The Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise was the best I have ever experienced! Food was excellent and rates a 10!!! The service was top notch with the servers offering to do anything to make our trip pleasant and fun. The entertainment was more than expected and with the audience participation it made the evening so enjoyable. I would take my whole family next time!

When we set sail, we were rocked by the waves, but once we got out to sea, it felt like a comfortable cradle. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks, and as the night sky darkened, the stars began to shine, and the sparkling night view of Waikiki was beautiful. It was the best cruising experience, with the sea breeze blowing. However, when disembarking, the high tide caused the waves to be rough, and someone fell due to the strong waves. It's recommended to keep your phone and other items in a waterproof case.

The dinner cruise was really fun and relaxing. As soon as you get on you have drinks available and the staff are really nice. The food selection was okay, nothing too spectacular. Originally, I was planning to use a different, cheaper catamaran, but I couldn't make a reservation. I also hadn't booked Holokai, but luckily, when I got there, I was able to slip into an opening that became available at the last minute. The sunset I was hoping for was decent, but the fact that I was able to go whale watching by chance was the highlight. The cheaper catamaran didn't go out far enough, so if I had used that one, I probably wouldn't have been able to go whale watching. I'm glad I chose Holokai.
