There is a regulation that prohibits approaching whales, so the boat does not get close to them. Therefore, it is not possible to take photos from a close distance like those on the explanation page. On the cruise departing from West Oahu at 1:30 PM, our family was the only Japanese participants. The crew only spoke English.

お迎えの車中ではガイドさんがエリアや観光についてたくさん話して下さり、移動も楽しかったです。
船では美味しいオリジナルケーキとコーヒーが出港前に食べられるので、朝ごはん代わりになりました。オリジナルのパイナップルバナナケーキはしっとりしてて美味しかったです。
ホエールウォッチングの最中は時計の方向でクジラがどこにいるかを教えてくれるので殆どの確率で何度かクジラを見ることが出来ます。
クジラだけではなくウミガメも近くで見ることが出来たのでとても幸運でした！
そして船上からの景色も素晴らしく、ダイヤモンドヘッドや水平線の美しさに感動しました。

I took TheBus to the meeting point. It was $7 round trip (since it's $7 for unlimited rides in a day). What we signed up for was a nice sunset cruise, and that was wonderful with drinks and food. What was the added bonus was up close and intimate whale watching! Such an incredible time!

総じて、子連れで楽しめるアクティビティだったと思います！

We had a fun time and would book with this group again. Only thing that would make it better is if we would have gotten to see some whales.
My first booking was cancelled at very last minute. The captain only told me when I got to the pier - 2hours round trips was wasted for nothing without early notice.
I booked second one which was rescheduled twice, eventually it made through and my daughter loves it.
The water is bit cold in the first place but bearable and we stayed in water for 40mins or longer as we were the last group.
On the way back, we saw the whales - what a bonus!!

On the way to the manta snorkeling point, while riding the boat and enjoying the beautiful sunset, we were able to see two whales and many sharks. I heard that sharks can only be seen about twice a year.
During snorkeling, the large mantas came so close that it felt like they were almost going to bump into us, which was very impressive!
The staff were all very kind, and having a Japanese guide on board made us feel secure. After the tour, they even sent us the videos taken with the GoPro for free. I highly recommend this tour!
