Ocean Spirit Sunset Cruise with Appetizers & Seasonal Whale Watching Experience

The Ocean Spirit experience was fantastic. The crew was attentive, the and drinks were tasty and the musical entertainment was pleasant and informative about the islands and history of the people. And the sunset was epic!! It was truly a great way to cap off our visit with friends.

Turtles, Mai Tais, Catamaran ride, perfect outing

This was such a great tour! The catamaran ride is fun, the crew were professional and friendly, the snorkeling spot was perfect. All equipment was provided as well as instructions on where to snorkel and where to safely stay in view of the spotters. Saw 5 turtles hangin out on the reef and multiple schools of fish. Just off shore of Waikiki beach yet in open water 40ft deep. Great water clarity and lots of marine life to look at. On the ride back Mai Tais, beer or water are available and the captain rocked some reggae for the ride back to shore. Would definitely do this one again. Be sure to generously tip the crew they deserve it!

Great snorkel trip

We were a party of 7 (4 adults 3 kids) and all of us had a great time. They were on time and the crew was fantastic. They explained safety rules with a bit of humor and made it fun. They swam with us and guided us and pointed out fishes and turtles for us to see. Equipment was acceptable. We had our own snorkel gear, we only borrowed their life vests.

Ocean Encounters Manta Ray Snorkel Tour - Sunset & Moonlight Cruise from Kona
Only saw a few manta, waited too long in the water before sunset, family all got too cold to enjoy the experience.

Nice people running the boat, but there were SO many boats out there, and other boats had bigger/brighter lights - so they were all "oo-ing" over manta at their sites, and we were on the outskirts, only saw a handful flying by. No barrel rolls under us.
The worst part is you have to take such a long boatride to get out there, and we had to then get into the water and line up on a raft thing waiting at least 10 minutes in the cold water just waiting for sunset to get dark. We could've at least waited until closer to when out it was dark and the rays would come.
Plus my son and I also got seasick, since the waves were so bad - and it wasn't even the ocean that caused it, it was the motion of all the boats coming in. At least 10 other boats out there, figthing to see the manta.
Would definitely not do it again, for the torture in the process.

Staff was very helpful especially with one in our party who just rode along and needed assistance getting on and off boat. Boat was a little crowded but staff very efficient at getting everyone into water. Manta rays swam just beneath us and seemed close enough to touch!

I had a great time! They were very Professional knowledgeable. They were very helpful and they showed us the sharks and they also caught fish. They also were very sanitary and explained everything really well. I had Jax and his coworker who took us on a tour and they were excellent. Would recommend going on for sure!

This was such a great excursion for my parents and I. It was beginner friendly and the crew is super nice, informative, and welcoming! The turtles were awesome to see up close and the drinks (!!) were a great bonus. Would definitely recommend them to any visitors who haven't gotten a chance to see the wildlife of the island.

The crew was friendly and helpful. Safety was clearly outlined. We saw lots of fish and two turtles. The kids (Ages 13 and 16) enjoyed jumping from the second deck, the water slide and the SUP boards. Would recommend for families with kids.

Sunset Cruise on the Sea Maui was just great. Crew was welcoming and took care of everyone. Drinks were plentiful and food was delicious. One of our group was a tad seasick, and crew tended to her and had tricks to make her feel better. Sunset was beautiful and champagne with chocolate strawberries was perfect!

Lanai Snorkel Tour & Dolphin Watch Cruise with Lunch - PacWhale Eco Adventures
Snorkeling was good...ride and time on boat was not good.

Snorkeling was good. However, I felt like we spent more time on the boat than in the water. There was also a lot of information giving on the way to Lanai. However, I don't understand the need to keep everyone on the boat and do another 30 minute talk on the mic while we're all dying in the sun waiting to get in the water. Then we're excused to go in the water and another 30 minutes or more go by before you can get in the water because everyone is now in line to put their gear on and get in. It's very time consuming.
The 30 minutes of talking on the mic once we're docked was a bit much and over the top.
I don't feel the customer or their interests were a priority.

I think I came to Hawaii for this. This made me like Hawaii! The first thing I did after iClouding every video of dolphins was buying a shirts that says i love hawaii. I saw so many dolphins and knew that they are much more adorable than i have thought of. They are very curious that they circle around humans, and come really close to boat.

We loved the whole experience of learning about Lanai, getting to see a pod of spinner dolphins, snorkeling in two locations (one that had a bunch of sea turtles), and getting great service with food and beverages throughout! Captain Kiwi and Alison were great- entertained us, taught us things, and made sure we had fun while being safe!

Awesome experience! The crew were all knowledgeable and helpful, and they made everything so seamless! We even saw sea turtles and were able to spend some extra time snorkeling around them! Only con is that the location may be hard to find. They're located at the very back of the parking lot, and check in is on the actual boat along the deck. Would 100% recommend!

Waikiki Sea Turtle Snorkel Tour with One Drink | 2-Hour Morning Adventure aboard Moana Catamaran

I booked this snorkeling tour for our group of 21 months in advance. A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.

Had a fantastic time on this Shark Tour. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to spend time with.
You will definitely see and experience sharks up close and personal.
Make sure you bring towels and water. Although the fee states water is included, we did not receive any.
I highly recommend this tour!
