It was my first snorkeling experience with my husband, and we had a great time! Right below us were corals and colorful fish!!

We were really excited to do this tour! When we got there the tour guides were very friendly and chill. When we got out to where we were snorkeling I had a bit of a freak out when I got into the water. I looked down and saw so many fish under my feet! The one tour guide came over and helped me overcome my fear. I got in and out of the boat many times. We also saw so many turtles! After snorkeling we went on a nice sail while enjoying some well deserved drinks. All in all this was a fabulous for the price point of the tour! I would totally do this again!

It was my first time in Hawaii. I really wanted to experience the sandbar and snorkeling, so I signed up for this tour. The scenery was truly breathtaking and I was moved. It seemed like the timing wasn't great, as the water was quite high, reaching up to my knees, but the crew member YUKIKO took amazing photos that I can't help but admire every time I look back at them. She even made requests for poses in good spots to ensure that other participants wouldn't be in the frame, making it feel like I was being photographed by a professional! I had heard that there weren't many fish for snorkeling, but I saw plenty and had a great time! Thank you so much! I'm really glad I chose this tour!

The Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Captain Bob's Snorkel Cruise is, by far, one of the most amazing and fun tours I have taken during my visit to the beautiful island of Oahu! From lunch at the sand bar with a game of volleyball, to an area where we saw turtles of all sizes and a HUGE Manta Ray, to the coral reef for some snorkeling, the snorkel cruise was non-stop fun! The crew was so nice and I cannot thank them enough for their help, guidance, and dedication to making sure everyone had a great time! This will definitely be a tour I will go on when I go to Hawaii again. I definitely recommend this cruise!! :-)

I participated in a tour that included dolphin watching, snorkeling, and a barbecue lunch, and it was great. The participants were all foreigners, and the staff were kind, cheerful, and a lot of fun, making for an amazing half-day experience.

I was worried about getting seasick, but it was so enjoyable that I didn't have time to feel seasick at all, and I was completely fine.

The meeting point at the pier was very close to the hotel, which was very convenient.

When we went, we encountered a rare pod of dolphins, which was a once-in-a-year experience! The dolphins approached us!! We could even hear their sounds, and it was very moving!! After that, we seemed to have some extra time, so we headed out to look for other types of dolphins... Luckily, we encountered another pod, and the dolphins swam around the boat and jumped, which was amazing!! The snorkeling afterward was also great, as we got to see sea turtles. It was a very satisfying tour.

I was taken to many places that you definitely can't reach on foot. I got to see lava and many waterfalls in the canyon. The feeling of approaching while circling was something I had never experienced before. I didn't expect the helicopter to be so stable; it was a comfortable journey in the sky.

I participated alone in August. I was told to confirm by phone at 4 PM on the day of the event, so I called, but it seemed that it wasn't particularly necessary, which surprised me. It seems that it's not needed unless the weather is particularly dangerous.

After going to the office and completing the check-in, they lend you a wetsuit in the next room without saying anything. After that, you go to the place where the boat departs on your own. The directions are simple, but I ended up getting lost unexpectedly. In fact, there were people who got lost and couldn't make it in time, so I think those who lack confidence should allow themselves plenty of time to get there.

We booked a morning tour.
We went with high expectations, but it was a bit different from what we saw in books and on TV, with shallow areas that were knee-deep!

We knew that snorkeling at Hanauma bay was a public activity, but we wanted something that was "high touch" and could deal with any individual needs if they came up. This was definitely it and we were very satisfied. Group sizes are usually small, like 4, but ours was luckily just the 2 of us. Alan, the guide's pre-outing equipment instructions helped ensure that we could use the mask with the least problems and we always felt safe & accommodated. This was the best snorkeling experience I've had of the several we've done so far. We even saw a sea turtle for a bit nibbling around the coral and coming up for air!

Since it's a sandbar, there’s likely a lot of sand, and with many people snorkeling at once, the sand gets stirred up, so the visibility underwater isn't very good. However, I participated mainly to see the scenery of the sandbar, so I was quite satisfied. (By the way, the sandwich was just bread with cheese and ham, and I wasn't expecting much, but it was a bit disappointing.) Also, I didn't feel seasick at all. 偶然にも虹、えい、ウミガメすべてが見れました。サンドバーも期待通りとてもきれいな海でした。シュノーケリングは短い時間ではありましたが、魚もたくさんみれました。ただ、透明度に関しては沖縄の慶良間島のほうがずっと透明です。サンドバーなだけあって砂が多いのだろうし、大勢で一度にシュノーケリングするので砂が舞い上がるのか、海の中の透明度はあまりよくないです。ただ、シュノーケリングよりサンドバーの景色を見たくて参加したので、十分満足です。（ちなみにサンドイッチはパンにチーズとハムがはさんであるものがでただけで、期待してはいませんでしたが、うーん・・・という感じでした。）それから、船酔いは全然しません。内海で静かだからかあまり船はゆれません。

The guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese. Inside the car, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. 朝迎えに来たガイドさんが、あやしい日本語でした。車内では、英語で全部説明？してるし、何の注意点もなく、現地へ到着しました。またこのガイドは、帰りのバスでは、途中で降りて消えてしまいました。まぁ、そのガイドはさておき、現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。ランチは、ハンバーグでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした・・・（あまり必要ない人？？）とくに、日本人と外人さんの船が分かれていたのですが、外人さんは、サンドバーでもたばこを吸っていたり、マナーが悪いので、気分が少し嫌になりました。全体的にはとても良かったです

Snorkeling - Great to swim with the turtles, however no fish to really see. Provided with snorkel but not fins. maybe worth brining if you want to try and swim deeper and get to the turtles quickly before they return to the bottom. Probably saw 20-25 Turtles.
Sailing - Very cool - Fast & Fun. Saw Dolphins, Flying fish

It rained early in the morning, and it was a bit chilly, but the weather gradually improved, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sandbar! Since I was barefoot, my feet hurt a bit on the sandbar, but I was able to enjoy it as part of the natural experience. While snorkeling, I was able to see sea turtles, corals, and various creatures living among the corals up close. My family seemed to be fine, but I got cold while snorkeling and felt chilly; however, the warm tea and mushroom soup really warmed me up. I thought I would like to visit the sandbar again at a different time in a different season if I get the chance.

早朝に雨が降り、少し肌寒い中でしたが徐々に天気も良くなりキレイなサンドバーを楽しむことが出来ました！裸足だったのでサンドバーは足が痛いところもありましたが、それも自然、と満喫できました。シュノーケリングではウミガメやサンゴ、サンゴに済む色々な生物も間近に見ることができました。家族は大丈夫だったようですが、私はシュノーケリングで体が冷えてしまって寒い思いをしましたが温かいお茶とマッシュルームのスープが体にしみました。
また機会があったら違う季節の違う時間にサンドバーに行ってみたいなと思いました。

I participated in early September. First of all, I want to thank the staff for their cheerful service. I had a very enjoyable time. I was able to see turtles up close, and it was a great tour with no complaints at all. I definitely recommend it over budget tour companies.
