This is the tour for people who like to be on there own once they get there. This is broken into two parts morning activity and afternoon activity. You have a fully narrated ride over to the North Shore telling you virtually everything about the island. Also all landmarks are pointed out. You arrive get snacks if needed. You are then dropped off at your first activity. The falls etc. Pk up time is set you meet back at bus and your off to bike,kayak,shop or lunch or whatever. Your pk up time is set for your hassle free ride back to waikiki. All fully narrated back. Worth every penny. AC was our guide and knew everything about the island. Was the highlight of our trip.

I participated with a friend! There were about 10 participants, including couples from South America, Korea, and China, and we were the only Japanese people. There were two guys, one driving the boat and the other speeding it up, and they were very skilled at operating the boat, allowing us to fly higher than other parasailing boats. They also adjusted the height, letting everyone dip their legs in the water a bit, but it wasn't a sudden drop, so it wasn't scary at all and was really fun. They suggested taking photos, but everyone was passing around their iPhones within their groups to take pictures of each other. Despite that, the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly.

いました。高低差も出してくれて、みんな脚が少しチャポンと着くように一度下げてくれたりしましたが、急な下げ方でもなく、怖くなく、とても楽しかったです。
写真も勧められたが、みんな各グループでiPhoneを渡してお互いに写真撮っていました。それでも感じ悪くもなく、いい雰囲気でした。

Our family of three had our first experience. We challenged ourselves at a height of 120 meters. The captain and the staff who operated the boat were very kind and fun. This tour was just for our family of three. I would like to say we enjoyed the open sea, but I suffered from severe seasickness and was not in a state to enjoy it. Also, it required more physical stamina than I expected, so you should go in good health. I appreciate the staff's thoughtfulness. If you're in good shape, I think the tour itself can be a fun and great experience.

We were a family of four (a couple, a 12-year-old, and a 6-year-old girl) and rented a car to get to the location. Since we arrived early, we spent some time feeding the fish in the sea with leftover bread from breakfast. It was really interesting to see so many fish gather around. It seemed like it was quite windy that day. My wife and our 12-year-old took motion sickness medication before boarding, so they didn't feel seasick at all. Initially, the couple and the 6-year-old jumped together, and then the 12-year-old joined us for the next jump. My wife and I were able to jump twice. It was 120 meters, but 150 meters might have been better. The kids usually don't like heights, but they were very happy thanks to the beautiful scenery and the thrill. We also purchased photos for $30. They looked like they were taken by a professional, so I definitely recommend buying them. We did various activities during our 9 days in Hawaii, but it seems that this was the kids' favorite memory. Please make sure to experience it!

I saw this tour on TV and decided to participate, and I'm really glad I did. Thank you so much, Kevin! The weather was great on the day of the tour, perfect for kayaking (sunscreen is a must).

It was easy for me because my husband, who came with me, has canoeing experience, but the distance to the cave is somewhat considerable. It might be a bit tough for beginners. However, the guide keeps a close eye on everyone, so I don't think you need to worry. The guide also took photos at various points and sent them to us via email later, so it's fine if you don't have a camera. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case and hung it around my neck, and that was enough for both videos and photos.

There’s snorkeling as well, but it lasts quite a while. I have low muscle mass and get cold easily, so I got out of the water early, but they can accommodate individual needs, so if you're a woman who gets cold easily, you can stop anytime (the sea is beautiful and you can see various creatures). Also, we were treated to pineapple and snacks on the kayak (thank you!).

シュノーケルもありますが、割と時間長めです。私は筋肉が少なくて身体が冷えやすいので、寒くなって途中で海から上がりましたが、そこら辺は個人に合わせて貰えるので、女性で寒がりの人はすぐにやめてもいいかと思います(海は綺麗で色んな生き物が見られます)。あと、途中でカヤック上でパイナップルとおやつまでご馳走になりました(ありがとうございます)。
帰る時はシャワーはないので、集合場所の隣のホテルのトイレで着替えて帰る感じです。
3月半ばですが、特に寒くはありませんでした。とても楽しかったです。機会があればまた参加したいです！この度は大変お世話になりました！ありがとうございました(*^_^*)

In March, I was disappointed by the weather, but the staff was quick and efficient, which made me feel at ease during the experience. I participated only in parasailing, with a pickup at 7:50 and returned to the hotel by 10:30. I chose the highest course (150m?), but I think the crew might not have been aware of it. The airtime seemed to be less than 10 minutes... It was unexpectedly a physically demanding activity, so I have no complaints about the short duration.

Although it was an additional charge, they took various photos and videos for each group, selling them as a set for about $60. Since it was just my spouse and me, we didn't buy them, but I think we would have if we had children with us. (I heard they can charge it to the hotel if you don't have cash on hand.)

You can bring a certain amount of luggage (like one beach bag) and a bath towel onto the boat. They advise against bringing valuables, but don't forget to tip... After the activity, we took a taxi boat back, which was incredible. It sped through high waves at an unbelievable pace, and I was desperately trying not to be thrown off. アクティビティ後、タクシーボートにのって帰りますが、これが凄まじかった。波の高いところを信じられない程の全速力ですすむもので、振り落とされないように必死でした。救命胴衣もつけずにあれはちょっと無茶なのでは…無事だったので楽しい思い出の１つになりました。

I experienced the 150m parasailing. The parasailing itself was very fun!!! The staff spoke a little Japanese for explanations, so I could understand. However, the boat was very shaky, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are prone to motion sickness... They even told me that if I felt like throwing up, I could do it in the sea, haha.

I signed up with a shuttle service. It was my first time paragliding, and since everyone on the same boat was foreign and I couldn't speak much English, I was nervous. However, they helped me with some basic Japanese, and I was able to mimic what the person in front of me was doing and enjoyed the experience! You can get the photo data for $30! I was told that there would be no shuttle bus for the return trip (was it due to traffic regulations from the Honolulu Festival?), which was a bit of a hassle, but since I booked the trip through JTB, there was a bus stop nearby, and I managed to get back to my hotel... The shuttle service had a driver who spoke very little Japanese. The crew on the boat also spoke very little Japanese, but we were able to enjoy ourselves without any issues. I think it's a good idea to put your phone in a waterproof case that you can hang around your neck while parasailing, as it allows you to take pictures of the view from the sky!

私たちは写真撮影をお願いしたのですが、購入したSDカードをうっかり紛失。
ホテルの部屋に戻ってそのことに気付いたのですが、すぐに部屋に電話があり、ベルトラのご担当者の方から「帰りの車内にSDカードの落し物があったので、今からドライバーさんに届けてもらいます」とお伝え頂きました。
その後、無事にドライバーさんと落ち合うことができ、SDカードを届けて頂きました。
ベルトラのご担当者の方、ドライバーさん、皆さん本当に親切で、感謝してもしきれません。
今後どこかの国でオプショナルツアーをお願いする時も、ベルトラさんで申し込もうと思います。
ちなみに、ドライバーさん、インストラクターさんは英語オンリーですが、コミュニケーションロスで不便することは特にありませんでした。

The boat crew and divers were friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We definitely want to do again and bring our whole family. Experiencing close encounters with sea turtles, sea stars, and numerous species of fish was thrilling. The crew has 7 scuba scooters with a diver to assist each scooter. The divers make sure each participant is safe, feels comfortable, and points out the aquatic life while also allowing independent discovery. While waiting your turn to scooter, we had a wonderful time snorkeling on our own. The waters are clear and beautiful and allow perfect visibility. For an extra fee you can get pictures and a video of your adventure. The diver captured some of my favorite vacation pictures!

My first surfing experience became a wonderful memory. Before I started, I was worried about whether I could ride the waves, but the instructor taught me patiently, and I was able to enjoy surfing with my friends. Some of the instructors spoke Japanese, so even if you're not very good at English, I think you'll have a great time. I was able to have photos taken while I was surfing, and I received them for free afterward. It was a bit disappointing that it was cold. Next time, I want to be able to ride bigger waves.

I participated in a 120M parasailing with my daughter early in the morning. Under the guidance of two cheerful instructors, we headed out to the vast ocean.

Parasailing while gazing at Diamond Head was amazing. The 8 minutes felt incredibly long. I was a bit concerned about seasickness, but it wasn't a problem at all. It might have been due to the waves that day.
