It was great that it was sunny this year after two consecutive years of cloudy weather. When it's sunny, the water is beautiful and I could see the turtles well. Unfortunately, the white sandy beach didn't appear, but I was happy to find Jamie, who took care of us last year, on the neighboring boat! This year, I was moved to see a large turtle, about the size of three adults, swimming gracefully up close! Anyway, the crew members teach us various things in Japanese, so there's nothing to worry about. It gets cold after coming out of the sea, so it's a good idea to wrap yourself in a towel you brought from the hotel. Thank you, Izumi!

2年連続曇りだったので、今年は晴れて良かった。やっぱり晴れていると水も綺麗で亀さん達も良く見えた。残念ながら白い砂浜は出現しなかったけど、去年お世話になったジェイミーも隣の船で発見して嬉しかった！今年は大人3人分くらいの大きな亀が優雅に泳いでて間近で見れて感動！とにかくクルーの方が日本語で細かく色々な事を教えてくれるので何も困らない。海から上がったら寒いのでホテルから持参したタオルを巻いて凌ぐといいね。イズミありがとう！

This is my second time participating, and last time the water was knee-deep, but this time it was up to my neck. There was live music on the boat the whole time, and the atmosphere was very nice. The boat also had a restroom, which was reassuring.

At the first point, we didn't encounter any manta rays, so we moved to a spot where we could meet them while holding onto the pole. Then, illuminated by the light, the manta ray appeared beautifully as if it was glowing. It was truly breathtaking. After that, it seemed like it was greeting us, swirling around and opening its mouth wide to suck in plankton, which made us incredibly excited each time. The water temperature was a bit low, and by the time we returned to the boat, we were shivering. However, we received hot chocolate on the boat, which warmed up both our salty mouths and cold bodies a little. Thanks to the Japanese guide's attentiveness, we were able to enjoy the tour without any worries. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone going to the Big Island of Hawaii.

最初のポイントではマンタは現れなかったので、私達はポールにつかまったままマンタに遭遇できるポイントまで移動。すると光に照らされてまるでマンタが光っている様に美しく登場しました。大感激です。その後も挨拶でもしてくれてるかの様にクルクルと回転したり、口を大きく開けてプランクトンを吸い込んでいる様子がみれて、その度に大興奮でした。水温が少し低くて船に戻る頃にはガタガタ震えてしまいましたが、船でホットチョコのドリンクを貰い塩っぱい口の中も寒い体も少し温まりました。日本語ガイドの方が気を配って頂いたので何も不安なくツアーを楽しめました。ありがとうございました。ハワイ島に行く方には、是非参加する様勧めたいと思います。

We had an amazing catamaran experience in Waikiki! The service and attention from the crew were excellent, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the trip. The catamaran was practically brand new and very comfortable.

We went snorkeling at an incredible spot where we saw so many turtles—it was absolutely unforgettable! When we mentioned my wife was from Puerto Rico, they immediately played music from there, which made the experience even more fun and personal. We truly enjoyed every moment and would do it again without a second thought. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. The crew was outstanding. We wish we had mere time on the sandbar.

After participating in a dolphin tour on the Big Island, I thought about trying "Manta" for the next ten years, and I finally got to join the "Manta University Night Class." Since it was a night class, I had the image that "the dark sea is scary," which made it hard for me to take the plunge. However, as I've gotten older, I thought this might be my last chance, so I decided to participate. To my surprise, there was not even a hint of the feeling of a dark sea. It was amazing to see the mantas swimming gracefully through the water, and I was so close that I could almost touch them.

『マンタ大学夜間部』に参加する事ができました。
夜間部という事で、『暗い海は怖い』イメージがあり、なかなか踏み出せませんでしたが、
年齢も重ね、これが最後と考え参加しましたが、暗い海という感じは１ミリもなく、マンタが
海の中を『優雅に飛ぶ様に泳ぎ』、『もう少しでマンタに触れらる』という感動で最高でした。

There wasn't a single person who could speak Japanese, and all the participants were from overseas, but everyone was very kind and it was a lot of fun! You can also return to the boat at your own timing!

日本語が話せる人が1人もいなく、参加者も海外の方のみでしたが、とても親切で楽しかったです！

We went out about 30 minutes offshore to search for dolphins. The boat was a speedboat, which might be a bit confusing for those who have participated in snorkeling in places like the Okinawa islands. The snorkeling gear and life jackets were basic, so if you have your own, it's better to bring them along.

The staff were friendly, and there wasn't a photographer as mentioned in the reviews, which made for a fun experience. The Japanese staff were kind and took good care of the children! I wanted to buy some photos, but the original tour price was already quite high. I thought it would be better if the photo cost was included in the tour price, so we could board with peace of mind.

It seems that there were fewer Japanese participants, and there were many English-speaking guests, which allowed us to enjoy the overseas experience.

However, I would like to see improvements in the pickup process. A Japanese staff member came to confirm at 5:30 AM before the driver arrived, and we waited for 40 minutes. It seems there were some issues with the driver, and some Japanese guests were unable to join the tour.

I think it was a good tour since we saw dolphins three times.

I don't think all hotels have the same 5:30 AM pickup, so I would appreciate adjustments to the timing and more reliable pickups.

港から30分ほどの沖合までイルカを探しに行きます。ボードもスピードボードで、沖縄離島などでシュノーケル参加した方などは戸惑われるかと。
シュノーケルもライフジャケットも簡易的なものです。持ってる方は、自分の物を持って行った方が良いです。
スタッフの方はノリが良く、口コミにあったようなカメラマンさんは居なくて楽しく過ごせました。日本人のスタッフさんは、子ども達にも優しく面倒見てくださいました！写真買いたかったけど、元のツアー代もまあまあするし、高いなあと。それならいっそツアー代金に組み込んでくれたら安心して乗り込めるのにとも思いました。

かなり日本人の方の参加は少なくなっているようで英語圏の方が多く、それはそれで海外を楽しむことができました。

ただ、、、ピックアップの仕方は改良求めます。先に日本人スタッフの方が5時半に確認に来られてからドライバーさんが来ますが、40分待ちました。ドライバーさんのミス？でピックアップしてもらえず、ツアーに参加できなかった日本人の方もいるようです。

3回イルカにも会えたしいいツアーだと思います。

どのホテルも同じ5時半ピックアップはないと思うので、時間の調整や確実なピックアップをお願いしたいです。

Crew was great, food was good, would recommend to all

We continued from last year. This time, we checked the tide conditions and made a reservation, so the water was very shallow and the weather was nice, making it really beautiful. There were many children, so I couldn't be pulled along for snorkeling like last year, but we were able to see a lot of fish, and afterwards, we had a great time playing at SAP. I think I will participate again next year.

昨年に引き続き行ってまいりました。今回も潮の状態を確認し予約したため、水深がとても浅く、天候もよかったためすごくきれいでした。子どもが多く昨年のように手を引っ張ってもらってシュノーケリングというわけにはいきませんでしたが、魚が多く見れ、またその後もＳＡＰで楽しく遊べ良かったです。また、来年も参加すると思います。

The number of units was limited, and there was almost always a wait time. Some people were getting seasick while waiting. The actual time spent diving was very short, which was disappointing.

台数が限られてほとんど待ち時間でした。
人によっては待ってる時間で船酔いしていました。実際に装着して潜った時間もすごく短くて不満だった。

I joined a tour because I wanted to see wild dolphins. Right after we set sail, we encountered a pod of spinner dolphins, and they swam alongside the boat for a long time, jumping several times. The natural dolphin show was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and taught us a lot about Hawaii. It was quite cold when we returned after snorkeling, so I really appreciated the warm drink they provided. I was hoping there would be a hot water shower, but unfortunately, there wasn't.

野生のイルカを見たくてツアーに参加しました。出航してからすぐにマダライルカの群れに会うことができ、長時間船と一緒に泳いでくれたり何度もジャンプもしてくれました。自然のイルカショーはとても最高でした。スタッフの方もとても親切でハワイについて色々と教えてくれました。シュノーケルを終えて帰ってくるときとても寒かったので温かいドリンクの提供ありがたかったです。
温水シャワー付きなのかと思っていたのですがなかったのが残念でした。

It's a bit expensive, but you should choose the PM course. The AM course can be cold if it's not sunny. When it's cloudy or rainy, the water visibility is low and it feels cold. The snorkeling equipment is old and there isn't enough, so I recommend buying some at ABC Store before going.

多少高いがPMコースにするべき。AMコースは晴れていないと寒い。
曇りや雨だと、水の透明度も低く冷たく感じる。シュノーケル機材も古く数も足りないので、ABCストアで買って行くのをお勧めする。

Last time, I participated in a different sandbar tour with Veltra around the same time, but it was so deep that my daughter, who is nearly 140 cm tall, couldn't touch the bottom, and it was cold, so we wanted to try again. It was really great!! We saw a lot of fish and were able to do many marine sports, which was the best. Even my 9-year-old daughter, who can't swim at all, had no problems with snorkeling for the first time. The banana boat was also fantastic. I would love to participate again. If I had to say something, I wish there were a few more drinks available...

前回、同じ時期にベルトラの別のサンドバーツアーに参加しましたが、140センチ近くある娘の足が付かないほど深くて、かつ寒くて今回リベンジ。凄く良かったです！！魚もたくさん見れて、マリンスポーツもたくさん出来て最高でした。全く泳げないシュノーケリングも初体験の9才の娘でも問題ありませんでした。バナナボートも最高でした。また参加したいです。強いて言うなら、もうちょっとドリンク類置いて欲しかったな、、、

We enjoyed this trip a lot. The crew did they best to make sure we had good time and were safe. Live music was awesome!

I saw many comments about seasickness, so I took motion sickness medication beforehand and participated. However, the time to reach the sea turtle spot was shorter than I had imagined, and the rocking of the boat wasn't too severe. The staff provided detailed explanations and kindly encouraged everyone to take photos on board. When we arrived at the spot, each person jumped into the sea, but before that, they checked our snorkeling masks.

We were able to see a total of five sea turtles. In the water, everyone could swim freely, and it felt like we each returned to the boat after fully enjoying the experience. Since I got cold in the sea, it was helpful that there was a restroom on the boat. Although the public restroom at the meeting point was unavailable, there was a notice indicating that we could use the restroom at the hotel right in front, which I appreciated.

船酔いするというコメントが多かったので、事前に酔い止めを飲んで参加しましたが、想像していたよりもウミガメスポットまで移動する時間も短く揺れもそんなに大きくなかった印象です。スタッフは細かい説明もしてくれますし、船内で写真を撮るために声掛けもみんなにしてくれて親切でした。スポットに付くと一人ずつ海に飛び込むのですが、その前にシュノーケリングマスク装着のチェックもしてくれました。
ウミガメは延べ5匹見れました。海の中では各自が自由に遊泳できたし、充分満喫してからそれぞれが船に戻る感じでした。海で体が冷えたので、船内にトイレがあったのも助かりました。集合場所にある公衆トイレは使用できなかったですが、すぐ前のホテルのトイレが使用できるとの張り紙があり使わせていただきました。

I participated in a snorkeling experience in Hawaii. I was able to encounter sea turtles underwater, which was an emotional moment. Looking back, I could see Diamond Head in its entirety, and the location was fantastic. Additionally, the staff were very friendly, allowing me to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. It became a wonderful memory that I will cherish.

ハワイでのシュノーケリング体験に参加しました。海の中ではウミガメに出会うことができ、感動的なひとときでした。振り返ればダイヤモンドヘッドが一望でき、ロケーションも最高です。さらにスタッフの方々がとても気さくで、安心して楽しむことができました。思い出に残る素晴らしい体験になりました。

We participated as a couple. We were a bit anxious since we were the only Japanese people there, but the staff member Tamae provided us with detailed explanations in Japanese and frequently checked in with us, which made us feel at ease. The manta rays in the night sea were incredibly powerful, and it was a very mystical experience.

夫婦で参加させてもらいました。日本人が私たちのみで不安でしたが、スタッフのタマエさんが日本語で丁寧な説明や頻回な声かけをしてくださり安心できました。夜の海でのマンタは大迫力で、とても神秘的な体験ができました。

Even with cloudy weather, I was able to see turtles perfectly. The water clarity was high, and it truly felt like a natural aquarium with a wonderful view! Overall, I was very satisfied. I would like to participate again!

- If you're worried about guidance in English, it's good to let the staff know in advance, as they will pay attention to you.
- The meeting point is in front of the public restroom next to the Prince Hotel. If you're unsure, it's better to ask the hotel staff.
- It was written that drinks and snacks were included in the tour, but it didn't feel like they were being handed out. When I asked for juice, I was told it would be $4, and they showed me a menu card where the prices were indeed listed. When I confirmed that I was participating in the free drink plan, they said, "OK, then it's free!" It was a bit inconvenient that I had to confirm this myself.

曇りの天気でもばっちり亀に会えました。透明度も高く、まさに天然の水族館、素晴らしい眺めでした！全体的に大満足。
また参加したい！
・英語での案内に不安があれば先に言っておけばスタッフが気にしてくれるのでよかった
・待ち合わせポイントはプリンスホテル横の公衆トイレ前。分からなければホテルスタッフに聞いた方が良い
・ツアーの含まれるものにドリンク、スナックと書いてあったが、配られる感じではなかった。ジュースが欲しいと言ったら4ドルと言われ、メニューカードあるからどうぞ、と見てみたら確かに値段が書いてあった。「フリードリンクプランに参加なんだけど‥」と確認したら「OKじゃあ無料で！」と言われた。こちらから確認しなければならなかったのが少々不便。

The sandbar was not a beach but a shallow area that was about knee-deep. However, since I checked the tide data in advance, I was able to enjoy it quite a bit. Everyone had fun playing beach volleyball and practicing snorkeling.

The hamburgers for lunch were incredibly delicious. I was also amazed by the number of sea turtles we saw.

The final snorkeling experience was wonderful, with clear water and lots of tropical fish. Even for someone like me who isn't a strong swimmer, it was enjoyable.

All the crew members were fantastic, always keeping us entertained and paying close attention to safety, for which I am very grateful.

サンドバーは砂浜ではなく膝下くらいまで浸かる浅瀬でしたが、それは事前に干潮満潮データを見て行っていたので、それはそれなりに楽しめました。みんなビーチバレーやシュノーケルの練習を行い楽しかったです。
昼食のハンバーガーもめちゃくちゃ美味しくいただきました。
ウミガメウォッチもめちゃくちゃいて驚きました。
最後のシュノーケルは水中がきれいで熱帯魚達がたくさんいました。泳ぎが苦手な私でも楽しめました。
クルーの方々全員素晴らしい方で常に楽しませていただき、安全にも十分気を配っていただき感謝です。

We participated with two children, aged 10 and 7, and three adults. There were only two Japanese couples in our group, along with people from France, Canada, and South Korea, making it a multicultural experience. They asked if we were okay with English, and when I replied that I could understand a little, they kindly gathered the Japanese group and earnestly explained safety points while reading from their smartphones in Japanese. I was really touched by their effort!

The children, who were snorkeling for the first time, were a bit anxious at first, but just five minutes in, they were having so much fun! A sea turtle surfaced right where my daughter was, and even though the crew told us to stay back, it came closer. We ended up face to face, just 20 centimeters apart, which was an incredible experience. We also saw a couple of turtles, and the underwater world was truly moving; it was such a wonderful place.

I thought that if you go to Hawaii, you really shouldn't miss this. I will definitely use this service again next time. Thank you very much!

子供10歳、7歳と大人3人で参加しました。
日本人グループは私たちとご夫婦の二組のみ。フランスやカナダ、韓国と多国籍の方々も居ました。
英語大丈夫？と聞いてくれて、私が少しだけ、と答えると、日本人グループを集めて安全のこと中心にポイントをスマホの日本語を読みながら優しく一生懸命話してくれました。その気持ちが嬉しかったです！
シュノーケル初めての子どもたちも不安がっていましたが、開始5分後には楽しい！と夢中に。海亀が海面に出るタイミングがちょうど娘のいる所で、(離れて！とcrewたちがいうものの近づいてきてしまいました)顔と顔が至近距離！20センチのところで目が合って大迫力だったとのこと。夫婦亀も見れて海の中は感動、ホントに素敵な世界でした。
ハワイに行ったらやらなきゃ損だなと思いました。次回も利用します。ありがとうございました。

Since the time of participation was close to high tide, the depth was nearly 70 centimeters, but I had researched beforehand and was satisfied, so it was not a problem. On the contrary, I would like to visit again during low tide.

Even though it was high tide, we went out to sea, so the area around the sandbar was deep. I was able to take photos where the color of the sea was distinctly different.

The honu also came close to the boat! The bright staff allowed us to enjoy activities like snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding!

参加日の時間帯は満潮に近かったため、腰　70センチ近くの深さはありましたが、事前に調べて納得した上で参加したので問題ありませんでした。逆に浅瀬の時にまた訪問してみたいと思いました。
満潮といえ、沖に出ていますので、サンドバーの周りは深い海。海の色がくっきり違う写真が撮れました。
ホヌも船の近くまで来てくれました！
明るいスタッフ、シュノーケルとsupなどのアクティビティを楽しむことができました！

The explanation for snorkeling was easy to understand, and all the staff were friendly. The guide showed us a sea urchin that he picked up while free diving and helped us find sea turtles. There were some waves, which made it a bit challenging, but it was great to meet the sea turtles.

シュノーケリングの説明はわかりやすい英語で、スタッフは皆親切です。
ガイドさんはウニを素潜りで拾い見せてくれたり、ウミガメを探して位置を教えてくれました。
波があり少し苦戦しましたが、ウミガメに会えてとても良かったです。

With a crew of six, including Japanese staff, we set sail on a new boat with a capacity of about 40 people, under clear skies and gentle winds—perfect weather. After about an hour without spotting any dolphins, we received news of a dolphin sighting from another boat. We rushed to the spot and found the dolphins, and with the signal "GOGO," we took turns jumping into the sea. We were able to see a pod of five dolphins swimming together! After returning to the boat and moving a bit further, we encountered a large group of dolphins! With the second "GOGO" signal, we dove in again. Amazingly, more than ten dolphins swam close to us, including a baby dolphin! Everyone was able to swim with the dolphins. After that, we snorkeled in shallow waters. My wife and I had to retreat to the boat early due to seasickness. I wish we had taken motion sickness medication beforehand. Other guests were also feeling unwell, so it's essential to prepare for seasickness. Thank you to Ryuichi and all the crew for an incredible experience! Mahalo!

日本人のクルーも含めて6名？のスタッフと、快晴かつ風も弱い、最高の天気の中、40名？定員の新しい船で出航。1時間ほどイルカが見つからない中、仲間の船からイルカ目撃の知らせ。スポットへ急ぎイルカを発見、GOGOの合図で順々に海へ飛び込む。5頭のイルカが群れで泳いでいる所を見ることができました！1度船に戻り少し走ると、たくさんのイルカの群れが！GOGOの合図で2度目のダイブ。なんと10頭以上のイルカが次々に近くを泳いでくれて、こどものイルカまで！全員がイルカと泳ぐことができました。その後は浅瀬でシュノーケル。私と妻は船酔いで早めに船上へ退散。酔い止めを飲んでおけばよかった。他のお客さんもAlohaしてる方がいたので、船酔い対策は必須ですね。Ryuichiさんはじめ、クルーの皆さん最高の体験をありがとうございました！Mahalo！

At the initial gathering, I heard that we were the only two Japanese people, which made me a bit anxious. However, our tour guide Ryuichi was kind and taught us thoroughly, and we had a great time. He also explained the history of Hawaii in detail, which was very educational. It was moving to see a mother and baby dolphin. Additionally, the slide from the boat was very impressive and a rare experience. Snorkeling allowed us to see fish and beautiful scenery, which was breathtaking. Thank you very much, Ryuichi!!!

最初の集合時に日本人は私達の二人だけと聞き少し不安な気持ちになりましたが
ツアーガイドのRyuichiさんに優しく丁寧に教えて貰いとても楽しめました。
ハワイの歴史についても丁寧に教えて頂き勉強になりました。
イルカの親子を見ることができとても感動しました。また、船内からの滑り台はとても迫力があり貴重な体験でした。
シュノーケリングは魚を見れて綺麗な景色が見れ感動しました。

I was expecting the sandbar to be on the beach, but the water level was higher than I thought. However, the water was clear. The staff were very friendly and took photos for us.

We were able to see manta rays and sea turtles, which was amazing.

The hamburger for lunch was delicious.

The snorkeling wasn't great at first because the water clarity wasn't very good, making it hard to find fish, but by the time I got used to it, I was able to see plenty of tropical fish.

After snorkeling, there were warm drinks available, and I enjoyed some cocoa.

Above all, the staff were fantastic, and I had a great time. Thank you!

サンドバーは砂浜の上に立てるのを期待していたが思っていたより水位があった。でも水は綺麗だった。スタッフの人もいろいろと声をかけてくれて写真も撮ってくれた。
マンタも海亀も見ることが出来て最高。

シュノーケリングは海の透明度があまり良くなく最初は魚を探すのが大変だったけれど、慣れた頃には熱帯魚をいっぱい見られました。

シュノーケリング終了後は温かい飲み物の用意が有りココアでほっこり。

I was a bit anxious about whether I would really get to see sea turtles, but I was thrilled to see several of them up close. The staff also entered the water and would point out where the turtles were when they found them. However, the clarity of the water itself isn't that great, so while you can see the turtles up close if they are near, it's hard to see them well if they are a bit farther away. In fact, it's better to take off the mask they provide and see the turtles with your bare eyes as they come up to the surface multiple times. It's moving to see their adorable faces at the same eye level underwater!

Also, from the boat, you can enjoy views of the streets of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and people surfing, showcasing the quintessential Hawaii scenery. It was a lot of fun, combining a bit of cruising as well.

本当にウミガメに会えるのか少し不安もありましたが、何匹も間近に見ることができて感激しました。
スタッフさんも海の中に入り、ウミガメを見つけるとどこにいるかを教えてくれます。
ただ海自体の透明度はそれほどないため、水中でもウミガメが近くにいれば見えますが、少し離れるとよく見ることはできません。むしろ水面に何度も顔を出すウミガメを、貸し出ししてくれるマスクを外して裸眼で見る方がよく見れます。愛らしい顔を海の中で同じ目線で見られて感動します！
また、船上からはワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッド、サーフィンを楽しんでいる人々など、ザ・ハワイといった景観も充分見ることができ、ちょっとしたクルージングも兼ねてとても楽しめました。

During my long-awaited trip to Hawaii, I wanted to try snorkeling at Hanauma Bay even as a solo traveler in my 60s, so I signed up for a tour. As many have shared in their experiences, Chieko and Dan's hospitality was wonderful. They efficiently and kindly taught us how to put on the wetsuits and how to use the equipment and fins, making it easy for beginners to enjoy. I was worried about whether I could keep up at my age, but Chieko frequently checked in with me, asking, "Are you okay?" while guiding me along. I was thrilled to swim alongside sea turtles for quite a long time. I also got to meet a sleeping seal.

久しぶりのハワイで、60代の一人旅でもハナウマ湾のシュノーケリングに挑戦したくて、ツアーに申し込みました。体験談で皆さんが書いていますが、ちえこさんとダンさんのホスピタリティが素晴らしく、ウエットスーツの着方から用具・フィンの付け方などテキパキと丁寧に教えていただき、初心者でも安心して楽しめました。高齢の私がついていけるか心配でしたが、ちえこさんが、時々「大丈夫？」と確認しながら手を引いて誘導してくださいました。ウミガメとかなり長い間一緒に泳げて感激しました。寝ているあざらし君にも会えました。
ちえこさん、ダンさん、ほんとにありがとうございました。これからもどうぞお元気で、皆さんのためにこのツアーを続けてくださいね。
