Our honeymoon trip to Hawaii was amazing! There were Japanese staff members who explained everything to us, and other staff spoke Japanese in a friendly manner, making our time enjoyable! We tried stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and kayaking. Although there were limited numbers for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, people gradually got bored, so it naturally came around to our turn, which was funny. There was also a space for volleyball! The light snack donuts were tastier than I expected! I wish I had brought marine shoes for snorkeling. The shuttle bus was cold.

I watched a TV program and thought, "I want to try that!" so I gave it a go. We were a group of older members: my husband, 66 years old, myself at 61, and my cousin, 63. It wasn't difficult at all, and we had a great time. We paddled out a bit with the oars to turn around, and when a good wave came, we paddled really fast in sync with the calls. Once we caught the wave, we stopped paddling and glided on the wave at quite a speed. The sun was strong out on the ocean, but once we were riding the wave, the wind hitting our faces felt really nice and refreshing. We got to do it three times, which was amazing! If I come to Hawaii again, I will definitely do it again.

We wore swimsuits and shared one bath towel. For valuables, I recommend only bringing a room key and about 60 dollars in a waterproof case for your smartphone. There are no lockers, and since there are other participants, you will have to leave your belongings behind while flying.

For an additional 40 dollars, they will take about 150 photos, including some great shots of Diamond Head and ones that make it look like you’re being eaten by sharks. The photos can be downloaded directly to your smartphone or saved on an SD card right there. At the end, they gently drop you into the sea, so you will definitely get wet!

On the day we experienced this, there were some clouds over the island in the morning, but from above, the scenery was quite magical and very enjoyable. By the way, the boat and the air can be quite bumpy due to the wind, so if you are prone to motion sickness, it’s a good idea to take some medication.

The captain and the assistant were fun and lively, so don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with them. Since you’ve come all the way to Hawaii, the most important thing is to have fun. Definitely give it a try!

服装は水着で、荷物はバスタオルを２人で１枚持ちました。

We participated as a couple with our child who is in the third grade. We chose a morning course in mid-June. The shallow area was indeed shallow, but for elementary school students, it was about 140 centimeters deep, so they couldn't touch the bottom at all. The shallowest part was just about reachable. The weather was cloudy with occasional sunshine, but it was very beautiful, and our child loved it. We rode together on a kayak as a group of four, sat on a paddleboard with just our child, and even let our child paddle alone while we held the rope.

バナナボートとタコのボートのセットプランに参加したのですが、タコのボートは大人でも怖いくらいにスリル満点でした。(次はきっと参加しない)

Five out of the six groups were Japanese, but all six groups had a sense of unity and it was very enjoyable. This was likely because the staff were fun and friendly, and they always took care to communicate in simple Japanese and clear English while we were putting on our gear on the boat heading out to sea. We had a fun time on our canoe adventure and snorkeling at a special area with just the 3 of us. We saw a lot of beautiful fish and our snorkel gear was great! Our guide Kai was very friendly and attentive to our safety on the canoe and in the water. It was a bit tough for us to get back into the canoe after snorkeling but he worked with us and we made it!! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and it will be a very special memory for us all! Thank you Kai!
