I was worried about seasickness, but it wasn't a big deal and the boat was comfortable. The food was tastier than I expected. I was lucky to see whales multiple times and was able to take great photos. The onboard cultural programs were diverse, and I enjoyed participating in activities like lei making and hula dance lessons.

We were blessed with good weather, and at the Mauna Kea summit sunset, we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. I was truly moved by the grandeur of nature. This was my second time stargazing, and I was satisfied to see the Southern Cross, satellites, the Milky Way, and shooting stars. It was also great to have photos taken as a keepsake.

The entertainment was wonderful. The food was a disappointment. in fact, the cheaper tickets that went through the buffet had it better because they got as much as they wanted. Also, there wasn't much difference between our seats and theirs. I would do it again but would buy the cheaper tickets.

The tour is early so don't b late because they will leave you. The pearl harbor part of the tour is nice and short but long enough to get pictures of the memorial, museum and to do some shopping. The rest of the tour around the city i did not like. It felt like we drove around forever. At the cemetery the bus just drives in and out. It does not stop or lets u get out so you just get a quick glimpse and thats it. I am glad it was a half day tour.

In the pitch-black night, the beautiful stars and the faintly glowing Kilauea volcano in the distance were breathtaking. It was a moment where even blinking felt like a waste, as we could see shooting stars.

The explanations from our guide, Mr. Yamamoto, were very clear and enjoyable! With the sunset and starry sky as a backdrop, we were able to take beautiful photos, allowing me to remember that scenery anytime, even while in Japan. He pointed out the stars with a laser, making it easy to understand which stars belonged to which constellations. We also had fun conversations during the car ride to and from the site.

Next time, I want to bring my parents along, and I would love to request Mr. Yamamoto as our guide again at Masashi Nature School!

Waterfalls, exotic flowers, rainforests, trees, turquoise waters, and those cliffs and one lane bridges! Beautiful. I traveled with my husband, little girl, my mom and mother in law. We had a blast!, great food, all you can eat crab legs. great service and great show! If you're still deciding what dinner cruise you should take, here's your answer! You can't go wrong! My suggestion take this event as your grand finale of your vacation, probably on the last day of your trip. Thanks so much hawaiian activities, they added Hanauma Bay trip as a extra bonus at no cost( but you need to pay for the entrance fee)which you can not missed! My family and I had a wonderful time.

Spectacular Haleakala Sunrise Tour with Park Admission & Breakfast at Cafe O'Lei

My husband and I heard wonderful things about the Haleakala sunrise, and knew that it was going to be one of our activities on our honeymoon. However, we knew that the bike tour option was a little more daring than we had hoped. After doing some research and finding this tour, we knew that this was the route we wanted to take.

The tour picked us up EARLY (just before 2am), and we boarded the bus. On the way up, our driver gave us the "disclaimer," that nobody can control the weather except mother nature, and it will either be crystal clear and beautiful...or...cloudy and disappointing. Luckily for us, it was, quite literally, PERFECT.

As the sun rose, the colors changed so beautifully and two native Hawaiians sung a traditional chant. We stayed for a few more pictures, then took the bus from the lookout point to summit (quick drive), then stopped at another lookout point before heading down to breakfast.

If you are going to Maui, make sure you take this trip!

Tour was great and the tour guide did a great job. However, the pick up point was a closed hotel and not well marked. Took a while to find the pick up point, which was only a block away from the hotel where we were staying. Do not understand this as other buses from the same company were picking up at out hotel. We spend a few hours trying to find the pick up point and the operator that was called was not helpful. Overall it was a very nice day but it didn't start out the way that was expected. You need to set the pick up point at the hotel staying. Do not understand why he had to find a closed hotel!

My wife and I participated together. We enjoyed welcome drinks and appetizers on the top deck, and after taking a commemorative photo with the captain, we were guided to our seats. The staff was very polite and accommodating in Japanese, and the course meal was excellent. When we went out to the deck during sunset and fireworks, the staff kindly took photos for us. I think this was the best optional tour we've participated in during our time in Hawaii. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The moment I looked up at the night sky, the words that came out of my mouth were, "I can't believe I can see a sky full of stars in real life, something I've only ever seen in a planetarium." Everyone in the tour group was expressing the same sentiment all around. We had a casual stargazing study session, and when I showed my friends the commemorative photos with the starry background, they asked, "Isn't that a composite image?" It became a wonderful memory along with the sunset at the Subaru Telescope.

Since I'm going to Maui, I thought I had to visit Haleakalā, so I participated! I was torn between the sunrise and sunset, but I chose the sunset because it was easy with a departure time of 4:00 PM and I could see the starry sky.

As a result, it was even better than I expected! I was moved to tears by the beautiful sunset seen from above the clouds. The highlight was definitely our guide, Yamauchi. I would want to request Yamauchi again when I come back!

One thing to note is that it gets very cold, so make sure to dress warmly, and I think it's better to go when it's cloudy and when the moon is not full! The moonlight can make it difficult to see the beautiful starry sky!

　マウイに行くからにはハレアカラにいかなきゃと思い参加しました！　サンライズとサンセットで迷ったんですが、星空まで見れて、出発時間が16：00と楽だったのでえらびました。
結果、予想以上にとてもよかったです！　雲の上からみる綺麗なサンセットに感激して涙もでました。とにかくよかった点はガイドのヤマウチさんです。
またきたときには、またヤマウチさんにお願いしたいくらいです！

The quality of optional tours depends on "the weather and the guide." I was blessed with wonderful weather (Hawaiian blue = a clear blue sky) and the best guide, allowing me to spend a blissful time.

First, at the majestic Moanalua Gardens, I had the blooming monkey pod tree (the tree from Hitachi's advertisement) all to myself.

At the Dole Plantation, while others were waiting in long lines, I enjoyed VIP treatment thanks to my prior reservation and the familiar face of my guide, allowing me to bypass the queue and board immediately. After boarding, I had time for a stroll, shopping, and a light meal.

In Haleiwa Town, the experienced guide truly showcased their skills! They meticulously calculated the timing and route, leisurely navigating just before the busy hours. I was able to enjoy delicious shrimp from Mackey's, acai bowls from Lanikai Juice, and shave ice from Matsumoto without any wait, entering the shops while others were lined up outside. I managed to conquer all my goals with plenty of time to spare.

The 90-minute exploration of Haleiwa was divided into three 30-minute segments, allowing us to visit all the key spots without a long walk. I appreciated the thoughtful care of the veteran guide!

By slightly shifting away from the crowded beach where people were gathering around sea turtles, I was able to encounter sea turtles on a deserted beach.

Everything went so smoothly that I had extra time… The unexpected bonus tour to the soap factory, which became famous in Japan through the TV show "Moyamoya Summers," was excellent. They really know how to connect with Japanese TV programs—truly professional and experienced.

I was also given a handmade map of Haleiwa Town that included shop names and restrooms not found on commercial maps. Since I have difficulty walking, my guide brought a lightweight folding chair from home so I could take breaks while exploring. I felt a family-like hospitality in their meticulous care, which deeply impressed me.

Finally, I sincerely thank VELTRA, the operating company Island Makana, and my guide Yamada! Thank you for the best experience in Oahu (North Shore)! Next time I visit Hawaii, I will choose optional tours through VELTRA and confidently recommend them to my friends and acquaintances visiting Hawaii!

■ウミガメに人が群がる混み合うビーチを少しズラして、誰も居ないビーチでウミガメにも出逢えた。
■スムーズ過ぎて時間にゆとりが…予定にないオマケツアーで訪れた「モヤモヤサマーズで日本で一躍有名になった」石鹸工場は非常に良かった。日本のＴＶ番組をちゃんと押さえている処など…さすがプロ＋さすがベテラン
■市販の地図に載っていない店名やトイレなどを記したハレイワタウンの解りやすい手製地図を作って戴いたり、足の不自由な私には、少し歩くことになるので、休み休み回れるように、軽い折りたたみ椅子を自宅から持参してくれたり、至れり尽くせりの気遣いに、家族のようなもてなしの心を感じ…感銘した。

From start to finish, everything was taken into consideration, so I was able to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. The sunset over the sea of clouds was simply magnificent. This view was so far removed from everyday life that it felt almost like being in heaven, truly surreal. The starry sky was filled with so many stars that I couldn't even recognize the constellations, and I forgot the cold, overwhelmed by awe.

I didn't bring my camera, but the guide took high-quality photos, allowing me to take home wonderful memories. It's great that they are available for free download. They even showed us Saturn through a telescope. It was interesting how they explained the climate and geography of the Big Island while we were in the car, showcasing the changing scenery.

It was very cold at the summit, so the warm clothing was truly appreciated. This is a must-have. Even those who are sensitive to the cold can enjoy themselves comfortably if they have warm shoes. The lunch came with miso soup, and the cookies at the summit were a nice touch. I felt very lucky to have come to Mauna Kea and to have participated in this tour. Thank you very much.

This event was amazing!!! There is so much history behind it, that I left hungry to come back for more information!! It's a must see for everyone!!! It's an unforgettable experience!! Get to experience the deck in battleship Missouri. The tourist guide where very helpful. The reason I rated this tour "Good" is because my husband thinks it was great, and I think it was so-so. Maybe, it's because I don't watch TV often enough and have no idea about movies mentioned on the tour. Unfortunately, we did not stop in the area, where they filmed those few movies I actually watched and liked, so it was a big disappointment for me.

I would not recommend this tour if TV shows or movies are not your passion.

Wasn't sure how we would like this since we don't normally like touristy things, but we really enjoyed the show. Food was good and I would recommend paying the premium upgrade amount as it helped us skip the line and then sit up front to watch the show. My son who just turned 14 really liked the activities and the show -- he even tried poi. My daughter who is 18 enjoyed the show -- especially the fire dance. Overall, the hosts and staff were very nice and accommodating. The performers were wonderful and even funny at times. I would highly recommend this event if you have never been to a Luau.

This show will spoil you...other luaus just won't measure up! Do yourself a favor and get the Royal seating close to the stage, especially if you will be attending with kids. You don't want them to miss a thing! We all loved it!

Beautiful views from the boat, areas on boat need work

My grandmother and I chose this as something different to do from the sightseeing and beach time we had been enjoying. The transportation is great even for those of us that are familiar with the island, and well worth the additional cost. The seating area is packed and truly would be more enjoyable with fewer people crammed in. The food and service were far better than expected and the "All You Can Eat" crab truly lives up to the name. The boat from an external view is beautiful and makes a striking appearance out on the open ocean. On the decks there are areas that could be maintained better, especially the areas that food is served from and are in plain view of guests. The top deck is amazing for catching sight of the city line and would be a great place to spend a romantic evening with a significant other. Overall this is something that I am glad we experienced and would be willing to take others on.

Passport to Pearl Harbor Ticket - Official One-Day Admission & Self-Guided Tour

Passport includes all four museums at Pearl Harbor, but you must still get there early to pick up your Arizona tour tickets. I got in line at 7am, and had no problems. It was important for us to stop and learn more in detail about the events in Dec 1941, while paying respect to those who lived and fought in WWII. USS Missouri was quite a sight as well as you get to see a lot of the ship on your tour.

The moment I looked up at the night sky, words escaped my mouth. I was moved by the grandeur of seeing a planetarium in the natural sky compared to the city. The constellation explanations with the pointer were appreciated, and the professional photography was wonderful. I had the best memories of any tour I've experienced so far. Of course, it's thanks to our guide. I'm really glad I chose this Haleakalā tour with Maui All Stars. They took great care of us. To prevent altitude sickness, they made sure to take breaks while enjoying the journey to the summit, and I didn't experience any of the health issues I had feared. I truly enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart. I want my husband to experience this wonderful feeling as well. Someday, I definitely want to share this view with him and enjoy the moment together. Of course, with Maui All Stars...
