I had considerable hesitation because it was an expensive tour and my first experience on a helicopter, but I decided to book it thinking I might never have the chance to come again. However, once I was on board, the views were amazing, including the inside of the Kilauea volcano crater and the sight of lava flowing into the sea, which I couldn't have seen from a helicopter otherwise. I didn't feel the turbulence at all; it was much more comfortable than riding in a tour bus on the roads. The pilot's explanations were all in English, and honestly, I didn't understand much, but the scenery didn't need any words. I took a taxi from the Royal Kona Resort, and it cost about $100 one way, including the tip, so if the tour is your main purpose, it would be better to stay in the South Kohala area.

Previously, when I took a helicopter tour on Kauai, the American guests riding with me seemed to be having a great time chatting with the pilot. We were listening to a Japanese tape during our helicopter tour... even though it was the same price!! So this time, I chose Blue Hawaiian hoping for a Japanese pilot.

It was an experience beyond my imagination. Since I had been staying for a few days, it felt like we were looking down from above at the places we had traveled by car, and the Big Island was incredibly BIG. The vast black land, lava, lush green valleys, waterfalls, and pastures, and finally the coastline... I thought I might get bored after two hours, but the pace was so fast that it was really fun.

The Japanese pilot, Toshi, was the best!!

I participated with my son. Until the day of the flight, I actually intended to pilot the plane myself, but since my middle school son was allowed to take the controls, he ended up piloting it＾＾. I observed from the back seat. A professional pilot sat next to him, holding the control stick at the same time and providing detailed instructions for takeoff. So there was no fear. We were able to see the beautiful Diamond Head and the blue ocean from directly above. At first, my son was quite nervous about his first flight, but as the Cessna glided through the sky, his tension eased, and he enjoyed piloting. The runway at Oahu Airport looked different from the view we usually have from commercial planes. It was also fun to taxi down the runway in the Cessna like a car. It was an experience we can't usually have! We enjoyed that together as parent and child.

Before boarding the Cessna, we received an explanation in front of the cockpit and went through a health check. The staff were very friendly. Inside the office, there were many photos of celebrities taken with the Cessna in the background. I feel like I’ve seen the pilot's face on TV before.

We created wonderful memories together as a parent and child. There’s a video of the flight, and watching it still makes me excited. My son's current dream is to become a pilot＾＾. I definitely want to repeat this experience when we go to Hawaii!

息子と二人で参加しました。当日まで、ホントは私が操縦するつもりで居たのですが、中学生の息子でも操縦させてもらえるということで･･･息子が操縦しました＾＾そして私は後部座席から見学。きちんとプロの操縦士の方がお隣に座り、その席で同時に操縦桿を握ってくれて、細やかな指示で離陸。だから怖さはありません。美しいダイアモンドヘッドや青い海を真上から見ることができました。最初息子も初フライトにかなり緊張していましたが、セスナが上空を滑るように飛んでいるうちにその緊張も解け、操縦を楽しんでいました。オアフ空港の滑走路もいつもの旅客機からの眺めとは違って見えました。滑走路の中を車みたくセスナで走ったのも面白かったです。なかなか普段できないこと！親子でそれを体験してきました。
セスナに乗り込む前に、操縦席の写真を前に説明を受けたり、健康状態のチェックなどしました。スタッフの皆さんがとてもフレンドリーでした。事務所の中にはセスナを後ろにして写した、沢山の芸能人の写真が飾られていました。確かに、操縦士さんのお顔を以前テレビで見たような気がします。
親子でとても素敵な思い出ができました。フライトの様子を映したビデオがありますが、それを見ると今でもわくわくしてきます。息子の今の夢は･･･パイロットになることです＾＾
ハワイに行ったときは是非リピートしたいです！

I wavered back and forth with doing a helicopter ride since it is so expensive. My boyfriend and I went on the Falls and Fire tour, which was interesting. I am glad we did it, since much of the volcano viewing area was closed due to the fumes, but I wish we could have gone at night to see the lava flows better. It was a bit inconvenient for us due to the weather (we had to reschedule), luckily we could be a bit flexible. I would recommend a helicopter ride in Hawaii to anyone, since it is a unique experience and the views are phenomenal.

I hesitated to participate because I'm not very comfortable with heights, but in the end, I'm glad I did it.

At first, I was anxious after signing a contract stating, "I will not sue no matter what happens," but thanks to the friendly and reliable instructor, by the time we were diving, my expectations outweighed my fears.

When falling from 14,000 feet, the wind pressure is so intense that I couldn't even close my mouth, but once the parachute opened, I was simply amazed by the breathtaking views below. The instructor showed us the scenery from different angles, explaining it in simple English like a tour guide. It was the best sky adventure.

I was really torn about whether to order the photos because they were expensive, but I'm glad I did. They took many pictures, and being able to look at them later allowed me to enjoy the experience even more after the trip. It became my favorite memory from Hawaii.

For those who are hesitating, you absolutely should do it!!

何枚も撮ってもらえますし、後で客観的に見れるので、旅の後も楽しめます。
ハワイで一番の思い出になりました。

I am afraid of heights and I was really afraid that I would have to close my eyes, like when I go to some of the i-max theaters. This was so great, it was peaceful and calm. I loved every minute of it and wished that it had lasted longer and my eyes never closed. I think that it is a great way to see the coast line, but also the mountains and the poi fields in Hanalei. I would do it again.

Not only was this my first time on the beautiful island of Hawaii it was also the first time I had ever been on a helicopter. I spent 9 nights on the island and the helicopter tour was, by far, the most enjoyable hour during my entire stay. The pilot was very knowledgeable of the areas we toured and informative. His sidekick, (Ziggy), was a hit with everyone in our group. I would highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. You couldn't find a better attractiion on the entire island than this tour. I am returning to the island in August and I'm hopeful we can get as good a rate then, like we did last October. Thanks again and see you in August.

I would recommand everyone at some time to see Hawaii for the air. You truely can't see the beauty of the Island any other way. Our flight was so smooth, my son dooze off for a moment. Our pilot was excellent. My daughter has car sickness sometimes and she was fine. Our pilot was knowable about the Island and had very Interesting stories. It is a must do for everyone at any age. I was opposed by my family and looked at strangely by my colleagues, wondering, "Am I weird?" but I followed my heart that said, "I want to fly!" and went for it. In the end, I am filled with the feeling that it was great to fly. For me, the joy and satisfaction come even stronger after returning home than right after the jump. During free fall, the strong wind and noise make it hard to enjoy the scenery, but once the parachute opens, I was able to leisurely enjoy the beautiful sea and mountains of Hawaii. Watching others descend while waiting below is also impressive. It was quite cold between the plane and free fall, especially in winter! (Someone who participated with me said, "You seem calm. I didn't feel anything because I was so nervous.") If you're sensitive to the cold, I recommend wearing a long-sleeved, slightly thicker shirt. Also, the impact upon landing is stronger than expected, so those with knee issues should be careful. Some people enjoyed landing on their bottoms, but their pants ended up quite wet and dirty. I participated on the last day of my stay in Hawaii, during a winter when the weather can change quickly, but fortunately, the rain that fell in the morning stopped, and it turned into a beautiful day (actually, that afternoon, there was a storm-like rain, and everything was canceled). I didn't feel scared, and thanks to that, it became an invaluable memory as I approach my 40s. I sincerely thank the divers and staff who provided a safe and enjoyable skydiving experience! Thank you!

We did a circle island flight, and it was AWESOME. The pilot, Josh was very funny and friendly, as well as his co-pilot ziggy (cute dog). The view from the sky is a lot different for sure. I was able to see all the surfers on the northshore. The sheer vastness of the ocean surprised us. Such an beautiful place. Highly recommended!

I tried skydiving for the first time! I’m not great with heights, but it was more fun than I expected, and the rainbow I saw from 4,000 meters up was absolutely beautiful.

The weather was unstable, so we had some delays in jumping that day, but ultimately, I was able to enjoy the amazing views in clear skies. Depending on the instructor, some can be quite enthusiastic, and after opening the parachute, they might spin around a bit too much, which can make you feel a little queasy. Fortunately, my instructor was just right, and I felt perfectly fine.

I wanted photos and videos, but they were too expensive, so I gave up on that. On the way back, since we had some time left, we also did a little sightseeing. I can’t forget the taste of the shrimp I had during that time! Thank you, driver Komiya!

高いところは苦手でしたが予想以上に楽しく上空４０００ｍから見た虹はとてもきれいでした。

It was a trip with three friends for four days (actually three days). One of the memories from that trip was booking a skydiving experience at Pacific Skydiving Center two days before the trip after a big decision. I was full of anxiety, but the day itself was incredibly fulfilling and satisfying!!

Mr. KOMIYA, who provided our transportation, was the best staff member we encountered during our trip and someone we will never forget. He felt like a father figure in Hawaii. Surrounded by staff who were unique and helped ease our tension during the skydiving experience, it was definitely a tour we will come back to next time we visit Hawaii.

Together with my friends, we rated our satisfaction ★★★★★!!
