My husband and I both agree this has been our favorite activity while in Hawaii (we’ve done several activities on 3 different islands). There are no words to describe the beauty of the coast!! Cameron & Tony were knowledgeable and very fun!! We saw several whales & spinner dolphins, which took our trip to the next level for us! Snorkeling was cancelled because of rough water, but we didn’t even notice because we were having so much fun!! Thanks Cameron & Tony for an awesome adventure!

I was informed about the tide conditions in advance and chose the best time to participate. There was also an explanation in Japanese, so I had no worries. On the day of the event, it was a bit chilly, but the warm drinks were very appreciated. I was moved to see many more turtles than I expected. SUP was also fun.

Very organized tour!!!

Everything was very organized and the crew is very friendly! We had lots of fun snorkeling and swimming. The sand bar is incredibly beautiful! It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen! I definitely want to do it again! The only thing I recommend is when you buy the tour don’t forget to add transportation because it is not easy to get a taxi or Uber there.

Absolutely a “must do”. The staff was amazing and friendly and we loved the music on the boat along with the activities provided (snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaks). It was so amazing to be on a shallow beach in the middle of the ocean!

I thought the sandbar was land. However, it is still the sea in shallow waters. You can't go in with your clothes on. You can see sea turtles from a distance. Also, the snorkeling experience is not in a place where you can stand, so it might be tough if you can't swim at all. There are no other stops, but the staff was friendly, and it was an enjoyable tour.

So I brought my friend's couple to do this one. We did snorkeling and watched turtles and a lot of fishs! After that we enjoyed fun things including paddle , tube !

The water level was slightly lower than expected, about 1 foot, and the children were having a great time. The weather was nice, and the scenery was beautiful, with the shallow areas appearing whitish. I appreciated the encouragement and support provided to help the children play happily. The water temperature was warmer than I had anticipated, which was a relief. I was also guided to a spot that looked like a heart at the end, where I was able to take some great photos.

The experience was good. We saw both whales and dolphins. The unfortunate thing was that they overbooked the boat and there wasn’t seats available for everyone on deck. Being forced to sit in the crew area below and not hear the captain’s commentary had a way of making you feel unwelcome. However, we did get to do the activities and saw wonderful marine life.

Awesome experience - worth every penny

As everyone else, we wanted to snorkel at Hanauma Bay during our trip to Hawaii. However, the tickets sell within 1 minute and by the time you go to pay, there are no tickets left!!!
So I started looking for other snorkeling locations and discovered this package at Kaneohe sand bar. It had great reviews and they were all true.
The boat was absolutely clean, then crew was amicable and extremely courteous, and the musicians were phenomenal. Really. It was sawesome. Once you hit the sand bar, we went snorkeling, then kayaking and paddle boarding.
The most significant moment was when we were talking to Kai-ia, a very friendly employee that told us the secrets of the locals, and made our experience even richer.
We will definitely book this again in our next trip to Hawaii.
And you should do it too!!!

I went on a tour with my three elementary school children, and the guides were very kind, making it a fun experience for the whole family. The kids were initially scared of snorkeling, but once they got used to it, they really enjoyed it.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time. We snorkeled and paddle boarded and just relaxed on the floating lounge. The live music was fantastic. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. The lunch was delicious and fresh and the constant flow of water and lemonade nice addition. I would definitely do it again.

We enjoyed the activity. We went to the sandbar during high tide, so the water was up to our knees, just slightly under our hips. The difficulty is easy, especially when it's self-guided. The corals are beautiful when snorkeling! The waterproof maps helps a lot, and obtaining the rentals were a breeze. They provided snorkels, dry bags, maps, flippers, life jackets, and the kayaks. Overall, I would recommend! Bring some snacks, because the four hour rental was exhausting. Just be sure to clean up after yourselves and do not litter!

With this being our first snorkel tour, I wasn't sure what to expect. I can tell you that it was just as much about the people running the tour as it was about the tour itself. The ocean is incredibly beautiful! I was able to see sea turtles! They also kindly teach you how to snorkel and use the boat!

There are people who speak Japanese, so you won't have to proceed without understanding the explanations, and it was also great that they provided transportation to Waikiki.

Kauai Na Pali Coast Snorkeling Tour & Sea Cave Adventure by Makana Charters

Went on the afternoon trip with my best friend, we went as a birthday outing for him. The trip was SPECTACULAR, the cliffs and the water were gorgeous, we saw a a whale, the captain regaled us with facts of the coastline, and saw one of the sea caves. It was a little rough and we did not go in but it was still just as amazing all the same. We did not do any snorkeling (as it would be a little late in the day to do so) but we were permitted to jump out of the boat to swim around. It was fun, had a nice little meal. I will definitely go with this tour again if given the chance. A+.

I participated because I wanted to see sea turtles.
On the day of the tour, the sky was cloudy, and the sea wasn't very clear, but I was able to see sea turtles both from the boat and while snorkeling!
There were no Japanese-speaking staff on our boat, but there was a staff member who understood a little Japanese, so I felt somewhat at ease participating.
During the drive to and from the location, the driver was very friendly and engaging, so I didn't get bored!
It was a very enjoyable tour.
If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to participate again.

It was perfect! The crew was really kind and helpful. The captain was really funny and entertaining. And the star of the show - the Manta Rays - we're absolutely breathtaking. We were lucky to find a group of Manta Rays en route and decided to drop anchor and just spent all the time there. That gave us more time with the Manta Rays. We weren't the best swimmers so the crew helped us with life jackets and they helped to and fro the float. We had a great time and I would absolutely recommend them.

I was picked up by bus and moved to Senba, where everyone cheerfully explained everything in Japanese, from the precautions for boarding the boat to the overall flow. I had an incredibly fun time, got to see turtles, and it became the best memory!!! This time I came for my honeymoon, but I would like to use this service again when our family grows!!

バスで迎えにきてもらい、船場まで移動し、船乗る時の注意点から、全体の流れまで日本語で皆んな明るく説明してくれ、めちゃくちゃ楽しく過ごせて、カメも見れて、最高の思い出になりました！！！

A fabulous experience!

I am so glad we booked with this company! Many staff members were verified life guards and had degrees I. Marine biology. Safety and fun was their first priority. They didn’t skimp on lunch- allowed 2nds and thirds so you definitely weren’t left hungry! We were a little bummed that we didn’t actually get to see any whales, only 1 turtle, and not a ton of fish, but they can’t help nature.
