The sunset, night view, and Friday fireworks were all very beautiful. The food was delicious, but I felt it was a bit lacking in quantity. The five-star seats were quite cold, so a jacket is a must. It was so cold that I often went outside to warm up. (laugh)

This cruise was not very good. The food was cold and the meat was mostly fat and if I could guess, it was about a 2 ounce cut of fat. The show was 2 people, doing a song. Not what I would think a show of the culture would be.

We received amazing service my wife and I! We celebrated our 1 month anniversary being married and Armando took outstanding care of us and we had such an amazing time. At the very end of the night we were pleasantly surprised with the song we played for our first dance on our wedding day, we were invited to dance up front and the servers were so enthusiastic and fun the entire time. 11/10 would recommend to a friend and we will be returning next special occasion!!

The Star of Honolulu was awesome… what a great time me and my wife had… nice big ship lots of room… and what a show at the end… they do a great job getting us all in position out on the water for the sunset. We had a great experience with the crew as well as the customer service team prior to sailing. We were following GPS and ran into crazy traffic and thought we’d miss the boat, so we reached out to the customer service team via text, and were easily able to communicate update them as we got closer. We arrived within seconds of sailing and were greeted warmly by the staff…hopped on and were able to join the fun! From the beginning to the end, we felt taken care of, well fed and had plenty to drink and just the right amount of time on the water to take in the amazing views and relax. It was a trip well worth taking and we plan on taking a voyage the next time we’re back! MAHALO!!!
Great professional sailors and coast guard certified crew. Great “Holokai Hooch”, gotta be careful, that hooch will sneak up on you, especially if you mix it with champagne for that carbonated kick hehe!
Great romantic time with my husband, watched the sunset as sugar ray played lightly in the background. We are a young couple but we love 90s music!

This is a plan for an easy sunset cruising experience. The departure is from the back of the Prince Hotel. There’s a trolley stop nearby, making it convenient.
While Japanese is not spoken, it’s fine to ask questions as needed. You can wait comfortably at a nearby food stall area until departure. There are also restrooms available.
The safety agreement can be completed in advance or you can scan a QR code on-site. The page is in English, but it’s not too difficult, so it should take about 10 minutes to finish. You can complete it for your children as well.

沖に出て40分くらい、夕日を待ちながら停留します。その間に皆、海の飛び込んで遊びます。一応、ライフジャケットと浮き具（水泳教室で使うような紐で括り付けるやつ）はありますが、数も少なく、古いです。
■準備：きちんと遊びたいなら、浮き輪、シュノーケリングセットなどをしっかりと持っていってください。また、日が落ちてくると船上は夏でも涼しい（寒いくらい）になることもおおいため、体を拭くタオルはもちろん、上着も必須です。飲み物については、基本は持ち込み不可ですが、カバンにペットボトルを忍ばせる、簡単に口にほうり込めるものを忍ばせるのは大丈夫そうです（日本ほどうるさくない）

The cruise was a great experience! The captain was very good and friendly and the first mate was incredible setting up the boat, pouring drinks, taking pics, and being super friendly. This is definitely worth the price and much more, highly recommend!
The staff was great, however unfortunately, due to other people drinking on the boat & a lot of motion sickness, there was a lot of throw up Incidents which caused the whole ride to be unpleasant and rather disgusting. Not to mention, we had to takeoff our shoes so I hope I didn’t step on anything…. If you book, make sure you take some dramamine, even if you don’t think you have motion sickness.
The good news is that we got to sunset on our way back to the pier.

The good news is that most guests do not experience motion sickness. For guests who know they have a propensity to experience motion sickness we recommend an over the counter remedy such as Dramamine at least an hour before boarding. The cruise was very nice. Sunset was perfect. Prime rib was OK. I was expecting more. The chicken was great! Fish, was ok too. I would do the cruise again. I would upgrade to see if the food was better. Buffet was ok for an.overall rating!
The atmosphere was amazing! Looked very high end and it felt like it. Staff was very friendly and had great service. Super romantic dinner cruise that I highly recommend to any couple looking for a unique Hawai’i experience. Food was really good, not the biggest portions, but still we left satisfied. I will say whatever the dessert was, wasn’t very good. The only negative. It was this fruit flavored cake but it tasted like dish soap. Other than that this is a must!! Beautiful scenery and nice cool breeze with excellent food and live entertainment! We did pay for the middle tier I believe so it was the four course meal with two drink tickets. I think anyone would love this.
We booked the Friday night Waikiki fireworks sail. It was fantastic. Our crew were friendly, helpful, and made it an enjoyable experience. My family had a wonderful time.

The plan included a bus pickup, so there were no particular inconveniences getting to the location. The whales were different from what I had imagined, but I think it was nice to have a wonderful boat trip. The boat felt rockier than I expected. Some people were sitting, but most were on the deck on the third floor watching. They announced when we were likely to see whales, so we could spot them quickly, but most of what we saw were just tails or backs, and we couldn't really see the full picture as I had imagined. However, the weather was nice, and it was a fun boat trip, so I was happy with it.

Walk onboard barefoot from the beach at Duke's through the gentle waves so put your fancy footwear in your bag or store your flipflops on board with all the others.

We boarded while avoiding the waves from the sandy beach, but we still ended up getting wet up to our stomachs. Even in mid-July, the night breeze was cooler than I expected, so the beach towel I borrowed from the hotel came in handy as a blanket.
The fireworks were very beautiful, but the view of the hotel cluster at night from the boat was also lovely.

A great late afternoon experience. Hats-off to the crew for their organisation, quality of experience and setup on the cat. The kids were entertained on the foredeck (pitching seas seemed to be their gig) with the fore cargo nets, the music was great (well, our era anyway).
