As for the sea, I was able to see sea turtles! However, apart from that, there were just a few black fish here and there.

There was a performance where we rode the waves? The boat rocked a lot, and the foreigners seemed to enjoy it, but it went on for more than ten times and was quite long. The ocean in Hawaii that I visited for the first time was incredibly beautiful, and I was moved by it. The malasada I had for the first time was served warm, and I was able to eat it right away, which was also a touching experience. It was so delicious that it has become one of my favorite foods.

My first experience with snorkeling was also very good. I’m not a strong swimmer, so I had to get back on the boat, but I still want to try it again.

Seeing the manta rays perform large flips up close in the ocean was breathtaking. Many fish gathered around, creating a scene I had only seen in an aquarium. The manta rays appeared and disappeared repeatedly, and there were times when I just stared at the invisible seabed. Although it was April, the night sea was colder than I had imagined (renting a wetsuit was the right choice). I'm not a strong swimmer and was a beginner at snorkeling, so I was a bit tired towards the end, but I enjoyed it until the very last moment. It was also great that the staff who spoke Japanese provided solid support.

After that, we went snorkeling at a coral reef while searching for sea turtles! We were able to spot a honu and saw so many fish; I couldn't be more satisfied! The hamburgers for lunch were also very filling and delicious! I definitely want to join again next time :)

Among the participants, we were the only two Japanese, but thanks to the wonderful support from the staff member Takako, we were able to spend our time from check-in to check-out without any worries or inconveniences. Even though it was already April, at the end of the season, we were thrilled to see whales multiple times before reaching Molokini Island. At the snorkeling spot, Takako quickly found a sea turtle and let us know, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. The meals and drinks on the boat were diverse and delicious, and during snack time, they even walked around distributing cookies on the deck, showcasing their thorough hospitality. Throughout the tour, it was impressive to see the staff working energetically and happily. This became the best memory of our trip. I highly recommend this to anyone planning to visit Maui!

I chose this small group tour with one guide for every five participants from the many snorkeling options at Hanauma Bay, but for some reason, there was one guide for seven participants. I thought it was strange and checked the voucher, but upon closer inspection, I noticed there was no mention of a participant limit, so I thought I might have been mistaken and didn't confirm with the guide at that moment. However, after returning home and looking at the Veltra website, it indeed states five participants. I'm disappointed that there was a discrepancy between the website information and what I experienced.

Also, even though it was a half-day tour, it took time to prepare, and the snorkeling was just one outing before returning to the beach. There was no time to relax on the beach, and the mineral water and snacks included in the tour price were only provided at the end. Given the high ratings and my expectations, I found the experience a bit lacking. However, I did see a lot of fish and even encountered a honu.

太陽が雲から出たり隠れたりすることで、海の色が変化するさまは、なかなか体験できない美しさです。

We decided to do this tour for our anniversary and it was amazing! The staff were super helpful and knew what they were doing. Everyone was nice and making sure you're having a good time. The food was great as well as the snacks. Snorkeling was really fun. I seen more than a few turtles and lots of fish! I would not recommend this if pregnant and further along (like myself, I was 22 weeks), this caused my life vest to keep pushing to the side. So I had to use so much strength to hold it down and swim and still snorkel, it was really hard with the belly in the way. Other than that, it was really fun! I would recommend booking before you fly to hawaii. We were told it fits 80 people, i booked ahead anyways and sure enough it was only a 30 head count and full, so there isnt much room for you to wait last minute.

On the way to Manta Point, we watched the sunset and saw the green flash. When we arrived at Manta Point, there were already a lot of people there, and I started to worry if manta rays would come to us with so many people around. However, as soon as we got in the water, I was surprised to find that mantas were waiting for us. It might have been the same individual, but we encountered about ten of them (instead of counting them as one or two, they count them as one ray, two rays, etc.), and I was satisfied. On the way back, the boat ride and after landing were unexpectedly dark, and especially on the boat, I struggled to find where to change because it was so dark. I recommend bringing a light.
