The horses living in the vast grounds were all very calm and well accustomed to people. It was refreshing to be able to run freely in nature. I will definitely use this again the next time I come to Hawaii!

広大な敷地の中で生活している馬たちは皆、とても穏やかで良く人に慣れていました。自然の中で思いっきり駆け足して乗れるのは爽快でした。次回、ハワイに来た時も又必ず利用します！

We participated as a family of four, and we were extremely satisfied with our half-day tour, thanks to our guide, Yamauchi (Yama-chan). At the Krispy Kreme store where we gathered, Yama-chan's excellent talk created a sense of camaraderie among the participants. To acclimatize to the altitude, we aimed for 3055 meters while taking breaks. On the way, when we stopped at a supermarket to buy sushi for dinner, I cleverly got Kona coffee at a discount using Yama-chan's card. (When I got home and drank it, it turned out to be delicious coffee!)

Yama-chan's talk in the car was entertaining, and I kept saying "Wow!" at the stories I was hearing for the first time. After witnessing a magnificent sunset, we were treated to a sky full of stars! Everyone was captivated by the detailed explanations using a laser pointer. Did you know that the Big Dipper actually has eight stars? This tour was not only about the beauty of nature but also about the charm of Yama-chan, who is full of humanity. My whole family wants to visit Yama-chan again.

家族４人で参加、もう何といっても山内さん（山ちゃん）のガイドに大満足の半日でした。最初に集合したクリスピードーナッツの店でツアー参加者の紹介、山ちゃんの絶妙なトークで連帯感が生まれました。気圧に慣らす為、休憩を取りながら３０５５mを目指します。途中スーパーで夕食のお寿司を買う時、私はちゃっかりコナコーヒーを山ちゃんのカードでディスカウントして貰って調達しました。（帰って飲んだら、これが大当たり！の美味しいコーヒーでした。）
車内での山ちゃんのトークが面白く、初めて聞く話に「へぇ～」の連発。素晴らしい日没を見た後の満天の星！！レーザーポインターを使ったマニアックな解説にみんな釘付けでした。北斗七星はホントは八星ですって！自然の素晴らしさは勿論人間味溢れる山ちゃんの魅力にはまったツアーでした。家族全員また山ちゃんに会いに行きたいです。

Sooooo excited! You have to go once in your life!

I was supposed to try it last year, but it got canceled due to strong winds, so I came back for a revenge attempt!!

Since I was participating alone, I decided to hire an outside photographer to capture the experience.

I dove with a friendly instructor and photographer!! When jumping out of the Cessna, it was so quick that there was no time to feel scared. Haha! Once I jumped out, I enjoyed the free fall, which felt short at just one minute.

The weather was great, and it was a very pleasant experience. Also, the photos and videos make for wonderful keepsakes. If you have the budget, I definitely recommend signing up on-site♪

Some people felt a bit nauseous from the shaking after the parachute opened, so if you're worried about that, it might be a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

現地にてアウトサイドカメラマンもお願いしました。

気さくなインストラクター・カメラマンと一緒にダイブ！！
セスナから飛び出す時は一瞬で、「怖い」と思う暇もなく。笑
一気に飛び出すと1分間が短く感じるフリーフォールを楽しみました。

天気もよくとても気持ちのいい体験でした。
また、写真・動画もとてもよい記念になります。
ご予算に余裕のある方は、是非現地で申し込んでください♪

一部、パラシュートが開いた後の揺れで酔っている人も居たので、
心配な方は事前に酔い止めを飲んでおくと安心かもしれません。

I had my first horseback riding experience just a few days before my daughter's wedding. Contrary to my worries, I really enjoyed it. The four horses we rode were each a bit greedy or laid-back, but they were all very well-behaved, which made me feel at ease. The Japanese guide and driver took us to a famous food truck where the garlic shrimp was absolutely delicious!

心配をよそに とても楽しめました。 4人の乗った馬はそれぞれ食いしん坊だったり マイペースだったり でもとてもお利口で安心です。
ガイド 兼ドライバーの 日本人の人が案内してくれた 有名なフードトラックのガーリックシュリンプは最高に美味しかった！

The sunset and stargazing were both wonderful and moving. The only disappointment was that the full moon, especially since it was a supermoon, was too bright. I definitely want to go again during the new moon!

サンセットも星空観測も素晴らしくて感動しました。
ただ1つ残念だったのが満月、それもスーパームーンだったことで月あかりが明るすぎた。ぜひ今度は新月の時に行ってみたいです！

My wife wanted to go horseback riding, so I joined her. I didn't have high expectations, but I was very satisfied with the experience. Riding along the North Shore coastline on horseback was quite comfortable. We enjoyed eating garlic shrimp, buying T-shirts, and although it was short, it was a fun time. Above all, the guide's instructions were excellent. It was also a great way to learn about Hawaii, and I highly recommend it.

妻が乗馬をしたいと言うので参加。自分はさほど期待していませんでしたが、結果は大満足でした。ノースショアの海岸を馬の背中に揺られて行くのは中々に快適でした。ガーリックシュリンプを食べたり、Tシャツを買ったり、短いながらも楽しいですが、何と言ってもガイドの方の案内が良かった。ハワイの勉強にもなりオススメです。

I requested the advanced course. A Japanese participant mentioned that this is the only place on Oahu where you can do cantering, and they said they visited various places before finding this one. They adjust to the participants' levels, but we started running early on (laughs).

The wind felt nice, and the scenery was very beautiful, making it a fun experience. The horses were all quite relaxed as well.

上級者コースを頼みました。その時一緒になった日本人の方曰く、オアフの乗馬で駈歩ができるのはここのみで、その方はガンストックを見つけるまでに色々巡ったそうです。
参加者のレベルにも合わせてくれますが、始まって早々に走りました（笑）

風が気持ち良く、景色もとても綺麗で楽しかったです。馬たちもみんなのんびりしていました。

A great day's activity and a very active one too. Very scenic some beautiful spots. The weather was hot so bring lots of water. Guides were awesome and knowledgeable.

From the beginning, I planned my trip with the desire to see the starry sky near the Subaru Telescope on the Big Island of Hawaii. On the day of the visit, the sky was clear, the wind was calm, and the moon had not yet risen, making it the perfect location.

First, I was picked up at the hotel lobby and driven to the Onizuka Visitor Center, where we had dinner. At first, I thought, "Japanese food in Hawaii?" but after eating Hawaiian food for a while, I was very satisfied with the warm miso soup and delicious rice, especially in the chilly weather. Since it was still early, I think it’s better to keep lunch light.

After that, we took commemorative photos with the sunset in the background near the Subaru Telescope and then descended a bit for stargazing. The guide was very attentive and handled those who were feeling unwell from altitude sickness promptly. Additionally, he had extensive knowledge of constellations and cameras (he even set up the tour guests' cameras to capture beautiful shots) and provided various explanations using a laser pointer. I was truly moved to see the shield of Orion. We were also able to see shooting stars and satellites. I posted some photos, but the real sea of clouds and sunset were so magnificent that they can't be fully captured in pictures. Thank you very much. I would love to return in a different season.

当初より、ハワイ島のすばる望遠鏡の近くで星空を見たいと思って旅行の計画を立てました。
当日は、空は快晴、風は強くなく、月は観測時点ではまだ出ていないという最高のロケーションでした。
まず、ホテルのロビーまで迎えに来ていただき、オニヅカビジターセンターまで車で登り、夕飯をいただきました。最初は、ハワイまで来て日本食か、、と思ってましたが、ハワイのご飯を食べ続けた後かつ、肌寒い中での温かいみそ汁と美味しいご飯には大満足でした。時間が早いので、昼食は控えめにした方がいいかと思います。
その後、スバル望遠鏡の近くで夕日を背景に記念撮影をし、少し下りて星空観測をしました。ガイドさんは、気配り上手で、高山病で体調の悪くなった方にも、テキパキと対応されていました。また、星座の知識や、カメラの知識も豊富で(ツアー客のカメラでも、キレイな一枚を取れる設定にしてくれました。)、レーザーポインターでいろいろな説明をしてくださいました。オリオン座の盾まで見えたのには、本当に感動しました。流れ星や人工衛星も見ることができました。写真をアップしましたが、本物の雲海や夕日は、写真では伝えきれないくらい素晴らしかったです。本当にありがとうございました。次は季節を変えてまた行きたいと思います。

It was a jungle hike.
We crossed a small stream and went through a bamboo grove.
We climbed muddy areas and steep slopes.
I thought it might be tough for small children and elderly people.
I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes.
The guide provided water, cookies, insect repellent spray, and a small pouch.
There are no restrooms, so we were told to go in the mountains.
In addition to my friend and me, there were six other participants, all from the mainland United States.
The entire tour was in English.
It was a valuable experience.

小川を渡ったり竹やぶを通ったりしました。
ぬかるんだ場所や急な坂を上ったりしました。
小さなお子さんやご年配の方には厳しいかと思いました。
たくさん蚊にさされました。
水、クッキー、虫除けスプレー、小物入れポーチはガイドさんが用意してくれます。
お手洗いはありませんので、山の中でどうぞと言われました。
私と友人の他に6人参加していましたが、
皆さんアメリカ本土からの方でした。
すべて英語でのツアーです。
貴重な体験でした。

I spent a relaxing time with my friends on the Big Island of Hawaii. Horseback riding in Waipi'o Valley was exciting. The horses were very smart and well-trained. The dogs that followed us like guides were incredibly cute and the best part. The guides were also very kind and fun people. It became a wonderful memory. I want to visit again next time.

友人たちとハワイ島でゆっくり過ごしました。ワイピオ渓谷での乗馬はわくわくでした。お馬さんたちがとても賢くて躾が行き届いていました。案内のように付いてくるワンちゃんたちがとっても可愛くて最高でした。ガイドさんたちもとても親切で楽しい方々でした。素敵な思い出になりました。今度もまた会いに行きたいと思います。

A 2-hour horseback riding course! I had an initial riding license, so I was thrilled to ride. The magnificent, expansive scenery that you can't experience in Japan, the pleasant breeze, and the polite guidance in English made the moments walking along the coastline truly wonderful and moving.

In the last 30 minutes, my lack of training made my thighs hurt, possibly because I wore clothes that rubbed against me. So, everyone, please be careful when participating.

乗馬２時間コース！乗馬の初期の免許ももっていたので、るんるんで乗りました、日本では体験できない壮大な、奥行きのある風景、気持ちのよい風、英語での丁寧なガイダンス、海岸線を歩く瞬間は本当に素晴らしく感動的でした。
残り、３０分、私の鍛錬不足が股がいたくていたくて、こすれるような服でいったからかもしれません。そこは皆さん、気をつけて参加してください。

We have ziplined several times and this by far was the best!

We were slightly nervous but very excited. When we arrived, the ease and experience of the pilots and staff took away any concerns. The ride was smooth, serene and very fun. The views from up above were absolutely amazing! We even saw whales from the sky! I would highly recommend this activity to anyone. It may seem scary, but the ride was very secure and the pilot very experienced.

Our guide Kate was very knowledgeable. Had a wonderful time. The hike was well paced for our family, ages 5-70.

My husband bought us tickets to skydive for my birthday, and at first, I was skeptical and freaking out. However the second I got on the plane, all my fears went away. The view was phenomenal - the ocean, beaches, mountains and whales! I felt at ease with my professional, Mark, and while in the air, he let me take control of the shoot for a few minutes. It was the best experience of my life! It's exhilarating and the view is out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend skydiving at least once in your lifetime, and there's nothing like the view of Oahu on a bright, sunny day... I can't wait to do it again!

We were blessed with great weather and were able to see the best views from Haleakalā. The sunset over the sea of clouds and the starry sky were both so wonderful that words can't express them. More than anything, our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, was simply amazing! He talked to us during the drive, but his storytelling under the starry sky is something I will never forget. Of course, I want to see the views and the starry sky at Haleakalā again, but I also want to meet Mr. Yamauchi again. This tour makes you feel that way. There seem to be other tours of Haleakalā, but please consider joining this one with Maui All-Stars. It will cleanse your soul.

天気に恵まれ、ハレアカラからの最高の景色を見ることができました。
雲海の中の夕焼け、満点の星空、どちらも言葉で表現できないほど素晴らしかったです。
それよりも何よりも、ガイドの山内さんの対応がともかく素晴らしかった！。運転中も色々お話してくれるのですが、特に星空の下での山内さんの語りは一生忘れられません。
ハレアカラの景色、星空がもう一度見たいのはもちろんですが、また山内さんにお会いしたい。
そんな気にさせてくれるツアーです。
ハレアカラのツアーは他にもあるようですが、マウイ・オールスターズのこのツアーに是非参加してみて下さい。心が洗われます。

Awesome adventure, Larry was great! He knew so much about the area and the people that live there. Larry answered our questions as best as he could. He told us funny stories, history and folk lore about the plants and land formations as we came upon them. He was entertaining and we felt safe and comfortable with him at the wheel. We had quite a few times where we could get out and take pictures or explore the area at our many stops during the day. Our lunch was delicious. It was a great opportunity to get to know our fellow travelers while taking in the scenery.

I participated with my daughter (49) and grandson (16). It was all of our first horseback riding experience, but the pre-ride lecture was precise, and the horses were well-trained, so we enjoyed it without any worries. I highly recommend this. I previously participated in a carriage ride, but this was a completely different experience as we progressed along the stream.

私（７７歳）娘（４９）と孫（１６）の３人で参加しました。３人とも初めての乗馬経験でしたが、乗馬前のレクチャーも的確で馬も良くなれており全く心配なく大いに楽しめました。これはおすすめです。以前ⓑ荷馬車で参加しましたが、沢に沿って進み等全く違う経験でした。

I participated in this tour based on the experiences of others. On the day of the tour, the mountains visible from the hotel were covered in clouds, and I thought we wouldn't see any great views. The guide was very cheerful and confidently said that the summit would be clear, but as we gained altitude, it became cloudier, and we encountered a downpour like a tropical rainstorm. Even at the dinner location, the Onizuka Visitor Center, it was still raining, so I thought this was going to be a bust.

However, as we started to climb to the summit, the skies began to clear, and near the observatory, it turned into a beautiful clear sky, allowing us to see a wonderful sunset. (Sorry for doubting you, guide!) After that, we did some stargazing a little further down, and the guide explained using a laser pointer, but there were a few too many clouds, which was a bit disappointing. However, the explanations were very easy to understand, even for someone like me who isn't familiar with constellations, so I learned a lot.

We also had photos taken, and they are available for download, so there's no worry if you miss a shot. Additionally, at the Onizuka Visitor Center, I captured a rare "SILVER SWORD" on camera. I appreciate the guide for making the journey enjoyable with engaging stories. Thank you very much.

他の方の体験談を参考に今回のツアーに参加しました。
当日ホテルから見える山は雲がかかっており絶景は無理かと思っていました。
ガイドさんは非常に明るく、絶対山頂は晴れていると自信満々でしたが、高度が上がるごとに曇りだし、途中スコールのような雨が降り、夕食場所のオニズカビジターセンターでも雨が降っていたので、これはダメかと思っていました。
しかし、そこから山頂に登りだすとだんだん晴れ間が見えてきて、天文台付近では快晴になり、素晴らしいサンセットを見ることができました。（ガイドさん疑ってゴメンなさい。）
その後少し下った場所で星空観測を行い、レーザーポインタを使った説明をしてくれたのですが、雲が少し多かったのでちょっとだけ残念です。しかし、星座に疎い私にもわかりやすく説明してくれたので、非常に勉強になりました。
写真も撮っていただき、ダウンロードもできるので、撮り損じても安心です。
また、オニズカビジターセンターでは珍しい「SILVER SWORD」をカメラに収めました。
道中飽きないように一生懸命楽しい話をしていただいたガイドさん感謝しております。

I participated on March 8, 2017.

I wanted to ride along the coast, so I rented a car and went to the North Shore. There were some online warnings about it being hard to find, but it was well-marked on Google and the rental car's navigation system, so I had no trouble once I got close. However, it's definitely tough without a rental car.

Our club is located in a corner of a spacious polo field, and the horses were relaxed, providing a much more open atmosphere compared to Japan.

After showing our voucher, we set off with two teenage girls and a total of four people plus one staff member. The saddles were Western-style, which I wasn't used to, but the horses were really calm. The weather was cloudy with occasional sunshine, and the breeze felt great—it was the perfect outdoor ride.

However, the customer service felt a bit indifferent, and I got the impression that they weren't very accustomed to dealing with customers. I also wished we could have done a bit more trotting and cantering.

I recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy a leisurely ride along the coast (beginners are absolutely welcome).

海岸沿いを馬に乗りたくてノースショアにレンタカーを借りていく際に
こちらに行ってきました
わかりづらいというネットの前情報がありましたが、googleでもレンタカーの
カーナビにもしっかり乗っていて、実際に近くを通ればすぐ分かったので
場所の心配は不要です。ただし、レンタカーが無いとキツイのは確かですが。

広いポロの競技場の片隅にある当クラブは
馬たちがのびのびとしていて、日本と違ってゆったりとした空間でした

バウチャーを見せて、10代の女性2人と合計4人＋1人（staff）で出発
鞍はウエスタンなので慣れませんでしたが、馬は本当に大人しくて
天気も曇り時々晴れ、風は気持ち良くて最高の外乗でした

ただ接客は少し素っ気ない感じであまり客対応になれていない印象を受けました。
後は駆歩や早歩が少しできればよかったなと。笑

★ゆったり海岸沿いを外乗したい方（初心者でも全く問題なしです）にはお勧めです

I participated with my mother. The local guide provided deep insights into Hawaii's history and current social issues, which was very informative. Since the guide recommended some great shops on the North Shore in advance, I think we made effective use of our time, even though lunch was within an hour. We went horseback riding for nearly an hour along the beach, and the scenery was beautiful, plus the horses were adorable, so we were very satisfied. There were quite a few elderly people as well, so I believe horseback riding is accessible regardless of age.

母と2人で参加しました。現地のガイドの方はハワイの歴史や現在の社会問題などとても深く切り込んでお話してくださり、とてもためになりました。
ノースショアのオススメのお店を予めガイドさんに教えて頂いたので、ランチは1時間以内でしたが、時間を有効活用できたと思います。
乗馬は1時間近く海辺を散歩したのですが、景色もよく馬も可愛いので大満足でした。高齢の方も結構いらっしゃったので、年齢に関係なく乗馬できると思います。

It was really great! I was nervous and anxious before it started, but once I got on the Cessna, I forgot all about that and was filled with excitement. It became my best memory from my trip to Hawaii! Thank you very much.

I went on my first dive with three juniors, as experienced people said, "You absolutely have to do it if you're going to Hawaii." I was super excited and nervous from the morning. We flew to an altitude of 4,000 meters and dived for about 30 minutes. The instructor led the way, so we just went with the flow. The first five seconds were a scream like I had never experienced before, but I quickly got used to it. When the parachute opened, the beautiful scenery of Oahu Island spread out below, and we were lucky enough to see a whale. Above all, we were blessed with great weather, making it an unforgettable memory.

経験者から「ハワイに行くのなら絶対にやるべき」とのことから後輩3人と初ダイブ。
朝からテンション上がりまくりでドキドキです。
飛行機にて4000M上空に行き、30分ほどのダイブ。
インストラクターが主導なのでなすがままです。
最初の5秒間は経験したことのない絶叫でしたが、すぐに慣れてきて、パラシュートが開くとオワフ島と美しい絶景が眼下に広がり、運よくクジラまで見れました。
何より天気に恵まれ、最高の思い出です。

We had a blast! The scenery was awesome! The weather co-operated perfectly. We were treated to many film locations along the way and ever got to ride through a herd of grazing cattle! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgable about the ranch and the different points of interests on the trail. She had superb riding skills and took excellent care of us during the tour. The horses were well taken care of, healthy and have good dispositions. I had not been on a horse in over 20 years and my husband has limited riding experience, but that did not matter, the staff conducted a safety brief before we started, answered all our questions and matched us with our mounts. What an awesome way for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!

I decided to take this trip to the Big Island after seeing a photo of the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea. Since I was with my mother, who is over 60, I was worried about altitude sickness, but the guide was fun and kind, so there were no problems at all. The sunset from the summit was truly beautiful and moving.

During the stargazing session, the guide used a laser pointer to explain the stars and constellations in detail, which was very educational. We were also able to see the glow of the Kilauea volcano from the stargazing location, which was another breathtaking experience.

It was a nice service that they took many photos and allowed us to download them for free, and I appreciated that they kindly taught us how to set up our own cameras to take beautiful pictures. Knowing that I could download the photos later allowed me to enjoy the stunning views at my own pace, even if I couldn't capture them perfectly with my own camera.

In addition to the incredible scenery, the guide and the other tour participants were all very pleasant, which truly filled my heart with joy.

It was great to see both the stars and the moon during this half moon phase, but if you're hoping for a sky full of stars, I recommend participating during the new moon, as everyone suggests.

マウナケア山頂からの夕日の写真を見て、今回のハワイ島の旅行を決めました。
還暦過ぎている母と一緒だったので、高山病なども心配でしたが
ガイドの方が楽しく親切にしていただいたので全く問題ありませんでした。
山頂からの夕日は本当に美しく、感動しました。
その後の星空観測ではレーザーポインターを使って詳しく星や星座の説明をしてくださって
とても勉強になりました。
また星空観測の地からキラウエア火山の炎もうっすら見ることができ、こちらも感動しました。
写真もたくさん撮っていただき、ダウンロードも無料でさせていただけるのもうれしいサービスですし、自分のカメラでもきれいに撮れる設定を親切に教えてくださったこともありがたかったです。自分のカメラでうまく取れなくても、後でダウンロードできると思えばゆっくりと自分の目で絶景を楽しむことができました。
絶景tに加え・ガイドさんや一緒になったツアー参加者の方たちも大変気持ちの良い方ばかりで
本当に心が満たされました。

今回は半月で星と月が一緒に見れたのも良かったのですが、満点の星を期待するなら皆さんがおっしゃるように新月の時に参加されることをお勧めします。

I wanted to experience it at least once, so I participated. There were many female participants, and there was also a female instructor. Japanese is not spoken here. You will be asked to sign a waiver. They will film you before, during, and after the flight, but when you're in the air, the wind from below pushes your face, making it look funny. You can decide whether to purchase the video after watching it. It was fun, but I was really tired after the flight. I ended up sleeping at the hotel after returning. My companion seemed to still be feeling unwell the next day, so it might be better to schedule your plans considering how you feel after participating.

女性の参加者も多く、インストラクターも女性の方がいました。
日本語は通じません。
誓約書を書かされます。
飛ぶ前、飛んでる最中、飛んだ後、ビデオ撮影してくれますが、
空中にいるときは下からの風によって顔が押されてブサイク。笑
見てから購入するかしないか決めれます。
楽しかったですが、飛んだ後疲れがすごいです。
帰った後はホテルで寝てしまいました。
連れは翌日も体調がよくなかったようなので、
参加後の予定を考えたスケジュールで予約した方がいいかもしれないですね。

We signed up as a family of four. Our six-year-old was especially excited as it was their first experience, but on the way to the location in the rental car, we got lost and it became clear that we wouldn't make it in time for the meeting. We contacted the ranch, but they said they couldn't wait because there were other participants. It was completely our fault, so we gave up and headed to the location with a heavy heart, hoping at least to show the kids the horses. However, during the drive, I received a call from a VELTRA staff member who said they would negotiate with the ranch. After a while, they informed us that the other participants would go ahead, and we would start late and catch up with the group, which the ranch agreed to. We started 40 minutes late, but thanks to that, the kids were overjoyed. I am very grateful to the VELTRA staff for their persistent negotiation. I could feel their dedication. Thank you very much.

家族４人で申し込みました。特に下の６才の子は初めての体験で、とても期待・興奮していたのですが、朝レンタカーで現地へ向かう途中で道に迷い、集合時間に間に合わないのが確実となりました。牧場へ連絡を取ったのですが、他の参加者があり待てないとのこと。完全にこちらに非があるのであきらめて、せめて子供に馬を見せるだけでもと思い沈んだ心で現地に向かいましたが、その途中でVELTRAのスタッフさんから電話があり、先方と交渉してみますとのこと。しばらくすると他の参加者には先行してもらい、僕たちは遅れてスタートしてグループに追いつくことで牧場側が考慮してくれたということでした。４０分遅れのスタートでしたが、おかげさまで子供達も大喜びでした。VELTRAのスタッフさんが粘り強く交渉してくれたおかげで、とても感謝しています。スタッフさんの本気を感じました。本当にありがとうございました。
