Riding a kayak was exciting for me, especially since I haven't had much experience with boats in Japan. It felt more like being on a board floating on the sea (though it was stable), which was a strange sensation. At first, I struggled with bumping into others and not being able to move forward smoothly, but as time passed, I was able to pick up speed.

The sea was very clear and beautiful. Paddling through it on a sea kayak felt like returning to nature, as if I had become one with it, and it was incredibly refreshing.

I was a bit nervous about the caves at first, but they were cool and interesting. Next time, I want to explore a larger cave with a kayak! ^^

カヤックに乗るのはもちろん、日本でもあまりボートとか乗ったことがないので、ドキドキでした。カヤックはボートというより、海の上に浮いている板に乗っているような感覚で（とはいえ、安定はしていましたが）、不思議な感覚でした。最初は他の人にぶつかったり、うまく前に進めなかったりと悪戦苦闘しましたが、時間が経つにつれ、スピードを上げることも出来ました。

In the morning, I participated in the sea kayak cave exploration, and in the afternoon, I relaxed with shopping, at the beach, and by the hotel pool. I think the reason I had such a fulfilling day was that the morning tour was really great.

Once I got on the sea kayak, I felt like a local as I paddled out into the sea. The instructor was quite reliable and kindly guided us. The kayak was narrower and had a lower edge than boats in Japan, so it felt like I was sitting in the water. My wife was initially scared and was squealing, but she gradually got used to it.

The caves were mysterious, and the fact that you could only access them by kayak added to the sense of adventure, which was really fun. It was a wonderful experience.

その日は午前中はこのシーカヤックの海中洞窟探検に参加し、午後はショッピングやビーチやホテルのプールなどでゆっくり過ごしました。なかなか充実した気分で１日過ごせたのは、午前中のこのツアーがとてもよかったからだと思います。

シーカヤックに乗ると、現地の人になった気分で海に漕ぎ出ました。なかなか頼もしい指導員の方が親切にご指導して下さいました。
日本のボートよりも幅が狭く縁の高さが低いので海に座っている感覚でした。家内などは最初はこわがってきゃーきゃーと言っていましたが、だんだん慣れたようでした。

洞窟も神秘的で、カヤックでしか行けないというのが冒険心を煽られて楽しかったですね。
とてもいい体験ができました。

When you think of Hawaii, you think of surfing! So, I took my first challenge. Since the board is big, it's easy to balance and you'll be able to ride it quickly! The waiting time for waves can be long, so I recommend the intensive course because an hour and a half goes by in no time.

One thing to be careful about is that I accidentally forgot to put sunscreen on my legs, and I ended up with swelling and a bad experience, so don't forget it!

大きいボードなのでバランスが取りやすくすぐに乗れるようになりますよ！

I thought it would be great to paddle a sea kayak myself, which feels very outdoorsy, so I joined the adventure. It was quite a good experience. Since sea kayaking is close to the water's surface, it was fun to glide along the ocean. I was a bit worried about what would happen if big waves came, but there were no such waves, and I was relieved when I safely reached the cave. The inside of the cave was wonderful too. They said the walls were pink, and they really were, beautiful indeed. Gliding through the cave in the kayak was a unique sensation. I also enjoyed snorkeling and diving into the beautiful sea. It was a lot of fun.

I'm glad I participated. At first, balancing on the kayak was difficult, but I quickly became a pro-level paddler. When we went out to the middle of the ocean, I wondered if I would be okay, but the instructor frequently checked in on us, which was reassuring.

Paddling through the sea caves was an amazing experience. It felt strange to navigate through areas that could only be accessed by kayak, where there was no solid ground. It was a very interesting experience. The snorkeling afterward was also great; the water was clear, and tropical fish were swimming nearby, which was a lot of fun.

I'm really glad I took part in this.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island! Our guides, Kevin and Noni, were wonderful with tidbits of history about the island! The kayaking was so much fun as well as the snorkeling. They fed the fish so we could see more fish as we were snorkeling. Kevin demonstrated the jumping off the cliff into the ocean and my daughter followed! It is well worth the reasonable fee for a great workout and exploration of what the Big Island has to offer! Thank you Kevin and Noni for making it such a great experience!

I joined this tour because I wanted to entertain my children. Since I usually don't get to spend much time playing with them due to work, I thoroughly enjoyed communicating with them while kayaking together.

The feeling of paddling into the cave was indescribably exciting, and it sparked a sense of adventure within me. If possible, I would like to challenge myself with a more authentic cave experience next time (like progressing in complete darkness relying on headlamps). I felt like I returned to my childhood and became closer to my son. He even said, "Dad was the most excited" ^^;

I was also moved by how beautiful the sea was. I'm satisfied that I could show my children such a beautiful place.

子供達を楽しませたいと思い、このツアーに参加しました。普段は仕事でなかなか一緒に遊んであげることも少ないので、子供と一緒にカヤックに乗ってコミュニケーションを思い切り楽しみました。

洞窟の中にカヤックに乗って進む感覚は何ともいえず、ワクワクするものがあり、冒険心が湧き起こる気持ちがしました。出来れば今度はもっと本格的な洞窟（真っ暗な中をヘッドライトを頼りに進むとか）に挑みたい気もしました。童心にかえって、息子と仲良くなれた気もします。「パパが一番はしゃいでいた」と言われてしまいましたが^^;

This tour had everything we wanted to do in Hawaii: enjoying the ocean, experiencing nature, and being active ourselves! The underwater cave was a bit nerve-wracking, but the ocean leading up to it was incredibly clear, and we could see all the way to the bottom while kayaking, which was breathtaking. It was my first time kayaking, and it felt great. It felt much closer to the ocean than being on a boat, and I wanted to take it home with me.

Exploring the cave was also refreshing; I had walked through caves in Japan before, but this was my first time moving over water. It was a bit scary, but it felt like a thrilling amusement park ride (of course, nothing scary actually came out).

It was also a great memory to bond with the other participants. If I ever go to Hawaii again, I would love to go kayaking again.

海を満喫したいのと、ハワイの自然を楽しみたいのと、自分達でも体を動かして体験したいのと、私たちが「ハワイでしたいこと」の全部を持っているツアーでした！海中洞窟はちょっとドキドキでしたが、そこに行くまでの海が透明度バツグンで、カヤックを操作しながらも底まで見えるので、感動でした。カヤック自体初めてでしたが、乗っていて気持ちよかったです。ボートよりももっと海に近い感じで、家に持って帰りたいくらいでした。

一緒に参加した人達とも和気藹々と盛り上がれたのもいい思い出です。今度ハワイに行くことがあったらまたカヤックには乗りたいです。

Everyone, including the guide, was a foreigner, and we were the only Japanese participants.

On the day of the event, the waves were quite high, and I ended up feeling a bit seasick at the end.

Don't plan on going into this activity thinking you will be in your own kayak.

Oceans Kayaks, who provides the kayaks and tour guides, etc. DO NOT have sufficient amounts of single kayaks to appease their guests. We, as an adult family of four, were looking forward to going on this adventure in individual kayaks. My fiancee and I kayak often and my daughter also has taken to kayaking. We wanted singles and were never (especially when booking online) given the option of singles vs. doubles. When we arrived, we expressed our desire for singles and were brushed off by employees who did not want to think outside the box.

After much debate, we resigned ourselves to complete the activity and it was very enjoyable. We had great guides and we experienced quite a bit. We were hoping to snorkel a little longer, but we had a great time regardless.

We do recommend this activity, but only if you don't mind being forced to take doubles kayaks.

Took the trip as an introductory dive. Great dive masters, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Great dive site, saw lots of turtles, fish, corals, etc.

My only recommendation would be to do some dive training at home. I had some trouble equalizing my ears and almost a week later, still have some issues. Nothing painful but uncomfortable.

I experienced parasailing for the first time with my elementary school daughter. The wind was quite strong that day, so we swayed like a swing and didn't have much opportunity to enjoy the scenery. My daughter said she enjoyed the speed of the boat going out to sea more than the parasailing itself. We also took a photo of her splashing into the cold sea up to her waist, which became a nice memory. I paid $20 for the film and chips.

This ride is sooooo much fun. Anyone can do it. Don't think you are too skinny or too fat. Either way you are getting a great ride. We even saw a guy that weighed 290 ride with a guy who was 240. Over 500 pounds and up they went like they were butterflies. The day we went the waves were choppy and it caused a little sea sickness for a couple of us but other than that we had an outstanding time.Our group had teens, 20's, 40's and 50's. Everyone screamed for joy. It was a great time.

We reluctantly participated at the children's request. Perhaps because it was fully booked with a capacity of 12 people, our family of three was sent up all at once. I was worried about exceeding the weight limit, but it turned out to be fine. The parasailing was fun, but since we were sent up in a sort of assembly line manner, I had some doubts about whether this is how it usually is... It's important to check the time slots for reservations.

We had the time of our lives! We were on our honeymoon and I had no experience, my husband had very little. The crew members made this so enjoyable. They called all of us by our names, they made sure we were having fun and comfortable. They took the time to explain everything to us and answer any questions. The experience was amazing, the fish and coral were spectacualar. We even saw a reef shark! Exciting! We always felt safe and had a blast. Anne didn't give up on me when I had a hard time getting used to snuba diving, quickly she had me down enjoying the adventure. They were so funny and everyone had a great time. The captain was so funny and helpful. Do yourself a favor, enjoy this adventure and use this crew...they were amazing!

As a group of 5, ranging in age from 14-66,experienced and non-experienced kayakers, we had a truly phenomenal time.The expertise and knowledge of our guides Brett and Kevin created a unique and memorable experience for all.This is an activity which we would definitely repeat on a future visit.Water shoes and a good underwater camera are a must!

I attended with my two neices, who are very afraid of water. The BOB offered them the opportunity to experience the ocean and its inhabitants without knowing how to swim. They were truly overjoyed with their experience under water. We were all a bit concerned, at first, with the staff who didn't interact well with customers but once everyone experienced the BOB they began to interact more with customers.

This was an oustanding tour. Although it was windy, the hard work was worth it. Visiting the off shore island was exciting, diving into the coral pool (Queen's Bath) was way cool, snorkeling over the coral reefs was great and seeing two Hawaiian Green sea turtles was magical! The only negatives were some of the masks leaked and my friend got a moldy sandwich (which was relaced). I would highly recommend this tour, but it's not for children.

I personally have no problem with roller coasters, but I screamed a lot during this parasailing. The height was much higher than I had imagined, and the view was really great. They take a few photos for about $25 on the boat, so I definitely think you should have them take your pictures (you'll get the film).

This was a unique experience and is a great way to get underwater if you are afraid to scuba dive or want to try something other than skorkel.

The only downside was the service was a bit below par compared with some of the other services we were getting. They were not rude, but definitely not that friendly. They acted like they didn't want to be there and seemed to rush everything. The exception is the young man, who appears to be Hawaiian. He took interest and appeared to enjoy his job.

Kids (aged 14 and 15) went up while my 11 year old and I rode along. Seas were a little choppy, but not horrible, yet I still got a little motion sickness. The crew took awesome care of me and showed genuine concern. They took nice photo's of the experience (not of me, thanks) for the kids to enjoy. Huge success for the kids, but if you think you might get the least bit of a queasy stomach, take a pill before boarding! :)

We had a wonderful time on our Keauhou Sea Cave Kayak Adventure. Our main guide, Kevin, was wonderful. He was very concerned about our safety and enjoyment of the outing. We were able to kayak into a large sea cave before paddling over to our snorkeling destination. Many were adventurous and jumped off the 25 foot high cliff into the water, including my husband! One of our daughters and I snorkeled away from the main group a bit and I saw a few hundred yellow tang - more than I've ever seen before! There were many other kinds of fish there as well as Hawaii's state fish. Our oldest daughter had her snorkeling cut short when she got stung by a small jelly fish on the foot, as did one or two others in our tour, but that's a risk when in the ocean. Kevin and another Ocean Safari staff member who was there with his own tour both checked on our daughter after getting her back in the kayak. When you arrive at the establishment, everyone is very helpful. You watch a video of what to look forward to. Only thing I would have wished was for a small map that we could have taken with us, instead there's a big one on the wall. So what I did was take a picture of it with my camera. It's an easy walk to the beach, then you depart. It's great!! We opted for the bag, definitely do it, you can put everything you don't want wet in there. The views are great and you get a great workout for your arms, always a plus. Once you get to the islands, you get amazing views!! Some you can even snorkel in. Would be visiting again soon!

My 15 year old son and I had an awesome time and would love to go again! Everything went well, from the online registration to on site check in to the parasailing itself. What really made the trip for us were the two guys that ran the show. They were friendly, polite and put you at ease right away. They totally made the experience. We got the photos and are so glad we did - they turned out great and captured the experience even better than we hoped.

I was really scared to do this but my 14 year old son wanted to try it. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and professional with the equipment. They are also really funny and nice. They tell you exactly what you need to do. It was fabulous! We had the best time, and loved the experience. The crew is great. They will even take pictures for you for an extra fee of $15 (you take the film home.) Don't forget to bring money for a tip. You don't really need the extra towels, change of clothes, and you can buy water there. If I return to Hawaii I will do this again!
