides were amazing! So enthusiastic and wonderful with our 6 year old son. Full of so much knowledge about the mantas! We saw 3 manta rays, one of them swam right up so close it grazed my foot. Amazing, once in a lifetime bucket list for sure!! Really recommend this company!!

The meeting time was 7:30, but we were actually called to the boat around 8:00. I guess it's the laid-back Thai time… I was a bit disappointed since I woke up quite early.

The meeting place is very hard to find; it's the building on the beach adjacent to the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort. It feels more like a makeshift hut than a beach house.

The weather was great on the day, and we were able to see whales about 12 times. My mother, who joined me, seemed very satisfied! However, it was quite cold, so having a windbreaker or something similar would be a good idea.

The explanations were only in English, and there were no brochures or anything. They will say, "Look in the direction of the time!" in English, so please make sure to look quickly in that direction!!

When getting off the boat, you will get wet up to your knees, so I definitely recommend participating in a skirt or pants that can be rolled up!

7:30集合でしたが、実際に船に呼ばれたのは8:00〜でした。
南国タイムなのでしょうか…だいぶ早起きしたので、少し残念に思いました。

集合場所がとてもわかりづらいですが、ワイコロアビーチマリオットリゾートホテルに隣接しているビーチの建物です。
海の家というよりは、掘建て小屋のような感じです。

当日は天気も良く、12回ほど鯨を見ることができ、一緒に参加した母も大満足の様子でした！
なお、とても寒かったので、ウインドブレーカーなどあった方が良さそうです。

説明は英語のみで、特にパンフレットなどはありませんでした。
「○時の方向を見て！」と英語で言われるので、迅速にその方向を見てください！！

下船時、膝まで濡れますので必ずスカートやまくり上げられるパンツでの参加をオススメします！

Professional and friendly customer service and crew. Amazing experience and terrific option for anyone that wants to see life under the sea without having to do all the work of snorkeling or scuba diving. :)

The ride was very calm and nice weather. The whales consisted of a baby and its mother which we only saw once. We were in only 45 foot deep water. That is not deep enough for the whales. It was a bust.
