【冬季限定】ホエールウオッチングクルーズ ＜2時間／ラハイナ港発／英語ガイド＞ byエクスプローラー 1号、2号

12月シーズン始まってすぐでしたので見れるか不安でしたが、当日の朝ホテルの部屋から海を見ていると。遠くに潮吹きが見えました。
これは今日はラッキーかもと期待しての乗船。最初は遠くで潮を吹いている様子でしたが、右舷、左舷どちら側でもクジラを見ることができました。
ブリーチは一度だけ、突然だったので写真におさめることはできませんでしたが、感動ものです・
後半は、船を移動して子どもくじらを見せてくれました。
乗客は、欧米人のみ。東洋人は、当方2人でした。英語はさっぱりですが、なん小さい船にのりたかったので選びました。
小回りがきく船ですので、おもしろかったです。小さなお子さんは危ないかも。
ただ、チェックインの際、受付の女性の態度がいまいちでした。
バウチャーには、しっかり時間、名前、そして受付小屋の番号も記載されているのに、「ここと違う。三つむこうの小屋へ」とバウチャーを返され、その三つむこうの小屋の受付のおじさんに、バウチャーを見せると、ここではないよと親切に言ってくれ、しかもいっしょに最初の小屋についてきてくれました。
その人にこれはここと言われても、女性の態度は横柄で、にこりともせず、乗船番号札をわたしてくれました。
英語圏の客でないのが気にくわないのか、残念な態度でした。
そして、もうひとつ、下船の際、クルーの女性が、他の乗客に笑顔で握手していたので、主人が感謝の言葉を言いながら手をさしだすとひっこめられました。
ハワイ島では感じなかったのですが、マウイ島では、この時以外にも日本人に対してきびしいかな
と思った経験がありました。

We booked the catamaran for our family and friends as a post wedding celebration. Now that I think about it, I’m surprised we all woke up to get on the boat!
Everything about this excursion was perfect! The captain and crew were friendly and swam in the water with us to help spot sea life. We ended up seeing a giant turtle and a lot of fish. I liked that they let us decide whether we wanted to snorkel more or spend more time at the sand bar more. We were allowed to bring our own food/drink (non alcoholic) and they brought us water and some snacks as well. I thought that we’d need more time out on the water as the time frame seemed short but it ended up feeling like just enough time. We had children, ages ranging from 7months to 7years and they had a blast. The only bummer was that the 7month old counted as a seat. But the company explained it was due to coast guard regulations.
I would recommend this experience to anyone!

まずピックアップは15分遅れ。待ちきれず電話しようとしたところでやっと到着、もちろん謝罪はない。つぎに船に乗る際人がいっぱいで、座るところが全くない。私たち６人のグループだけが行きも帰りも立ったまま。スタッフは我々が座れず立っているのに全く無視。ゆれて立っているのが大変なため船の手すりに捕まろうとデッキの方へ行こうとしたらダメと言われ、仕方なく立っていた。その1分後に外人がデッキへ行こうとしたらスタッフは何も言わず。なので我々もデッキへ移動。妻の親が参加しており老人で足腰弱いんだから、座る場所もないのに予約を受けるなんて最悪と思います。我々がスタッフに見えているにもかかわらず、なんの対応もせずデッキにすら行かせるのを邪魔して一体なんなんだと思います。しかも帰りの送りの際もなんの説明もなく、いったいどの車に乗ればいいのかさっぱりわからなかった。途中他の客の求めでコースを変えて降ろしていたし、何故か新たに客を乗せ出しているしいつになったら我々を送ってくれるんだとやきもきしました。途中シャラトンのそばでなんの説明もなくずっと停車しいつまで待っても出発しそうにない為、仕方なく我々は降車し買い物にでかけました。本当に最悪でした。二度とこの会社のツアーは利用しません。

Right from the get go we knew we'd picked the best . Check-in was a breeze with happy to see us staff. Captain was great and made us feel at ease going out on the deep. The cat was neat clean tidy an the crew were constantly making sure we had wont for nothing. Beautiful sights of porpoises whales and turtles. Weather kept us away from Napali coast but it was still a great adventure. Moholo Holo Holo.

クジラも観れたし、日本語を話せるメンズスタッフもすごくフレンドリーでよかった。

ピックアップの時間が若干、レギュレーションにある「待ち合わせ時間に１０分以上経過した場合は事務所に電話をしろ」という時間を超えていたので、どうしたもんかと思ったところ、陽気なにーちゃんとカラフルなバンが登場。１５分程度でハーバーに到着。
「クジラが見えなくても、船が沈没したり、ナンパして、死んでも、おれんところは補償しないし、免責だぜ、」ということを理解しました、という内容にサインしてから乗船。
船は清潔で、広々としてる。さらに日本語を上手に操るスタッフのメンズがいて、今後の流れへの不安は払拭。とてもフレンドリー。
お酒やソフトドリンクも飲み放題。トイレも二つ備え付けなので、心配なし。
ただ、波は穏やかでも、船はそれなりに揺れるので、乗り物酔いする人は200％酔うので、酔い止めを飲んでも効かないレベルだと思うので、諦めた方がいいかもしれない。
外洋まで行く、往路ではクジラの潮吹きを見つけられなかったので、半ば諦めつつも、ビール片手に、ワイキキの外洋を、上空をかすめる、旅客機を見ながらのクルージングは、それはそれで、バカンス感もあり、コンテンツとしても良いかなと思っていた、往路で、クジラの潮吹きを発見。
甲板が一斉に盛り上がる。その後、運良く、複数のクジラが営業ダイビングや、営業潮吹きをしてくれて、盛り上がる。
大変楽しいツアーコンテンツだったと評せる。
船酔いをしない、クジラが見れなくてもクルージングだと思って楽しめる人にはオススメしたい。
クジラが観れたら、それは、ツイてた、ということで。

Maitai Catamaran Waikiki Private Boat Charter
Best Office Holiday Party Ever!

We chartered a catamaran for our office holiday party, and it was the perfect relaxing, fun, and unusual activity for a wonderful time! The two men who captained the boat and tended the bar did a wonderful job! We enjoyed the beauty of being out on the water with excellent beverage service (great maitais!) and nice waves splashing the kids who sat on the net. We would recommend it highly not just for office parties, but for any group. It's a wonderful icebreaker or memory maker activity! We have a lot of diversity of personalities in our office, but everyone had a great time!

天気は快晴、とてもきれいな海、野生のイルカにもたくさん会え、貴重な経験だった。ただ、ボート操縦の船長は、一人で何役もやるので大変なこともあり、我々が英語がわからないと思ったのか会話も説明もほとんどなく、例えばいきなりシュノーケルを渡され飛び込めと言われて困った。他のツアーの動きを見て、イルカはあの辺にいるんだと参加者が判断して動かないといけなかった。サービス精神に欠ける人だったのが残念だが、ツアー自体は満足した。
この度は、ツアーにご参加いただき誠にありがとうございます。
しかしながら、ご満足いただけるツアーとなりませんでしたこと、心よりお詫び申し上げます。
別途メールでもご連絡をさせていただきました通り、いただいたご意見は催行会社にそのまま申し伝えました。
担当させていただいた船長と話し合いを設け、今後はツアーを皆様に十分にお楽しみいただけるよう、

シダの洞窟ウエディングの前日、時間つぶしで家内と参加！大満足でした。

レンタカーでワイルアから出発ツリートンネル～ハナペペ渓谷～オールドコロアタウン～など観光、途中昼食、４時間くらいでとポートアレン。
集合場所のホロホロチャーターズの事務所前にカウアイチョコレートのショップあり！試食で大感激（笑）。１：００PMについて待ってると新婚のカップルなどなど集合してきました。
クルーザーのキャプテンや女性クルーも気さくで親切。もちろんナパリコーストの景観は素晴らしく。１１月雨季とのことで雨が降ったがすぐ止みおかげできれいな虹がホールサイズで見ることができました。イルカの歓迎にも遭遇！もちろんサンセットはまたとない写真が撮れました。
かなり揺れます。ほとんどの人は平気ですが船酔い心配なかたは酔い止め薬を。
絶対オススメです。飲み物はビール、ワイン、など飲み放題なのでご注意を。

迫力満点！

主人と参加しました。
参加者は40名前後いましたが、
日本人は私たちのみでした。
日本語はスタッフに通じませんが
死活問題ではないです。ある程度日常会話レベル英語が話せればなお良し。
ナ・パリ・コーストへ行く途中、シュノーケリングを出来るポイントがあります。
運が良ければタートルやイルカと一緒に泳げます。
貴重な経験です◉
ナ・パリ・コーストの絶景は目に焼き付きます！
船のスピードもそこそこ出るので船酔いに注意です。
ちなみに前日の仕事疲れと睡眠不足で私自身船酔いしました。

ちょっとだけ船に乗っている時間が長すぎる

7時間船に乗っているがそのほとんどが高速の移動時間のため、やや飽きる。その場合には一緒に乗っている他の20名以上のお客さんと楽しく会話できるかがポイントか。スタッフはとてもフレンドリー、いるかも見れる、シュノーケリングもできる、昼のサンドイッチも自分で作るのが楽しく全体としては楽しめました。

ナパリコーストに近づくにつれ波も高くなり、デッキにいるとその揺れと水しぶきをダイレクトにかんじました。スタッフの気配りとサービスも良く、1人で撮れないシーンも写真を撮ってくれてうれしかったです。食事も美味しくて満足でした。

Kealakekua Bay Snorkel & Dolphin Watch Rafting Tour - Kona Ocean Experience

Absolutely amazing experience! Swam with so many dolphins; loved every moment. We were the only ones booked on to the boat so we literally had our own private tour! Our guide was lovely and gave us great information and stories about the island. We also got lots of time to snorkel and even saw two white tip reef sharks! Would definitely recommend this tour!

やっぱり絶景！

行きと帰りで、崖の近くも遠くも通ったので、山肌も遠景も楽しめました。
水のきれいな海で快適な航海です。エンジン走行中は、前のデッキでいろんな国の人と海水でびしょ濡れになって大はしゃぎしました。
日本人は私たちだけだったのですが、同行者が英語をよくわかっていないことをクルーが察してくれて、特に気遣ってくれたのが嬉しかったです。

なぜか予定の時間よりかなり早く終了してしまったことがちょっと気になりました、イルカがいっぱいいて、一緒に泳げて参加してよかったです。
ゆみーさん わざわざお時間を割いてレビューを書いていただき、誠にありがとうございます。８月はどこのツアー会社さんにとてもハイシーズンで、ゆみーさんが参加してくださいました8/15もそのハイシーズンの季節でありました。ケアウホウ湾にはボートランプが二つのみで、そのランプを他社と弊社が共有しております。皆さん12時頃にボートランプに戻ってきますので、時には30分ほど待つこともあります。そこでゆみーさんたちお客様を待たせてしまっては申し訳ないので、ゆみーさんのツアーを担当させていただきましたボートキャプテンが少し早めにケアウホウ湾に戻ってきたのだと思います。残念な思いをさせてしまったとしたら、申し訳ありませんでした。イルカと一緒に泳げたとのこと。それは良かったです。「参加してよかったです」と言っていただき、光栄です。

アメリカンな体験ができました

船着き場で靴を脱いで裸足で船に乗り込みます。ほとんどが欧米人で日本人を含むアジア系は1割程度でしょうか、クルーは英語オンリーでしたがフレンドリーな感じで好感が持てました。出発してしばらくするとドリンクとオードブルがでます。その後はタコスを含む料理が楽しめます。結構揺れますので水着で乗った方がいいと思います。

とても良い経験になりました！

イルカと泳げるアクティビティがあると知り現地に到着してから予約しました。
乗船したのは3組6名。女性の船長さんはとても明るく優しい方で全員がイルカと泳げるまで何度も挑戦させて下さいました。野生のイルカはとても速く、一緒に泳ぐというよりは泳いでいるのを観察できたらラッキーという感じですが水中で見るイルカはとても可愛くて貴重な経験になりました！イルカと泳ぐには運も必要だし、イルカがいるのは本当に一瞬なのでシュノーケリング付きのツアーにした事で満足度がかなり上がりました♪シュノーケリングをした海は透明度がすごくて魚もたくさん！とてもキレイでした☆
ただ、他のイルカツアーに比べると、送迎無しにも関わらず値段が高いです。少人数制なので仕方ないとは思います。その分アットホームな雰囲気で楽しかったですし、ハワイの歴史などもゆっくりと教えて頂けたのは良かったです。シュノーケリングの後に頂いたフルーツもお茶もとっても美味しかったです☆
高速船はジェットコースター並の迫力でそれもこのツアーの楽しさの１つでした☆酔い止めは必須です！日焼け止めを塗っていてもかなり焼けるので、ラッシュガードを着ておいてよかったです！
Kikiさん、わざわざお時間を割いてレビューを書いてくださり、ありがとうございました。はい、弊社のツアーの醍醐味は少人数制で（多くて６人まで）アットホームなツアーをお客様に提供することです。また、弊社は自社ボートでツアーを行うので、他の会社と乗り合いになることはありません。海洋保護地区であるケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリングも楽しんでいただけたようで、何よりです。本当に美しいところですよね。他のお客様が読まれて参考になるレビューを、本当にありがとうございました。

去年カウアイ島を初めて訪れとても気に入り、今年再び。ナ・パリ・コーストのクルーズは去年もしましたが、今回はニイハウ島沖でシュノーケルができ、絶壁近くまで接近してくれるこのツアーを選びました。
ニイハウ島沖でのシュノーケルは水深の深い部分もあり、とても楽しめました。また、絶壁への接近もとても見ごたえがありました。
ただ、船がかなり揺れます。ツアー当日、海の状態はとても穏やかでしたが、特に帰路はスピートを出すためか、かなりの勢いで縦横に揺れます。我々家族は辛うじて酔いませんでしたが（父親以外酔い止め薬服用）、ギリギリの感じでした。外国のご婦人方は次々とバケツを渡されていました。
乗り物酔いをしやすい方、少しでもご心配な方は酔い止め薬を飲むことをお勧めします。
とはいえ、酔い止め薬を飲んででも参加する価値のあるツアーだと思います。特にナ・パリ・コースト ツアー初めての方にはお勧めです！

おおよそ１時間くらいかけて、シュノーケリングポイントへ。海は透明度は若干あるものの、黒い海といった感じで、魚は少しいましたが、まったくキレイではありませんでした。シュノーケルをメインには考えないほうがいいでしょう。軽い朝食は、フルーツと甘いパン。昼食は自作のサンドイッチ（私は酔いそうで、たべれませんでした）ところどころ、写真スポットで船を停止させ、みんな撮影してました。口コミみて行ったので予想できていましたが、酔い止め飲んでもきつかったです。必ず酔い止めと、雨よけ風よけの上着は持参してくださいね！

Amazing tour with Captain & crew out to the Na Pali Coast and Niihau island! We had an amazing time! Drew and Kamaile were awesome hosts making us feel comfortable and welcoming us all onboard. The other crew members made sure we were aware of safety and security while onboard and allowing us to experience the underwater world during our snorkeling adventures.
Lunch was light and filling at the same time, beers were always cold! Wine and beer was readily available anytime we wanted one. Fruit and humus was awesome! Homemade ranch dip and homemade humus was so delicious!
We watched the staff engage in great conversations with everyone onboard including the kids! Captain took us out to the sea caves and waterfalls up close and personal! It was such an enchanting tour and we look forward to going on another tour some time!
Bare feet on the boat is a requirement unless you have a medical condition. Dry cubbies available for personal belongings you wanted to keep dry.
I highly recommend you bring a waterproof bag to keep your personal items with you or close by you so you don't have to keep going back and forth into the cabin for the things you need. I had a large Calvin Kline bag that was waterproof and I was able to tuck it right under my seat without worrying about my personal belongings getting wet. You can bring your own snorkel gear otherwise you can use the boats gear anytime. If you haven't been on a boat or it's been quite sometime since you've been on a boat, I recommend you take dremamime or other motion sickness meds before boarding because the ride will and can be rough on the belly. Bring your own towels and don't forget your go pros and or other water proof cameras because you will be seeing lots of amazing things out there!

イルカと泳げたのは1回のみでしたが楽しかったです。
その後、場所を移して、ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケルも
大変、きれいでした。
ただ、キャプテンが英語だったので何を説明しているのか
分からなかったのが残念でした。
さちこ様、弊社のツアーは英語であるにも関わらず、参加して頂き、またわざわざお時間を割いてコメントを残して頂き、誠にありがとうございます。イルカと泳げたようで、またケアラケクア湾も楽しんで頂けたようで、何よりです。

靴を脱いでクルーザーに乗り込み、ワクワクしながら出港。間も無くイルカに遭遇。イルカたちは戯れるようにクルーザーと一緒に泳ぎ、ジャンプやスピンを見せてくれました。他にも海ガメ、ハワイアンモンクシールにも運良く会うことができました。
そしてなんといっても、海からのナ・パリコーストの迫力、サンセットの美しさは言葉では言い表せない感動でした！

息子の彼女と私たち夫婦で参加しました。お天気は最高で、50人乗り位のボート。
昔、タイで揺れたボートにトラウマでしたが、今回は全然揺れなくって、快適でした。
ランチは、好きな飲み物をもらって、サラダも食べたいだけ食べれて。スタッフもとても親切。いつも気にかけてくれました。嬉しくてチップ渡さなくてもいいのだけど、奮発しました。
船首の先をイルカたちが楽しそうに群れでリードしたり、ナパリの崖はどこを見ても圧倒される美しさ。本当に行ってよかった。
