This year, I challenged myself to stand-up paddleboarding, which is quite out of character for me. Thanks to Mieko's strict yet accurate guidance (and a few laughs), I was able to reach Bopoiya Island despite falling in multiple times. I was able to take many wonderful photos from great angles, creating fun memories. I highly recommend wearing a life jacket!

I participated in the tour that started at 8:30. Picking up participants at three hotels went smoothly, but after that, it was a long wait. There was a long line to sign in, and we had to wait to move to the base, and even after arriving at the base, we had to wait quite a bit (to switch with those who had finished).

I thought I would be back at the hotel around 10:30, but I didn’t return until just before noon. If you have plans in the afternoon, I recommend allowing extra time.

Parasailing was incredibly enjoyable and fun; even for someone like me who is not fond of heights, it was not scary at all. Choosing to go up to 150 meters was definitely the right decision!

When moving from the base to the boat for parasailing (which felt like about 5 minutes), and while waiting for others to finish parasailing, it’s easy to get seasick. If you are prone to seasickness, I think taking medication is essential.

There were staff members who spoke Japanese, and the instructors were familiar with Japanese people, so I had no trouble with communication at all.

Overall, I am very satisfied!

そこからが長かったです。

150mにして正解でした！

拠点からパラセーリングをする船に移動する時(体感5分くらい)と、他の方がパラセーリングをしている待っている間が船酔いしやすいです。
船酔いされる方は薬は必須かと思います。

Officeの方には日本語を話せる方もおり、インストラクターも日本人慣れしていて、言葉には全く不自由しませんでした。

Once a year, I do an activity! This year it was parasailing! The weather was perfect and the crew was friendly! The views and the sense of freedom were amazing! This was the best activity of the year. I'm glad I chose Veltra without hesitation!

The boarding and disembarking from the boat were smooth, so there was nothing to worry about. I got to see Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana, and Diamond Head all at once—what a fantastic feeling! This is something everyone should experience at least once!

After getting off the boat, I saw the photos (for a fee) and they made for a great keepsake with Diamond Head in the background. The tip was just a small amount, so there was nothing to worry about!

A beautiful, unique, and memorable experience. The guide was friendly and helpful, everyone was able to paddle up the river at their own pace, the river is lined with greenery, but the real treats were the hike along a gorgeous trail with amazing foliage and, of course, the waterfall. Swimming in the pool at the base of the waterfall and looking up at the water pouring over the cliff is an experience like no other. I went with my teenage daughter on a beautiful sunny day. There were no significant recent rains, so the trail was not muddy or slippery and the hike wasn't strenuous at all. I highly recommend this tour!

We three challenged ourselves to parasailing for the first time, and it was helpful that we had a pick-up from the hotel at 7:40 AM. The height was 90 meters, and I was worried about whether we could go up together as three or if we would be paired with another group of two and one. However, the weather was good, and we were able to go up as a group of three. On the day, the crew asked if we wanted to purchase photos, but we declined. Other groups had their photos taken while parasailing, looking like they were about to fall into the big mouth of Jaws; I didn’t ask about the price, so I'm not sure. I secured an action camera to my left wrist and got permission to take photos while we were up, and it was a success! However, I forgot to take motion sickness medication, and after we landed on the boat, I felt nauseous and had to endure it while waiting for the rest of the group to finish. It was tough. A couple with two small children had their kids secured on their laps and went up as a group of four. My wife, my nephew, and I had a great time, and the scenery was beautiful, so we were very satisfied! Motion sickness medication is a must. Since we paid for the tour with a credit card, I gave a $30 tip when we got off the boat.

We were picked up by the hotel and after waiting for about 10 minutes, we boarded a boat with six groups and headed out to sea. The view from the boat was amazing with the blue sky and ocean. Everyone felt like friends, and we had fun high-fiving each other.

We had booked the parasailing for 150. The breathtaking view from the top was indescribable. It was beautiful! So much fun!!! The landing with a splash into the sea was also enjoyable.

On the way back, we stayed in Kaka'ako and enjoyed Walmart.

Even though I usually wakeboard, I got seasick, and my two friends took motion sickness pills but still felt sick! It seems like it was a bit of a rough day on the waves. The weather was nice, and the scenery was amazing! Also, it seems like we should have mentioned that we wanted someone to take our pictures at the beginning (for $30), but we didn't have any. Haha.

The crew was very entertaining! At first, I thought it would be scary, but once we took off, I felt no fear at all. In fact, it felt more stable than the boat, even though it was shaking a bit, haha. I did feel quite nauseous from the boat ride, so it might be good to have some motion sickness medication available.

We were in a group of four, and since we boarded the boat one group at a time, there was some waiting time. For those who are prone to motion sickness, that might be tough. However, it truly turned out to be a wonderful experience! If you can endure the nausea, it will become a fantastic memory!

I was quite anxious about participating alone as a woman and my limited English skills, but surfing in Hawaii was something I had wanted to do for three years, so I decided to go for it!

To my surprise, I heard a lot of Japanese being spoken here and there! The only activity on this trip made me a bit nervous, but the person who picked us up was very cheerful, which helped me relax! The crew didn't speak Japanese, but since I didn't want to get wet, I communicated in English not to drop me in the water, and they asked, "No Japan?" They really made sure I landed safely on the boat without dropping me. There might be a little splash, but my swimsuit didn't get wet at all, so I was able to go home dry. They took 66 photos while we were flying, and they were all angles I couldn't have captured myself. I thought I should have bought a GoPro, but the photos turned out to be wonderful memories. I had so much fun that I want to fly about three more times!

水しぶきで少し濡れることはありますが、着用していた水着は全く濡れることなく帰れました。
飛んでいる間の写真を66枚も撮影して頂き、自分では撮れないアングルの写真ばかりでGoProを買えばよかったなと思っていたのですが十分満足な思い出に残る写真となりました。
あと3回くらい飛びたいなと思うくらい楽しかったです！

It was our first time in Hawaii for our honeymoon and our first experience with parasailing. We were quite anxious when our pickup didn't arrive even after the scheduled time, but we waited patiently, and eventually, they came 17 minutes late. (It seemed that everyone else except us was a foreign guest, and they probably weren't at the meeting point on time.)

Neither the driver nor the staff at the parasailing check-in spoke much Japanese, so we struggled a bit with our zero English skills, but the boat staff spoke a little Japanese and were friendly.

I thought they would take photos for us and we could buy the data later, but if I hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have had any photos taken. So, if you want pictures, it's better to confirm in advance.

The parasailing itself was very stable and not scary at all! It was a luxurious time where we could see the city and beach of Waikiki and Diamond Head all at once. The boat captain was a young man who successfully fulfilled our request for a "little splashdown," and he was skilled! Another male staff member was also very pleasant.

ドライバーさんも、パラセーリング 受付のスタッフも、日本語はほぼ通じなかったので 英語力ゼロの私達は少し苦労しましたが、ボートのスタッフさんたちは少し日本語で話してくれましたし 気さくに接してくれました。
写真撮影は、勝手にしてくれて後でお金を払えばデータが買えると思っていて、特に何も言わなかったら 撮影してもらえてなかったので 写真が欲しい方は 事前に確認したほうが良いです。
パラセーリング 自体は、とても安定感があって全く怖くなかったです！ワイキキの街やビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望できる、贅沢な時間でした♪
ボートのキャプテンは若い男性でしたが 「少しだけ着水」を見事希望通り叶えてくれましたし、上手でしたよ！もう一人の男性スタッフも感じ良かったです。
海のコンディションによるんでしょうが、ボートの揺れも気にならず、待機時間も船上からの眺めを満喫できて楽しかったです。
また体験したいアクティビティです。

The view is amazing. I participated with a digital camera in hand, and although I had a foot strap, the camera was fine. It seems you can choose between no strap, waist, or foot options. When I said "a little," it was about the foot strap. Quite a few people were paragliding while holding their smartphones around their necks or selfie sticks. They won't take responsibility if you fall, though.

We flew in the morning, and the weather was wonderful. We were able to return to Ohana Waikiki Malia Hotel by 9:30.

A couple from California who rode with us joked, "Terrace House?" I couldn't respond well and just laughed. I guess it's famous because Netflix is airing Terrace House.

We used this for our honeymoon trip, and the staff's service was wonderful! When we took the lesson, there were only four of us, including my husband and me, so it was almost a one-on-one lesson, and we were able to stand on the board right away! On the day of the tour, we were picked up near our hotel and taken to a shop in Kailua. We had free time in the morning and kayaking in the afternoon. They provided a video on how to spend our free time. Renting bikes to visit Lanikai Beach was appealing, but we ultimately chose to head to Boots & Kimo's for their pancakes. We took out pancakes with macadamia nut sauce and French toast, then went to a nearby Whole Foods to buy iced coffee and smoothies. It had been six months since we last had them, and it was a moment of happiness—definitely delicious!

When we returned to the shop, we thought about having lunch with the coupon we received, but we were too full to eat. I wanted to try the recommended spinach and garlic pizza, but I had to give up due to being stuffed. It felt a bit wasteful.

午後になり、お目当てのカヤックタイム！この日は風が強く、波も高い状況でかなり引きましたがガイドの方に背中を押され、しぶしぶスタート・・・。でも乗ってみると案外大丈夫で、スタッフの方の声がけやアドバイスもあり、目標の島に向けてスタートできました。最初はぎこちなかったパドリングも少しずつ学習し、何とか島にたどり着くことができました。島一周の散策もガイドの方の解説でとても楽しかったです。帰りは行きとは逆に波に押されてあっという間にカイルアビーチに到着。次回は是非、沖に見えていた双子の島へチャレンジしたいと思います。
このツアーを申し込むときは、「この歳で初カヤック？」とか、当日 波が高い海を見て、正直 かなり腰が引けていましたが、百聞は一見にしかず めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。次回はより難度が高いコースにチャレンジしたい気分になれたのは、このツアーに参加したからこそ実感です。最後に終始、明るく かつ 細やかに面倒を見てくれたちはるさんと、陰に日向に支えてくれたトモキ君に感謝です。

I have been to Hawaii many times, but this time I challenged myself to try surfing for the first time! I decided to join the tour after reading the reviews. Since I wasn't sure about the location of the lesson, I opted for the pickup service, but I think I could go there on my own next time. Although the lesson wasn't in Japanese, there was someone who could instruct in Japanese! Moreover, it was a surprising reunion with someone I had met multiple times in the past at a certain place. I realized that it required more physical strength than I had imagined. I haven't mastered surfing completely, so I would like to participate in this tour again when I have the chance. Even as a beginner, they provide proper instruction, so I was able to stand up a few times. It was fun!

今まで何度もハワイへ行っていますが、今回、初サーフィンに挑戦！！こちらの口こみをみて、ツアー参加を決めました。
